Abstract

Electric cars have now been made and developed by famous car manufacturers outside of Indonesia. Of course electric cars have batteries that must be recharge. Inside the electric car charger there is a controller which is one of the components, which is an epoxy coated capacitor. The faster the charger, the higher the temperature will be, to deal with this problem, it is necessary to increase the performance of the capacitor to increase the temperature and humidity resistance. Then from this explanation the researchers will test the EF150K epoxy coating on the Disc Ceramic Capacitor (DCC), by using epoxy coating thickness testing by using 3 samples the results obtained are on average 0.8 mm, Pressure Cycle Test (PCT) using 20 samples with  conditions temp: 121 °C, p: 2 bar for 48 hour, obtained average capacities and insulance resistance before PCT testing C: 2155,4pF, IR: 141540Ω and after C: 2238,2 pF, IR: 147140 Ω, and humidity test using 20 sample with condition 95% RH, temp: 40°C for 504h obtained average capacities and insulance resistance before humidity test C: 2.157,89 pF, IR: 119560 Ω and after C: 2.233,63 pF, IR: 123160 Ω. The use of EF150K epoxy is very well used as a DCC capacitor coating, because the coating is resistant to temperatures up to 121 ° C with a pressure of 2 bar, and withstands temperatures up to 40 °C with 95% RH.

Abstract

Indonesia has enormous solar radiation potential, and it can be converted to electrical energy by utilizing solar PV systems. Mainly the irrigation of paddy rice fields in Indonesia dependent on a diesel-powered water pumping system. A solar PV system can replace this method, and it generates several benefits. The present study proposed the utilization of a solar PV system to drive the water pump based on a 100% renewable power supply. The technological and economic viability assessment of solar PV water pumping system to irrigate paddy rice filed at Telang village, Bangkalan, Indonesia, is investigated. The HOMER software has been used to generate the optimal configuration of a renewable system. Initial capital, net present cost, and cost of energy will evaluate as economic assessment criteria. The solar PV and diesel generator water pumping system also compared. The results showed that for water pumping systems, a solar PV system is more cost-effective than a diesel generator. It has lower annual operational and maintenance costs, 100% renewable energy penetration, and free energy cost.

Abstract

Biogas is a gas produced by anaerobic activity with the process of decomposition (degradation) of organic materials. Biogas can be produced from several sources of methane, including domestic (household) waste, biodegradable waste, animal waste, or organic wastes that can be decomposed under anaerobic conditions. This study aims to determine the effect of various conditions (time, pH, stirring time and the type and concentration of inoculum) on biogas production and to analyze the optimum conditions in the biogas production process. This research was conducted with the factors that influence the process of making biogas. Based on the analysis results obtained several processes in the production of biogas, among others, hydrolysis, acetogenesis, asedogenesis, and methanogenesis. The results of the previous experiment were the optimal biogas research from tofu liquid waste, biogas produced with a volume of 26,700 ml, within 36 days and was obtained using an operating temperature of 35-40ᵒC and using cow dung inoculum, and using a 36 liter digester.

Abstract

East Nusa Tenggara Province (NTT) is an archipelago province located in the south of Indonesia has a sea area of 200,000 km2 (outside ZEEI) in it has marine resources and fisheries that can be developed for the benefit of the community. Seagrass and mangrove ecosystems play an important role for the environment both physically and ecologically. To know the condition of the ecosystem, it is necessary to conduct research on the community structure of seagrass and mangrove ecosystems. This research was conducted in Sulamu Village, Kupang waters in November 2018. Each ecosystem is sampling as many as 3 stations with 3 stations each. From the results obtained, found 7 species of seagrass in salamu village waters namely Halodule pinifolia, Thalassia hemprichii, Cymodocea serrulate, Enhalus acoroides, Halophila ovalis, Cymodocea rotundata, and Halodule uninervis. Seagrass density obtained is the highest 2847 tgk/m2 and the lowest 1392 tgk/m2 with stable community conditions. In mangrove ecosystems found 11 types of mangroves found in sulamu waters namely Avicennia alba, Osbornia octodonta, Bruguiera parviflora, Aegiceras corniculatum, Rhizopora mucronata, Sonneratia alba, Rhizopora apiculata, Xylocarpus granatum, Limnitzera racemosa, Gymnanthera paludosa and Nypa frutican. The mangrove community structure in the waters of Salamu Village is unstable and dominating.

Abstract

Nowadays, in the Danau Bangkau swamp, there is a tendency that some types of fish are increasingly difficult to find and the size of the fish that are still available is relatively small, and the catch of fishermen has decreased. Utilization of fishery potential of Danau Bangkau swamp through the development of aquaculture business is an alternative option that must be implemented. This research was conducted to be able to see the feasibility of the water quality in the Danau Bangkau swamp so that hope it can be basic information for the development of aquaculture in that area. The results showed that the temperature range in the waters of the Danau Bangkau swamp was 28.3-32.4 oC, the brightness was 72-95 cm, degree of acidity (pH) is 6.01-7.2, dissolved oxygen (DO) 1.2-4.3 mg/l, nitrate 0.7-9.8 mg/l, phosphate 0.2-3.31 mg/l and total suspended solids 7-48 mg/l. In general, the value of water quality parameters fulfill the quality standards, except for dissolved oxygen and phosphate parameters. The low levels of dissolved oxygen and high levels of phosphate indicated that there has been pollution in the Danau Bangkau swamp waters so it is not suitable for the cultivation activities.

Abstract

Rice is one of the most important staple food consumed by more than half of the world population, especially in Indonesia where majority of the people consumed rice as daily intake. Precision agriculture is needed to boost production to meet the demand. As limiting factor for plant growth, huge doses of nitrogen fertilizer are deployed, in fact the absorbtion rate of plant was only about 50%. Developing vision-control based robot for fertilizing plant need proper database so that false positive and negative could be avoided. Several previous methods that were available to assest nitrogen status in plant such as a color chart, spectrometer, SPAD-502, and kjedahl. Plant phenotyping is often used for plant breeding, but also very useful in determining nutrient status in plants. Cheap and simple phenotyping using digital camera followed by extracting data through open source platform such as ImageJ can be very useful to generate data for building the database. Here we presented the current progress on plant phenotyping for nitrogen assessment in plant as well as an ImageJ in phenomic era. We also highlight some robotic progress especially vision-based robot, who rely on proper imaging data for their training.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of water application intervals and the type of drum fertilizer on the growth and yield of mung bean (Vigna radiata L.), This research was conducted in the greenhouse of Agrotechnology Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Trunojoyo University, Madura. The research design used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) which consisted of 2 factors, factor I, the water supply interval consisted of four levels, namely A1 (1 once a day), A2 (2 once a day), A3 (3 once a day), A4 (4 days). very). Factor II type of manure consists of two levels, namely P1 (cow manure) and P2 (goat manure). The results showed that the water treatment interval had a significant effect on plant height parameters at all ages of observation and leaf number parameters at 27 and 39 DAP. The highest value was obtained by treatment A1. Treatment The type of manure only had a significant effect on the number of leaves at 39 DAP. There was an interaction between the treatment interval of water application and the type of manure on the parameters of wet weight, dry weight, number of pods per plant and seed weight per plant and the best treatment was P1A4.

Abstract

The research was carried out with the aim of knowing how influential the implementation of training from the application of the State Property Accounting Management Information System (SIMAK BMN) administration system and the motivation and competence of Disbekal personnel to the improvement of the quality of Disbekal personnel's performance. The data collection technique was by distributing questionnaires, where the research population was personnel in the accounting department of BMN at the Disbekal Head Office and DKI Jakarta Regional Office, the entire population of 320 Disbekal personnel in this study was used as a sample. Data analysis using statistical methods with independent variables are competence, motivation, and SIMAK-BMN training, while the dependent variable is the quality of personnel performance. It was found that SIMAK-BMN training had a significant effect on the quality of the performance of the Disbekal personnel, motivation and competence affected the performance of the Disbekal personnel.

Abstract

The main disease in maize is downy mildew caused by the fungus Peronosclerospora spp.. This pathogen can cause yield losses of up to 100%. Therefore, efforts to control this disease are continuously carried out, including technical culture, assembly of resistant plants, and use of synthetic fungicides. At the farm level, the use of metalaxyl, synthetic fungicides is the most common practice. On the other hand, it has been reported that some Peronosclerospora groups are starting to become resistant to metalaxyl. These problems lead to the need for alternative controls, for example with biological agents. Biological agents from bacterial groups have been developed to control plant disease, but for downy mildew is still limited. The purpose of this study is to screen and test Bacillus spp. ability to suppress downy mildew and promote the growth of maize. The assay was carried out on seeds by invitro to investigate growth-promoting reactions and also testing under controlled conditions in greenhouses to investigate the suppression ability of downy mildew disease development. The results showed B. polymyxa strain BP18, Bacillus subtilis strain BS41, Bacillus sp. strain BT1, and Bacillus sp. strains can stimulate the growth of corn seedlings and suppress downy mildew. The best isolate in suppressing downy mildew was Bacillus sp. strain BT1 with the smallest AUDPC value (3.94) and the highest protection index (82.71%). It is hoped that these results will find potential isolates and have the potential to be developed into biopesticides and biofertilizers.

Abstract

Coffee drinks are in demand by almost all groups of people. In this modern era, along with the high level of people's busyness in activities, so they will be very busy and most of them take a short break to enjoy a cup of coffee as a reliever of drowsiness and an increase in enthusiasm. By designing a photovoltaic-based coffee brewer grinder machine to produce a coffee maker that is suitable for consumption by maintaining a water temperature of 70 oC, so as to produce coffee that is cloudy, light, watery, dark dilute, dark dilute, and dark thick, which is ready to be served for coffee connoisseurs. At the design stage of the on-off temperature control system diagram on the automatic coffee brewer machine heater, the process of making a functional block diagram is carried out. The heating control system on the coffee brewer uses a closed loop control system with feedback using the DHT11 sensor.
