Abstract

Legumes play an important role in the food diversification programs in Indonesia. The Bambara bean has a high enough nutritionalvalue and is thus a promising food source for increased production. Bambara beans also have the advantage of being able to grow well on dry land. The activity of assembling superior varieties of Bambara peanut has been carried out since 2012, namely through the selection of local cultivars from various Bambara peanut planting centers, including from Madura. The yield test is the final stage in the assembly of varieties and lines that pass all stages of the test, which will later be submitted for release as new superior varieties. This study aims to test the yield potential of selected lines of Bambara peanut planted during the dry season in Bangkalan, Madura.  This study used a randomgroup design (RAK) with 12 genotypes of Bambara beans and repeated 3 times. The results showed that G12 (CKB-1 UP) is a genome that bears the highest production production among 11 other genotypes with a productivity of 2.28 tons/ha of pods and 109 days after planting (DAT). The number of pods has a high heritability value, so that it can be used as a reference in making a selection. The results of the correlation test showed that the vegetative character had an effect on the yield character.

Abstract

AbstractLaw enforcement practices in the military environment are still not in line with sectoral egos. Law enforcement has not been able to guarantee substantive order, truth and justice. When carrying out law enforcement in the military environment, it should not only refer to normative legal rules, but what needs to be done more is to make legal breakthroughs that are more effective and efficient. The discipline of a soldier is an absolute thing that is inseparable from his duty to maintain the security of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. This study analyzes contemporary forms of threats related to security and resilience and explains the similarities and differences in national resilience studies which aim to realize a national security system and develop national security systems in other countries. This research is normative juridical research, using a statutory approach, conceptual approach, and analytical techniques in the form of grammatical interpretation and systematic interpretation. This research explains that the forms of threats that occur in Indonesia include problems at the border, intolerance between ethnicities and between governments and religions, inequality in bureaucratic reform, inadequate law enforcement, and transnational crime. This research shows that national resilience and security are influenced by the professionalism of the Indonesian National Army. The safe conditions of a country cannot be separated from just security and defense but are in synergy with other factors, namely economics, politics, law, socio-culture, ideology, geography, demography and resources

Abstract

Perusahaan kayu lapis ini adalah perusahaan yang memproduksi kayu lapis, blockboard, dan polyester. Dalam proses pembuatan kayu lapis masih ditemukan produk cacat dengan persentase rata-rata dari bulan September 2020 sampai dengan februari 2021 (23,94%) melebihi standar perusahaan (2,5%) sehingga tidak dapat di ekspor. Metode yang digunakan untuk memecahkan permasalahan kualitas pada penelitian ini adalah Metode Seven Tools. Metode Seven Tools adalah metode yang digunakan untuk memecahkan permasalahan kualitas dalam proses produksi. Metode New Seven Tools merupakan metode untuk memetakan permasalahan kualitas secara terstruktur untuk mempermudah dalam pengambilan keputusan terhadap tindakan usulan perbaikan yang diberikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan cacat dominan yang menjadi prioritas perbaikan kualitas, menentukan penyebab kecacatan dominan dan hubungan sebab-akibat, menentukan usulan perbaikan yang tepat untuk meminimasi cacat dominan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa jumlah cacat dominan terdapat pada jenis cacat lekang samping dengan jumlah cacat sebesar 18.976 dengan presentase cacat sebesar 61,17%. Jenis cacat dominan berikutnya adalah gembung dengan jumlah cacat sebesar 7.721 dengan presentase 24,89%. Faktor penyebab cacat lekang samping dan gembung yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kualitas kayu lapis adalah kadar air pada material kayu 21%, panas platen pada mesin hot press tidak rata, serta lem kayu tidak merata pada lembaran kayu dengan skor 9. Adapun usulan yang diberikan dan dapat diterapkan kepada perusahaan PT. Asia Forestama Raya adalah memberikan pelatihan kepada operator setiap tiga bulan, melakukan pengecekan dan perawatan mesin setiap bulan, mengganti roll pada mesin glue spreader serta melakukan inspeksi bahan baku setiap hari kerja.

Abstract

Turnover intention or the desire to move is the tendency or intention of employees to quit their jobs voluntarily or move from one workplace to another. Burnout is an individual's response to work stress that occurs chronically and develops progressively which causes changes in health that affect work activities. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of work stress and teamwork on turnover intention and burnout as an intervening variable. The design of this study is observational analytic which aims to determine the relationship between variables through hypothesis testing, without intervening with the research subjects. The method used in this study is cross-sectional, by collecting data simultaneously at one time. Based on the entire series of analyses, it was found that burnout intervenes with work stress and teamwork on turnover intention so that by reducing work stress and increasing teamwork, burnout will be reduced so that it can reduce the turnover intention rate. Work stress and burnout have an impact on turnover intention, and teamwork has an impact on burnout.

Abstract

Current characteristics, including the type of dominant current, velocity, and direction, as well as the movement of ocean currents, cause the condition of a body of water to be dynamic. The aim of the study was to calculate the current direction and determine the direction of the west and east monsoon currents at Manakarra Beach in Mamuju. This study used the ARC GIS, Aviso, and MS Excel applications to utilize secondary data. The raw data were downloaded on Aviso to obtain the u and v vectors. The data obtained from Aviso was then processed into the MS Excel application to obtain the direction and velocity of the current. After gaining the current direction and velocity, the data were then visualized in the form of direction and velocity using interpolation analysis in ARC GIS. The results of the study were in the form of current velocities in Manakarra waters in 2022 in the west monsoon (reaching the highest number of 0.876561 m/s and the lowest number of 0.06885 m/s), and in the east monsoon the current velocity reached the highest number of 0.53816 m/s and the lowest number of 0.07355 m/s. In addition, the current direction in Manakarra waters in 2022 in the west monsoon had three directions, namely from the northwest, west, southwest, and ends in the northeast. In the east monsoon, there were three current directions in Manakarra waters, namely from the east, northeast, southeast, and partly from the northwest.

Abstract

Jakarta, as one of the metropolitan cities in Indonesia, has various problems in the waste sector. According to the 2022 National Waste Management Information System (SIPSN), daily waste generation in DKI Jakarta in 2022 is 8,527.07 tons with a reduction of around 26% in each administrative city area. This research uses literature studies based on several theories and research regarding waste problems with the aim of increasing community participation in implementing Minister of the Environment Regulation Number 13 of 2012 concerning Guidelines for Implementing Reduce, Reuse, Recycle through Waste Banks as an effort towards a circular economy. The results of the analysis using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method with the help of the Superdecision Application show the weight of the criteria for determining waste processing in order from highest, namely showing that social aspects have the highest preference (51.49%), environmental aspects (28.24%), economic aspects (11.89%) and technological aspects (8.37%). Meanwhile, the alternative priority order with the highest preference is Compost at 51.617%, followed by the Recycle method at 24.40%, Incineration at 15.61% and the Landfill method at 8.36%. with an Inconsistency value of 0.02. This shows that the calculation of these criteria still falls within the inconsistency threshold, which cannot be more than 0.1.

Abstract

Evaluasi nilai daya gabung umum (DGU), daya gabung khusus (DGK), heterosis dan heterobeltiosis dibutuhkan untuk menentukan arah program pemuliaan tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi daya gabung dan heterosis komponen hasil tanaman melon hibrida pada persilangan diallel lengkap untuk memilih melon hibrida yang mempunyai sifat tahan terhadap penyakit powdery mildew dan produksi tinggi. Penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Pamekasan-Madura, Indonesia. Penelitian meng gunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan 25 genotip sebagai perlakuan dan diulang sebanyak 3 ulangan, sehingga terdapat 75 unit percoban.  Genotip yang digunakan adalah 25 genotip hasil persilangan dialel lengkap, yaitu : 5 penyerbukan sendiri tetua, 10 tanaman F1 dan 10 tanaman F1 resiprok. Parameter pengamatan adalah infeksi tingkat daun, tingkat infeksi tanaman, tingkat infeksi populasi, dan bobot buah. Pendugaan daya gabung umum (DGU), daya gabung khusus (DGK) dan heterosis diperoleh dari analisis dialel menggunakan pendekatan Griffing metode I.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Karakter tingkat infeksi daun dan bobot buah dikendalikan oleh oleh aksi gen aditif sedangkan untuk karakter tingkat infeksi tanaman dan tingkat infeksi populasi dikenndalikan oleh aksi gen dominan.  Pengaruh ekstrakromosomal terjadi pada karakter tingkat infeksi populasi dan bobot buah.  Galur 1 (PK165), galur 3 (PK464) dan 5 (PK667) mempunyai DGU tinggi pada karakter bobot buah sehingga bisa digunakan untuk merakit varietas hibrida berdaya hasil tinggi atau digunakan sebagai varietas unggul bersari bebas. Persilangan 1(PK165) x3(PK464), 2 (PK176)x5(PK667), 3(PK464)x1(PK165), dan 3(PK464) x5(PK667) adalah hibrida yang mempunyai nilai DGU, DGK, heterosis dan hetrobeltiosis tinggi pada karakter bobot buah, tingkat infeksi daun, tanaman dan populasi.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and complement information about the influence of green marketing and service quality on customer's perceived satisfaction mediated by brand image. The research used quantitative methods and survey through online questionnaires towards 712 inpatiens population of private hospitals in East Bekasi in September – November 2023. From 357 respondents, 293 filled out the questionnaire and 257 of them were taken as samples. This research has done through the validity and reliability tests, factor analysis KMO-MSA and Bartlett Test, and path analysis to answer the hypothesis and determine the structural equation model with SmartPLS 3.3.9. The results show that the five hypotheses have been proven positive and significant, namely the direct influence of green marketing on brand image; service quality on brand image; green marketing on customer's perceived satisfaction; service quality on customer's perceived satisfaction; and brand image on customer's perceived satisfaction. Indirectly, brand image acts as a partial mediator that mediates the positive and significant influence of green marketing on customer's perceived satisfaction; and the influence of service quality on customer's perceived satisfaction.

Abstract

Renewable energy is energy that comes from natural resources that are continuously available. Renewable energy will replace fossil fuels that will slowly run out, fossil fuels such as oil, gas and coal. Dependence on fossil fuels results in the depletion of reserves of these energy sources. One of them is a hydroelectric power plant using a Pelton turbine. The working principle of a Pelton turbine is to utilize fluid and water power to generate shaft power. The rotation of the turbine shaft will be converted by the generator into electrical power. In this study, an experiment was conducted on a piston mechanism hydroelectric power plant using a Pelton Turbine with 14 blades with variations in blade angles of 0ᵒ, 10ᵒ, and 15ᵒ with a piston mechanism. The research sought was torque, shaft rotation, mechanical power, voltage, voltage power, turbine power and efficiency. The results of this study show the effect of blade angle variations on the torque produced by the Pelton turbine at an angle of 0ᵒ producing the highest rotational torque of 17.66 Nm, while at an angle of 15ᵒ producing a rotational torque of 17.06 Nm, and the power produced by the Pelton turbine at an angle of 15ᵒ producing higher mechanical power and turbine power compared to angles of 0ᵒ and 10ᵒ, namely mechanical power of 1076.724 J/s and turbine power of 83 watts, shaft rotation of 603 Rpm, and turbine efficiency at an angle of 15ᵒ producing a value of 63%.

Abstract

Improving road transportation accessibility is essential for enhancing local social and economic activity in a country. One way to maintain the accessibility of the road network and ensure that users feel safe and comfortable is to maintain an adequate pavement surface layer throughout the duration of the network. Prolonged rain becomes one of the problems of paving the road surface. aims to achieve the following: (1) to determine the Marshall strength of the optimum asphalt content (OAC) value in the porous asphalt mixture; and (2) to determine the effect of the use of marble stone fraction waste on the characteristics of porous asphalt mixtures. Research method uses experimental research in the laboratory. Research will be conducted using the Australian Asphalt Pavement Association (AAPA) 2004 approach method. Research was conducted with Pen 60/70 asphalt content of 4%, 4.5%, 5%, 5.5%, and 6% to find the optimum asphalt content value, then it will be added with a ratio of 0%, 15%, 25%, and 35% marble fraction waste material to the total OAC weight. Results of the analysis of the Marshall characteristics of the porous asphalt mixture with a variation of 25% marble content have met the specifications on the grounds that all parameters have met the requirements of the Australian Asphalt Pavement Association (AAPA 2004) with a VIM value at 25% content of 18.61%, for a VMA value of 50.60%, while for a stability value of 508 kg and for a flow value obtained of 2.57 mm while for an MQ value of 262.46 kg/mm.
