Abstract

The large number of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that make a significant contribution to gross domestic revenue shows that MSMEs have a very vital role in the Indonesian economy. However, tax revenues originating from MSMEs are still far from what they should be. Based on these conditions, this study aims to: (a) identify the determinants of income tax revenue from individual MSME taxpayers; (b) create a causal loop diagram on the determinants of income tax revenue from individual taxpayers of SMEs; (c) provide alternative strategies in the context of increasing state revenue from income taxes originating from individual taxpayers of MSME actors. To obtain the variables in order to build the model, literature studies and interviews were carried out, then the causal loop diagram (CLD) model was built using Vensim software. The results of the study indicate that in an effort to collect optimal state revenues, a strategy is needed that can balance the frequency of various internal programs at DGT, especially related to aspects of tax extensification, monitoring and socialization activities. Keywords: causal loop, income tax, individual, MSMEs, taxpayer

Abstract

One of the mine expansions that is expected to accelerate the production rate of PT Freeport Indonesia is the Deep Mill Level Zone (DMLZ) mine. The block caving mining method used at the DMLZ mine results in higher productivity levels at lower operating costs but requires ongoing equipment maintenance. This research aims to describe the factors and criteria that determine the production process, find a performance management model, and find the right strategic priorities to increase productivity at DMLZ mine. We analysed the condition of the maintenance management system at the DMLZ mine to find solutions and strategies so that equipment maintenance could be managed effectively. Sustainable Safe Production performance management is developed based on the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) approach combined with the Analytical Network Process (ANP), which is expected to determine the priority of solutions and strategies based on predetermined criteria and indicators. This performance management model considers six perspectives: finance, customers, production, safety, internal business processes, and learning and growth processes as benchmarks in measuring performance. We explained the determination of priority strategies that can be done to achieve three goals in sustainable safe production management: achieving production targets, safe and healthy mining processes, and achieving operational cost-effectiveness. Keywords: analytical network process (ANP), balanced scorecard (BSC), performance management, safe production, sustainable production

Abstract

This study aims to formulate the mission, objectives and strategy of operation or manufacturing for an automotive component factory that will produce a new product. The scope of this research is a case study at PT Inkoasku. Structured interviews were conducted with managers at PT Inkoasku related to customers and suppliers (external analysis) and quality, process, inventory, capacity, and supply chain (internal analysis). The questions are aimed at knowing the current external and internal operating conditions when only producing wheels and further needs when starting to produce disc’ as a new product. In addition to interviews, observations were also conducted on the operating system at PT Inkoasku. The results of external analysis show that the winner of orders from PT Inkoasku's operating system is price, while quality and delivery are order qualifications. Therefore, the operating strategies that can be applied include: choosing the type of batch process in running production, adding lean-six sigma in the quality system, automating the machine that will be used to produce disc’, optimizing the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) system and the min-max policy. in inventory management as well as mapping the procurement of goods and services and implementing Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) as a supply chain strategy. Abstract

PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) plans to build a new power generation facility in the face of production expansion, especially underground mine and mill optimization, which has an impact on increasing the demand for electricity up to 374.8 MW. The selection of the right type of power plant, will greatly determine the continuity of the electricity supply operation. There are many things to consider, making it difficult for companies to determine the type of new power plant. Therefore, this study aims to (1) determine the most important factors to consider in the construction of PTFI's new power plant; (2) provide recommendations for the choice of the best type of new power plant for PTFI. This study uses the method of literature review, expert interviews and questionnaires, which are processed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The results of the study indicate that conformity with the existing power generation facilities and support from government policies are the most important factors and sub-factors that must be considered by PTFI in the construction of new power plants in the Special Mining Business License (IUPK) area. The recommended type of new power plant is the Dual Fuel Power Plant (DFPP). Abstract

Performance of the laboratory in general is shown by the quality of the test results that have been carried out by the laboratory, this is determined by how the laboratory can produce test results data that are technically correct and accountable. This study aims to identify the effect of knowledge sharing as a factor in increasing the performance of the testing laboratory directly or indirectly through the implementation of the ISO/IEC 17025 standard and determine strategies to improve the performance of the testing laboratory Concentrating Division of PT Freeport Indonesia. Research data were collected from 73 respondents are employees who work actively in the laboratory. The research method uses Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results of this study indicate that the knowledge sharing factor does not have a direct and significant effect on laboratory performance but has a significant effect through the implementation of the ISO/IEC 17025 standard. In addition, laboratory performance is positively influenced by the implementation of technical requirements which is one of the clauses of the ISO/IEC 17025 standard. Abstract

An important factor that becomes a consideration for investors in purchasing bonds as an investment instrument is the bond yield. Bond yields are used to calculate how much income the investors will get in a certain period of time. The yield movement can be influenced by various factors. This study aims to analyze the effect of bond prices, BI rate, inflation, and exchange rates on medium-term (10 years) and long term (30 years) Indonesian government bond yields. Data used in this research were monthly time series data from January 2015 to December 2019. The time-series data were analyzed by VAR/VECM. The results of the study found that bond price had a significant negative effect on medium term and long term government bond yields. The interest rate had a significant positive effect on long term government bond yields and the exchange rate had a significant positive effect on medium term government bond yields. Inflation had no significant effect on medium and long term government bonds yields. The exchange rate made the greatest contribution to medium term government bond yield changes while long term government bond made the greatest contribution to bond prices.
