Abstract

An increase in passengers does not always accompany the rise in Garuda Indonesia's customer satisfaction index (CSI). However, even though the number of passengers decreased, income on scheduled airline service showed an increasing trend. On the other hand, this condition has no implications for increasing the company's profitability. This phenomenon is important to study because it will likely decline if it refers to the projection of the number of aircraft passengers in the following year. This problem will, of course, impact the financial condition of the airline company, so it is necessary to do several alternative strategies to overcome it. This study aims to analyze trend of CSI on Garuda Indonesia’s, determine the effect of customer satisfaction (CSI) on Garuda Indonesia's financial performance and formulate an alternative approach to improve the company's financial performance in the future. The results show that customer satisfaction harms financial performance through return on assets (ROA). Firm size is negative to moderate the relationship between CSI and ROA. Meanwhile, sales growth cannot moderate the relationship between CSI and ROA. An alternative strategy that the company can take to improve its financial performance is making efficient operating expenses, including operational flight expenses, ticket expenses, sales, promotions, and passenger service expenses. Abstract

In this study we investigate how training affects job performance. We propose the multiple mediator model as a mediating mechanism that transmits the positive effects of training on job performance. The aim of this study was to examine the degree of direct and indirect relationship between training and job performance, as well as to understand the mediating role of person job fit, learning from training and work engagement. The hypothesis was tested on a sample of 225 government officer using a regression test using Baron Kenny's Causal Step method. The results showed a direct relationship between training and performance. The results of the study found that person job fit and work engagement partially mediate the relationship between training and performance. The findings of this study provide useful information for policy makers to improve job fit and work engagement and performance through training. Abstract

The increase in an unnecessary caesarean section can endanger the mother, baby and also threaten the sustainability of the financing of the National Health Insurance (NHI) program. This study aims to identify critical issues surrounding managing consumer intentions to perform unnecessary caesarean sections and identify the role of stakeholders. Data collection was carried out through Focus Groups Discussion (FGD) with 14 experts and In-Depth Interviews (IDI) with 6 postpartum women. We transcribed interviews during the FGD and IDI into an interview text. The method of content analysis was carried out on the interview text. This study highlights the importance of managing the intention of the caesarean section in participants of the NHI and the importance of the three stakeholders, namely the role of the Ministry of Health, the role of BPJS Kesehatan, and the role of professional organizations. In particular, it is necessary to increase the role of doctors, midwives, and health workers through professional organizations together with the Ministry of Health and BPJS Health in managing the intention of caesarean section to educate pregnant women, especially primigravida women. In addition, the Ministry of Health needs to immediately establish guidelines for caesarean section services for medical indications, which are value for money guaranteed in the JKN program. Abstract

This research aims to find out the effect of transformational leadership and leader-member exchange on the job performance of employees in textile and garment manufacturing companies. This research is expected to be useful to inspire managers to prepare good steps and strategies to improve employee job performance and develop employees. The research was conducted on employees of textile and garment manufacture with a sample of 337 people. The research method uses regression test and analysis of the mediation of Baron and Kenny. The results of the study show that the job performance variable is not influenced by transformational leadership and is influenced by the leader-member exchange. The leader-member exchange variable is influenced by the transformational leadership variable. Work engagement variable is influenced by transformational leadership and not influenced by leader-member exchange. Work engagement mediating variable is as a mediator of transformational leadership relationship to job performance and not as a mediator of leader-member exchange relationship to job performance. Abstract

Taxation process was used to determine coffee production target at Jember District Own Company-Estate. Taxation was conducted to count the number of coffee beeds in one particular plant. However, the use of taxtion in recent years has shown less-accurate counting result. It did not include the factors influencing the coffee production, such as the climate. The objective of this research was to design an Information System for determining the coffee beeds production. This system was able to help in determining the entire coofee production. The system was supported by forecasting process through double exponential smoothing by using the production data of the last 5 years. Information System employs rule base in determining the suitability by using 8 parameters. The determination of coffee production, land suitability, and inserting 23 parameters of plant treatment were processed using rule based inference system. The results of this research revealed that system accuration level migth be reached when a company performed factual data input. There was a significant gap between the data which used double exponential smoothing and Information System output. It was found that the quetionnaire-filling process was critical and must be supported by accurate data. Experts suggested that coffee production might be made to maximum level by optimazing the factors to determine coffee production. Abstract

The importance of the role of farmers in the agribusiness system is not directly proportional to the welfare of the farmers themselves, this is because the bargaining power of farmers in the system is very low. If we look at the high capacity of rice production in Sambas Regency, it is hoped that it can be maximized by the implementation of agricultural digitization in this district, as well as being an example for the application of agricultural digitization in other districts. This study aims to to identify existing conditions that occur in agriculture in the Sambas Regency area, then analyze farmers' perceptions of agricultural digitization, and formulate a model for developing agricultural digitization to support farmers' self-reliance in Sambas. The scope of this research is only farmers in Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan as a contributor to 20% of food production, especially rice in West Kalimantan Province. This research includes causality research (cause and effect). The method used in this study is the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method and the analysis of the development of agricultural digitization models through the synthesis of SEM analysis and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) in order to advance the analysis. The results of the study describe farmers' perceptions, farmer characteristics, and the role of assistants farming has a significant influence on agricultural digitization, but for farmers' perceptions the effect is negative. Abstract

Human resources have a very important role in supporting the sustainability of a company or organization. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of work motivation, loyalty and quality of employees on employee performance at PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk, Noodle Division, Bekasi West Java Branch. Respondents in this study were 130 employees from a total population of 2620 employees who were divided into permanent employees and contract employees, spread several departments with a sampling technique using stratified random sampling. The data analysis used in this study includes descriptive analysis of respondents, multiple linear regression analysis and multivariate ANOVA test. The results showed that: 1) work motivation had a significant effect on employee performance. 2) Loyalty had a significant effect on employee performance. 3) Employee quality had a significant effect on employee performance. 4) Work motivation, loyalty and quality of employees together significant affect employee performance. 5) Contract employees have better work motivation, 6) permanent employees have loyalty, employee quality and better performance, it can be seen from how permanent employees are better able to analyze, assess, create and make decisions on problem-solving and are able to find solutions to a problem that is around. Abstract

Human resources have a strategic role, including in the South Lampung District Health Office. Preliminary research implies that the employee performance of the Office is still not optimal. This study aims to examine the influence of organizational culture on organizational commitment and employee performance at the South Lampung District Health Office, considering research on how to improve employee performance in public institutions is still limited. This study uses a survey method to collect the relevant data to the research objectives. The sample involved in the study were 97 employees who were randomly selected from a population of 128 employees. The data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling. The findings indicate that organizational culture has a significant positive effect on employee performance (β = 0.40; p <0.01), in addition to having a significant and positive effect on employee commitment (β = 0.22; p <0.05). . In addition, it was found that organizational commitment has a positive effect on employee performance (β = 0.28; p <0.05). The findings suggest the importance of the Office to build an organizational culture through four dimensions, namely competitive culture, entrepreneurial culture, bureaucratic culture, and consensual culture. This approach will strengthen affective commitment, ongoing commitment, and normative commitment. Abstract

Large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) are activities that limit the scope of buying and selling. PT XYZ can take advantage of this opportunity to acquire new customers. The high level of complaints can be the basis for improving the company's marketing strategy. This study aimed to identification factor-factor internal and external which can affect marketing XYZ, strategize and managerial implication for alternative strategy which been chosen. This research was conducted at PT XYZ for one month from the end of October 2020 to November 2020. The research method used was descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach to the research object. Sampling was determined purposively (purposive sampling). The analysis carried out was an analysis of internal and external environmental factors then analyzed using SWOT. The results of the study are factors that affect the internal logistics environment and external environmental factors are the bargaining power of suppliers and the threat of new entrants being important, Acquisition of partners and conducting incentive activities. Develop business with SO and ST strategy. This strategy is expected to be able to increase PT XYZ's consumers and simultaneously improve cooperative relationships with farmers. Abstract

Bank is an institution or business entity that has a big role in the financial system in the world, especially in Indonesia. The banking industry, which consists of government-owned banks and private banks with sharia and conventional systems, are mutually exclusive to survive the current tough competition. There have been various ways that have been done to attract attention to its customers. Bank XYZ realizes that the competition between companies is getting bigger, therefore the management of XYZ Bank issued a policy by building a new work unit. The operational sustainability of XYZ Bank in the Indonesian banking industry is closely related to the ability to maintain high competitiveness. Bank competitiveness can be reflected in the level of operational efficiency. This study uses secondary data from the XYZ Bank work unit and is analyzed by Data Envelopment Analysis. It is known that in the Bogor work unit, from the 17 times studied, 5 of them experienced inefficient conditions, while the Yogyakarta work unit was known to have 6 times that were inefficient.
