Abstract

Padi (Oryza Sativa) adalah satu tanaman yang banyak ditanam di Indonesia dan selama ini ditujukan untuk memperoleh beras, sedangkan produk yang lain seperti: sekam, dedak/bekatul, menir jerami I batang padi dianggap sebagai limbah. Hasil penggilingan padi gabah kering giling menghasilkan beras sebesar 60 — 66% sedangkan yang Iainnya berubah limbah adalah sekam, dedak/bekatul, menir. Salah satu limbah tersebut yang dapat dikembangkan untuk memperoleh nilai tambah adalah Sekam. Selama mi pemanfaatan sekam di Kabupaten Subang belum maksimal, masih terbatas pada bahan bakar dan campuran batu bata merah. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan nilal jual sekam rendah. Selanjutnya sekam yang belum termanfaatkan secara maksimal juga limbah dan tanaman, makanan dan industri merupakan persoalan bagi Indonesia. Persoalan utama, saat sekarang sulit diperoleh sekam segar secara terus menerus karena tanaman musiman. Masalah limbah baik Iimbah pertanian, limbah pangan maupun limbah industri masih merupakan hal yang cukup rumit di Indonesia. Kemudian dengan analisis MDS (Multi Dimensional Scaling) persoalan aplikasinya dapat berlanjut secara maksimum. Atas dasar beberapa pilihan pemanfaatan Sekam maka dengan AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) dapat ditentukan model kebijakan pengembangan minimalisasi sekam dikawasan sentra padi Kabupaten Subang, sebagai bahan bakar mesin pengering dalam industri padi. Kata kunci: pengembangan sekam, MDS, AHP

Abstract

Aim The mechanism of temu kunci tuber essential oil potential as antimicrobial agent has not been reported. To analyze the mechanism of antibacterial activity of temu kunci tuber essential oil from Yogyakarta on B.cereus. Antibacterial activity of essential oil were analyzed for its ability to disrupt bacterial cell membrane, that caused cell leakage and altered the morphology of the bacteria. Leakage was measured by analyzing the Ca+2, K+ ion outflow using an atomic adsorption spectrometry (AAS), and protein and nucleic acid using an ultraviolet spectrophotometer (UVS) on 280 nm and 260 nm respectively. Alterations in morphology were assessed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM).Results Minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of temu kunci essential oil on B.cereus was 0.12% (v/v). Treatment of B. cereus using 1MIC and 2MIC showed significant leakage compared to control (P<0.05). The K+ and Ca+2 ion leakage from the bacterial cells were between 10.32-35.57% and 15.05-41.54% respectively and showed significant difference compared to control (P<0.05). The absorbance observed by UVS for protein and nucleic acid leakage were 0.6330-0.8670 at 280 nm and 0.4320-0.8307 at 260 nm, respectively, and were significantly different compared to control (P<0.05). Exposure of 1 MIC temu kunci essential oil on B.cereus caused thickening as well as irregularities on the cell wall. At 2 MIC cells seemed transparent, empty looking and showed a ghost-like appearance.Conclusion Kaempheria pondurata essential oil could cause leakage and alter the morphology of the bacteria. Abstract

Bioplastik adalah plastik yang dapat didegradasi oleh mikroba yang ada di dalam tanah karena adanya kandungan pati di dalamnya. Bioplastik diharapkan merupakan salah satu solusi dari masalah lingkungan yang disebabkan oleh penumpukan sampah kantong plastik belanja yang menjadi beban lingkungan. Secara komersial sudah ada bioplastik yang diproduksi dengan variasi jumlah penambahan pati singkong atau pati jagung, namun kendalanya adalah harga produk masih mahal jika dibandingkan dengan harga kantong plastik konvensional pada umumnya, karena tepung dan pati tersebut masih dibutuhkan di sektor pangan dan energi. Pada penelitian ini bioplastik dibuat dengan menggunakan pati yang diekstraksi dari biji durian yang selama ini merupakan limbah, untuk dicampur dengan biji plastik LDPE pada variasi konsentrasi pati 0% sampai 50%. Sebagai pembanding dipakai pati dari empulur sagu, sehingga karakteristik fisik seperti warna dan sifat mekanik dari bioplastik seperti kekuatan tarik, perpanjangan putus, dan kekerasan dapat dibandingkan. Uji penurunan berat bioplastik dilakukan dengan pemendaman di dalam tanah selama 8 minggu. Hasil uji Anova menunjukkan perlakuan jenis pati dan konsentrasi pati yang ditambahkan tidak beda nyata (p>0,05) terhadap kehilangan berat plastik. Analisis SEM dilakukan untuk membandingkan rongga diantara molekul pati dengan polimer plastik pada perbesaran 2500x yang menyebabkan kekuatan mekanik plastik menjadi berkurang dan rapuh ketika ditarik. Pati biji durian 10% terbukti optimal dapat digunakan sebagai substitusi polimer tanpa penambahan aditif dalam pembuatan bioplastik, dengan karakteristik mekanik yang dapat dibandingkan dengan pati sagu dan pati singkong, namun memiliki laju degradasi yang lebih rendah.

Abstract

The aim of this experiment was to study the effect of soybean varieties (Glycine max var. Tidar and var. Galunggung) and the addition of eggs (0,2,4 and 6%)on egg tofu quality. The addition of egg before soymilk boiling gave the best result in which the protein content of the whey in the lowest.The product were analysed after 0,4 and 8 days of storage and was still in good condition after 8 days at 10-15 degree C.Phycal, chemical,microbiological and panel tset showed that the best result was obtained using tidar variety and less than 2 percent addition of egg.

Abstract

Penelitian pengaruh penambahan karaginan untuk formulasi tepung puding instan telah dilakukan. Percobaan yang dilakukan adalah penentuan perbandingan kappa dan iota karaginan (3:1, 2:1, 1:1, 1:2, 1:3) untuk formulasi pembuatan tepung puding instan dan formulasi tepung puding instan berdasarkan perbandingan kappa dan iota karaginan yang terpilih. Dari variasi percobaan yang digunakan, perbandingan kappa dan iota karaginan 1:1 merupakan perbandingan yang paling baik untuk digunakan dalam formulasi tepung puding instan karena memiliki kekuatan gel yang mendekati kekuatan gel puding komersial serta nilai sineresis yang terendah. Perbandingan konsentrasi karaginan, mocaf dekstrin dan KCl dalam formulasi tepung puding instan tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap kekuatan gel maupun karakteristik sensori kenampakan, aroma dan rasa dari puding instan yang dihasilkan. Namun demikian, formulasi tepung puding instan memberikan pengaruh yang nyata untuk karakteristik tekstur puding instan yang dihasilkan. Berdasarkan analisis fisik (kekuatan gel) dan sensori (kenampakan, aroma, tekstur, dan rasa) didapatkan perlakuan terbaik yaitu penggunaan karaginan 1,23%, perbandingan tepung mocaf-dekstrin 0,5 : 0,5 dan KCl 0,45 gram.

Abstract

The industrial cluster of dairy products Cipageran Cimahi is a joint organization of several groups engaged in animal husbandry, including dairy farmer groups and dairy processing groups that in carrying out its objectives the organization has not been able to run the business model effectively, so new strategies are needed to improve its business model . The objectives of the research are: (1) to mapping the initial condition of industrial cluster business model of Cipageran dairy products; (2) identifying internal and external factors; (3) to formulate development and improvement strategy in industrial clusters of Cipageran dairy products. The method of analysis in this study used a combination of Business Model Canvas (BMC) approach and the matrix of Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) in formulating the improvement strategy and business development of industrial cluster of Cipageran dairy products. The results of this study indicate that there should be improvement on each element in Cipageran dairy industry cluster business model. The improvement strategy includes: (1) Developing infrastructure and information technology network; (2) developing the human resources of the cow processing and breeder groups; (3) developing innovation culture by utilizing strong partnership, soul and mentality of high entrepreneurship and good quality according to applicable SOP; 4) to increase the economic value of the dairy cattle industry clusters in terms of leadership capability and legalization of contracts between processors, breeders and consumers.

Abstract

The competition of oil and gas industri in Indonesia is very tight. To get survive from the competition; the company has to develop their technology. Nowadays, technological advancement have salient roles in improving the company's business. PT Pertaminan Retail is a large oil and gas company in Indonesia. This study analyzed the design of e-commerce business development models from PT Pertamina Retail called MyPertamina. The method of the study is descriptive analysis and using business model canvas (BMC), the Delphi method, SWOT (Strenghts, weakness, opportunities, & threats), and the Blue Ocean Strategy. The datas in this study were secondary dan primary data. The secondary data obtained from the literature study and the primary data was by interviewing six informants. The research period starts from November to December 2018. The results of mapping the initial business model that used BMC, showed several aspects such as: customer segments, value propositions, channels, revenue streams, key resources, key activities, key partners, and costs structure. Environmental analysis used the Delphi method and the result was key trend value was 25.48%, industri strength was 25.19%, market strengths was 24.78%, and macroeconomic strengths was 24.55%. MyPertamina's internal environment influenced by product aspects, infrastructure management, customer interface, and financial aspect. The results of the SWOT analysis of nine BMC unsurts showed that the highest strength was the key partnership and the lowest strength was customer relationship. Meanwhile, the biggest opportunity was value proposition and the lowest opportunity was cost structure. The highest threat was customer segment, and the lowest threat was key partners. The business development model in this research focused on customer segment, key partnership, and value proposition, unsurts developed using the blue ocean strategy method.

Abstract

Limbah industri tapioka berasal dari proses pencucian dan proses ekstraksi yang kaya akan kandungan bahan organik seperti pati, serat protein, dan gula. Komponen limbah ini merupakan bagian sisa pati yang tidak terekstrak dan komponen selain pati yang terlarut dalam air. Salah satu upaya pemanfaatan gas hasil industri tapioka dapat digunakan sebagai sumber bioenergi. Pemanfaatan teknologi anaerobik dengan memberikan perlakuan tertentu terhadap limbah cair tapioka dapat meningkatkan produksi biogas dan kadar gas metan yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi status keberlanjutan biogas, mengetahui faktor eksternal dan internal biogas, dan memformulasi alternatif strategi keberlanjutan untuk menyokong implementasi biogas pada industri tapioka. Penentuan responden dilakukan secara purposive random sampling. Responden berasal dari divisi pemasaran, operasional, administrasi, keuangan, dan pakar pada bidang terkait dengan total 6 responden. Untuk memperoleh strategi terbaik, studi kasus pada perusahaan agroindustri tapioka di PD XYZ, Pesawaran, Lampung, menggabungkan analisis keberlanjutan, analisis SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats), dan analisis QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix). Untuk skala multidimensi, biogas memiliki status “cukup berkelanjutan” dan dengan analisis SWOT dan didapatkan delapan faktor internal dan delapan faktor eksternal. Strategi terbaik ialah menyusun kerangka konseptual terintegrasi dengan melibatkan seluruh stakeholders dalam pengembangan biogas.

Abstract

The increasingly intense competition in the business world at this time has made business actors must have "weapons" to serve as an advantage in winning the competition. The ability of business people to meet consumer expectations is needed to win the competition, so a marketing strategy is needed that is able to attract interest and inspire people to buy the goods or services produced by the company. PT Bukit Jaya Utama is a company engaged in the supply and service of heavy equipment. Heavy equipment or large equipment are capital goods with a relatively high investment value, widely used as production tools, usually in public works and mining operations. The objectives of the study are (1) to identify the position of PT Bukit Jaya Utama based on internal and external factors, (2) to find out the study of the development strategy in PT Bukit Jaya Utama's supply and spare parts service business, (3) to develop a development strategy for PT Bukit Jaya Utama. The location of this study was carried out at PT Bukit Jaya Utama, which is located at Vila Mutiara Lido Block D2 No. 32 (ROXY) Cigombong, Bogor 16740 West Java. The results of the Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) and External Factor Evaluation (EFE) Matrix and Internal External (IE) Matrix analysis obtained values of 2.651 and 2.482 respectively. Based on the combination of EFE and IFE values, an IE matrix is obtained, with the middle cell position (Growth/Stable). The SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats) shows the following strategies: (a) increasing productivity, (b) improving service, (c) increasing the efficiency of procurement of raw materials, (d) increasing sales volume with marketing effectiveness, (e) maintaining and maintaining product quality, (f) increasing cooperation with suppliers, (g) improving production technology and product quality, and (h) improving distribution channels. Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) analysis calculations produce three main strategies for PT Bukit Jaya Utama, namely (a) improving services, (b) improving production technology and product quality and (c) maintaining and maintaining the quality of the products produced.

Abstract

In recent years, the banking industry has experienced major challenges, namely unstable interest income. Banks need to consider alternative income outside of interest income. If the bank wants to maintain its profit level, the sources of income other than income from loan interest must be intensified through fee-based income. This study aims to determine the number of agents, CASA, jawara juragan agents, and BEP agents affecting BRILink financial transactions, financial transactions affecting BRILink fee-based income, and the implications of income receipts affected by BRILink fee-based income. This study uses secondary data with CASA variables, number of agents, jawara juragan agents, BEP agents, financial transactions, fee-based income (FBI), and income receipts. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), which was processed through Smart PLS 4.0. The results showed that from the CASA variables, the number of agents, jawara juragan agents, and the BEP agents, only the number of agents significantly influenced BRILink financial transactions. BRILink's financial transactions significantly affect BRILink's fee-based income. BRILink's fee-based income has a significant influence on income receipts.
