Abstract

The relationship between the depositor and the bank can be explained by the Agency perspective. Problems occur when bank as the depositary of fund depositors is not careful and at risk choosing the investments whether it is a decision to extend credit directly to the debtor or to choose distributing the funds to subsidiaries such as leasing subsidiary. The existence of the Agency problem raises Agency costs. This study aimed to analyze the Agency costs in the two types of banking i.e. the type of bank and type of banks that have leasing. Following this is to analyze the relationship between the Agency costs to the level of credit risk and profitability. The secondary data collection was obtained from the financial reports of banks and leasing with the purposive sampling technique so that the retrieved samples included the six banks and three leasing companies. Data analyses were carried out using the descriptive statistical analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS). The results showed that the Agency costs in the bank which has a subsidiary leasing are lower than those in the bank without a leasing subsidiary. Furthermore, the Agency costs have a significant influence on credit risk; Agency costs have no significant effect on profitability, while credit risk has a significant effect on profitability.Keywords: agency problem, agency costs, profitability, credit risk, partial least squareABSTRAKHubungan antara deposan dan bank dapat dijelaskan dengan perspektif keagenan. Masalah keagenan terjadi ketika bank sebagai penyimpan dana deposan memilih investasi yang tidak hati-hati dan beresiko, baik itu keputusan dalam menyalurkan kredit secara langsung ke debitur ataupun memilih menyalurkan dana ke anak perusahaannya seperti leasing. Adanya masalah keagenan menimbulkan biaya agensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis biaya agensi pada dua tipe perbankan yaitu tipe bank dan tipe bank yang memiliki leasing, selanjutnya menganalisis hubungan antara biaya agensi terhadap tingkat risiko kredit dan profitabilitas. Pengumpulan data sekunder penelitian diperoleh dari laporan keuangan bank dan leasing dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh sampel enam perbankan dan tiga perusahaan leasing. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif statistika dan analisis Structural Equation Modelling (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa biaya agensi pada bank yang memiliki anak perusahaan leasing lebih rendah jika dibandingkan dengan bank. Selanjutnya biaya agensi memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap risiko kredit, biaya agensi memiliki pengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap profitabilitas, sedangkan risiko kredit memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas.Kata kunci: keagenan, biaya agensi, profitabilitas, risiko kredit, partial least square

Abstract

PT. TD Automotive Compressor Indonesia (PT TACI) needs to analyze how much training and motivation factors affect its employee performance. The purposes of this study were to analyze the influence of training on the employee work motivation, analyze the influence of training on the employee performance, and analyze the influence of motivation on the performance of employees of PT. TACI. This research used SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). The results showed that training has a significant and positive influence on the employee work motivation. Furthermore, training has a significant and positive impact on employee performance. Conversely, work motivation has a significant and positive influence on the employee performance.Keywords: leader, training, motivation, employee performance, SEMABSTRAKPT. TD Automotive Compressor Indonesia (PT. TACI) perlu dilakukan untuk dapat menganalisis seberapa besar faktor pelatihan dan motivasi memengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh pelatihan terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan PT. TACI, menganalisis pengaruh pelatihan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. TACI, dan menganalisis pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. TACI. Penelitian ini menggunakan SEM (Structural Equation Modelling). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan berpengaruh significant dan positif terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan. Selanjutnya, pelatihan berpengaruh significant dan positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Abstract

The objectives of this study were to analyze the key success factors of the yogurt business and recommend strategies to increase brand loyalty and customer satisfaction at PT Yummy Food Utama. The method used in this research was descriptive analysis method with case study approach at PT Yummy Food Utama with descriptive analysis, PESTEL framework, and Porter’s five forces. The result of descriptive analysis shows that the key success factors of yogurt business at PT Yummy Food Utama in terms of the behavior of the importance of consuming yogurt, accessibility products, and acceptability of the products are understanding the benefits of consuming yogurt, brand loyalty and product quality while the result of PESTEL framework and Porter’s five forces shows the strategies that has to be done by PT Yummy Food Utama on brand loyalty and customer satisfaction are retaining and maintaining the quality of products, educating the public and delivering the benefits of the importance of consuming yogurt, increasing the popularity of the product through the promotion by using electronic media (television advertising), establishing communication with consumers, opening up a free hotline "24 hours 7 days" and reproducing the flavors of products.Keywords: yoghurt, key success factor, brand loyalty, customer satisfaction, PESTEL framework, Porter’s Five ForcesABSTRAKPenelitian in bertujuan menganalisis faktor kunci keberhasilan dari bisnis yogurt dan merumuskan strategi untuk meningkatkan brand loyalty dan customer satisfaction pada PT Yummy Food Utama. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dalam bentuk studi kasus pada PT Yummy Food Utama dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif, kerangka PESTEL dan Porter’s five forces. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan faktor-faktor kunci keberhasilan bisnis yogurt PT Yummy Food Utama ditinjau dari perilaku pentingnya mengkonsumsi yogurt, aksessibilitas produk dan akseptabilitas produk adalah pemahaman manfaat mengkonsumsi yogurt, brand loyalty dan kualitas produk. Sedangkan dari hasil analisis PESTEL dan Porter’s Five Forces menunjukkan strategi yang harus dilakukan oleh PT Yummy Food Utama dalam meningkatkan brand loyalty dan customer satisfaction antara lain: mempertahankan dan menjaga kualitas produk, mengedukasi masyarakat dan menyampaikan manfaat akan pentingnya mengkonsumsi yogurt, meningkatkan popularitas produk melalui media promosi elektronik (iklan di televisi), membangun komunikasi dengan konsumen, membuka hotline gratis “24 jam 7 hari” dan memperbanyak varian rasa produk.Kata kunci: yogurt, faktor kunci keberhasilan, brand loyalty, customer satisfaction, PESTEL, Porter’s five forces.

Abstract

Teladan Prima Group (TPG) as one of the palm oil plantations company have a strategic objectives in perspective of financial, customer, internal business processes, and learning and growth with the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC). The efforts to improve of high productivity of all resources that owned, are effectiveness managed with cost efficiency is the ultimate goal of company performance measurement. The problems occurred, management is confronted on the issues of the achievement of company performance targets that are not optimal and the strategic objectives of the company have not been cascaded down in a balanced way. The purpose of this research is to analyze of the strategic objectives and the implementation of BSC by using the technique of analysis of fourteen strategic objectives of the company in the four BSC perspectives with the integration of analytic network process (ANP). Results from the processing of primary data obtained through in-depth interviews and pairwise comparison of 7 respondents on the company executive level shows the results: financial perspective has the biggest weighting 42.21%, internal business process perspective 27.45%, customer perspective 16.29% growth and learning perspective 14.04% with consistency ratio (CR) 2.14% which means the respondent opinion is acceptable and consistent.Keywords: strategic objectives, balanced scorecard, ANP, oil palmAbstrak: Teladan Prima Group (TPG) sebagai salah satu perusahaan perkebunan kelapa sawit memiliki sasaran strategi dalam perspektif kinerja keuangan, pelanggan, proses bisnis internal dan pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan dengan penerapan Balanced Scorecard (BSC). Upaya peningkatan produktivitas sumberdaya yang dimiliki, dengan efektivitas pengelolaan dan efisiensi biaya merupakan tujuan akhir dari pengukuran kinerja perusahaan. Permasalahan yang terjadi, manajemen dihadapkan pada isu pencapaian target kinerja perusahaan yang belum optimum dan sasaran strategis perusahaan belum diturunkan secara seimbang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis sasaran strategis dan implementasi BSC dengan menggunakan teknik analisis terhadap 14 sasaran strategis perusahaan di dalam empat perspektif BSC dengan integrasi proses jejaring kerja analitik (ANP). Dari hasil pengolahan data primer yang diperoleh melalui wawancara secara mendalam dan kuesioner perbandingan berpasangan terhadap 7 responden level eksekutif perusahaan menunjukkan hasil: perspektif kinerja keuangan memiliki bobot terbesar 42,21%, kinerja proses bisnis internal 27,45%, kinerja pelanggan 16,29%, dan kinerja pertumbuhan dan pembelajaran SDM 14,04% dengan tingkat rasio inkonsistensi (CR) sebesar 2,14% yang berarti konsistensinya dapat diterima dan konsisten.Kata kunci: sasaran strategis, balanced scorecard, ANP, kelapa sawit

Abstract

Marketing tools known as the marketing mix, interacts with the brand equity in influencing consumer purchasing decisions. This study aims to analyze the level of marketing mix and brand equity and analyze the effect of the marketing mix with dimensions of brand equity. Presentation techniques and data analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Model (SEM). Research using depth interview technique. The experiment was conducted in West Java province with the number of respondents 137 vegetable farmers. Research shows that the product and the price has no effect on all dimensions of brand equity. Meanwhile, marketing channels and promotion effect on perceived quality, each with a loading factor of 0.516 and 0.715. Brand awareness and brand association has no effect on the decision. Only perceived quality influence on purchase decisions with a value of loading factor of 0.516. The study concluded that, perceived quality influences purchase decisions. Channel marketing and promotion affect perceived quality.Keywords: brand equity, distribution channel, marketing mix, perceived quality, purchasing decision, SEMAbstrak: Instrumen pemasaran yang dikenal sebagai bauran pemasaran (marketing mix), saling berhubungan dengan ekuitas merek dalam memengaruhi keputusan pembelian konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh bauran pemasaran dengan dimensi ekuitas merek dan menganalisis pengaruh ekuitas merek dengan keputusan pembelian. Teknik penyajian dan analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis Struktural Equation Model (SEM). Penelitian menggunakan teknik interview mendalam dilaksanakan di propinsi Jawa Barat dengan jumlah responden 137 orang petani sayuran. Produk dan harga tidak berpengaruh terhadap semua dimensi ekuitas merek. Penelitian menunjukan bahwa saluran pemasaran dan promosi berpengaruh terhadap perceived quality, masing-masing dengan loading faktor 0,516 dan 0,715. Brand awareness dan brand association tidak berpengaruh terhadap keputusan. Hanya perceived quality berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian dengan nilai loading faktor 0,516. Penelitian disimpulkan bahwa, perceived quality memengaruhi keputusan pembelian. Abstract

The purpose of this study are 1) to identify the internal and external factors that influence development strategy of beef cattle business, 2) to make the alternative strategy, and 3) to make priority of strategy for development of beef cattle business in of PD. Kampung 99 Pepohonan. This study uses IFE and EFE Matrix, analysis SWOT matrix and QSPM. Respondens for this study are 10 persons that are 5 internal respondes, and 5 external respondes. To Determine of priority strategy,this study uses IFE and EFE matrix, SWOT matrix and QSPM analysis. The main priority strategy development strategy that can be implemented is increase cattle quality with serve the optimum feed for the cow with get enough on recovery time. The next priority strategy is to submitted decrease loan interest in working capital of the bank, multiplied of line distribution between home beef cattle and feedlot and revitalitation between home beef cattle as the place of meat proceccing to filled the market needed.Keywords: beef cattle, PD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meningkatkan kualitas potongan daging sapi dengan menyediakan pakan yang optimal serta masa recovery yang cukup sebelum dilaksanakannya pemotongan sapi. Untuk strategi prioritas selanjutnya adalah dengan mengajukan penurunan bunga pinjaman modal kerja dari bank, memperbanyak saluran distribusi antar rumah potong hewan (RPH) dan Feedloot dan revitalisasi RPH sebagai tempat meat proceccing untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pasar.Kata kunci: pemotongan sapi, PD. Abstract

Bogor Agricultural University supporting staff (known as tenaga kependidikan or tendik) is one of the Human Resources (HR) that have a strategic role in providing excellent services to the students and lectures. Therefore they need to have an adequate competence. Objective of this research is (1) analyze the influence of work motivation toward job satisfaction of supporting staff, (2) analyze the influence of work climate toward job satisfaction of supporting staff and, (3) analyze the influence job satisfaction toward of supporting staff’s performance in Bogor Agricultural University. Based on SEM-PLS analysis, it was known that work motivation and work climate significantly affected job satisfaction. Furthermore, job satisfaction significantly affected by the supporting staff performance in Bogor Agricultural University. In addition, R-Square value for job satisfaction was 0.458. It means that work motivation and work climate has contributed positively to the satisfaction as much as 45.8%, and the rest 54.2% was influenced by other factors. Furthermore, R-Square value for Supporting staff performan was 0.028. it means that supporting staff performance was positively influenced by job satisfaction as much as 2.8%, and the rest 97.2% was influenced by other factors.Keywords: climate, supporting staff, work motivation, supporting staff, SEMAbstrak: Tenaga Kependidikan (Tendik) Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) sebagai salah satu Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang memiliki peran strategik dalam memberikan pelayanan, baik kepada mahasiswa maupun dosen perlu memiliki kompetensi memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) menganalisis pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja Tendik, (2) menganalisis pengaruh iklim kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja Tendik, dan (3) menganalisis pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja Tendik IPB. Berdasarkan analisis SEM-PLS, diketahui bahwa motivasi kerja dan iklim berpengaruh nyata terhadap kepuasan kerja Tendik IPB, kepuasan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja Tendik. Nilai R-Square untuk kepuasan adalah 0,458. Artinya, motivasi kerja dan iklim kerja mempunyai kontribusi positif terhadap kepuasan 45,8 % dan 54,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Selanjutnya, nilai R-Square untuk kinerja Tendik IPB adalah 0,028. Artinya, kinerja Tendik IPB dipengaruhi secara positif oleh kepuasan kerja sebesar 2,8% dan 97,2 % dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.Kata kunci: iklim kerja, kepuasan kerja, motivasi kerja, tenaga kependidikan, SEM

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development strategy of PT ABC Niaga in gas distribution industry. This study uses IFE and EFE Matrix, analysis SWOT matrix and QSPM. Prior to the analysis of the development of the strategy, first performed project feasibility analysis in the development plans of the city gas network from the aspects of company expenditure using capital budgeting. Then analyzed factors internal and external affecting business performance, SWOT analysis and formulated alternatives for the development of business strategies and their order of priority using QSPM. Analysis of internal and external factors each have a score of 2,541 and 3,261. QSPM matrix analysis shows that the strategy of "aggressive market penetration by expanding city gas area into potential region with high commercial activities" has the highest TAS value 10.943.Keywords: gas distribution industry, IFE, EFE, SWOT, QSPMAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengembangan strategi PT ABC Niaga di industri distribusi gas. Penelitian ini menggunakan Matriks IFE dan EFE, analisis SWOT, dan QSPM. Sebelum dilakukan analisis pengembangan strategi, terlebih dahulu dilakukan analisis kelayakan proyek dalam rencana pengembangan jaringan gas kota dari aspek pembelanjaan perusahaan dengan menggunakan metode capital budgeting. Selanjutnya dianalisis faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal yang memengaruhi kinerja bisnis dengan analisis SWOT dan dirumuskan alternatif-alternatif strategi untuk pengembangan bisnis beserta urutan prioritasnya dengan menggunakan metode QSPM. Analisis faktor internal dan eksternal masing-masing memiliki skor 2,541 dan 3,261. Analisis matriks QSPM menunjukkan bahwa strategi "penetrasi pasar secara agresif dengan memperluas area gas kota di wilayah yang potensial dengan aktivitas komersial yang tinggi" memiliki nilai TAS tertinggi 10.943.Kata kunci: industri distribusi gas, IFE, EFE, SWOT, QSPM

Abstract

Changes in macro Economic factors will increase or decrease systematic risk potentially. Systematic risk is measured using beta (β) of a security to the market risk. Beta value can be used as a tool to predict the level of risk of certain conditions on the market as a result of changes in Economic conditions. This study aims to determine the impact of shocks in macroEconomic variables against beta sectoral indices in Indonesia Stock Exchange. MacroEconomic variables used were fed rate, Dow Jones Indexes, inflation, industrial production Index (IPI), exchange rate (Rate), oil price and interest rate (SBI). The method used is the analysis of VAR / VECM using impulse response (IRF) and forecast Error variance decomposition (FEVD) in the period of 2001–2015. The results showed that stock Index of agriculture and mining sector has an aggressive stock because it has an average beta value >1, Property and Real Estate were sector with defensive stock characteristics because it has an average beta < 1. MacroEconomic variables which has the most influence on beta of sectoral Indexes are inflation, interest rates and oil price. Beta of sectoral agricultural, various industry, consumer goods and finance were the most affected by macroEconomic shock variables. Risiko sistematis diukur dengan menggunakan beta (β) pasar, yaitu beta dari suatu sekuritas terhadap risiko pasar. Nilai beta dapat digunakan sebagai alat untuk memprediksi tingkat risiko terhadap kondisi tertentu pada pasar akibat dari perubahan kondisi ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak guncangan variabel makroekonomi terhadap beta indeks sektoral di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Variabel makroekonomi yang digunakan adalah fed rate, dow jones, inflasi, indeks produksi industri (IPI), nilai tukar (KURS), oil price dan tingkat suku bunga (SBI). Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis VAR/ VECM menggunakan impulse response (IRF) dan (FEVD) pada periode 2001–2015. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan saham pada sektor pertanian dan pertambangan merupakan saham yang agresif karena memiliki nilai rata-rata beta >1, Properti dan Real Estate merupakan sektor yang memiliki karakter saham defensif karena memiliki beta rata-rata <1. Variabel makroekonomi yang paling berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan risiko/nilai beta adalah inflasi, suku bunga dan oil price. Beta indeks sektoral yang paling terpengaruh oleh guncangan variabel makroekonomi adalah beta sektor pertanian, aneka industri, barang konsumsi dan keuangan.Kata kunci: beta, indeks saham sektoral, variabel makroekonomi, impulse response function, FEVD
