Abstract

One of the goals of the National Development is community empowerment programs.  Mojokerto Government has made the empowerment program, known as the Local Economic Development Women's Empowerment (P3EL).  This program was to empower women to increase their  income. They came from the P3EL group who produced cakes / snacks / local bakery. The objectives of this program: 1) supplying proofer tool, a tool to expand the dough and biscuit maker tool of 6 (six) furnaces. 2) Mentoring the ability to manage the business, making media marketing, in term of banner. The applied method consisted of identifying the crucial issues to settle immediately including the energy efficient, time and cost; conducting training and assisting on business development management and simple bookkeeping; conducting training  on marketing techniques and strategies; creating marketing media in the form of banners. The results and implications were  2 proofer machine, 1 mold tool 6 furnaces and banner have been handed over to the SMEs; business management training. The implication of the program was that there was an increase in productivity of SMEs and understanding and having knowledge in business management and business management.Keyword: Empowerment, Women, Improvement, Income, Family

Abstract

Pacitan precisely in Krajan Wonodadi Kulon Ngadirojo, geographically wide area 891.88 ha, the majority of the land in the form tegal / fields covering an area of 420.53 ha. Potential in Agricultural Sector became the leading commodity contribute greatly to the economic development, both directly the raw material used and processed through a management process of making a cake. Commodity raw materials from the agricultural sector are: Clove, Coconut, Cassava, Banana, Bluebird, Melinjo, and Tuber (Sweet), who plays prop improve household incomes and expanding employment opportunities are raw materials tubers (Potato) processed form : Cakes (Brownies, Nugghets). Given the great desire of the group Partners Household Small Business to supplement the family income, then Program (IbM) wants to realize by means of procurement (TTG) in the form of machines and provide a wide range of training business groups cakes made from local plants Bulbs - tubers (Potato). Procurement of Appropriate Technology (TTG) in the form of machine is very helpful for a smooth production process from traditional to technology moderan, while by getting the various training areas of management will broaden pengetahuanya Partners Small Business, towards the preparation of implementing entrepreneurship in the management of baking brownies and cakes Nugghets based tubers (Potato). Abstract

If during the two partners just sell fabrics, it should be developed to sell in some form of hand made products. It is made from batik, all of which can be categorized as a souvenir. Batik in the form of souvenirs still has its own market share, that is the purpose of domestic tourists, foreign tourists as well as for celebrations such as weddings. The next obstacle is related to the production of a narrow space. Ideally batik production has space sized sufficiently broad and flexible to produce it. But in both partners, it is very narrow production space. Production stages are still allows for optimized drying stages using a drying design of effective and efficient, so it can be argued that the drying apparatus in accordance with the terms intensive. However, the increasing production to be followed without by having the expansion of space / area. In addition, to design those things need to be considered in making the selection of material drying apparatus. Because when using the metal material will result corrosion process. The next obstacle was until recently run marketing is conventional marketing that relied on information 'word of mouth' is through the information passed from neighbor to relatives or friends, or just by using the card. Consumers are loyal employees, teachers and the general public who want batik for uniforms purposes. The resulting agreement between the partners and the proposer of activities in an attempt to overcome the problems that arise in the partner. The activities are doing the training and mentoring the design and manufacture of souvenirs made from batik, as well as the drying equipmemt needed to support the improvement of the production process. Abstract

The village of Kejawan Putih Tambak, district of Mulyorejo, Surabaya is a coastal area. The majority of residents’s  condition in the village below the standard of living. Finally, a woman named Sita Pramesthi, planted markisa fruit and then processing into refined products that are markisa fruit juice, jam, porridge, and syrup. Among other, markisa syrup which is routinely produced because the market is better than others. This is why many people also planted markisa fruit in their yards. Currently in the villageof Kejawan Putih Tambak there have been five neighborhood association grow markisa fruit with a total of about 70 households. Therefore, in the urban village on February 2009 established the  markisa fruit farmers association named “Kelompok Tani Agro Madina”. But unfortunately the expectation to impove  walfare of  the society around  can not be expected because the syrup product is stale faster. For that reason, the IbM  team of Untag Surabaya proposes to conduct training on the manufacture and procurement of markisa syrup that are syrup mixing machine, instrument sterilizer product already packaged, and the tools  to cover a bottle of syrup. After getting a good training  and a set of  machine to make a good syrup product, there is a positive effect that  demand is increasing. Success of this effort, the income resident’s of  Kejawan Putih Tambak is increasing.Through markisa syrup “Kelompok Tani Agro Madina” received an award from The Mayor of  Surabaya that is Mrs Tri Risma Harini in commemoration of Surabaya City to 721 in 2014 and the area of Kejawan Putih Tambak confirmed as “ Kampung Markisa”.Keywords : markisa fruit, markisa fruit syrup.

Abstract

The Performance of Batik Enterprise Development Policies in SidoarjoBatik is one of the Indonesia characteristics and cultural heritages.  It is the Government’s responsibility to develop batik in accordance with the local characteristics of each region. At the same time, it is the opportunity for the batik producers around the archipelago to utilize the moment. The purpose of these activities are: the procurement of printing equipment and a table cap in accordance with the desired design pattern; skills training using the tool, with the direct learning methods applied; training and helping for business management and simple bookkeeping; assisting the marketing process through training techniques and marketing strategy; making the media marketing. The applied methods are: identifying the problem and needed equipment, such as: a molding tool/ stamp, tasting table for batik, stove to the tasting table, printer wok batik; skills training in using the tools, forming the simple bookkeeping, making media marketing. The taken approach is a direct method of learning and working with participatory methods. Results and implications: the procurement of 4 printing tools following the pattern of SMEs, provision of 2 sets consisting of: Tables stove, printer wok, gas stove, regulator, gas hose, 12 Kg LPG Tube, a marketing tool. They have been handed over to the SMEs. It had been done the technical training activities and business management training and simple bookkeeping.  The existence of tools increase the number of batik production more than ever.Keyword: conservation, creativity, productivity, motif, batik

Abstract

Trowulan is one of the tourist areas of history that have excellent potential in Mojokerto regency. As relics of the kingdom Mojopahit area, potentially Tourism Trowulan visited by domestic tourists and international tourists. People living in tourist areas generally work as traders in both the small-scale micro-scale mauun engaged in the provision of a small meal as food supplement for the tourists also partly used as souvenirs. among small food businesses in this area are small businesses owned Sofuan father and Mr. Fahturozy in the village Trowulan, Trowuln districts in Mojokerto. Small enterprises salted peanuts belong to Mr. Sofyan established since 2000, and until now only able to produce as much as 15 kg of salted peanuts per day to be done by 3 people. An average ability in the epidermis peeling beans in a day not more than 5 kg. The same was experienced by small businesses owned by Mr. Muhammad Fahturozy established since 2002 and is only able to produce about 9 kg of salted peanuts per day worked 2 workers. Information from both these business owners, the actual demand for salted peanuts very much but can not meet because of limited manpower and costs for peeling the the cuticle nuts.Based on that information we try to provide a way out by trying to use a peeler peanut the cuticle so that the amount of production can be increased. IbM 2015 through this program can be realized both small businesses desire the salted peanuts. Peeler the cuticle beans that have been tested turned out to show a significant result is a tool that are received by the father and the father of Muhammad Fahturozy Sofuan can produce 19-20 kg/ h with the percentage of broken nuts ± 5%. New problems that occurred with increasing the ability of the cuticle peeling is the lack of means of frying beans so the beans peeled produced can not immediately fried. It was found to affect the quality of the peanuts produced. With the desire and high spirits of both small businessmen salted peanuts on the quality of their products, they are willing to pay to add frying pan so that the quality of salted peanuts produced is maintained. Increasing the number of salted peanut production is certainly an impact on the marketing of the bean. The solution we provide to overcome the problems of marketing is to provide guidance and assistance in an effort to increase the number and expand the marketing area. Guidance we have done is to give a tutorial on how to market the salted peanuts and how to get new customers. The results of the guidance is the addition of marketing area that was originally only in the area of Mojokerto, now began to be marketed in Jombang, Sidoarjo and Gresik. The second desire of small entrepreneurs salted peanuts to be able to market their products in the mini market and super market while it is still constrained in handling brand and IRT permits are still sought. Besides problems IRT licenses and brands that are still in the maintenance effort, there is still another problem that needs to be thought of looking for a way out is the speed of packaging and packaging quality to make it look more attractive in addition to maintaining a stable taste quality.Keywords: Small enterprises Salted peanuts, IbM Partners, Parer the porters epidermis beans

Abstract

At the current state of nature that terexploitasi resulting in damage them in mountainous areas prone to landslides and flooding, it requires the existence of early warning against the dangers that threaten and cause substantial losses to society. Landslide is sometimes difficult to detect, ground movement can not always be monitored because it requires the development of an early warning system landslides that can provide early warning of distance. Design and manufacture of early warning against the danger of landslides is necessary, for the detection system landslide hazard consisting of a sensor monitoring the movement of land, processor (microcontroller), and modem sabagai sender sms (short message service) to the mobile number designated or interested provide guidance to the people affected in the landslide.Keywords: landslide detection, microcontroller, modem

Abstract

This service community program was being carried out in the center of Bakpia industry at Gempol district in Pasuruan city namely SME bakpia cake “Barokah Jaya” and SME bakpia cake “Berlian”. Lately, this business has been running well but is not optimal. One of the identified problem is that the production process was done manually and consuming time so that the processing becomes less efficient. The condition is leading the partners can not meet consumer demand. The purpose of this program is to assist these home industries in an effort to increase productivity with the aid of a stirrer machine which is expected to improve the productivity and profitability of the business. The assisting method was performed by conditioning the object. There were 2 kinds of program implementation, management training and giving a stirrer machine for materials processing. Training is done in the field of management, that is finance, marketing and entrepreneurship as well as manufacturing. The stirrer machine is aimed to change the manual production process into mechanical production process. The assistance program turns out to be very helpfull in improving the efficiency of time in the processing of raw materials. They can now improve the product quantity significantly. The management training is also creating some beneficials. The product becomes more hygenics,the packaging is more interesting and the market is enhancing, the demand is increasing and even they are now keeping the business record administratively.Keyword: Productivity. Abstract

Fuel oil and coal are formed from fossil utilized as the primary energy source power plants owned by the state electricity company where its presence increasingly depleted. As an energy that can not be renewed will make the higher resale value, so that the necessary studies and research in renewable energy as a source of electrical energy from solar energy one. The use of renewable energy is an alternative to reduce energy demand and optimizing to PLN natural potential. Solar cells are a technology that converts sunlight into electrical energy. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of the light intensity output power at a solar cell panel. This research method is the measurement of the intensity of the sun in a real and measuring the output power of solar cell panels that, as for the materials used are lumen meter is used to measure the intensity of sunlight, the multimeter is used for measuring voltage and current, battery charge regulator with a capacity of 10 A, Panel cell with a capacity of 50 Wp solar and battery 65 Ah. Tests conducted for 6 days, each day of testing starting at 6:00 to 18:00. The results showed that the light intensity is highest between the hours of 11:00 to 13:00 with the value of the light intensity of 98,000 lux - 116 200 lux, while the power output of solar cells with a high of 14.80 watts of light intensity measured 116 200 lux.Keywords: solar cells; light intensity; output power; renewable energy

Abstract

Publication becomes a very important thing in introducing or promoting thepotential of an area of any kind, be it the potential of human resources and thepotential of natural resources. In the era of Internet technology that has notprogressed as it is today, the first publication into an expensive thing to do, becausein publishing an information can only through newspapers and television, but withadvances in information technology, especially the internet makes anyone can publishany information very Easy and with very low cost too, especially with the developmentof social media. Social media is defined as an online medium where its users can easilyparticipate. Participate in the sense that someone will easily share information, createcontent or content to be conveyed to others, comment on inputs received and so on.All can be done quickly and unlimited (Utari: 2011). In the development of social media today almost all of the majority alreadyhave accounts in social media, but in reality majority social media users are still notaware to utilize social media for positive things. It is certainly less useful in the use ofsocial media. Yet when viewed more deeply about the use of social media, manyentrepreneurs who really use social media as a suggestion of their business promotion,whether it is business in the field of culinary, fashion, IT to tourism.
