Abstract

Tujuan pembuatan alat ini adalah untuk mendapatkan rancang bangun hardware, program perangkat lunak dan unjuk kerja Sistem tekanan mekanik berbasis mikrokontroler AT-Mega 16 untuk pembuat kerupuk pelompong guna menunjang proses produksi home Industry Barokah di Tuban Jawa Timur.Pembuatan sistem tekanan mekanik berbasis mikrokontroler AT-Mega 16 terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu identifikasi kebutuhan, analisa kebutuhan, blok diagram sistem, perancangan sistem, langkah pembuatan alat, diagram alir program, pengujian alat dan pengambilan data. Pembuatan frame menggunakan besi jenis tabung, siku dan kanal C. Alat ini menggunakan komponen sistem minimum Atmega16, driver motor BTS7960 sebagai pengatur putaran dan kecepatan motor, dongkrak mekanik yang sudah di modifikasi dengan motor  DC digunakan sebagai penggerak  untuk menekan adonan kerupuk, LCD Displays 16x2 sebagai media penampil yang terdapat perintah kecepatan yang diinginkan, push button berfungsi sebagai pemberi masukan data yang akan diolah pada kontroler ATmega16 lalu akan menggerakan putaran motor DC. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang sudah dilakukan, diperoleh hasil bahwa sistem tekanan mekanik berbasis mikrokontroler AT-Mega 16 berfungsi dengan baik dan sesuai dengan  kondisi di home industry Barokah, keunggulan sistem ini cukup 1 orang untuk mencetak (membuat) kerupuk pelompong, dibandingnkan dengan alat tradisional yang ada di home industry Barokah  untuk mencetak perlu 2 orang untuk mengerjakan, secara efesiensi waktu sistem tekanan mekanik ini lebih cepat dengan selisih rata-rata 3 menit untuk menyelesaikan cetakan per tabung adonan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the impact of implementing a Learning Management System (LMS) "˜TES Teach' on students' learning experiences in a computer-assisted language learning (CALL) course with flipped-class instruction. For the data collection procedure, an individual interview with ten undergraduate students from an Indonesian college was conducted to demonstrate the potential impacts of the LMS in students' meaningful learning activities. The observation of students' learning activities on the LMS was also recorded to support the interview data. The LMS was adopted to distribute and receive information, thus, the students were able to monitor learning activities, learn the contents before coming to class, evaluate learning process, and interact with others outside of class hours. The finding of this study suggests that the LMS TES Teach is recommended to be performed in teaching CALL for higher education in Indonesia. It offers students' occasion to practice and enhances their listening, writing, reading and vocabulary skills in and out-of-class times. It also prepares students to get ready for classroom activities in term of conversations and speaking skills. The further use of the LMSs should become often-visited sites by students for learning activities and replaced other non-educational favorite websites. Finally, this study recommends that the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher education or policymakers in Indonesia, including instructors, students, and community members, must be actively involved in developing, supporting, and maintaining a transformed learning culture, from being traditional to a technology-based learning environment.

Abstract

The problem that often occurs in making compost is the level of fertilizer maturity that is not perfect. This is caused by humidity and temperature in the unstable manufacturing process. This article aims to develop a system capable of controlling temperature and humidity as well as monitor changes in the process of compost decomposition wirelessly and describe the results of testing the system. This research uses a development method with several stages, namely: problem identification and needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The results show that: (1) a temperature and humidity monitoring system is realized to monitor and regulate the process of making IoT-based compost by utilizing DHT-22 sensor input as a temperature and humidity detector and sensor to detect the pH content of compost processed using Wemos D1 mini. Output data that has been obtained will be sent to the Android smartphone application and in the form of a relay that will activate the heater and cooler as a temperature stabilizer; and (2) the test results show that performance is appropriate, which by manual means has the advantages of: (a) more efficient 2 to 4 weeks; and (b) has automatic and manual control.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penulisan paper ini untuk menganalisis Competitive Force yang di hadapi oleh Kulina dan Competitive Strategy apakah yang dilakukan Kulina dalam mengatasi adanya competitive forces dalam menjalankan bisnisnya. Penulisan paper ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis Sistem Informasi Kulina dengan menggunakan Model Porter. Michael A. Porter menjelaskan lima kekuatan (five forces module) sebagai alat untuk menganalisis lingkungan persaingan industri. Keadaan persaingan perusahaan dalam suatu industri tergantung pada lima kekuatan persaingan dasar yaitu : Rivalry of Competitors, Threat of New Entrants, Threat of substitutes, Bargaining Power of Customers, dan Bargaining Power of Suppliers. Michael A. Porter juga menjelaskan 5 jenis strategi kompetitif, yaitu: Cost Leadership, Differentiation, Innovation, Growth dan Alliance. Hasil analisis ini berupa pernyataan yang menilai keunggulan dan kelemahan sistem informasi yang digunakan perusahaan dalam menghadapi Competitive Force dan Competitive Strategi yang digunakan perusahaan dalam menghadapi pesaingan. Hasilnya dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Terdapat beberapa Competitive force yang dihadapi oleh perusahaan Kulina dalam menjalankan bisnisnya yaitu (a). Rivalry of Competitors yaitu diantaranya Berry Kitchen, Go-Food, Klik-Eat, Food Panda dan Raja Makan. (b) Threat of New Entrants yaitu diantaranya Greenapronmeal, Owl-Kitchen dan Makan diantar. (c) Threat of substitutes yaitu ssistem informasi kuliner khas dari masing-masing daerah. (d) Bargaining Power of Customers yaitu harga makanan yang terjangkau dan pengiriman yang tepat waktu, dan (e) Bargaining Power of Suppliers yaitu home-chef, restoran dan para pengusaha Catering. Dimana ancaman besar dalam bisnis ini yaitu Rivalry of Competitors, Threat of New Entrants, Bargaining Power of Customers dan Threat of substitutes. Karena banyaknya startup dan developer yang memberikan inovasi baru dalam menciptakan sistem informasi yang tidak kalah baik dalam bisnis kuliner. (2) Strategi kompetitif yang dilakukan Kulina guna menghadapi persaingan dalam bisnis kuliner antara lain yaitu : Beberapa strategi kompetitif yang paling menonjol diterapkan dalam ssistem informasi Kulina, yaitu : Strategi Cost Leadership yaitu dengan memberikan banyak diskon dan potongan harga dalam bentuk voucher, Differentiation yaitu Kulina menyediakan berbagai pilihan paket menu, diantaranya paket hemat, paket diet, paket ekonomis dan kulina juga memberikan garansi penuh. Innovation yaitu Kulina sebagai marketplace antara chef-home, pengusaha sistemg dan restoran dan memberikan innovasi dalam meal-plan dimana user dapat merencanakan menu makan dan program diet untuk beberapa hari kedepan. Dalam Hal ini strategi Alliance dan Growh masih belum terlihat karena Kulina baru menjalani bisnisnya selama dua tahun.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menerapkan data mining pada prediksi harga CPO (Crude Palm Oil) dengan membandingkan pemodelan optimasi seleksi fitur algoritma genetika dan algoritma greedy pada metode neural network (NN). Prediksi harga CPO dilakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan investor kelapa sawit, melalui analisa masalah fluktuasi harga CPO time series yang tidak pasti. Guna mempermudah dalam melakukan perhitungan, langkah-langkah dari algoritma Genetika dan algoritma Greedy diimplementasikan dengan program komputer Rapid Miner Studio. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui perbandingan akurasi dengan parameter evaluasi RMSE yang dihasilkan dan waktu eksekusi program yang dibutuhkan oleh algoritma Genetika dan algoritma Greedy dalam menyelesaikan masalah prediksi harga CPO. Hasil pengujian akurasi menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode NN optimasi algoritma Genetika secara umum memberikan nilai RMSE yang lebih baik (0,096) dibandingkan algoritma Greedy-forward selection (0,111) dan algoritma Greedy-backward selection (0,101). Akan tetapi jika ditinjau dari waktu eksekusi program yang dibutuhkan dalam menyelesaikan masalah prediksi harga CPO, maka algoritma Genetika membutuhkan waktu yang lebih lama dari pada algoritma Greedy.Kata Kunci: algoritma Genetika, algoritma Greedy, neural network, prediksi harga CPO, time series.

Abstract

Temperature and humidity have an important role in the cultivation of oyster mushrooms to obtain optimal growth of oyster mushrooms. The optimum temperature required ranges from 24 ° C - 27 ° C and 80% - 90% humidity. The watering of mushroom kumbung should be done regularly, in order to maintain the temperature and humidity of the surrounding air, then conducted research that aims to create a tool that can regulate the temperature and humidity kumbung mushrooms automatically to facilitate farmers keep the temperature and humidity stability continuously. This automatic adjustment system uses DHT-11 sensors as air and humidity and arduino uno gauges as tool controls. Tests conducted for 7 days with data collection in the morning at 06:00 AM, noon at 12:00 PM and afternoon at 4:00 PM. The test results prove that this system of temperature and humidity regulator can keep the stability of room temperature and humidity with an average 25°C of room temperature and 60% of humidity with set point temperature at 27°C and 55% of humidity.

Abstract

The mapping of research topics for lecturers is necessary to determine the research tendencies in a department or study program. This study aims to implement topic modeling in the publication titles of the Department of Electronics and Informatics Education Engineering of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (JPTEI UNY) lecturers taken from Google Scholar. The method used for topic modeling is the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA). LDA is a generative probabilistic model for finding the semantic structure of a corpus collection based on the hierarchical bayesian analysis. After the topic modeling process, the results showed that JPTEI UNY lecturers tend to have four research clusters consisting of vocational education, system development, learning media, and vocational learning systems.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is designed to: (1) develop Job sheet in accordance with the curriculum for Grade XI students of Electronic Engineering; and (2) describes the percentage level of job sheet worthiness as a learning device for implementing electronic circuits. This research is a development research using the development model of 4-D models with four main stages namely, Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this research is quantitative descriptive. The results of the study note that: (1) Job sheet was developed containing 13 materials; and (2) based on the results of the assessment of the media experts, the average percentage was 86.76% (very feasible), the material experts reached the average percentage of 81% (feasible), and the students got an average percentage score of 88.34% (very good). Although job sheets are considered appropriate and good for use in learning, there are some limitations regarding their application by teachers when teaching.

Abstract

Indonesia has the second longest coastline in the world. On the other hand, Indonesia is the second largest contributor to marine waste in the world. Coastal cleanliness needs to be maintained so that it becomes an attraction for tourism and to protect the marine ecosystem. This article describes the results of testing devices that can be used to clean beaches. Research carried out by the development method. An autonomous beach garbage cleaning rover is a beach trash sweeper robot equipped with GPS, compass, telemetry, ArduPilot as a navigation and communication system when the robot operates. This robot moves using 2 DC motors with torque of ± 4 kg. The robot is also equipped with a conveyor that functions to sweep plastic debris on the beach. The test results show that the robot can go according to the specified path, according to the coordinates entered (100% accuracy) and be able to transport plastic waste. This is because the motor used has a small torque, so it is not able to lift large objects. The next robot development can be done in terms of: identifying the capacity of robots to accommodate various types of waste, testing the ability of robots to clean waste, the use of solar cells, and trajectory management systems.

Abstract

Perkembangan informasi, komunikasi dan teknologi yang semakin pesat telah banyak mengubah berbagai bidang kehidupan, termasuk dibidang pendidikan. Sudah semestinya sistem pembelajaran yang ada di Program Studi Pendidikan Vokasional Teknik Elektro Untirta harus lebih inovatif. Mengembangkan sistem pembelajaran e-learning berbasis website dan mengetahui kelayakan produk yang dihasilkan merupakan tujuan dari penelitian ini, dengan memakai metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan waterfall yang terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu, analisis kebutuhan, desain, implementasi atau pengkodeaan, dan pengujian. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah 3 orang ahli produk, 3 dosen 1 staff, dan 51  mahasiswa. Maka didapatkan hasil penelitian yang telah diolah, berupa data (1) tingkat kelayakan produk website e-learning diperoleh nilai skor rata-rata sebesar 74,6 dengan kategori "sangat layak". (2) hasil uji coba penggunaan website e-learning oleh dosen dan staff diperoleh nilai skor rata-rata sebesar 90,3 dengan kategori "sangat layak". (3) hasil uji coba penggunaan website e-learning oleh mahasiswa diperoleh nilai skor rata-rata sebesar 85 dengan kategori "sangat layak". Dapat ditarik kesimpulan, maka sistem pembelajaran e-learning berbasis website sangat layak. Agar pemanfaatan website e-learning terjaga, maka perlu dilakukan pemeliharaan rutin, penambahan fitur sesuai kebutuhan pengguna dan memperkuat keamanan website e-learning.
