Abstract

The increasing demand and widespread of renewable energy inherently compel the development of power electronics converter as an interface between consumers and the energy source/s. This paper presents a new two switched-impedance networks qZSI converter called High Ratio Two Switched-impedance quasi-Z-Source Inverter (HR2SZ-qZSI). Compared with the previous topology, this proposed HR2SZ-qZSI topology can achieve higher voltage gain with lower shoot-through duty ratio, and a higher boost factor. This paper also discusses comparative analysis between the previous topology and the proposed HR2SZ-qZSI topology. Furthermore, the simulation and experimental data are presented to prove the theoretical analysis of the proposed HR2SZ-qZSI topology. Despite the additional components needed, it accentuates that this proposed converter retains all features of qZSI: common ground point between the dc source and converter and smooth input current operation. Furthermore, almost all the devices rating including capacitor and diode voltage, and inductor current ripple are lower than the preceding relevant two switched-impedance qZSI family. Accordingly, this proposed HR2SZ-qZSI clearly a good power conditioning alternative for renewable generation system.

Abstract

This paper discusses the realization of vital sign monitoring devices and knowing their performance. This device is expected to assist medical personnel in measuring and monitoring vital signs without having to have physical contact with patients. The design phase of the patient's vital sign monitoring device with an Arduino Mega-based wireless sensor starts from the identification, needs analysis, design, manufacture, troubleshoot, and testing. Arduino Mega and ESP8266 as the main components that function for the controller and upload data to the server. Then MAX30100, DS18B20, and MPX5700AP sensors which function to detect the vital sign. Android smartphones are used to display measurement results in real-time, save and display vital sign data records. Based on the test results, the patient's vital signs monitoring device has an average difference of 0.67% for temperature checks, 1.19% for pulse checks, 0.77% for SPO2 examinations, 4.78%, and 8.91% for systolic and diastolic blood pressure examinations.

Abstract

Layanan sistem informasi akademik untuk orang tua (SIORTU) telah banyak diterapkan di kampus-kampus, salah satunya adalah Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII). Nama resmi SIORTU UII yaitu UNISYS untuk orang tua. Belum banyak orang tua atau wali mahasiswa yang menggunakan SIORTU. Tercatat hanya 7.361 akun SIORTU yang aktif pada rentang April 2018 s.d Maret 2019. Jumlah tersebut hanya 36.68% dari jumlah akun yang disediakan untuk orang tua mahasiswa angkatan 2015-2018 yaitu 20.068 akun. Penelitian ini merupakan pengembangan penelitian yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Data yang dianalisis diperoleh dari data penelitian yang dikembangkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh faktor-faktor penggunaan SIORTU terhadap minat penggunaan SIORTU, serta mengetahui bagaimana hubungan hasil penelitian dengan hasil penelitian yang dikembangkan. Manfaat yang diharapkan antara lain memperkuat hasil penelitian yang dikembangkan, mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi minat dan penggunaan SIORTU serta menambah referensi penelitian mengenai sistem informasi khususnya SIAKAD dan SIORTU. Penulis mengasumsikan variabel-variabel penelitian yang meliputi performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions dan habit berpengaruh terhadap SIORTU behavioral intention dan SIORTU behavioral intention berpengaruh terhadap SIORTU usage behavioral. Hasil Pengujian dan analisis yang dilakukan menghasilkan semua variabel independen berpengaruh positif terhadap behavioral intention dan usage behavioral melalui minat penggunaannya.

Abstract

Karakteristik motor DC menjadi hal mutlak yang perlu diketahui dalam proses pengendalian kecepatan penggerak elektrik. Konverter pengemudian elektrik yang sedang berkembang yaitu Interleaved Boost Converter. Pengendali fuzzy logic merupakan kendali yang efektif diterapkan banyak sistem linier maupun nonlinier dengan waktu operasi yang cepat. Hasil penerapan aplikasi motor DC berupa penyiram kecambah dapat berfungsi dengan baik pada variasi nilai setpoint kecepatan yang mana perubahan nilai tegangan keluaran berbanding lurus dengan perubahan kecepatan motor DC (30 Volt sd. 60 Volt ≈ 800 Rpm sd 1500 Rpm). Hal ini dapat membantu para petani kecambah dalam melakukan penyiraman biji kecambah secara otomatis seiring dengan perubahan suhu sekitar tanpa khawatir biji kecambah rusak.

Abstract

Tujuan pembuatan Tugas Akhir ini adalah: (1) merancang fingerprint dan gprs pada sistem pengaman sepeda motor, (2) mengimplementasi fingerprint dan gprs pada sistem pengaman sepeda motor, (3) mengetahui unjuk kerja fingerprint dan gprs pada sistem pengaman sepeda motor. Komponen utama yang digunakan adalah Arduino Mega sebagai pusat olah data , fingerprint sebagai keamanan utama, gprs sebagai kemanan kedua. dan kode numerik sebagai penulisan password serta mensetting sistem. Langkah Pembuatan Sitem Keamanan Ganda Sepeda Motor Berbasis Arduino Untuk Peningkatan Keamanan ini adalah (1) Perancangan Perangkat Keras: pertama Pembuatan Skematik Sistem , kedua Pembuatan Layout PCB,  ketiga Pembuatan Desain 3D, terakhir  Desain box finising, (2) Perancangan Perangkat Lunak pertama Pembuatan alur diagram kedua Pembuatan program Arduino. Berdasarkan Hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan (1) Fingerprint pada sistem pengaman kendaraan ini menjadi komponen keamanan utama yang sulit ditembus, (2) GPRS dapat mengirim pesan ke Android pemilik Sepeda Motor, (3) Kode Numerik dapat mengirimkan kode angka yang tepat, (4) Sistem alat bekerja dengan baik, dimana Fingerprint mengirim data sidik jari ke Arduino lalu Sepeda motor ON atau Kode Numerik mengirim Password ke Arduino lalu Arduino memproses Sepeda Motor ON apabila gagal 3 kali alarm berbunyi serta mengirim pesan ke Android.

Abstract

Pengembangan sistem informasi pemasaran produk pertanian (SIPTANI) dibutuhkan untuk membantu para petani dalam memasarkan produk-produk pertanian khususnya di era pandemic Covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan sistem dengan model pengembangan prototype dengan studi kelayakan menggunakan standar ISO 9126. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil observasi dan pengisian kuesioner oleh responden. Hasil pengujian aplikasi diperoleh dengan menganalisis aspek-aspek pada functional suitability, usability, compatibility, dan portability.  Pada aspek functional suitability berada pada kategori layak diterima. Pada aspek usability, kategori sangat setuju memiliki dengan persentase 90%, sehingga aplikasi dinyatakan layak dan ditanggapi baik oleh pengguna. Pada aspek compatibility, sistem pemasaran pertanian ini dapat berjalan dengan baik. Pada aspek portability, aplikasi sistem permasaran pertanian dapat berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

The objective of the present study is to produce a learning media product of health protocol implementation to children entitled "Awas Ada Virus Corona". This media utilized RD method and took several steps, namely preliminary research and data collection, research planning, product development, expert validation, product revision and final product. Feasibility testing is carried out by media experts by examining the multimedia construction domain consist of 3 aspects, namely guidance and information, program performance as well as systematic, aesthetic, and design aspects. Furthermore, a filled questionnaire by media experts was used to collect the data needed. Meanwhile, the descriptive statistic was used to analyzed the data gathered. The result of the present study is an application that can be used by children entitled " Awas Ada Virus Corona " as an educational media in implementing 3M of health protocol, namely wearing masks, washing hands, and maintaining a safe distance. The addition of Augmented reality technology with a live coloring feature is added in this application in reading markers to increase children's attractiveness. This augmented reality technology is applied in order to avoid the children only focus on gadgets, so children feel happy in using the familiar media and still interacting with the environment.

Abstract

The mobile learning sector has exploded, implying that the e-Learning trend is shifting to mobile platforms. As a result, chatbots have become increasingly popular alternatives for online learning and examinations on mobile platforms. However, it did not provide enough motivation for the student. On the other hand, gamification in a typical e-Learning platform is a widely used technique for increasing students' learning motivation. Therefore, combining gamification with chatbot-based learning and examinations possibly offer benefits, including increase student learning motivation. This study explored the possibilities and future challenges of the development of gamification within chatbot-based learning media. We discussed four aspects: architecture's reliability, security and privacy issue, user’s acceptance and motivation, and gamification feature challenges.

Abstract

Penutupan SMK merupakan dampak dari adanya pandemi COVID-19. Pembelajaran daring menjadi pendekatan yang harus diterapkan pada kondisi tersebut. Berbagai tantangan dan kendala pembelajaran daring mempengaruhi capaian pembelajaran. Temuan saat evaluasi pembelajaran daring di awal periode adalah menurunnya partisipasi belajar dan prosentase ketuntasan KKM peserta didik menjadi temuan yang diperoleh. Artikel ini memaparkan mengenai cara meningkatkan partisipasi dan prosentase ketuntasan tersebut pada pembelajaran daring melalui pemanfaatan WhatsApp Group (WAG) dan Google Classroom (GC). Tahapan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) adalah perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Group Investigation menjadi model pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) penerapan GI dapat meningkatkan partisipasi belajar melalui optimalisasi WAG sebagai forum diskusi (langkah identifikasi topik, perencanaan tugas, dan investigasi) dan pengumpulan video (laporan dan presentasi) pada waktu yang disepakati; (2) penerapan GI meningkatkan prosentase peserta didik yang tuntas KKM melalui langkah langkah diskusi, investigasi dan presentasi menggunakan WAG sebagai media komunikasi. Dedikasi dan peran proaktif pengajar memegang peranan penting dalam pengoptimalan WA pada pembelajaran. Teknologi pembelajaran terbaik adalah yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran berdasarkan karakteristik peserta didik, infrastruktur teknologi dan lingkungan pembelajaran. Manajemen perubahan diperlukan untuk meningkatkan literasi teknologi pembelajaran bagi sivitas pendidikan.

Abstract

The research is a research and development (R&D) with the aim to produce learning media products in the form of pneumatic trainer kits and pneumatic jobsheet trainers as pneumatic material in mechatronics courses to determine the level of eligibility and strengthening of competencies in Vocational Education in Electrical Engineering FKIP Untirta. This study uses the 4D or Defne model, namely the problem definition stage to be investigated, Design which is the product design stage and the material design josbheet material, Development (Development), namely the product manufacturing stage, product validation as well as user testing with competency strengthening and Dessiminate. The final product resulting from this development research is in the form of an electropneatic trainer kit and jobsheet which is also the main object of research. The method used in collecting data in this study includes interviews, observation, questionnaires and test questions for strengthening psychomotor competence. Testing the feasibility level of pneumatic media trainer kit involves three media experts and three material experts, as well as testing for psychomotor competency strengthening conducted by students of the Electrical Engineering Vocational Education study program in the 6th semester of 2017. The power analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study obtained a score on the feasibility test of media experts to get 91.3 included in the category of "Very Eligible", scores on the feasibility test of material experts obtained 86.3 who were included in the category of "Very Eligible", and the results of the answers to the matter of strengthening psychomotor competence obtained a score of answering with "True" of 324 while the score of answering with "False" of 96 which states that a pneumatic trainer kit along with a pneumatic trainer josbheet can be used as a reinforcement of competence in mechatronics courses.
