Abstract

Brainly is a question and answer (Q&A) site that students can use as a media for questions and answers. Students can also use Brainly to find and share educational information that helps students solve their homework problems. In Brainly, users can answer questions according to their interests. However, it could be that the interest is not necessarily following the competencies possessed. It causes many answers to the questions given not to have a high rating because the answers given are of low quality to be prioritized as the main answer. This study aims to apply the K-Means and Agglomerative Clustering methods to segment users based on the reputation of the answerers by conducting clustering based on track records in answering questions on mathematics subjects. This study used the number of the brightest scores and the number of answers that did not get a rating as the basic features for clustering. The comparison between the two methods used is based on the Silhouette Score, representing the quality of the clustering results, calculated by applying the Silhouette Coefficient method. This study result indicates that the K-Means method gives better results than the Agglomerative Clustering. The Silhouette Score generated by the K-Means method is higher at 0.9081 than the Agglomerative Clustering method, which is 0.8990, which produces two clusters or two segments.

Abstract

This paper presents a digital implementation of a brushless direct current motor (BLDCM) drive with a six-step pulse width modulation (PWM) using a programmable simplified C-block based on the STM32 microcontroller. The implementation is conducted through the PSIM simulation platform, which is commonly used for power electronics and motor control. This approach combines the benefits of using a programmable simplified C-block for precise and flexible programming with the PWM concepts of the STM32 microcontroller. The PWM method used on the BLDCM drive is the unipolar upper PWM technique (H~PWM_L~ON). The performance of the PWM implementation is analyzed in detail, including the accuracy of the PWM generation using a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), the gating of the IGBTs in the three-phase inverter, and the effect of the duty cycle on the BLDCM's speed, phase voltage, and phase current.

Abstract

The existence of institutional village enterprises (BUMDES) has never been adequately monitored in terms of the growth of village-owned businesses in each village. According to the data, there are 17 BUMDES in the Muara District that have been inactive for the most part. Due to the difficulty of monitoring the progress of BUMDES, a significant number of them have become stalled or even inactive. In addition, many BUMDES managers are frequently unprepared to operate the newly opened business. Readiness in terms of the quality of human resources also affects the formation of BUMDES. Consequently, the objective of this study is to facilitate the monitoring of business developments carried out by BUMDES actors in their respective villages, thereby facilitating the feasibility assessment of BUMDES. Aside from that, the purpose of this study is to determine the viability of applying for BUMDES as one of the requirements for obtaining a recommendation from the village head for submission to the Village Ministry.  The feasibility analysis employs the AHP method with multiple parameters, including business age, business type, and business capital. According to research findings with applications, several BUMDES are declared unfit, while others are declared feasible. BUMDES with declared eligibility has AHP values ranging from 0.382 to 0.619. Meanwhile, BUMDES that are unworthy receives AHP values ranging from 0.235 to 0.239. It can also be determined based on the weight of each criterion as to whether or not it is appropriate for BUMDES. While the results of black box testing for the system's feasibility using 10 types of testing, including Equivalence Partitioning, Boundary Value Analysis/Limit Testing, Comparison Testing, Sample Testing, Robustness Testing, Behavior Testing, Performance Testing, Requirement Testing, Endurance Testing, and Cause-and-Effect Relationship Testing. Abstract

The usefulness of monitoring systems in the electric power system supports the importance of people's work today. One of which is the monitoring system at the generator. The monitoring system for Wind Power Plant (WPP), Solar Power Plant (SPP), and electricity from State Electricity Company (PLN) use IoT (Internet of Things) in the form of Sonoff Pow R2. With the monitoring system on this tool, the parameter values for WPP, SPP, and PLN can be seen and monitored online via a smartphone. The purpose of this research is to design a monitoring system for WPP, SPP, and PLN based on the Internet of Things (IoT) to determine the value of the output power. In addition, this system can distinguish load parameter values when WPP, SPP, and PLN are supplied directly (real time) and monitored online using the Sonoff Pow R2 app and the Ewelink App. This study uses the methodology that started the process of designing and manufacturing systems and designing the wiring that has been formed from the process of making tools and testing results. The results obtained from the experiment show that the current values in WPP, SPP, and PLN that appear on the monitoring screen are stable.  The stable condition values are measured and tested when power is used when loading through sonoff.  For the power value, the power value in PLN is stable, whereas in WPP and SPP has increased. For the voltage, the voltage value from PLN does not reach 220 V, whereas the voltage value from WPP and SPP reaches a value of 220 V.

Abstract

This study examines the level of effectiveness and efficiency of a sensor on the calculation of the rotational speed (RPM) of a DC motor, considering that the calculation of the rotational speed of an electric motor, both AC motors and DC motors, greatly influences the output of the system. the speed of motor rotation is very influential in several fields, such as power generation, which will affect the output voltage that will be generated. There are many methods for measuring the rotational speed of a motor, including using an inductive proximity sensor and a rotary encoder combined with a PLC as a control center and data processor so that the rotational speed can be read. the output of the proximity sensor and rotary encoder will be connected to the PLC input pin so that data will appear in the form of a pulse value which can be seen in the program that has been made. The data obtained will be processed in a program that uses special instructions, namely PRV. In comparison, the speed of a dc motor will be changed using a PWM module or pulse width modulation to adjust the rotational speed of the motor. From the results of experiments that have been carried out using the proximity sensor, it gives an average motor speed reading of 6420 Rpm with an error of -10.3, and experiments carried out using a rotary encoder give an average motor speed reading of 6409.3 Rpm with an error of 0.4 so that it can be concluded that the use of a rotary encoder is more accurate than the use of a proximity sensor to calculate motor speed.
