Abstract

The aim of the research is to improve Accounting Education Department’s student self learning forTax Accounting lesson by using problem based learning method. The subject of this classroomaction research involved students of III a class Accounting Education Department in 2011/2012academic year, who studies Tax accounting (36 students). Flow method design research from Kemmisand Taggart by cycle model. Data collection used by observation technique, analysis procedure byusing interactive analysis model from Milles Huberman. Based on the research result in reflectionevaluation,can be concluded that: 1) by using the constructive procedure of problem based learningmethod the self learning of Accounting Education Department’s student for Tax Accounting lessonincreased; 2) the function of teacher as facilitator, motivator, and learning source not as dictator oflearning; 3) class situation become more active-creative; 4) student can be active in learning, able todo scheduled learning, have a high self confident, be critical in learning and have self enforcement.This method will be more effective to improve students self learning if they are explained about problembased learning, case study task can be solved in class, and reflection-evaluation in the end of sessionmust be provided by the teacher.

Abstract

The research investigates the influence of good public governance toward economics teacher’s performance in Kota Salatiga, Kabupaten Semarang dan Kota Semarang with teacher’s work engagement as intervening variable. The population of this study is all economics teachers in Kota Salatiga, Kabupaten Semarang and Kota Semarang. Descriptive and path analysis are used to estimate and interpret the results. There are three findings in this research. Firstly, Good Public Governance influences economics teacher’s performance indirectly and totally with teacher’s work engagement as intervening variable. Secondly, economics teacher’s performance is not significantly influenced by good public governance directly. The last finding is that teacher’s work engagement influence economics teacher’s performance directly. On the other words, good public governance increases economics teacher’s work engagement, in doing so influence economics teacher’s performance.

Abstract

The research aims were: 1) to describe the revitalization of subject “Patroli Keamanan Sekolah (PKS)” at PPKn FKIP UMS in order to discipline character reinforcement and social concern; 2) to describe the task achievement (Capaian Pembelajaran) to revitalize subject PKS; 3) to describe PKS lesson plan; 4) to draft the development of PKS in order to reinforce discipline and social concern of PPKn students as a extracurricular tutor. This was a research and development done by sequences in two years. The research subjects were all appropriate source persons such as lecturers, students, alumni, and other stakeholders. The in-depth interview, focus group discussion, observation, literature review and indexing were conducted to collect data while interaction analysis was used to data interpretation. Research found: 1) PKS revitalization was conducted by task achievement (CP), Lesson Plan (RPS), integrated lesson trough learning, workshop, and training; 2) CP was arranged by sequence starting from first meeting to last meeting (14) with all competencies such as knowledge, attitude, and life skill; 3) Lesson plan included: CP attitude and values, basic knowledge, special skills, knowledge mastering, managerial skill, method and strategy, assignment, scoring, monitoring and feedback needed the active role from students in term of: students attendance, group presentation, class discussion, student activity monitoring, and face to face evaluation.

Abstract

Education has very strategic role to reach up the progressing of one nation,also as basic capital and human investment. The research aims is to knowhow business practice that is conducted at SMK Muhammadiyah 2Surakarta. And, whether business practice is able to grow up the spirit ofentrepreneurship. The research target is students of SMK Muhammadiyah 2Surakarta: 326 students, principal, teachers, and staffs. The research kinds is qualitative.Collecting data through observation, in depth interview, and documentation. Dataanalysis through qualitative descriptive by using triangulation model. The research resultshow that business practice conducting at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta can beconducted successfully and able to grow up the spirit of entrepreneurship.

Abstract

The research main target is to give direction and guiding the students to study  Entrepreneurship for their future choice job as the entrepreneur candidates. Entrepreneurship education is very brilliant idea in the era of very tight competion for job hunting for university graduaters, and this writing will give useful, valuable and meaningful contribution for students for being honest, reliable and kind heart entrepreneur in the future. The research kind is quantitative, entrepreneurship’ spirit is measured by Likert model attitude scale. The research instrument is questionnaire. The research design is survey, population 750 respondents, 150 samples are choosen by random sampling. Questionaires that are fulfilling the requirement is only 130. Then, it was cultivated SPSS method, and obtaining data presenting table and central tendency data analyzed by doubled linier regression. The research result showed that the entrepreneurship lesson score has influenced the students’motivation for doing business, and students’ study motivation also has influenced to study result entrepreneurship, though the influenced of both variables only 17 %. The growing of the entrepreneurship’spirit can be done if there was motivation and formal education was on. The formal education pushed the students to have positive attitude for doing entrepreneurship.

Abstract

        Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan implementasi kurikulum 2013 pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran akuntansi di SMK Surakarta. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini subjeknya adalah guru-guru akuntansi  SMK  di Surakarta. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, selanjutnya dianalisis dengan analisis interaktif, yaitu  pengumpulan data, reduksi data, data display dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa  implementasi kurikulum 2013 pada pembelajaran akuntansi di SMK dilakukan dengan: (a) Kegiatan pembelajaran didesain sedemikian rupa agar  guru,  dapat melaksanakan proses pembelajaran secara professional, (b) Kegiatan pembelajaran diorganisasikan menjadi kegiatan: Pendahuluan, Inti, dan Penutup. Kegiatan inti dijabarkan dalam  kegiatan eksplorasi, elaborasi, dan konfirmasi, dalam bentuk: mengamati, menanya, mengumpulkan informasi, mengasosiasikan dan mengkomunikasikan

Abstract

Millennials are a generation that is familiar with the use of technology and the internet in everyday life. This generation can spend hours using internet technology through cellular phones or mobile phones that are more practical and easy to use. The process of education and learning in this generation certainly needs to apply some appropriate learning methods by using mobile phones based on smartphones so students are more interested and enthusiastic in participating in learning. Quizlet is a smartphone-based online learning device that can be used for all subjects and for all ages. Quizlet can be accessed by students through mobile phones based on Android or iOS. The purpose of this study is to explain the advantages of the Quizlet application that can be used in the millennial generation learning process. Literature studies are used to explain the advantages offered by the Quizlet application through the analysis of theory and literature that has been obtained.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative study has three purposes.1 ) To describe thecharacteristics of learners PSG. 2) To describe the characteristics of PSGteachers. 3 ) To describe the learning characteristics of PSG. This research wasconducted at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Karanganyar with in-depth interviews, directobservation and the use of documents for data collection. The data source of this research istaken from the principal, vice principal, chairman of the skills program, working group PSG,PSG executive teacher, head of partner institutions, and recording learning activities atschool and in industry. The Result of this shows that : 1) The learners had an average value5.29 of National Exam, not color blind and having minimum height 142 cm,57, 9%responsiveand99.7%had agoodpersonality. Economic background of their parents is middleand lower class. Learners have different characteristics which must be understood by theteacher. 2) Teacher background S1, has teaching experience at least 1 year, activelyimprove their competence through training and industry internship andhave agoodperformance. 3) Learning PSG using pattern learning by placing the school as a replica ofthe industry.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate how financial knowledge, financial attitude, and pocket money can affect saving behavior with self-control as a moderate variable. This study adopted a quantitative approach. The population in this study was 298 students of Accounting Education Department at the State University of Surabaya with a sample of 178 students. The data collection methods were closed tests and questionnaires. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on component partial least square (PLS) with the help of the WarpPLS 6.0 application. The results of the study show that: 1) financial knowledge does not significantly affect saving behavior and this is proven by p-value 0,348 ≥significant 0,05. 2) Financial attitude does not significantly affect saving behavior and this is proven by a p-value 0,225 ≥0,05. 3) pocket money has a significant impact on interest-bearing pocket money and this is demonstrated by p-value0,001 ≤0,01and Path Coefficient 0,754. 4) Self-control as moderating does not have a significant impact on saving behavior and this is proven by a p-value 0,148 ≥0,05. 5) Self-control is unable to modify the impact of financial knowledge on saving behavior and this is demonstrated by p-value 0 results, 0,207 ≥0,05. 6) Self-control can modernize financial attitude with saving behavior and this is proven by p-value 0,023 ≤ 0,05. 7) Self-control can modify the effect of pocket money on saving behavior and this is demonstrated by a p-value 0,047 ≤ 0,05.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanan Jaminan Kecelakaan Kerja dalam Jaminan Sosial Tenaga Kerja, peraturan perundang-undangan yang di laksanakan dalam jaminan kecelakaan kerja, faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat pelaksanaan jaminan kecelakaan kerja dalam jaminan sosial tenaga kerja, serta upaya yang dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan jaminan kecelakaan kerja dalam jaminan sosial tenaga kerja pada PT Batik Keris Sukoharjo. Bentuk penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif Penelitian ini tidak hanya melaporkan data semata, tetapi menganalisis lebih lanjut guna mendapatkan kesimpulan.Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, pengamatan, dan dokumentasi. Untuk menguji validitas dan reliabilitas data dilakukan dengan cara trianggulasi data, refiew informan, serta member chek. untuk mengalisis data digunakan cara berpikir induktif dengan analisis mengalir yang terbagi dalam tiga komponen yaitu : reduksi data, sajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Dengan demikian data hasil penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menjalinsecara paralel reduksi data, sajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan baik sebelum pada waktu, maupunsesudah pengumpulan data.Hasil dari analisis data menunjukkan bahwa dengan pelaksanaan jaminan kecelakaan kerja dalam jaminan sosial tenaga kerja, ternyata memberi manfaat bagi tenaga kerja, terbukti dengan meningkatnya gairah kerja yang dapat menguntungkan perusahaan. Upaya perlindungan hukum terhadap tenaga kerja di PT Batik Keris sudah ada peningkatan terutam pelaksanaan jaminan kecelakaan kerja. Pelaksanaan jaminan kecelakaan kerja dalam jaminan sosial tenaga kerja pada PTBatik Keris Sukoharjo sebagian besar telah dilaksanakan.
