Abstract

Entrepreneurial Leadership Headmaster that essentially sees leadership and entrepreneurial leaders on performance, so that its direction is more emphasis on best practices, it has become the issue of secondary education in this period. Consequently, by being led by the Headmaster who has a requirement with his strategic role, accelerates the achievement of graduates besides having competence in his field, has also entrenched entrepreneurial spirit. In practice, this model requires the support and togetherness of all academicians, especially teachers. As an anticipation, for universities, especially LPTKs that supply the needs of teachers, these educational issues become a signal for internal review to review the reliability of more relevant and flexible strategies to find provisions for its alumni. The review will cover several aspects, namely: 1) Leaders and Lecture aspects, 2) Education Laboratory aspects and Accounting, and 3) Aspects of the process of formation and briefing the competence of the graduates. These three aspects essentially refers to the formation of LPTK graduate who later can partner with the Headmaster in realizing the ideals of the school. The accuracy of finding a diagnosis on the aspects that need improvement, accompanied by more innovative strategy determination, and implementation that supported by the entire academic community, will at least be able to provide fresh air for the realization of the vision, mission, and objectives are declared.

Abstract

The research aims are: 1. to describe the women independency ofbeing single parent to educate their children at pakang village,Andong, Boyolali; 2. To describe the problem of single parentwomen in educate their children at pakang village, Andong,Boyolali.The indicator of women independency of being singleparent are: 1. Can complete duty, 2. Responsible, 3. Able to overcome theproblem, 4. Believe in their own ability, 5. Able to manage themselves. Thisresearch used two triangulation methods, those are: data gathering techniqueand data gathering source. Data collections used are: participativeobservation, in depth interview, and documentation. Data analysis used isqualitative descriptive with interactive analysis model, including: datagathering, data reduction, data presenting, and drawing conclusion. Theresearch result showed that; 1. The women independency of being singleparent to educate their children at pakang village, Andong, Boyolali, includingphysical, intellectual, and spiritual education. 2. The problem faced by singleparent women to educate their children including internal and externalproblem. The main internal problem is parent and their own children. Externalproblem is their playing and school environment. 3. Problem solution that isused by single parent women for internal; the parent should always giveenough pay attention and independency to their children. For external: theparent should plant Islamic values in their environment and choosing anappropriate school for their children in order to get the best attitude andbehavior.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh Struktur Modal terhadap tingkat likuiditas bank pada Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) di Kabupaten Karanganyar. Jumlah anggota sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 6 BPR di antara 17 BPR sebagai populasi yang sudah lama beroperasi di Kabupaten Karanganyar dengan melakukan 2 pengamatan per semester di setiap BPR.Pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan kriteria BPR yang sudah lama beroperasi dan sudah bisa melakukan evaluasi diri tentang tingkat kesehatan BPR dengan tingkat kesalahan yang sangat rendah. Penelitian menggunakan data sekunder yang dikumpulkan dengan metode dokumentasi tidak langsung artinya peneliti mengirimkan daftar isian untuk data yang dibutuhkan.Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda, dan uji asumsi meliputi uji multikolinearitas, uji autokorelasi, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji normalitas dan uji linearitas terhadap data yang diperoleh. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa variabel struktur modal berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat likuiditas bank. Koefisien parameternya mempunyai arah positif artinya struktur modal ternyata menaikkan tingkat likuiditas BPR.Faktor modal sendiri lebih dominan mempengaruhi Rasio Aktiva Lancar atas Hutang Lancar, sedangkan faktor modal asing lebih dominan mempengaruhi Rasio Kredit atas Dana Yang Diterima. Penelitian berikutnya perlu melakukan penambahan sampel dengan lokasi penelitian yang diperluas dan perlu telaah lebih lanjut terhadap fenomena yang menggambarkan kesimpulan di atas. Hal ini perlu dilakukan mengingat masalah likuiditas merupakan faktor yang penting bagi kelangsungan BPR.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the character strengthening kewirausahaanship through education Wirogunan family in the village, District Kartasura, Sukoharjo.This research is a qualitative case study approach. His research interests are the residents in the village Wirogunan as many as 40 families, while the research object is the kewirausahaanial character. Methods of data collection are interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques using interactive analysis technique consists of three steps: data reduction, data display and data verification.The results showed that the strengthening of the kewirausahaanial character through family education can be done by providing habituation-conditioning on their children to have the kewirausahaanial character and reduce to a minimum dependence on parents. Moreover, it can be done pul a manner giving the example of kewirausahaanship to get their children educated and kewirausahaanial character internalized so as to have a mental attitude that is not always dependent on parents in performing everyday activities in the family. Another way to do consistent with the order that prevailed in the beginning forced keluarega willingly so it will be a habituation run by itself.In conclusion strengthening the kewirausahaanial character must be built from an early age through family education, so that when teenagers and even into adulthood sehingg have the mental attitude of independence and not always rely on others. In this way it will also awaken creativity and innovative power in the face of many challenges in life together in society.

Abstract

The aims of this research were to develop, implement, and evaluate the problem solving based-learning method of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI). This learning method was designed to encourage student’s involvement during the learning process, provide students challenges to have High Order Thinking students, and ease them to understand the gist of externality material on the course of micro economics theory.   This research was conducted at a private university in Indonesia. Its results demonstrated that the students, in general, gave positive responses during the implementation of problem solving-based of TAI method. They also argued that this method was beneficial for them. In conclusion, TAI method with problem solving base could be considered by lecturers to be employed for learning micro economics in the future.

Abstract

The main target and aims of this writing are: to show that curriculum is a dynamic system, therefore, it can be developed to follow the era progressing, the need and level of our students. It is to show that curriculum is excellent and accurate guiding for the successfull of teaching learning process. Better we make curriculum will be better and greater the result of education. Above all, character building is the most important target of curriculum and education. There are a lot of aspects in curriculum that should be learned carefully and seriously. Therfore, the government/Education Minister should be smart in making curriculum design that is good, accurate, and suitable for our students, if not, they will make a big mistake in taking decision, so the impacts will be scarry for the future generation.

Abstract

One type of instant economic activity includes being sand miner and sand transporter in the sand mining area. The purpose of this study is to describe the impact of children's productive activities in the sand mine on dropout rates at the junior high school level in Keduwang Village, Blitar Regency. Respondents of the research data amounted to 38 children who carried out productive activities of sand mining. This study used cross-sectional survey research method with a quantitative approach that were supplemented with qualitative data. The collection technique used questionnaire, observation, and interviews. Data analysis techniques used descriptive data analysis techniques with the odds ratio method. The results indicate that the impact of children's productive activities in sand mining on dropout rates at junior high school level with decrease of children’s interest attending school. The results of odd ratio analysis indicate that the riskiest factor causing children to choose school dropout is productive activities in sand mining do not require special skills. The factor of not requiring special skills is proven to be six times the risk of causing children school dropout. The results provide description of how easy economic access and does not require skills has an impact on children's perceptions of going to school or working. Implications for the results of this research are expected to be a reference for government to pay attention to dropout rates that occur due to the productive activities of children in sand mining.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh besarnya kredit yang diberikanoleh KUD terhadap pendapatan pedagang kecil. Penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif ini menggunakan sampel 30 orang yang diambil meng-gunakan teknik quota random sampling dengan undian. data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara, dokumentasi, observasi, dan studi pustaka. selanjutnya data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik model regresi linier berganda.Hasil Penelitian mendapatkan Koefisien Regresi Y = 35,855 + 0,0532X1 + 0,0397X2. melaluiuji F.

Abstract

The research aims were: 1) to explore the effectiveness of implementation contextual method based on Sets in order to improve the student’s participation economic learning. 2) To examine the effect of using the contextual method based on Sets toward the learning outcome of grade X.2 students of SMA Negeri (State Senior High School) of Karangpandan academic year 2015/2016. This was an action research conducted in two cycles. The conclusions were: 1) the implementation of the contextual method based on Sets improved the student’s participation in economic learning. This result could be inferred from the improvement of students asked frequently, the inclining of collaboration, and the capability of answering the questions. 2) The implementation of the contextual method based on Sets upgraded economic learning outcome. This conclusion was based on the student’s average score in the first cycle was 6,69, increase 0,49 than before. Furthermore, the assignment score also increase from 6,81 to 7,04 and the average daily test score was 7,44. In the second cycle, the student’s average score was 7,68 higher 0,99 than the score in the first cycle. The average of assignment score also improved from 7,04 to 7,44. In the last, 88,9% achieved the higher than the minimum score (KKM).Keywords: implementation contextual method, Sets method, affective, learning achievement

Abstract

This article explores descriptively by using literature review about transformational leadership and the principal strategy to support literacy movement in school. The study found that the critical roles of principal strategy to support financial movement are: (1) developing the curriculum that strengthen science knowledge, nature of science, and implementation in technology and the impacts to the environment and society; (2) incorporating with society (parents, committee, and alumni) for providing books in library; (3) using contextual learning strategy that balancing learning activity in school and society; (4) Strengthen story telling activity or re-telling to motivate students to read; (5) arranging pedagogic approach included discussion, scientific research, academic writing, and argumentation; (6) recruit professional library officer; (7) encourage teacher and staff to support  school literacy movement with 15 minutes reading before learning starts; (8) developing short and long term literacy program.
