Abstract

Children with CP in the moderate category need to use AFO to be able to walk. AFO products with PP materials used by CP children have drawbacks because the design needs of CP children are different. The application of additive manufacture by adding a layer of fiber fabric expected to replace PP materials. The basic materials for making AFO are PLA, ABS, PETG and PC filaments with carbon and texalium fabric types. Tests are carried out through tensile and impact tests to obtain tension and impact values. The treatment factors used in the process of making specimen are lamination, type of filament, and thickness. This study uses a factorial design model, to determine the significance value of each factor using ANOVA. The results show a polycarbonate filament layered with carbon fabric with a tension of 301.064 MPa, and an impact of 40.68 J/m.

Abstract

PT Himalaya Mitra Sukses, is a company engaged in the cooking seasoning and flavoring industry. The products produced include tomato sauce, chili sauce, and premix flour. The company has problems achieving less than optimal productivity, which later became the basis of this research. In this research, identification of waste that occurs in the production process using the Lean DMAI method. The data in this research were processed and analyzed based on 4 main stages: (1) Big Picture Mapping (BPM); (2) making Pareto Diagrams; (3) Root Cause Analysis (RCA); (4) the Failure Mode Effect and Analysis (FMEA) method to reduce the existing waste. Based on the results of the research, it is known that the types of waste identified are overproduction, defects, waiting processes, unnecessary inventory, and excess displacement. Of these many factors, the largest waste is caused by the defect factor of the tomato sauce type product which is runny and too acidic, because the operator does not follow the existing SOP with an RPN value of 392.

Abstract

No-Wait Flowshop Permutation Scheduling Problem (NWPFSP) is a scheduling problem that states that every job completed on machine n must be processed immediately on the next machine. The NWPFSP problem is an extension of the flowshop problem. This article proposes two new algorithms fire hawk optimization and beluga whale optimization, to solve the NWPFSP problem and minimize makespan. The two new algorithms developed to solve the NWPFSP problem are tested on three different cases. Each algorithm was run 30 times and was compared using an independent sample t-test. The results were also compared with the Campbell Dudek Smtih algorithm. In addition, the effectiveness of the FHO and BWO algorithms was assessed against the CDS algorithm using the Relative Error Percentage (REP) method. The results show that the FHO and BWO algorithms are better at solving NWPFSP problems when compared to the CDS algorithm. However, the BWO algorithm is more recommended in cases with large data because it can provide better results.

Abstract

The increase in the number of certified halal products shows the Indonesian people's increasing level of awareness of the halalness of a product. In addition, people are also increasingly curious about all the activities involved along the supply chain to ensure whether the products they buy are genuinely halal. One of the consumer products that need to be traced to the halal supply chain is beef products because there is a risk of contamination throughout the supply chain from raw materials, production processes, distribution, storage and handling. Calculation of risk in this study will use the House of Risk (HOR) method. This research focuses on the process of inbound and outbound logistics and the beef slaughtering process at the Purwokerto Slaughterhouse. The results of this study obtained 26 risk events and 28 risk agents. Based on risk mapping using phase 1 and Pareto HOR diagrams, 11 risks are prioritized based on the highest ARP values, namely A15, A25, A19, A7, A5, A28, A6, A2, A16, A17, and A21. Moreover, it made 14 recommendations for mitigation actions that the company can apply to control these risks.

Abstract

Madura Island has a variety of quality crops, such as medicinal plants, one of which is Cabya (Piper retrofractum Vahl). The need for Cabya for exports is enormous, but Indonesia can only meet the demand for about a third. The highest production of Cabya is in East Java, especially in Madura. This research proposes a digital logistic system to forecast demand for Cabyaexports and manage Cabya stocks through forecasting yields and inventory management processes. The research was conducted in Sumenep regency that produce the highest number and the best quality Cabya in East Java. The Markov Chain method forecasts yields for the next five years. Then Forecasting results are integrated with an information system to manage the logistics of Cabya. The logistics system resulting from this research can be used by the government and export managers of Cabya to optimize the demand for Cabya exports. Further research can be carried out by integrating Inventory control methods to improve the logistics system's accuracy and calculate the inventory's total cost.

Abstract

The users of electric motorcycle in Indonesia are currently still limited. This is due to three main things, namely the limited amount of energy charging infrastructure, the lack of socialization regarding the knowledge of technical aspects of electric motorcycle and the financing aspects of electric motorcycle ownership. This research develops a conceptual design business model canvas of Mobile Battery Swap Charging Stations (MBSCS) for electric motorcycles which aim to find solutions to the three problems above. The development of the MBSCS model is an alternative to increase the number of electric charging infrastructure quickly, because the advantages of MBSCS include having a higher level of flexibility and simpler installation than Fixed Charging Stations. This research combines the need of increasing infrastructure and improving socialization to the community regarding the advantages of using electric motorcycle through marketing communication media. Increasing the understanding of technical aspects of electric motorcycle is expected to increase people's motivation to adopt electric motorcycle. This research uses secondary data to explore MBSCS business canvas model (BMC), MBSCS ecosystem, and MBSCS prototype design. The analysis illustrates the MBSCS ecosystem that align with the motorcycle users in Indonesia.  The existence of MBSCS is expected to significantly increase the buying interest, adoption, and diffusion of electric motors more broadly.

Abstract

Data from the Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial (BPJS) Ketenagakerjaan Indonesia from 2019 to 2021 shows that the number of work accident victims who claimed Work Accident Insurance (Jaminan Kecelakaan Kerja / JKK) continues to increase. The high number of work accidents is mostly caused by unsafe behavior at work sites, one of which is in terms of compliance with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). One tool that is considered important as a step in reducing work accidents is an identification system for compliance of personal protective safety equipment use that can detect PPE used by visitors or workers. This study develops an automatic identification system that is built using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) to identify the use of PPE in the manufacturing technology laboratory. The CNN models used are the 4th and 5th versions of You Only Look Once (YOLO) which are then compared based on two methods: train from scratch and transfer learning. The dataset used for building the detection system has 11,579 images consisting of six classes of PPE objects. Overall performance of the proposed models shows very good results. Moreover, the comparison result among the three models shows that YOLOv5 transfer learning has the best performance with the best precision (94.2 %), recall (91.8 %), and mAP (88.6%).
