Harmoni: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Penelitian Seni Budaya. Diterbitkan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Seni Rupa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. Jurnal Harmoni menerbitkan karya ilmiah hasil penelitian dibidang pendidikan seni rupa, ilmu seni, dan budaya yang meliputi Jurnal pendidikan seni rupa dan Penelitian ilmu-ilmu seni dan budaya. Mempublikasi hasil-hasil kajian dan penelitian orisinil dengan perspektif multidisipliner dan transdisipliner khususnya ilmu-ilmu pendidikan, seni dan kebudayaan. Abstract

This article discusses the diverse Ma'baru'tung tradition in Parombean Village, Curio District, Enrekang Regency. This research aims to identify the functions of the Ma'baru'tung tradition within the local community context. The study adopts a qualitative approach by collecting data through participatory observation and interviews with indigenous figures and local community members. The research findings indicate that the Ma'baru'tung tradition serves several essential functions within the community, including as a form of entertainment that enriches local cultural life, a means of communication to convey social and historical messages, and a ritual that connects people with nature and their ancestors. Additionally, tradition plays a role in strengthening social bonds and community integration, while also serving as an educational medium to impart traditional values. The study concludes that the Ma'baru'tung tradition plays a significant role in preserving the cultural and social identity of Parombean Village's community, making it imperative to preserve and promote it for the cultural heritage's sustainability in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to find out 1). How social media engagement is present in Ngayogjazz as a music festival in Yogyakarta. 2). How Social media plays a role in portraying the Ngayogjazz festival. To achieve the objectives of the study, qualitative research methods were used with a virtual ethnographic approach from Christine Hine where Social media was chosen as the locus of research. Social media theory is used as a foundation in framing thoughts and discussions.Data collection techniques are carried out in two ways, namely observing Ngayogjazz's activities on Social media and conducting interviews to confirm some data found directly with several sources directly related to this event. In addition, existing literature and documentation data are also used as references in describing and analyzing Ngayogjazz events in Social media.The results of this study show that Social media that is present in Ngayogjazz as a music festival in Yogyakarta, using four platforms, namely Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube shows a binding interaction between Ngayogjazz as a festival and the community at large. Ngayogjazz utilizes Social media as one of the strategies in branding itself as a music festival whose presence is taken into account in the country, improvisation and musical interaction that characterize jazz.

Abstract

Art is a work or human action that has a point of beauty that makes the human heart moved. In other words, art is an element of culture which aims to fulfill the needs of humans or community groups for aesthetic values. Doodle Art is a work of art that uses a lot of imagination and truth in processing and setting images on a medium. The purpose of this analysis is to find out the aesthetics of Makassar City Doodle Art Illustration Art works. For this reason, the target of the analysis is directed at the Makassar Doodle Art community, namely the millennial community of young people in Makassar City. This type of research is interpretive qualitative research and uses Monroe Breadsley's aesthetic theory approach which emphasizes elements of unity, complexity and seriousness. The population in this research is the Makassar Doodle Art community, totaling 50 people and the research sample is the Makassar Doodle Art Community, totaling 10 people. The data analysis techniques used are literature, video and photo documentation from existing samples, namely the Makassar Doodle Art community, Makassa city. The conclusion that can be presented in this article is that apart from the aesthetic concept, it is also about the process of creating illustrations (doodles) in the Makassar DoodleArt community. The process of   creating Doodles using simple, improvised equipment can produce good work that can be analyzed.

Abstract

: Dolo-dolo as a Kind of Music, Dance and Literary Community in East Flores (Lamaholot), NTT. Dolo-dolo is a kind of folk art that consist of music, dance and literature that comes from the East Flores (Lamaholot), NTT. There are many other similar arts can be found in every province from NTT that has the same elements. The art like this usually have the shape of ritual and entertainment by the performance art. Dolo-dolo is a kind of art from NTT  that packaged in one complete presentation which has third of the art elements in a show.  Such as in the form of dance, which is not only the dance that contained in the serving, but rather the elements of music and literature also very important in it. Based on its history and its development, Dolo-dolo has value and functionality in the local area connection that does not even have separated from Western culture. This became the basis of a mix of acculturation and inculturation are very complete.

Abstract

Indonesia is a nation rich in cultural and artistic treasures, consisting of several islands, tribes that are very famous around the world by having a diversity of culture and artistic creativity, namely traditional clothes and fabrics typical of their respective regions, one of which is batik. The type of research that will be used is a type of research that is qualitative descriptive "This research aims to find out the process of creativity of the art of batik using the motif of bringing in students of class XII of the Department of Textiles Smkn 3 Bima and knowing the quality of the results of the work.  The results of research on student batik works are relatively very good, from their own motives using local motifs that can attract the attention of the local community, because onions are the largest income of milky milk farmers. And the discussion about the process of student creativity using bawa motifs combined with uma lengge motifs or bima traditional houses in one cloth with batik writing techniques. The conclusion that the process of working on the art of batik using the motive of carrying out is to carry out learning activities, where students are required to have creative ideas and follow the stages that support the success of the work. The advice is for a new generation of batik makers, presumably make batik works as a reference and have creative ideas, cultural insights and traditions in batik work.

Abstract

This study of the Mercedes-Benz The New A Class website is a case study carried out with the aim of finding out that the Mercedes-Benz The New A-Class website has elements of hyper-signs as part of hyperreality, as well as proving that the Mercedes-Benz The New website A-Class is a simulation, with post-structural sign/semiotic analysis and with Jean Baudrillard's simulation theory and hyperreality approach. Some conclusions obtained from this study are; firstly, the two VRs on the Mercedes-Benz A Class website here are a simulation process, and secondly the virtual reality in it is a duplication of itself, because the reality reference does not exist. Second, on the Mercedes-Benz A Class website, pseudo/original, fake/imitation, past/present, natural/artificial are mixed up and overlapping, so that they can no longer be differentiated. This shows that the Mercedes-Benz A Class website is a form of hyperreality.
