Abstract

In order to achieve high quality in the field of education, the role of the teacher is very important and is very major. For that, the professionalism of the teacher should be enforced by way of the fulfillment of the terms of competencies that must be mastered by every teacher, both in the field of material science expertise and mastery of the methodology. Teachers should be responsible for their duties and must develop friendship with fellow teachers through participation and organization of teacher professional development. To achieve conditions that professional teachers, the teachers have to make quality orientation and professionalism of teachers as their work ethic and make it as a cornerstone of orientation behavior in the duties of his profession. Therefore, the code of ethics of the teaching profession must be upheld. During its development, it was realized that the teaching profession is not in an ideal position as expected, but should continue to strive towards the best. At the time of implementation of regional autonomy and decentralization of education along with the growth and development of information technology is very rapid, it is understood that many of the challenges and opportunities that must be overcome to be completed by the teacher education providers and institutions.

Abstract

Epistemology is the study of philosophy what investigates about the source, requirements, and the process of knowledge. In western epistemology studies, its known schools of thought, such as empiricism, rationalism and intuitisme. In Islamic thought studies is also several major streams in relation to the theory of knowledge (epistemology). There are at least three models of thought systems in Islam, its named Bayani, Burhani and Irfani. The third epistemology should be dialogue and go hand in hand. So with this assumption, try to be revealed various problems in Islamic education, particularly related to Islamic education epistemology, and then look for a new alternative epistemological reconstruction of thought which is certainly more realistic, innovative, transformative, accommodative, ekuilibratif and dynamic.

Abstract

Several studies on the quality of education is often also called the school to study the effect of output ( output ) inferred by Suryadi education that , in developing countries the influence of school and teacher quality on student achievement is greater than the influence of the same factors in developed countries , but in developing countries the influence of family background on learning achievement is smaller. There are still many shortcomings in the Indonesian education system compared to the Finnish education system is in the form of small start of school board regulations for the students. Indonesia can still improve and review the education system that has long been used in Indonesia, so the education system in Indonesia could rise to at least rank qualification assessment by an international board of education. With so Indonesia can be proud of the education system, as well as with the quality of education in Indonesia will be juxtaposed with other countries in the world. Improving the quality of education in schools requires professional education and systematic in their objective. Effectiveness of educational activities in a school influenced many variables (both concerning the personal aspects, operational, and material) that need to get training and development in a sustainable manner. Coaching and development process is an assessment of the overall situation of education supervision .

Abstract

Lately Islamic School called madrasah as an institution of Islamic education get more attention and public trust in the appeal of public educational institutions, because madrasah will be able to fulfill the needs of science and religion, especially the religion of Islam. This research using “descriptive statistical” methods. This method is used to analyze the data in a way to describe or portray the collected data itself to the population. The Result of this research presented in the form of tables, graphs, pie charts, pictogram, calculation mode, median, mean, calculating deciles, percentiles, calculation of data spread through the calculation of average and standard deviation, percentage calculations. The factors affecting the level of discipline of MI Arrosidiyah teachers is low teacher income, family problems, work environment problem, individual teachers, and work culture. As a follow-up study of quality control is suggested to MI Arrosidiah to Increase teacher salaries, improve harmonization of family, school Enforcement, Improved motivation and Competitive Culture.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Public Relations is the management function which evaluates public attitudes, indentifies the policies and procedures of an inividual or organization with the public interest and axecutes a program of action to earn public understanding and acceptance. The principle of Public relations are Qaulan Ma’ruf, Qawlan Syahid,Qaulan Baligha, Qaulan Karimah, Qaulan Maysurah, dan Qaulan Layyinah. The relationship between school and internal public can be done by extracurricular, field trip, camping, field practice, internal meeting with teacher and community service. Strategy school in establish external public could be done in a form of report to students parents, school magazine, school exhibition, open house, school visitation, radio and television, letters and telephone. A synergy between educational institutions with the community (parents) can be created by taking the community as a partner. This level higher than only become the community as customer. In this case the community or parents involved in the policy making and planning in education. Thus people to determine the development of educational institutions that eventually impact on child development.

Abstract

Islamic education is transformatif of consciousness process which going on continous. Therefore, duty and functions of Islamic education is education for long life and sensitive for people requirement. This concept is mean that duty and fungtion of Islamic education focus on student which dynamic grow, from unborn child to be dead, prestige and moralty. This article analyses functions of Islamic education. The functions are focus on development of student. The objective of the analyses awakens our awareness of transformative, because it will lead our nation into a better future.

Abstract

People who are aware of the rights of citizens and carrying out his duty as a citizen, civilized, uphold humanitarian values, as well as the mastery of science and technology advance in the so-called civil society. This model of society as a dream of idealism and a focus for the world community to this day. Actually this discourse comes alongside the emerging issues of democratization and human rights, which means the same. Madani society is the greatest contribution in building a democracy in a country. And democracy will be realized if the people are aware of respect for human rights. The authors limited the concept of Madani society in the Quran cues associated with the concept of baldatun toyyibatun warobbun gofur and the concept of ummah, thus giving rise to one of the characteristics of this community is harmony in plurality.Masyarakat madani sebuah istilah yang merupakan masyarakat yang sadar akan hak-hak warga masyarakat dan melaksanakan kewajibannya sebagai warga negara, beradab, menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai kemanusiaan, serta maju dalam penguasaan iptek. Masyarakat madani menjadi impian dan fokus idealisme bagi masyarakat dunia sampai saat ini. Sebenarnya wacana ini hadir bersamaan dengan maraknya issu demokratisasi dan HAM, yang masing-masing mempunyai hubungan yang tidak dapat dipisahkan. Masyarakat madani merupakan sumbangan terbesar dalam membangun sebuah demokrasi dalam suatu negara. Dan demokrasi tersebut akan bisa terwujud kalau manusia sadar untuk menghargai hak asasi manusia. Adapun penulis membatasi konsep masyarakat madani dalam isyarat Al-Qur‟an dengan dikaitkan konsep baldatun thayyibatun wa rabbun ghafūr dan konsep Ummah, sehingga memunculkan salah satu ciri dari masyarakat ini adalah kerukunan dalam pluralitas.

Abstract

Islamic presence in Spain has brought tremendous change, especially in social and science and culture. The development of Spanish civilization Islam is formed not just by the touch of the tradition of Arab-Islamic culture multicultural society is what ultimately bound together and form a high Islamic culture at that time. The development of science is also not out of tolerance and friendship offered Islam to the indigenous population that is resident Andalusia or Spain. Traversed a long history of Muslims in Spain it can be divided into six periods, but in this paper is defined only up to the third period, this period lasts from government Abd al-Rahman III title "An-Nasir" until the emergence of al-Mulk Tawaif (kings of the group). Development of Education in Spain, In order to disseminate knowledge further, Caliph Abd-ar-Rahman III tried pioneered by founding the University of Cordova as a center of science. The university is taking place in a mosque. Based on the literature that discusses the history of education and history of Islamic civilization outline of Islamic education in Spain is divided in two sections or levels, namely kuttab and higher education.

Abstract

The emergence of radicalism and violence in the name of religion has flourished even has penetrated the territory of educational institutions. Therefore, the importance of the role of Islamic education teachers in guarding the character of peace love is necessary, peace love/nationalism can be enhanced through Islamic education and not only become the burden of civic education teachers. Thus this research is important to do. Purpose-This study aims to explain and develop the role of Islamic education teachers in improving the character of student nationalism. Design/methodology-This research uses library research by collecting some related books and journals to analyze the content of the role of Islamic education teachers in improving student nationalism. Findings-The role of Islamic education teachers in improving student nationalism can be through; the internalization of the value of nationalism into the school culture, the integration of nationalism in the learning of Islamic education. Originality/Value-The character of nationalism is not only shaped by citizenship education teachers but can be through Islamic education teachers. understanding Islam in its entirety will automatically lead to peaceful love behavior.

Abstract

The background of research is the phenomena of madrasah decreasing in West Java to develop its capacity in the effectivity. The program of SNIP MDC in Effective School Improvement (ESI) gave encouraging and training to its effectivity. The purposes of this research are: 1) analyzing training effectivity of ESI; and 2) analyzing training relevancy toward its capacity. The research used qualitative approach by descriptive method. The source of data is madrasah as unit of analysis (such as principal, treasurer, and parent commitee), by techniques of interview, observation, checklist, and documentation. The conclusion are: 1) ESI training has good effectivity. That was showed by increasing post test based pre test, and knowledge increasing by good effect size; and 2) The increasing of relevance and effective has high index more than 80% and that showed by credit program fulfillment at 85,35%.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena lemahnya madrasah di wilayah Jawa Barat dalam mengembangkan kapasitas kelembagaan yang efektif. Program SNIP MDC Jawa Barat dengan program Pengembangan Madrasah Efektif (PME) memberikan dorongan dan pelatihan bagi madrasah sasaran untuk mengembangkan efektifitas madrasah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) menganalisis efektifitas pelatihan PME yang dilaksanakan oleh SNIP MDC Jawa Barat; dan 2) menganalisis tingkat relevansi pelatihan terhadap pengembangan kapasitas kelembagaan madrasah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian adalah pihak madrasah sasaran (kepala madrasah, komite, dan yayasan). Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakanadalah wawancara, observasi, instrument daftar ceklist, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian menghasilkan kesimpulan sebagai berikut: 1) Pelatihan PME dipandang memiliki efektifitas yang baik. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan peningkatan nilai post test berdasarkan pretest, dengan perubahan pengetahuan pada peserta dengan effect size yang cukup bagus; 2) Secara keseluruhan dapat dinyatakan bahwa tingkat relevansi dan efektifitas pelatihan Pengembangan Madrasah Efektif sangat tinggi. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan angka pencapaian indeks relevansi melebihi 80%, juga dibuktikan oleh rata-rata pencapaian pemenuhan output tagihan dengan nilai 85,35%.
