Abstract

This study aims to: (1) knowing how clinical supervision conducted by the supervisor in improving the quality of micro teaching on campus; (2) knowing how clinical supervision conducted by teachers in improving the quality PPL officials at the school; (3) knowing how to create communications in a holistic relationship between the teacher tutors, lecturers, and students prospective educators in order to improve the micro and PPL learning in school; (4) determine how the shape of clinical supervision is expected to improve the quality of prospective teachers in the Teachers' Training College PGRI Madiun. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. Teachers' Training College campus research locations PGRI Madiun and PPL schools in the district of Madiun, Magetan and Madiun. The data source of this research is: (a) a resource which consists of officials from the campus and school officials; lecturers, teachers, tutors, students prospective educator, (b) the activity in the form of classroom practice, (c) records and documents in the form syllabus and RPP artificial prospective educators. Data collection techniques used: (a) in-depth interviews, (b) observation, (c) documentation. Sampling using purposive sampling, time sampling, and internal sampling. Validation data using triangulation techniques and informants review. Data analysis techniques using an interactive model. The results of the study as follows: (1) Supervision is done by the supervisor in micro teaching still various learning implementation. This is because the faculty of understanding of the basic principles of clinical supervision and technical implementation is not optimally controlled. (2) Supervision is done by the teacher in the PPL officials at the school has been good, although still need to be improved. Teacher tutors do not fully understand the concept of technical and operational how clinical supervision implemented, but they are already implementing sharing and discussions with well although still individualistic. (3) The ability of the students in the PPL and the creation of a holistic communication between teachers and tutors, lecturers, and students prospective educators in micro and PPL learning in schools needs to be improved, especially in the ability to speak, eight teaching skills, and mastery of subject material. (4) The form of supervision is expected in the future to improve the quality of learning and PPL i.e., micro supervision of academic clinics actually do the sharing, clinical discussions, providing feedback about the weakness of the practitioner that can be corrected optimally.

Abstract

Learning process at SMK Ma'arif 2 Sleman still passive and uncontrolled, this condition affects to the student learning outcomes. The role of the teacher in the learning process needs to be improved with the right methods to make students more active and encourage the student to solve the problems. Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is one of learning method which the characteristics capable of demanding learners actively and directly involved in the learning. The Aim of this study is want to know affect  PBL method can increase the activity and psychomotor learning outcomes of students. The subjects were students of class XI SMK Ma'arif  2014/2015 academic year. Collecting data used in this research is qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed an increase in activity of learners by 12.98% and psychomotor learning outcomes by implementing PBL increased 9.01%. The conclusion using PBL method was known that activities of students increase practical subject.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) acquire the form of the development of physics oriented learning module SETS (2) Determine the increase studens critical thinking skills after participating physics module SETS result oriented evelopment. The research was conducted in MAN 1 Madiun, with the sample and the population of student of class X. Trial conducted in small class and large class. Used technique of data collection is open questionnaire, pre test ang post test. Pre-requisite test result of analysis is the test of normality Liliefors and homogeneity Bartlett. Result of test analysis instrument using validity, reliability, level of difficulty and different power problems. Result of this research are (1) the result of the assessment carried out by the validator to the development of product obtained an average score of 3,21,considered feasible (2,8 < X  3,4). Result of student responses when small class test showed a good response with an average score 3,28 and an average score 3,23 in the limited class test,then the product is appropriate to the student's response. (2) increase student critical thinking abilities showed moderate improvement, it can be seen from the average of n-gain obtained 0,6 (0,3 < g0,7). (3)conclusion of development SETS based modules to improve critical thinking ability equivalent high school student on the topic of dynamic electricity decent quality for use by the user in the learning process.

Abstract

The character is a distinctive personality of each individual to live and work, both in the scope of the family, community, nation and state. Arts and culture in elementary school in 2004 as a core curriculum capacity building in the field of aesthetics has a potential role to support and realize the whole Indonesian human character. This study describes the implementation and planting constraints positive character of students in arts and culture in SDN Jogodayuh 1, District Geger, Madison County. This study used a qualitative research design with a phenomenological approach. Triangulation of data is done by using triangulation and triangulation methods. The results of this study indicate that many of the benefits obtained by the students in the study of art and culture in primary schools include: (1) deepen wonderfully flavors, (2) knowledge of the objective and subjective elements, (3) strengthen the love for the arts and culture, (4) foster subtlety of flavor, (5) deepen the culture, (6) assess the work of art, (7) awareness on the negative effects, (8) to strengthen public confidence, (9) discipline, and (10) provide extensive insight and provision for spiritual and psychological life.

Abstract

AbstractResearch and development are done because there is no increase in the ability to describe the system of central government level through learning Jurisprudence. Research and development carried out by using the stages of the implementation of the action research consisted of planning, administration action, observation, analysis and reflection. The research subject is the fourth­grade students of SDN 01 District Wungu Wungu Madiun in the second semester 2015/2016 on Citizenship Education Subjects. The instrument of this study is the observation of student activity sheets, documentation, taping data and tests. Based on the results of classroom action research obtained and of the study of theory in this study it can be concluded as follows: (1) there is an increased ability affective fourth grade students of SD Negeri Wungu 01 District Wungu Madiun after applied learning cycle model Jurispudensi Teaching Model (learning Jurisprudence), (2) with increased skills and abilities affective process there will be increased interest in teaching citizenship education elementary school fourth grade students Wungu 01 District Wungu Madiun after learning applied learning cycle model Jurisprudence Teaching Model (learning Jurisprudence).AbstrakPenelitian pengembangan dilakukan karena belum ada peningkatan kemampuan mendeskripsikan sistem pemerintahan tingkat pusat melalui pembelajaran Yurisprudensi. Penelitian pengembangan dilakukan dengan menggunakan tahap-tahap pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas terdiri dari perencanaan, pemberian tindakan, observasi, analisis dan refleksi. Subjek Penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Wungu 01 Kecamatan Wungu Madiun pada semester II tahun 2015/2016 pada Mata Pelajaran PKn. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, dokumentasi, perekaman data dan tes. Bardasarkan hasil penelitian tindakan kelas yang diperoleh dan dari kajian teori dalam penelitian ini maka dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: (1) terdapat peningkatan kemampuan afektif siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Wungu 01 Kecamatan Wungu Madiun setelah diterapkan pembelajaran model siklus belajar Jurispudensi Teaching Model (pembelajaran Yurisprudensi), (2) dengan meningkatnya keterampilan proses dan kemampuan afektif maka akan terdapat peningkatan minat belajar pendidikan kewarganegaraan siswa kelas IV  SD Negeri Wungu 01 Kecamatan Wungu Madiun setelah diterapkan pembelajaran model siklus belajar Jurispudensi Teaching Model (pembelajaran Yurisprudensi).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the ability to think creatively in elementary grade students in open-ended mathematics problems. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach that seeks to analyze creative thinking ability of students in open-ended mathematics problems. The subjects were students of class V SDN Kawedanan 2, Kawedanan, Magetan. The subjects were 6 students consisting of two students in high category, 2 students in medium category, and 2 students in low category. Data collection techniques were used are observation, tests and interviews. Data analysis was performed with data reduction, data presentation and verification or conclusion. Technique authenticity of data is done by triangulation of data sources. The results show the good ability of creative thinking of students in higher category and medium category in solving open-endedmathematics problems. Creative thinking ability of students in lower category is the lack of good criteria. Overall for low ability students still need guidance.

Abstract

Orientation: Using technique in teaching is used to improve students' cerativity and ability in writing that help students in process of prewriting, writing, editing phase, revising, and evaluatin. Researcher tried to campare in using teaching technique based on students' self-actualization. Research purpose: This research is aimed at finding out whether: (1) Paper Seminar technique is moreeffective than Peer Editing Technique to teach writing skill; (2) the students having high selfactualization have better writing skill than those having low self-actualization; and (3) there is an interaction between teaching techniques and students' self-actualization in teaching writing to the third semester students of English Department, IKIP PGRI Madiun in the academic year of 2013/2014.Research design: The research method was an experimental study. The researcher used cluster random sampling to get the sample. There were two classes used as sample. One class consisted of 30 students who were experimental class taught by Paper Seminar technique and the other 30 students were as control class taught by Peer Editing technique. The instruments of collecting data are writing test and questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using multifactor analysis of variance 2x2. Then, it was analyzed by using Tukey test. Main Finding: The research findings show that: (1) Paper Seminartechnique is more effective than Peer Editing technique; (2) The students having high selfactualization have better writing skill than those having low self-actualization; and (3) There is an interaction between teaching techniques and students' self-actualization in teaching writing. Based on the research findings, in general it can be concluded that Paper Seminar technique is an effectivetechnique to teach writing. Therefore, the teacher is suggested to apply Paper Seminar technique for teaching writing.

Abstract

Some linguists argue about the definition of reading, WJS Poerwodarminto (1976: 71) says that reading is seen while express an article with the aim to determine its contents. Another opinion expressed by Kastowo (1978: 1) that reading is catching an understanding through writing. Based on the above opinion, the reading reveals not only writing but also understanding the text. The formulation of this research as follows: "Is there an ability increasing to understand the rather long text (150-200 words), manual guide, the meaning of words in a dictionary / encyclopedia through portfolio learning model of the second semester of the fourth grade students of SDN Kebonsari 01 Madiun in the Schooling Year 2011/2012? "study, researchers collaborate with other teachers and the principals. Researchers involved in the study from the beginning to the end of the study. Researcher is trying to see, observe, feel, live, reflect and evaluate learning activities. The stages of research consist of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The study collected data were statistically analyzed using the formula that is mean or average to get accurate results. From the analysis and observations on this study and refers to the hypothesis can be concluded that: there is an increased ability to understand the text rather long (150-200 words), manual guide, the meaning of words in a dictionary / encyclopedia through cooperative learning model of fourth grade students of SDN 01 Kebonsari in the Schooling year 2011/2012.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of the Corporate Social Responsibility disclosure on stock prices and find out if the firm's size is able to be variable moderating the influence of CSR disclosure to the stock price. The study was conducted at a mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2011-2013. The samples using purposive sampling and obtained a sample of 10 companies with annual report data during 2011-2013 were 30 reports. Data analysis used thedifference absolute value. The test results show that corporate social responsibility disclosure has significant positive effect on stock prices. The testing of difference absolute value shows that the firm's size is not a moderating variable to influence corporate social responsibility disclosure to the stock price.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mathematical communication profile secondary school students in solving mathematical problems regarding linguistic intelligence. Determination of the subjects in this study is based on linguistic intelligence test scores eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 A western numbering 35 students. Based on the results of the linguistic intelligence test scores have six subjects were categorized into three categories, namely two subjects with high linguistic intelligence, two subjects with moderate linguistic intelligence, and two subjects with low linguistic intelligence. This type of research is qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques in this study were obtained based on the results of tests, interviews, and documentation. Technique authenticity of data is done by a triangulation method. Data analysis was performed with data reduction, data presentation and verification of data. The conclusion of this study were (1) students with a high in linguistic intelligence has a tendency to comply with all aspects of mathematical communication, (2) students with linguistic intelligence medium category have a tendency to meet aspects mathematical communication, but the aspect of using representation thoroughly to express the concept of mathematics and solutions and strategies stated settlement of a problem are small, (3) students with linguistic intelligence little category have a tendency mathematical communication is low, it can be seen in every aspect of mathematical communication pertained mostly low category.
