Abstract

PT. Lafarge Holcim Cement Indonesia is one of the cement companies focusing on construction. The aim of this study is to analyze the sales forecasting applied to know the next period using Triple Exponential Smoothing. The results showed that the values of MAD, MSE and MAPE for PCC's bag are 3980, 20925291 and 13%, respectively. Meanwhuile, the values for OPC's bag are 105, 19497 and 14%, respectively. Furthermore, the forcasting result of the next period of cement selling for PCC's and OPC's bag are 32498 and 792, respectively. Triple exponential smoothing method is a suitable method to forecast the case that has small bias, such as the case in PT. Lafarge Holcim Cement Indonesia.

Abstract

Oil palm empty fruit bunches (OPEFB), have not many been used as a have economic value material. OPEFB fiber content can be using as a filler to composites fabrication. The fiber contained in the OPEFB can be increase composites quality because have high thermal and mechanical properties. SEM analysis shows that OPEFB waste with a size of 63 and 90 ?m is suitable to be use as a filler because of the compatibility of the fiber and matrix matrix. As with the results of the DSC analysis, the melting point of HDPE-TKKS composite with 63 ?m fiber size reaches 133.58 0C while the melting point of HDPE-TKKS composite with 90 ?m fiber size reaches 134.41 0C. The FTIR test results also show that the indications of the two samples have the same chemical composition, namely lignicellulose. The best tensile strength is obtained which is equal to 21.11 MPa and the force required to break the composite is 391.56 N, these results were obtained from composites with a ratio of 60: 40 (matrix : filler) and 90 µm fiber size.Key words: Plastic, HDPE, fiber, OPEFB, composite

Abstract

Many industries produce waste that cannot be reused, especially in the process of cutting raw materials. The use of raw materials that are not optimal indicates that the pattern of item placement on raw materials produces waste which cannot be used for other needs. This problem is known as cutting stock problem. This study aims to reduce the waste that arises when cutting raw material sheets into small pieces needed in the industry by developing a website as a tool in completing the placement of cutting patterns on raw materials. The developed website describes the results of optimal placement patterns in the form of images for 1 and 2 dimensions with the genetic algorithm method as an optimization algorithm using rectangle packing sequence in codification, cornerset modification algorithm on decoding, parameterized uniform crossover on crossover, roulette wheel on selection, and random generated mutations. Website development is made with hypertext markup language to display various information needed, cascading style sheets to arrange components in structured and uniform websites, and javascript to create genetic algorithm logic. This research resulted in the placement of cutting patterns on sheets of raw material on the canvas by labeling the names of each item.

Abstract

Narwastu Firm is a company in Surabaya which produces traditional body care and aromatherapy. During the product distribution, this company encounters many mistakes such as inappropriateness between Purcashing Order (PO) from distributors/consumers and the goods delivered due to bullwhip effects. Therefore, this research aimed at reducing the bullwhip effects by implementing Collaborative, Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR) method and investigating a lot sizing technique for producing minimum distribution cost by Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) method in order to regulate order and plan a certain distribution activity. The research results demonstrated that the bullwhip effect values after CPFR improvement of two products that could be repaired were 1.0 for Body Scrub Goats Milk Balibloom (BSC GM BB) 200 gr and 0.96 for Body Mist Sparkling White (BM SW) 60 ml. Meanwhile, the calculations by Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) method with Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method got the plans for ordering Body Scrub Lightening (BSC LIGHT) 200 gr by 182 times with total cost IDR 96,886,476 and Body Lotion Lightening (BL LIGHT) 250 ml by  235 times with total cost IDR 125,873,816.

Abstract

Seperti yang kita ketahui, tata letak fasilitas merupakan hal yang sangat penting karena berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas kerja. Di industri manufaktur, perancangan dan optimasi tata letak fasilitas umumnya dilakukan dengan pendekatan facility layout planning berdasarkan kriteria ongkos material handling. Pendekatan tersebut memiliki beberapa kelemahan, salah satunya adalah bias terkait jarak dan kurang mempertimbangkan faktor lain seperti faktor psikologis dan perspektif dari pengguna/operator. Virtual reality (VR) dan 3D Virtual prototyping adalah salah satu pendekatan terkini yang dimanfaatkan dalam perancangan dan optimasi tata letak fasilitas. Penelitian ini adalah tahap awal dari pengembangan prosedur perancangan tempat kerja secara virtual dengan mengintegrasikan pendekatan facility layout planning dan simulasi VR. Penelitian ini menggunakan data empirik yang diperoleh dari studi kasus pada salah satu perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak di bidang usaha konveksi. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa 3D Virtual prototyping dari rancangan tata letak fasilitas yang nantinya akan dievaluasi menggunakan simulasi VR.

Abstract

PT KERAMIK XYZ is one of the companies engaged in the production of ceramics. The company sometimes subjected to declining wall tiles on the market and at warehouses where wall ceramic stocks are sometimes subjected to buildup. Therefore, the research of "Information System Prediction Stock and Warehouse Utility" uses the Fuzzy Time Series Markov Chain method and Fuzzy Mamdani Method. So that the problem of ceramic wall stock and the layout of the placement of ceramic wall stock in the warehouse does not occur again and can be resolved. In the Fuzzy Time Series Markov Chain method, the calculation of prediction results of ceramic stocks of the Base Tile dCaliza Valle type results in forecasting values of (0, 717, 483, 483), then by means of the MAPE (Mean Absolute Percent Error) test method produces an error percentage of 13%. The results of the calculation of the level of accuracy are good and can be used in this case study. So, the results of the calculation of the level of accuracy are good and can be used in this case study. Then for the results of the prediction of the layout of the ceramic stock placement in the warehouse using the Fuzzy Mamdani method get an accurate calculation of 22%.

Abstract

Kota kediri merupakan kota yang kental dengan sejarah , alam,  budaya dan agama. Dengan beragamnya kebudayaan dan agama tersebut Kota Kediri belum mempunyai objek wisata dari segi religi islami. Sejarah perkembangan Islam dan pengaruh Islam dikota tersebut sangat besar dan mayoritas penduduknya memeluk agama islam. Komplek museum wali songo merupakan salah satu cara mengembangkan sektor pariwisata di Kota tersebut dari segi religi Islami. Komplek museum ini menyajikan fasilitas yang lebih lengkap dan lebih interaktif. Selain sebagai museum , kawasan ini juga sebagai wadah kegiatan masyarakat sekitar dan sebagai Ruang Terbuka Hijau sebagai indikator kota sehat. Mengunakan analisis deskriptif untuk mengulas objek bentuk dan ruang pada museum tersebut . Konsep Bentuk dengan pendekatan Arsitektur Vernakullar Jawa Timur yang terdiri dari empat tlatah yang berbeda , diaplikasikan pada bentuk museum tersebut dengan tampilan yang lebih modern dan heterogen . Konsep Tata Ruang mengadopsi dari Vernakullar Ruang Pada Rumah Jawa Timur yang secara garis besar dibagi menjadi tiga zona , Pendopo , Pringgitan dan Omah Dalem. Sehingga kesatuan antara Bentuk dan Ruang memiliki kesatuan sehingga dapat mempermudah pengujung dalam mengenali karakter masing-masing Wali Songo dan memberikan edukasi tentang hubungan kebudayaan asli Jawa dan Agama Islam yang dibawakan oleh Wali Songo.

Abstract

Most people have electronic units. Electronic units also have advantages and disadvantages. As  the advantages, electronic is that it can simplifies human-work, for example, people used to wash their clothes in a bare hand. Since the existence a washing machine, people only need to put dirty clothes into the tub then the wash-machine does the rest. For the disadvantages, electronics have an expiration date. If the  electronics are on the expiration period, the performance decreased. The problem can overcome by repairing the stuff. If someone cannot to repair electronics the item itself, then requires someone else who is capable to solve it in the field.  To ease the time looking for services that are nearby to the user’s current location is possible. The system has been implemented on smartphone devices with an Android and Web-connected to the internet. The system help users to get information on the location of the nearest electronic service service and display service progress in realtime.The results provide a reference to the implementation of the Haversine Algorithm for distance calculation formula using GPS on an Android smartphone. This system proposes a solution as a liaison between service buyers and service providers. For electronic service providers can be used as a medium for promotion. The application is convenience in getting the nearest location for service, displays the service progress and with distance and location information features in this system can provide a reference for buyers of electronic services.

Abstract

Waste management is great importance conducted to avoid environmental pollutant. Some wastes. There are some wastes of Hazardous and Toxic Materials categories. Motorcycle workshop which is located in Menganti, Gresik Regency, East Java is able to repair three to six motorcycles every day. The workshop area is 6 x3 m2. This workshop produced solid waste. The solid wastes were metal and non-metal. Metal consists of nuts, couplers and welding scraps. Nonmetal wastes were rags, oil, and used tires. Non-metal solid waste was rags which have been contaminated by oil/ rubber solvent, sponges/foam, leather, and imitate leather and plastics used. The emergence of B3 toxic waste (organic) total was 18.200ml for 7 days and the emergence of flammable waste was 4000ml for 7 days. Whereas, the solid waste generated in 7 days was 34.200 grams. In the management of hazardous waste and toxic has general provisions which is used like it must be strong, durable, and it was not easily rusting. Waste has different characteristic if it was kept in a storage. It had potential for mixing from 2 different characteristics of B3 waste and it could give unwanted reaction. B3 waste transportation used a pick up. The vehicle used was not accordance to the standard to transport B3 waste safely and it gave high risk of shocks and it could make the drums overthrown from the pickup.
