Abstract

Environmental degradation makes people affected of damage to the environment itself. One of suggested solution is the development of ecological intelligence. The forms of ecological intelligence can be seen on lettuce farmer’s behavior in Parongpong District, West Bandung Regency. The farmer has a variety of knowledge about environmental pollution by seeing the harvest of lettuces, in terms of the attitude of the population to prohibit and do not agree with everything that is damaging to the environment Participation of the residents in conducting environmental conservation is evident from modifying land by taking into account the possible risk of damage. We can learn the values of ecological intelligence watercress farmers in Sub Parongpong, West Bandung Regency to improve ecological intelligence as one of the solutions to problems are local but able to be generalized in the form of global.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the intensity of consumption of local food sources of carbohydrates non-rice in the fulfillment of energy and protein according to the number recommended dietary pattern hope WKNPG VIII 2004 and to see the extent of community efforts in diversification efforts carbohydrate source non-farm household and farm in the hamlet of East and Ngulakan Selo Village Hargorejo District Kokap. By multistage sampling method and Slovin formula obtained a sample of 120 people. Based on the review concluded non-farm households and farmers are not applying food diversification in daily consumption. The intensity of consumption of local food sources of carbohydrates non-rice is still very low or not in accordance with the recommended figure.

Abstract

Water is a vital natural resource for human beings, while the existing water supply can not keep pace with developments that occur in all sectors of life. Therefore research on the evaluation and water compliance level should be done. The method used in this research was descriptive explorative method with population area on all land use in sub-watershed Cikeruh River, sampling research used purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used were field observation, literature study and documentation study. The data analysis was determined by the water balance formula and by counting the amount of water demand for land use in the Cikeruh sub watershed. The results showed that the availability of raw water insub-watershed Cikeruh River was positive in November – April, and  May – October is negative, water is sufficient to meet the needs of the household, livestock and industry sectors, so it can not meet the water needs in the agricultural sector.

Abstract

Dalam pembelajaran Geografi, kecerdasan spasial merupakan komponen yang penting karena Geografi merupakan disiplin ilmu yang mempelajari tentang ruang (space). Lingkungan sekolah memiliki pengaruh terhadap peningkatan kecerdasan spasial peserta didik. Namun sampai saat ini belum ditemukan penjelasan yang spesifik tentang mekanisme pengaruh lingkungan sekolah terhadap kecerdasan spasial. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dan dilakukan di SMA negeri di Kota Bandung dan SMA negeri Kabupaten Bandung dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 264 responden yang tersebar di sembilan sekolah. Pengaruh lingkungan sekolah terhadap kecerdasan spasial dapat dijelaskan dengan analisis jalur yang melibatkan dua variabel lain, yakni affordance dan geo-literacy. Adapun kesimpulan yang dihasilkan yaitu (1) lingkungan sekolah tidak signifikan berpengaruh terhadap affordance; (2) lingkungan sekolah dan affordance secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap geo-literacy; (3) affordance dan geo-literacy secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap kecerdasan spasial. Peneliti merekomendasikan agar konsep kecerdasan spasial dalam pembelajaran Geografi terus dikaji untuk melahirkan konsep yang valid dan baku. Kata kunci: Lingkungan sekolah, affordance, geo-literacy, kecerdasan spasial, analisis jalur.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the extent of globalization competition which requires students to have creative thinking skills in finding solutions of all life problems. To overcome those things, the efforts need to be made, hence, one of them is by using problem-based learning. Research was conducted in class X in SMAN Negeri 2 Bandung with 54 students participated in this research. Furthermore, this study used quantitative research with experimental approaches. The techniques for data collection was done by using the test (pretest and posttest), non-test (attitude scale with Likert category), and the teachers and learners observation sheet. Data analysis techniques were done with the help of SPSS for Windows version 20.0 to test data normality, data homogeneity and t-test. The findings showed that 1) before and after treatment was given, there were differences in the results of tests of creative thinking skills in the classroom using problem-based learning, 2) before and after treatment was given, this was revealed that there were differences in the results of tests of creative thinking skills in the class that did not use problem based learning, 3) there was no difference in the results of tests of creative thinking skills in the classroom use and are not using problem-based learning before treatment is given, 4) after treatment was given, this was found that there were differences in the results of tests of creative thinking skills between the class which used and which did not used problem-based learning.

Abstract

The Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) is an archipelago country characterized by the archipelago with its territories and boundaries and rights established by law. As a country that has signed UNCLOS (United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea), the territorial sea of NKRI is divided into 7 areas, namely Internal Waters, Archipelagic Waters, Territorial Sea, Contiguous Zone, Exclusive Economic Zone (ZEE), Continental Shelf and High Seas. The laws and regulations governing the principles of ZEE are Law 5/1983 on Exclusive Economic Zone, Law 6/1996 on Indonesian Waters and Law 32/2014 on Marine. The method used to perform the analysis is a comparative method, which is to compare between the parameters specified. In ZEE NKRI, other countries also have rights and obligations in laying2 submarine cables and pipelines. This has not been discussed in the Marine Law and should be discussed in the Marine Law in order to preserve the territorial sea of ZEE NKRI.

Abstract

This study focused on the utilization of the geosphere phenomenon in learning geography for understanding the concept of disaster. Geosphere phenomenon based learning are formulated based on a literature review for obtain theoretical foundations that have the basic assumptions, descriptions, and basic concepts. Geosphere phenomenon based learning consists of seven steps activity that is (1) identification of basic competence; (2) identification of the geosphere phenomenon which has a carrying capacity; (3) identification of the ability of teachers; (4) identification of the characteristics of the students; (5) to formulate lesson plans; (6) implementing the learning activities; and (7) follow-up. Meanwhile, the learning process through four steps, that is (1) The concept exploration phase; (2) the stage of introduction of the concept; (3) the stage of development of the concept; and (4) the stage of concept application. Understanding the concept of a hierarchy of integrated disaster include: (1) the level of concrete); (2) the level of identity; (3) the level of classification; and (4) a formal level. The effectiveness of the geosphere phenomenon based learning teachers ability methodologically necessary and substantial.

Abstract

The aims of this research are: (1) To identify geographical condition in West Bandung regency related to geopark development (2) To analyze Geopark condition Based on Geo-diversity, Bio-diversity and Cultural-diversity. (3) Identify the various efforts that can be done for the development of Geopark area in West Bandung regency. This research is descriptive research with survey method. The results showed that the geographical conditions are very diverse, there are various formations covered by various variations of rocks. Ikim belongs to the middle classification. The results of research have 15 locations that have potential to become Geopark Area. Sturges calculation shows that West Bandung regency worthy to be made Geopark Area. Scoring results on variables expressed by the Global Geopark Network is still somewhat less so that requires management to make West Bandung District as a Geopark Area.Keywords: bio-diversity, cultural-diversity, geodiversity, geopark

berada. Lokasi tanah biasanya berhubungan dengan kedekatan tanah tersebut dengan fasilitas tertentu. dalam penelitian ini yang dibahas adalah kedekatan dengan fasilitas transportasi darat dan udara. Fasilitas transportasi darat dan udara dapat menimbulkan dampak positif dan dampak negatif untuk nilai tanah. Tujuan penenelitian ini adalah ingin mengembangkan model penilaian tanah untuk mengakomodasi dampak yang ditimbulkan oleh keberadaan fasilitas transportasi darat dan udara. Pemodelan nilai tanah menggunakan Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR). Pemodelan nilai tanah dengan GWR akan mendapatkan model di tiap persil. Fasilitas transportasi yang dijadikan parameter penilaian untuk nilai tanah ini adalah lebar jalan. radius bandara. radius rel kereta api. jarak ke stasiun. jarak ke terminal. jarak ke pasar. jarak ke pemadam kebakaran. jarak ke rumah sakit. status hukum lahan. guna lahan. dan kesesuaian lahan.  Model GWR yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini menggunakan kernel fixed gaussian dan fixed bisquare dengan pencarian bandwidth optimum menggunakan Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) dan Cross Validation (CV). Selain dengan GWR. dilakukan juga pemodelan dengan regresi linier. Analisis model dilakukan dengan melihat residu antara variabel dependen, yaitu Nilai Indikasi Rata-rata (NIR) dan Zona Nilai Tanah (ZNT) Badan Pertanahan Nasional (BPN). Perbandingan juga dilakukan tiap persil dengan survey lapangan. Model yang dipilih untuk merepresentasikan daerah Kelurahan Campaka adalah GWR dengan fixed gaussian dan AIC. Pemilihan ini berdasarkan nilai root mean square error (RMSE) dan kondisi nilai tanah.

Abstract

Masih kurangnya pemanfaatan media dalam prose pembelajaran yang berhubungan dengan ruang, akibatnya kemampuan spatial literacy peserta didik kurang berkembang. Peserta didik cenderung pasif dan cepat merasa bosan mengikuti pembelajaran. Rendahnya spatial literacy peserta didik dapat menyebabkan mereka kurang cermat dalam hal mengambil keputusan dan memecahkan masalah keruangan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini dilakukan berkaitan dengan pemanfaatan media peta dalam pembelajaran IPS di SD Laboratorium Percontohan UPI. Penelitian ini merupakan ekperimen kuasi menggunakan desain nonequivalent groups pre test - post tes pada kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas IV SD Laboratorium Percontohan UPI. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes dan angket. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji Mann Whitney. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan media peta dalam pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan spatial literacy peserta didik. Hal ini terlihat dari peningkatan jumlah benar pada setiap indikator spatial literacy yang diberikan. Indikator tersebut adalah menentukan lokasi, mengidentifikasi orientasi keruangan, menentukan jarak terdekat serta mengidentifikasi objek melalui simbol-simbol pada peta. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi saran bagi guru dan pihak sekolah untuk terus memfasilitasi pembelajaran IPS dengan media yang sesuai terutama media peta untuk materi yang terkait dengan ruang, sehingga dapat meningkatkan spatial literacy peserta didik.
