Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of promotional mix of decision making in choosing Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo (UMSIDA) on alumni of SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 3 Porong. This type of research is quantitative, with the type of descriptive correlational research. Population and sample in this research are alumni of SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 3 Porong counted 91 people. Data collection using Likert Scale, with five alternative answers or scores. Methods of data collection using questionnaires with multiple linear regression analysis techniques using SPSS V16.0 program. The result of this research is promotion mix influencing decision making process of choosing UMSIDA 45,9% and the rest equal to 54,1% influenced by factors not examined. From the partial test, the most influential promotional mix in decision making is advertising, while public relations and personal selling have no influence in decision making of UMSIDA.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of Quality Assurance (QA) communication to improve employee performance of production department at PT Sinar Djaja Can reviewed in mini audit communication that is from management, organization, communication, and feedback aspects. This research uses quantitative explanative method, with total population of 200 employees of production department. Samples taken as many as 67 employees. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling technique. While the data analysis technique through multiple linear regression formula. The results of this study show that employee performance is influenced by management, organization, communication, and feedback. This is reinforced by R Square of 90.9%. This can be interpreted if the QA communication is improved then the performance of employees will increase in terms of quality, quantity, and utilization of time, so as to minimize the decline in quality standards of production and customer complaints. The other aspects are influenced by other variables outside the study.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the function of videotron as information media of Sidoarjo local government’s public relations. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Informants in this study is Sidoarjo local government’s public relations and five people of users Jl A Yani Sidoarjo. Data collection techniques used in this study are in-depth interviews (indepth interview), observation, and documentation. Data analysis developed by Miles and Hubberman includes data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the videotron function that is managed by Sidoarjo local government’s public relations is considered quite effective in assisting the performance and Sidoarjo local government’s public relations role as a communicator to convey all important information related to administration of Sidoarjo Local Government.

Abstract

This study aims to know how the pattern of interpersonal communication that occurs between parents and children with speech delay. While the use of this study is as a reference for parents, educators, observers and responsible of education in general in an effort to instill a good example of children and also in an effort to apply good interpersonal communication patterns between both parties. The data collection methods are in-depth interviews and observations. In the process of improving interpersonal communication patterns in parents and children found some obstacles both in the elderly and early age children. The results of this study indicate that the role of parents in establishing interpersonal communication patterns of early childhood greatly affect the behavior of young children. Therefore parents should be able to apply good interpersonal communication patterns to early childhood with speech delay and maintain an intense relationship to reduce the impact of speech delay from internal and external influences.

Abstract

Bonek is called to support the football team Persebaya Surabaya. Bonek image could not be separated from the abbreviation of the word itself, namely "bondo nekat" or dare to do anything to support the team despite not having capital (material). This research explained the shift of group identity shown by Bonek Kampus community through instagram @bonekcampus27 account. The object of this research was text image or writing in the form of caption, which is posted in account @bonekcampus27. Data analyzed Roland Barthes semiotics. The results showed that the figure of Bonek as a supporter of football club Persebaya Surabaya had a different image or stereotype with other supporters. Bonek was no longer labeled with a frightening appearance or behavior that threatens the safety and security of society, but shifts to bonek as a supporter who sincerely supports the success and progress of the team Persebaya Surabaya, had ethics and uphold sports values.

Abstract

The organic fertilizer is a fertilizer which made from organic materials, most of the materials used are from plants, land animals and sea animals (fish), so that the fertilizer produced in the form of solid or liquid. One of the organic liquid which produced with fish is biofish. The adoption of organic liquid biofish fertilizer becomes one of farmers' efforts to increase rice planting production. This study aims are to analyze descriptively about knowledge, attitude, decision, implementation and confirmation about organic liquid biofish fertilizer. The determination of area in this research is using purposive method. The location decided for this research is in Muncar Sub-district of Banyuwangi Regency. The research method uses qualitative approach. The method of determining key informant is using Purposive Sampling. The methods of data collection are using interviews, observations, and documents. The data analysis methods are going to be analyzed by reduction, display, conclusion drawing / verification. The method of data validity uses source triangulation. The results showed that farmers' knowledge of biofuel organic fertilizer is good, the farmers are happy and they also like using organic biofertilizer, the farmers receive innovative organic biofuel fertilizer. Although, sometimes they still stop applying and reusing it, but most of farmers will apply organic biofuels continuously because they totally know the benefits of organic biofuels on rice planting.

Abstract

The purpose of this study described consumer receptions of the fashion product brand image Sophie Martin Paris. This qualitative research used interview data collection techniques to fashion product consumer Sophie Martin Paris. Location in this study at Business Center (BC) Khusnul Khotimah Ngoro Mojokerto Sub-district. The results of this study indicated that consumer reception of fashion products Sophie Martin Paris showed a positive thing. Consumers provided a brand image or a good brand image of the products were distributed by Sophie Martin Paris company. That way audiences would trust and interested in buying and delivering positive assumptions about a product already distributed.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze influence of food photography towards eating out Sidoarjo community in instagram media. Data collection was done by using questionnaire to the respondents who visited the cafe/restaurant Mie akhirat, Kedai Kopi Medan, Wong Solo, dan Dapur M’riah that was located on Jalan Raya Ponti Gelanggang Olahraga Sidoarjo. Samples were taken through random sampling technique with total sample of 100 respondents. The result of this quantitative research showed that there was influence between food photography variable in social media instagram turns out to have an effect to the eating lifestyle of Sidoarjo community. The effect of food photography on eating out lifestyle was shown by R2 of 35.1%.

Abstract

The process of disseminating greenhouse technology in the Learning Activity Center (SKB) Situbondo a lot obstacles in its implementation. The purpose of this research analyzed the development of green house in SKB Situbondo as center of empowerment of manggo farmer. This research was done in SKB Situbondo which is location of spread of green house technology. This research used qualitative descriptive study. Data were collected by interview, observation, and literature study. The research data was validated by using source triangulation. Data analysis technique used interactive analysis model. The result of the research showed that (1) the conflict between mango farmers and SKB Situbondo was due to differences of views between the two parties, (2) the distribution was done to solve the problems faced by mango farmers after the harvest season ends with the learning guard as mediator, and (3) interpersonal communication running effectively where the terms of communication effectiveness had been met: openness, empathy, supportive attitude, positive attitude, and equality. The fulfillment of these five requirements, interpersonal communication had been running and expected to achieve its goal, change the attitude and behavior of mango farmers.

Abstract

Public relations had a management function within the company. The process of public relations entirely refers to a managerial approach consisting of fact finding, planning, communications and evaluation. In addition, public relations also runs internal activities to build good communication between the parties involved in the company to create a conducive working atmosphere. Internal communication within the company becomes an important element in creating a good working climate especially in companies whose employees have diverse cultural and social backgrounds. This paper discussed public relations in support of internal communication in the company.
