Jurnal Counseling Care (2597-6923) (2581-0650) is the official, peer-reviewed, open-access, electronic journal of the Study Program of Guidance and Counselling, STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat,is published biannual (April and October) dedicated to research and commentary on empirical, theoretical and innovative topics in the profession of school counseling and related areas. The goal in establishing Jurnal Counseling Care was to create an exciting new resource for the school counseling profession and related area with relevant and up-to-date material. Jurnal Counseling Care, publishes articles on practice, theory, and research in all areas of Guidance and Counseling also education related to Guidance and Counseling.

This research was conducted from the factors inhibiting the implementation of the guidance and counseling program evaluation by teachers and guidance counseling. The research objective was to describe factors inhibiting the implementation of the guidance and counseling program evaluation by teachers guidance and counseling. This research is a quantitative descriptive. The population the guidance and counseling teachers amounting 89 people. Also 30 teachers there were chosen by random sampling cluster. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed by using descriptive statistic. The results of this study revealed that: 1) A total of 31.1% of teacher’s guidance and counseling experiencing barriers to internal factor guidance and counseling program evaluation. 2) A total of 28.4% of teacher’s guidance and counseling experiencing barriers to external factors guidance and counseling program evaluation.

Higher education is one of the places that can be used as a forum in the intellectualization of the nation, one of the important components in higher education in educating dance children is academic advisor. But in fact many Academic Advisers (PA) in many universities do not function, one of them as a counselor in the academic field. At STKIP PGRI West Sumatra academic advisors involved lecturers as counseling services. This is very important because students need academic advisors as counselors who can understand the problems they face in the study period. This research is based on the researcher's awareness of the students who have low learning motivation that there are students who play in learning, lazy learning as disturbing his friends, telling when the teacher explained the lesson, playing Mobile, doodling his book that has nothing to do with lessons and doodling tables and student achievements that are still many under the minimum mastery criteria . This study aims to describe students' learning motivation. The sample in this study amounted to 210 students. This research is a research with quantitative descriptive approach. The result of this study shows that the students' learning motivation belongs to high category, based on the indicators of persistence in learning are in the high category, so the tenacious indicators are in high category, the interest indicator is in the high category and the independence indicator is in the category

Adolescence is a time of self-discovery, one of the efforts made to achieve the identity of teenagers can be pursued with the achievement of a mature relationship with peers. Teenagers spend more time with their peers. Peer execution is very urgent in determining attitudes and behavior, as teenagers strive to be free from family and not dependent on their parents, so that any problems they face will be more likely to share the problem with their peers. Peer counseling is an activity of mutual care and interpersonal mutual assistance among fellow students that take place in everyday life, using active listening skills and problem-solving skills in equal position among peers. In SMA 1 Sungayang some students have attended peer counseling, one time, twice or even four times in peer counseling. This study aims to reveal the level of student motivation in following peer counseling. This research uses quantitative descriptive method, with 76 research sample (SeventySix) students. Data obtained through questionnaire, then continued with interpretation of data or process of interpreting data. The results of this study revealed that the motivation of students to follow peer counseling activities belong to the high category

Sex education is one of the things taboo for some people or a group of people. The purpose of this study is to describe the opinion of adolescents to sex education received from parents, in terms of 1) Sex instruction and 2) education in sexuality. Based on data processing did it was revealed that the opinion of adolescents about sex education provided by parents is very useful for them, this is because it can help them how to maintain the body healthy, especially the reproductive system and how to behave in accordance with the values and norms prevailing in a community environment. Therefore it is expected in the parents and other components of society to be more attention and treat adolescents in accordance with the progress they are living, and guide them by being friends and friends who can understand what they want.

ABSTRACT Learning motivation can be defined as internal and external encouragement in the students to make a change over their behavior. Someone’s learning motivation is affected by various factors which might come either from themselves or from outside. The factor is gender residence. The purpose of this research was to reveal of religious program insenior high school students learning motivation viewed from residence and its implication in guidance and counseling. This research method was ex post facto by using a factorial design 2 x 2. The population of this research was the students of religious program in senior high school that consist of 108 people. All of the population was taken as the sample. The instrument of the research was Likert scale model. The data obtained in this research was analyzed by using analysis of variant (ANOVA).The results of data analysis indicated that: learning motivation of the students who lived in the boarding school and those who did not live in the boarding school was in high category in which there was not significant difference between learning motivation of student who lived in the boarding school and those who did not live in the boarding school. Motivasi belajar siswa banyak dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor yang berasal dari dalam diri dan luar diri. Faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar diantaranya adalah tempat tinggal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan motivasi belajar siswa Madrasah Aliyah Keagamaan (MAK) ditinjau dari tempat tinggal serta implikasinya pada layanan bimbingan dan konseling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah ex post facto dengan desain faktorial 2 x 2. Populasinya adalah siswa MAK sebanyak 108 orang dan dijadikan sampel penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah model skala Likert. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis varian (ANAVA). Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa: motivasi belajar siswa ditinjau dari tempat tinggal yaitu siswa yang tinggal di asrama dan yang tidak tinggal di asrama berada pada kategori tinggi, dan tidak terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar antara siswa yang tinggal di asrama dan yang tidak tinggal di asrama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan motivasi berprestasi siswa sekolah menengah dan menguji perbedaan motivasi berprestasi siswa berdasarkan gender dan budaya. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa Sekolah Menengah Negeri (SMAN) 1 Sitiung yang berlatar belakang budaya Jawa dan Minangkabau; dengan sampel sebanyak 215 orang siswa yang dipilih dengan teknik multistage sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah “Skala Motivasi Berprestasi” dengan reliabilitas 0,88. Temuan penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa motivasi berprestasi siswa dari kedua budaya tersebut tergolong tinggi, dan terdapat perbedaan motivasi berpretasi siswa antara siswa berlatar belakang budaya, di mana siswa yang berlatar budaya Jawa lebih tinggi motivasi berprestasi daripada siswa yang berlatar belakang budaya Minangkabau, dan terdapat perbedaan motivasi berprestasi berdasarkan gender.

ABSTRACT This study aimed to find out the description of student learning difficulties at SDN 05 Ciganjur. This research uses descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The sample of this study included all students in grades 4 and 5 of SDN 05 Ciganjur, South Jakarta who were registered in the 2016-2017 school year as many as 131 students. The data in this study were collected using PTSDL AUM as a simple and easy to express problem tool to communicate the quality and problems of students to assisting personnel (counselors). overall the score of the respondent's achievement for students' learning difficulties is in the sufficient category. Seen in the sub-variables there are three sub-variables that are in good quality, namely the sub-variables of learning skills by 77.24%, the personal sub-variables by 79.31%, and the sub-variables of the socio-emotional environment by 85.71%. The implications of the research results can be used as an analysis of students' needs for making BK programs in student learning difficulties.Keywords : Learning difficulties, Guidance and Counseling ServicesABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kesulitan belajar siswa di SDN 05 Ciganjur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sample penelitian ini mencakup seluruh siswa kelas 4 dan 5 SDN 05 Ciganjur Jakarta Selatan yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2016-2017 sebanyak 137 orang siswa. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan AUM PTSDL merupakan alat ungkap masalah sederhana dan mudah digunakan untuk mengkomunikasikan mutu dan masalah siswa kepada personel yang membantu (konselor). secara keseluruhan skor capaian responden untuk kesulitan belajar siswa berada pada kategori cukup. Dilihat pada sub variabel terdapat tiga sub variable yang berada pada mutu baik yaitu sub variabel keterampilan belajar sebesar 77.24%, sub variable diri pribadi sebesar 79.31%, dan sub variable lingkungan sosio-emosional sebesar 85.71%. Implikasi hasil penelitian tersebut dapat dijadikan sebagai analisis kebutuhan siswa untuk pemberian pelayanan BK dalam kesulitan belajar siswa.Kata kunci : kesulitan belajar, pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling.

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya siswa yang melakukan kekerasan vrbal dan nonverbal kepada siswa lainnya, yang menyebabkan siswa yang mendapat kekerasan jarang dan takut untuk pergi kesekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat efektifitas bimbingan kelompok dalam mengurangi perilaku bullying siswa. Jenis metodologi dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik eksperimen, sampel penelitian berjumlah 12 orang peserta didik yang terdiri dari 4 orang peserta didik pelaku bullying dan 8 orang lagi yang terkena perilaku bulying di sekolah. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa terdapat efektifitas bimbingan kelompok dalam mengurangi perilaku bullying. Diharapkan kepada semua warga sekolah khususnya guru, pimpinan sekolah agar dapat lebih memberikan perhatian kepada semua peserta didik, khususnya yang mendapatkan perlakuan bullying dari temannya.

ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the existence of class-stayed students due to lack of communication with the teacher, lack of cleverness in using good language, the presence of students who get less attention from parents. Research Objectives: 1. Describe the profile of social interaction of students living in the classroom, 2. Describe the parenting style of students who live in the classroom. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The results of the study revealed that: 1. Students who stayed in the class were mostly caused by imitation of bad behavior, so that students did not respect others. 2. Parenting patterns that are not in accordance with the characteristics of students that affect the behavior of students in school. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa: 1. Peserta didik yang tinggal kelas banyak disebabkan karena peniruan tingkah laku yang kurang baik, sehingga peserta didik kurang menghargai orang lain. 2. Pola asuh orang tua yang kurang sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik sehingga mempengaruhi tingkah laku peserta didik di sekolah.Kata Kunci: Interaksi Sosial, Tinggal Kelas, Pola Asuh Orang Tua
