Abstract

Pada hakikatnya manajemen adalah kegiatan untuk mencapai tujuan melalui kerja yang terencana, terorganisir, menggerakkan, dan pengawasan. Manajemen perpustakaan adalah pengelolaan perpustakaan yang didasarkan kepada teori dan prinsip-prinsip manajemen. Salah satu bentuk pengelolaan perpustakaan adalah pengembangan. Layanan adalah salah-satu sektor yang perlu dikembangkan dalam manajemen perpustakaan.Peranan perpustakaan bukan hanya sekedar mengumpulkan dan menyimpan semua jenis buku-buku dan bahan-bahan lain yang sejenisnya dalam suatu tatanan yang terorganisir, tetapi harus pula berusaha agar bahan-bahan tersebut dimanfaatkan. Pada kenyataannya, hal ini berarti bahwa informasi yang tersimpan dan artikel-artikel yang ada perlu diberikan kepada pemustaka yang memerlukannya. Inilah esensi dari pelayanan kepada pemustaka yang bersumber pada perpustakaan. Perpustakaan kini dituntut untuk memberikan jasa pelayanan yang lebih beragam, seperti layanan sirkulasi, layanan referensi, layanan internet, layanan penelusuran informasi, layanan digital, layanan pemilihan bahan pustaka, layanan pendidikan pemustaka, layanan pengiriman dokumen, layanan pandangan-dengar, layanan Jasa Kesiagaan Informasi (JKI), silang layanan, dan layanan fotokopi. Those to whom we have management is the to achieve a purpose through work planned, organized, move, and supervision. The library is management management of libraries based to theory and principle’s management. One form of management of libraries is the development of. Services is one sector who needs to be developed in the management of library. The role of the library not just a collecting and storing all types of books and other materials the in a order organized, but must also trying for the material used. In fact, this means that stored information and articles of should be given to user who need it. This is the essence of service to user are to library. The library is now expected to give service more diverse, such as the circulation, reference services, internet service, the search for information services, digital services, services election material library, education services user, document delivery service, audio-visual service, the readiness information service, cross services, and services a copy.

Abstract

Pada perguruan tinggi, pelayanan administrasi termasuk salah satu pilar utama dalam mengatur segala hal yang berkaitan dengan penyelenggaraan tri dharmanya, utamanya aspek pendidikan/perkuliahan.Pelayanan administrasi ini difokuskan pada pemberian bantuan kepada mahasiswa dalam hal registrasi, alih kredit, mendapatkan bahan ajar, transkrip, ijazah, dan sistem informasi.penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mendeskripsikan pelayanan administrasi dan untuk menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya serta bagaimana persepsi mahasiswa terhadap layanan administrasi. Dari data observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara terhadap 19 mahasiswa Prodi Manajemen Pendidikan Islam dan 8 orang staf administrasi Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Raden Fatah Palembang dapat diketahui bahwa kualitas pelayanan administrasi dapat dilihat dari beberapa dimensi pelayanan, yaitu: a. Reliability, b. Responseveniss, c. Assurance, d. Empathy, dan e. Tangibles.Faktor yang mempengaruhi pelayanan administrasinya: pembagian beban kerja, perhatian dan pengawasan dari pimpinan, sarana dan prasarana, kesadaran staf administrasi terhadap tugas pokok dan fungsinya (Tupoksi-nya). aturan yang menjadi landasan layanan kerja pelayanan, dan keterampilan petugas administrasi. Persepsi mahasiswa Prodi Manajemen Pendidikan Islam terhadap pelayanan administrasi Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Raden Fatah dinyatakan kurang baik. In high education, administrative service is one of fundamental pilars in managing educational activities. Administrative service is focused on managing student registration, credit-change, learning material, academic transcrript, certificate, and information system. This research was aimed at describing administrative service and describing factors influencing it, and explaining students’s perception of administrative service given. From observation, documentation, and interview data with 19 students of MPI and 8 administration staff of Faculty of Tarbiyah, UIN RF Palembang, it revealed several dimensions of the quality of adm service consisting of:a. Reliability, b. Responseveniss, c. Assurance, d. Empathy, and e. Tangibles. Meanwhile, factor influencing the adminitratve service consist of division of work load, care and supervision from the top management, infrastructure and structures, staff awareness of their core function and task, SOP, skill of the staff. Students’s perception of administrative service is also not positive.

Abstract

Kepuasan merupakan satu kata yang cukup representatif ketika kita berbicara tentang mutu atau kualitas. Mutu adalah barang atau jasa yang memiliki nilai sangat bagus dan berharga.Secara fisik barang yang bermutu dicerminkan dengan kata-kata baik, indah, benar, istimewa, dan lain sebagainya.Dalam sebuah organisasi nonprofit biasanya mutu dapat dilihat dari pelayanan yang diberikan kepada pelanggan oleh seseorang atau sebuah organisasi sehingga pelanggang merasa puas, tanpa adanya keluhan atas pelayanan yang didapat dari organisasi tersebut.Para tokoh mengartikan mutu atau kualitas dengan berbagai arti sesuai dengan bidang mereka masing-masing, namun dari beberapa banyak pengertian tentang mutu tersebut tidak terlalu bias dari satu pengertian dengan pengertian lainnya. Secara keseluruhan kualitas tetap pada artinya secara umum yaitu sesuatu yang memiliki keistimewaan yang membuat orang tertarik dan kagum pada sebuah barang atau jasa. Karena itulah tidak ada pendapat yang paling benar tentang arti dari kualitas tersebut secara pasti melihat banyaknya dimensi yang digunakan para tohoh dalam mengartikan dan mendefinisikan mutu atau kualitas. Satisfaction is fairly representative of the word when we talk about the quality or qualities. Quality is goods or services that have a very good value and quality of the physical berharga.Secara reflected by the words good, beautiful, true, special, etc. in a nonprofit organization usually can be seen from the quality of service provided to customers by a person or an organization that pelanggang satisfied, without complaint for services obtained from the organization. The figures mean the quality or the quality of the various meanings according to their respective fields, but from some of the many notions of quality is not too biased from one sense to another sense. Overall quality remains at the general meaning is something that has features that make people interested and amazed at a good or service. That's why there is not the most correct opinion about the meaning of these qualities are definitely see the many dimensions used by tohoh in interpreting and defining the quality or qualities.

Abstract

Mewujudkan pendidikan yang berkualitas merupakan tujuan utama Program Studi Manajemen Pendidikan Islam Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Raden Fatah (Prodi MPI-FT-UIN-RF) Palembang. Posisi strategis Prodi MPI-FT-UIN-RF Palembang tidak lagi cukup untuk mewujudkan visi sebagai pusat unggulan yang melaksanakan pendidikan berkualitas tinggi apabila tidak mempertimbangkan aspek kepuasan mahasiswa. Pentingnya perhatian khusus pada kepuasan mahasiswa juga dilandasi kesadaran Prodi MPI-FT-UIN-RF Palembang akan semakin ketatnya tantangan persaingan dengan perguruan tinggi yang membuka program sejenis baik berstatus negeri maupun swasta. Tujuan dari penelitian di MPI-FT-UIN-RF Palembang ini adalah 1) mengukur besarnya gap antara kenyataan dan harapan mahasiswa terhadap pelayanan proses pembelajaran, 2) menilai tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap kualitas pelayanan proses pembelajaran dalam lima dimensi SERVQUAL (bukti fisik, kehandalan, daya tanggap, jaminan, dan empati), 3) menentukan prioritas perbaikan pelayanan proses pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan 80 responden. Tehnik pengumpulan data primer menggunakan kuesioner tertutup dengan alternatif jawaban menggunakan skala likert. Realizing quality education is the main objective of Islamic Education Management Studies Program Faculty of MT and Teaching UIN Raden Fatah (Prodi MPI-UIN-FT-RF) Palembang. Prodi strategic position MPI-UIN-FT-RF Palembang no longer enough to realize the vision as a center of excellence which carry high quality education if it does not consider aspects of student satisfaction. Special attention to the importance of student satisfaction is also based on an awareness Prodi FT-MPI-UIN-RF Palembang will increasingly intense competitive challenges with universities open similar programs both public and private status. The aim of the research at the MPI-FTK-UIN-RF Palembang is 1) measure the gap between reality and expectations of students for service learning, 2) assess the level of student satisfaction on service quality learning process in five dimensions of SERVQUAL (tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy), 3) determine the priority of service improvement learning process. The method used is descriptive quantitative. The samples used 80 respondents. Primary data collection technique using the questionnaire enclosed with alternative answers using a Likert scale.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang monopoli dalam dunia pendidikan yang terjadi di sekolah negeri dan sekolah swasta. Monopoli dapat diartikan sebagai suatu hak istimewa atau keuntungan tertentu yang didapat oleh satu atau lebih orang atau perusahaan, karena adanya kekuasaan untuk menjalankan suatu bidang usaha tertentu atau perdagangan, menghasilkan barang atau jasa tertentu, atau mengendalikan penjualan keseluruhan produksi atau komoditas barang atau jasa tertentu. Faktor-faktor eksternal yang dapat menimbulkan adanya peluang atau ancaman bagi organisasi terdiri atas: keadaan pasar, persaingan, teknologi, ekonomi, sosial budaya, hukum, dan peraturan. Sedangkan faktor-faktor internal menunjukkan adanya keunggulan atau kelemahan organisasi, meliputi: keuangan, produksi, SDM, serta khususnya bidang pemasaran yang terdiri dari produk, harga, distribusi, dan promosi. Selain daripada monopoli, terdapat beberapa aspek yang mempengaruhi komersialisasi pendidikan diantranya; aspek politik, aspek budaya, aspek ekonomi, dan aspek sosial. Dengan adanya monopoli pendidikan maka mengakibatkan ideologi kapitalisme mulai merebak di dalam dunia pendidikan yang pada akhirnya lebih mengutamakan keuntungan bagi pihak-pihak tertentu saja. This article discusses the monopoly in the world of education in state schools and private schools. Monopoly is a privilege or a certain advantage gained by one or more persons or companies, because of their power to carry out a certain business or trade, produce certain goods or services, or control the overall sales production or commodity specific goods or services. The external factors that can lead to an opportunity or a threat to the organization consists of: market conditions, competition, technological, economic, social, cultural, legal, and regulations. While internal factors indicate superiority or weakness of the organization, including: finance, production, human resources, and in particular the areas of marketing which consists of product, price, distribution, and promotion. In addition rather than a monopoly, there are some aspects that affect the commercialization of education diantranya; the political, cultural, economic, and social aspects. With the monopoly of education, resulting in the ideology of capitalism began to spread in the world of education that ultimately prefers advantage for certain parties.

Abstract

Pelatihan In-House Training secara konsisten danberkesinambungan terjaminsecara kuantitas, tetapi dilain sisi dibutuhkan pelatihan yang terjamin secara kualitas. Untuk memastikan pelatihan yang akan dilakukan sesuai dengan kebutuhan organisasi, jabatan, dan individu pegawai, sehingga terjamin kualitasnya maka diperlukan analisis kebutuhan pelatihan terlebih dahulu.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus yang menggunakan teknik triangulasisumber dengan obyek dalam penelitian adalah seluruh komponen sekolah, baik pengelola maupun para guru. Dalam pengolahan data yang dilakukan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian, mengungkap bahwa dalam menganalisis kebutuhan pelatihan melibatkan seluruh komponen sekolah. Dimana, pertimbangan kebutuhan pelatihan terletak pada level organisasi dan jabatan. Disimpulkan pada level analisis individu tidak dijadikan landasan dalammenentukan kebutuhan pelatihan, sehingga memungkinkan untuk semua pegawai mengalami peningkatan. Training of In-House Trainingconsistently and continuouslyis guaranteed in both quantity, but in other sides are required for training that is guaranteed in quality. To ensure that training that will be conducted in accordance with the organization, the position, and the individual quality guaranteed civil servants, so it needed training needs analysis ahead of time.This studyused descriptive qualitative approachwithcase study methodthat usestriangulationtechniques, theobject ofthestudy were allcomponents ofthe school, bothmanagersandteachers. In the processing ofdataperformed, data collection, data reduction, data display, andconclusion and verification.Results ofthe study, revealed thatin analyzingtraining needsinvolving all components ofschool. Where,consideration oftraining needsis locatedat the organizational leveland position.It was concludedat the level ofindividual analysisis notused as a basisin determiningtraining needs, making it possible for all employees increased.

Abstract

The key informant was the head of libraries and librarians in the informant supporters are MTs Paradigm Palembang. The data collected is a secondary data source that data such as reading books, documentation and official records. And sources of primary data in the form of observations and interviews. Analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Based on the results of the study concluded that the procurement and processing of library materials collection will greatly affect the management of the library to be better and more attractive to users of libraries in improving the quality of the library. The factors which are supporting government aid and parents and facilities are sufficient. And the inhibiting factor is the absence of an adequate budget. Frequent errors in the purchase of library materials by publishers, such as library materials ordered are often different from what is already in the message.

Abstract

Visionary leadership is the ability of a leader in creating, formulating, communicating, socializing, transform and implement ideas that came from her ideal or as a result of social interaction between members of the organization and stakeholders are believed to be the ideals of the organization in the future to be achieved or realized through the commitment of all personnel. This study used a qualitative approach with case studies (case study). Through the analysis of this study, researchers found that (1) the characteristics of visionary leaders in Bani Hasyim Foundation; (2) efforts to realize the vision of the foundation leaders into action is IMTAQ, IPTEK and AKMAL; (3) implications of visionary leaders is their human resources development program teacher, make a pilot school, graduates have the life skills / expertise.

Abstract

Student organizations is a means for personal development of students. The aim of this study; a) determine the level of interpersonal intelligence of students active in UKMK KOPMA UIN Raden Fatah Palembang; b) determine the forms of activity in the UKMK KOPMA UIN Raden Fatah Palembang; c) determine the role of activities the UKMK KOPMA UIN Raden Fatah Palembang students in developing interpersonal intelligence. This study used a qualitative approach and methods of ethnography with emic perspective with data analysis includes domain analysis, taxonomic analysis, componential analysis, and analysis of cultural themes. Then come the following conclusion; a) the level of interpersonal intelligence of students active in UKM KOPMA average percentage of 78.61%. b) forms of student activities there UKMK KOPMA classified into three, namely cognitive development activities, capacity building activities affective, and psychomotor development activities. c) each of these activities play an active role in developing the student interpersonal intelligence that includes the dimension of social sensitivity, social understanding and social communication.
