Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the process of acculturation of student culture in social intercourse at campus UPP Tegal UNNES and Analyzing the obstacles faced by students in the process of cultural acculturation in social intercourse at campus UPP Tegal UNNES. The long-term goal is to find strategies or methods of student's cultural adaptation strategy which of course is different from the others. This research uses qualitative approach with case study type. The subjects of the study were all students of PGSD UPP Tegal UNNES. Informants students, lecturers, community Kemandungan and society Debong. Primary data sources are obtained through students because they know exactly about the process of cultural acculturation that takes place on campus. While secondary data sources obtained through reference with the study of cultural acculturation in society. Techniques of collecting data through interviews with informants, observations on campus sera student boarding environment and documentation. The validity of data is done by using source triangulation technique and method. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman model which include data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Cultural acculturation is a social process that students pass through on campus as they associate with their friends. This process occurs because students have different cultures from each other. The process of meeting the two different cultures, but they are able to co-exist without eliminating the elements of each. They associate with college friends without distinguishing the origin of the region, tribe, religion and race. It can be seen through the activities undertaken on campus, such as student activities, activities in order to meet the tasks of college and so forth. In social intercourse they face obstacles, including language, customs and cultural differences

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan penerapan pembelajaran tematik berwawasan multiple intellegence dalam upaya membentuk karakter siswa SD IT Al Islam Kudus, (2) mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran tematik berwawasan multiple intellegence siswa SD Islam Terpadu Al Islam Kudus. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian true experimental dengan randomized pretest-postest control group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif sebagai dampak mengimplementasikan pembelajaran tematik berwawasan multiple intellegence terhadap hasil belajar dan karakter siswa. Rata-rata hasil belajar kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelompok kontrol. Siswa juga merasa senang karena pembelajaran yang dilakukan sesuai dengan kecerdasan yang mereka miliki. Karakter yang ikut terbentuk dalam pembelajaran ini meliputi karakter demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, mandiri dan tanggung jawab.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are (1) to analyze DUDI demand on the competence ofvocational graduates in an effort to achieve a balance of the labor market, and (2) analyzethe supply of vocational graduates needed by DUDI in an effort to achieve a balance of thelabor market. In this study using qualitative approaches primary data analysis methods.This research was conducted in Central Java Province in 2018. The results of this studyare: (1) the qualifications of the workforce needed for DUDI in the middle to upper scaleare primarily having a certificate of competence, having IT and foreign language skills,and having experience working in the field the same for 1 year, and (2) the competencies ofvocational graduates produced have been sought to adjust DUDI's needs, but there arelimitations in the ability of vocational graduates because of the lack of facilities andinfrastructure in schools and the limited ability of educators.

Abstract

This research is aimed to develop the mathematics learning materials quadrilateral with amodel-based Multimedia TAPPS, so that it becomes a valid, practical and effective learningdevice. The study is also aimed to determine the increase of mathematical disposition. Thedevelopment of learning device is done by using 4-D Thiagarajan model, which has been modifiedwhich include Define, Design, and Develop. The types of learning devices which developed aresyllabus, lesson plans, worksheets, and Multimedia. The validity of the learning device isdetermined based on the expert validation. The Practicality of learning device can be seen fromthe response of the students, teachers' responses and management teacher learning in theclassroom. The effectiveness of learning can be obtained by doing a test device.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) how to implement comic media of mathematics learning in primary school, (2) whether the comic media can help in improving the quality of mathematics learning in primary schools. This research is a qualitative research. This research contains of three sub researches. The comic media that is implemented is an educational comic media. The comic media is implemented in CTL with talking stick variation, Pjbl model with bamboo dancing variation, and CTL model with snowball throwing variation . Comic media developed adapted to the learning model used. Because the learning model used is different, the mathematics learning syntax of the three sub researches is also different. The three sub researches obtaining the same result. Comic media can help in improving the quality of mathematics learning in elementary school even though implemented with different learning model. The conclusions of this research are (1), Comics are given at the beginning of the lesson and students try to understand the material and construct the concept through comics.,(2) Comic media can assist in improving the quality of mathematics learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of online learning based on problem based learning (PBL) on cognitive learning outcomes in modern sociology theory courses.The research method used is an experiment that involves a one group pretest posttest design. The research population is students of sociology education at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The sample was determined purposively and obtained by 3rd semester students in the modern sociology theory course. The independent variable is PBL-based online learning, while the dependent variable is cognitive learning outcomes. The instrument was tested for construct validity through expert judgment and empirical validation was carried out by testing the instrument on students who had already received material on modern sociological theory. Before being used in experimental research, the data was tested for validity and reliability.The results showed that there was an effect of PBL-based online learning on cognitive learning outcomes, namely through hypothesis testing using a t-test at a significance level of 5%, obtained a t-value of 12.895 in class A and a t-value of 8.547 in class B, with the acquisition of each significance of 0.00 is smaller than 0.05. So, class A used PBL with t count t table (12,8952,048) and class B used PBL with t count t table (8,5472,048). So H0 is rejected, so it can be concluded that PBL-based online learning is able to improve cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

Etnopedagogi merupakan aktualisasi pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada penanaman nilai-nilai kearifan lokal. Sebagai pendekatan, etnopedagogi di sekolah dasar perlu diimplementasikan dengan strategi maupun media pembelajaran inovatif yang mampu menarik perhatian siswa untuk memahami dan mengaplikasikan kearifan lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan mixed methods dengan strategi triangulasi konkuren.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa etnopedagogi sebagai pendekatan pembelajaran yang diimplementasikan melalui kegiatan pembelajaran yang menyajikan media berbasis kearifan lokal lebih efektif. Dalam penggunaan media berbasis keunggulan lokal seringkali diiringi dengan berbagai aktivitas bermain, sehingga menciptakan pembelajaran yang aktif, kreatif, efektif, dan menyenangkan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa etnopedagogi berhasil diaplikasikan pada pembelajaran di sekolah dasar jika pelaksanaan disajikan dengan kegiatan pembelajaran inovatif seperti media berbasis kearifan lokal.

Abstract

Kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa kelas X rendah. Rendahnya kemampuan menulis cerpen disebabkan oleh beberapa hal, antara lain kurangnya minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran menulis cerpen, guru belum melaksanakan penerapan model pembelajaran yang inovatif ketika proses pembelajaran berlangsung, dan guru kurang dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran kurang memperhatikan karakter karakter peserta didik. Masalah yang diteliti adalah (1) apakah berbeda secara signifikan kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa yang memiliki tingkat kemandirian tinggi setelah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan perlakuan model pengajaran tidak langsung dan model kooperatif integratif dan (2) apakah berbeda secara signifikan kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa yang memiliki tingkat kemandirian rendah setelah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan perlakuan model pengajaran tidak langsung dan model kooperatif integratif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) menentukan perbedaan kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa yang memiliki tingkat kemandirian tinggi setelah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan perlakuan model pengajaran tidak langsung dan model kooperatif integratif dan (2) menentukan perbedaan kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa yang memiliki tingkat kemandirian rendah setelah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan perlakuan model pengajaran tidak langsung dan model kooperatif integratif. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis eksperimen quasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa (1) model pengajaran tidak langsung cocok untuk pembelajaran kemampuan menulis cerpen dilihat dari siswa yang memiliki tingkat kemandirian tinggi dan (2) model kooperatif integratif cocok untuk pembelajaran kemampuan menulis cerpen dilihat dari siswa yang memiliki tingkat kemandirian rendah dan ada interaksi antara model pengajaran tidak langsung dan model kooperatif integratif. Simpulan hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) model pengajaran tidak langsung cocok untuk pembelajaran kemampuan menulis cerpen dilihat dari siswa yang tingkat kemandirian tinggi dan (2) model kooperatif integratif cocok untuk pembelajaran menulis cerpen dilihat dari siswa yang memiliki tingkat kemandirian rendah.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to describe the activities of teachers and students during the use of smart ladder snake learning media, as well as to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes after using snake and ladder smart learning media. This type of research was a classroom action research consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject of this study was the third grade students of State Elementary School in the academic year of 2017/2018. Data collection techniques of this study were observations of teacher, student activities, and tests for student learning outcomes. The results of this study indicate that by using smart snake ladder learning media, it is enable to improve teacher activities, student activities, and students’ learning outcomes. Teacher activity cycles are increasing by 20.45%, student activity increases 27.17%, while the student learning outcomes increase 8.91. Conclusion in this study is smart snake ladder learning media is able to improve teacher activity, student activity, and students’ learning outcomes in State Elementary School I Doropayung.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manakah yang mempunyai hasil belajar lebih baik, siswa dengan minat belajar tinggi, sedang atau rendah pada siswa kelas IV SD Muhammadiyah 1 Kudus pada penerapan pendekatan scientific. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain anava 2 jalan dengan rancangan faktorial 23. Data hasil tes dianalisis dengan uji anava 2 jalan dengan hasil Fobs Fa = 122,63 3,0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga minat belajar (tinggi, sedang, rendah) siswa memberikan efek yang berbeda terhadap prestasi belajar antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol.
