Abstract

Perempuan dan pendidikan merupakan dua frasa yang sering diidentikan dengan nilai perjuangan. Kultur patriarkhi yang merebak di masyarakat telah menempatkan perempuan sebagai subjek yang “pantas” untuk dalam memperoleh pedidikan formal yang layak dibanding laki-laki. Perjuangan perempuan dalam memperoleh pendidikan banyak disajikan dalam industry film di Indonesia, diantaranya film MARS (Mimpi Ananda Raih Semesta). Film tersebut menceritakan sosok Tupon dan anaknya bernama Sekar Palupi yang berjuang untuk melawan stereotype masyarakat terhadap perempuan dan pendidikan. Perjuangan mereka dalam memperoleh pendidikan disajikan dalam setiap scene film yang dianalis oleh peneliti menggunakan metode analisis wacana. Peneliti mengumpulkan data melalui dokumentasi dengan cara meng-capture scene film yang sarat akan tanda (signs) untuk dianalis maknanya. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data primer berupa rekaman film, kemudian ditambah dengan dengan data sekunder berupa informasi yang mendukung penelitian dari berbagai artikel jurnal, media massa maupun buku-buku refrensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa film MARS (Mimpi Ananda Raih Semesta) menampilkan bentuk perjuangan perempuan dalam memperoleh pendidikan formal yang layak meskipun di tengah keterbatasan. Banyak tanda (signs) yang ditampilkan pada beberapa scene yang dapat dimaknai memiliki nilai perjuangan dalam pendidikan seperti perjuangan memperoleh biaya pendidikan, perjuangan memenuhi alat belajar anak berupa buku dan pensil, perjuangan mendapatkan beasiswa untuk pendidikan tinggi. Perjuangan yang dilakukan oleh Tupon dan Sekar Palupi dalam memperoleh pendidikan formal juga dapat memberi motivasi kepada para penonton untuk tidak mudah putus asa dalam berjuang memperoleh pendidikan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of online learning based on problem based learning (PBL) on cognitive learning outcomes in modern sociology theory courses.The research method used is an experiment that involves a one group pretest posttest design. The research population is students of sociology education at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The sample was determined purposively and obtained by 3rd semester students in the modern sociology theory course. The independent variable is PBL-based online learning, while the dependent variable is cognitive learning outcomes. The instrument was tested for construct validity through expert judgment and empirical validation was carried out by testing the instrument on students who had already received material on modern sociological theory. Before being used in experimental research, the data was tested for validity and reliability.The results showed that there was an effect of PBL-based online learning on cognitive learning outcomes, namely through hypothesis testing using a t-test at a significance level of 5%, obtained a t-value of 12.895 in class A and a t-value of 8.547 in class B, with the acquisition of each significance of 0.00 is smaller than 0.05. So, class A used PBL with t count t table (12,8952,048) and class B used PBL with t count t table (8,5472,048). So H0 is rejected, so it can be concluded that PBL-based online learning is able to improve cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pembelajaran daring merupakan suatu pembelajaran yang harus dipersiapkan dengan baik dari mulai dari segi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga kepada evaluasi pembelajaran. Hal ini mendorong peneliti untuk melakukan kajian mengenai bagaimana peran guru dalam proses pembelajaran daring dilihat dari proses pembelajarannya. Fokus pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peran-peran guru dalam proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Kabupaten Tangerang dengan subjek penelitiannya adalah guru, dan siswa dalam hal ini peneliti melakukan wawancara mengenai beberapa indikator dari peran guru, (1) peran guru sebagai sumber belajar, dalam pembelajaran daring guru memberikan sumber belajar, seperti E-book dan beberapa video pembelajaran (2) peran guru sebagai motivator, guru memberikan motivasi kepada peserta didik (3) peran guru sebagai evaluator, disini guru berperan untuk memberikan evaluasi untuk mengetahui sejauh mana peserta didik menguasai suatu materi pembelajaran.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has brought changes, especially in the field of education., one of which is the implementation of online learning using certain learning media. Learning media is a tool used for the learning process. This study aims to determine students’s perceptions of the effectiveness of using online learning media at SMA Negeri 2 Pandeglang. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with research subjects 6 students of SMA Negeri 2 Pandeglang, using data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and analysis of primary data and secondary data. Data analysis techniques used are dara reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that each student’s perception has its own perception of the effectiveness of online learning media on sociological subjects that are carried out boldly, including (1) bold learning conditions in the use of learning media which sometimes cause various obstacles or difficulties faced by students, (2) the effectiveness of bold learning in the use of online learning media, namely the use of Google Classroom and WhatsApp applications as learning media for the chosen sociology subject is effective for creating an interesting and easy-to-follow learning atmosphere, so that learning objectives can be achieved according to the criteria for complete learning has been determined, (3) the theory of symbolic interactionism regarding bold learning in the use of learning media, namely the use of symbols in applications that are used as interactions between educators and students through media a online based learning.

Abstract

Student of the month is a program dedicated to giving appreciation and awards from the school to the best students with specific criteria. The selection of student of the month is based on the following criteria: (1) The percentage of student attendance in that month is above 90%, (2) Good character, (3) Obeys madrasa regulations, (4) Active in teaching and learning activities and extracurricular activities. This study aims to identify the process of implementing the student of the month program, determine the implementation of the student of the month program at MAN 2 Serang, and assess the impact of the student of the month program on students at MAN 2 Serang. This research is included in the descriptive analysis. This research is qualitative. The collection technique was done through interviews, documentation, and observation. Research subjects in this study were determined purposively, namely the selection of research subjects intentionally by researchers based on specific goals and criteria. The determination of research subjects is based on particular characteristics or characteristics that assess the researcher's subjectivity. The data analysis technique used is the inductive analysis technique. The study results concluded that the student of the month program led to a change in student habits, where there was a change in student behavior patterns, especially in increasing discipline. The sustainability of the program, which is carried out every month, has implications for forming a habitus for students.

Abstract

The focus of the research is to analyze the correlation between the culture of the Salaf Islamic Boarding School and the student behavior in Wewengkon Citorek. The approach used in this research was quantitative research with correlation type of research. Data collection used a questionnaire. Primary data is collected through questionnaires that are distributed directly to respondents. Secondary data obtained from the library, previous research reports, monthly reports of Islamic boarding schools, recapitulation condition of Islamic boarding schools, as well as other supporting data in section administration. Data analysis techniques include validity testing, reliability testing, and hypothesis testing with test criteria. If ρ empirical > ρ table, then reject H0 and accept H1. Likewise, if empirical ρ < ρ table, then reject H1 and accept H0. The population of this study consisted of 1513 students of Wewengkon Citorek from 24 Islamic boarding schools, and the criteria for male students were 1019 and female students were 494. Those samples were counted by a random sampling technique that used the table by Isaac and Michael for an error rate of 5%. Sampling in this study was carried out by the technique of disproportionate stratified random sampling. The total population is 1513, consisting of 1019 male students and 494 female students, so the sample calculation results obtained as many as 307 respondents. The distribution was for male students, as many as 207 respondents, and female students, as many as 100 respondents. The results of this study were as follows: Based on the calculation of the SPSS software version 25, it shows that the calculation of the normality test of the data is normally distributed because the significance value is 0.200, or it can be said that 0.200 ≥ 0.05. The linearity test calculation shows a linear pattern because the significance value is 0.298, or it can be said that 0.298 ≥ 0.05. Based on the correlation test of the Salaf Islamic boarding school culture using the product moment correlation technique, the value is 0.421. It can be said that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, and the research hypothesis (H1) is accepted. The rxy value that has been obtained is 0.421, and it is located between 0.40 – 0.59 in the product-moment correlation index. The results of testing the hypothesis show that there is a positive relationship between the culture of the Salaf Islamic boarding school (X) and the behavior of students (Y) on the strength of the relationship that is moderate or sufficient.

Abstract

This study aims to 1). Knowing how the teacher's strategy in increasing student motivation at SMAN 1 Bojongmanik, 2). To find out what factors or obstacles are often found when motivating students so that these students are motivated to continue learning. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach, the participation of this research is 3 teachers of SMAN 1 Bojongmanik. This research uses data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the teacher's role is a very important role in increasing student learning motivation, such as always reminding students to stay enthusiastic when studying, appreciating active students, inviting less active students to interact in class, and helping students who do not understand, and not blaming students who try to answer even though the answer is wrong, and using new and not monotonous learning media, for example showing learning videos, using quiziz and google form affiliations and giving rewards to students who get the highest score.

Abstract

The background of this research is the proliferation of the Korean wave phenomenon, one of the products of the Korean wave that is very much loved by the younger generation in Indonesia is Korean drama. A show can be a medium for transferring knowledge, including the moral knowledge represented by the show. In this study, researchers focused on aspects of moral awareness and perspective taking. These two aspects are very easily influenced by individual external factors such as the social environment, what is heard and seen will be a consideration for someone to think and act. This study used a quantitative method with the research technique used was a survey involving FKIP students as research respondents. The data collection process was carried out using a questionnaire containing 23 questions with a closed question model. The results of this study are in the form of descriptive statistics from the results of processing the questionnaire data that has been carried out by researchers. The discussion explains in more detail the role of Korean dramas in strengthening the moral knowledge of the respondents, who in this case are students, especially in the components of moral awareness and perspective taking. The researcher concluded that Korean drama has a role as a disseminator and socialization process of values, norms, interaction patterns, mindsets, habits, and ethics of South Korean society which will become new moral knowledge for the audience, namely students who are still in the youth category.

Abstract

Era keterbukaan informasi digital memungkinkan semua orang untuk saling terhubung satu dengan yang lainnya dengan menghilangkan batasan berupa ruang dan waktu. Seseorang terhubung dengan pihak lain yang cenderung mengalami kemudahan menciptakan berbagai terbosan baru, baik dalam hal sosial, budaya, bahkan sampai dengan ranah komunikasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Rumah Dunia dalam penguatan literasi telah melaksanakan peran semangat sosial dengan mengajak dan memotivasi masyarakat untuk ikut aktif di dalam kegiatan yang dilaksanakan Rumah Dunia. Selain itu peran dukungan dan fasilitator juga dilakukan dengan turut andil dalam setiap kegiatan, dan menyediakan fasilitas yang dapat menunjang kegiatan literasi.

Abstract

Peneliti menggambarkan pola interaksi orang tua dan anak di desa sukadana kecamatan ciomas kabupaten serang. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana pola interkasi orang tua dan anak di desa sukadana dalam kegiatan sehari-hari. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Dengan menggunakan Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi yang dilakukan oleh peneliti. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu interaksionisme simbolik yang dikemukakan oleh George Hebert Mead. Peneliti mengambil dua informan yaitu informan kunci dan informan pendukung mulai dari orang tua, anak remaja, dan teman dekat anak remaja. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pola interaksi yang diterapkan oleh orang tua kepada anak remajanya yang berusia 18-22 tahun, agar orang tua dapat mengambil keputusan yang telah ditetapkan olehnya di dalam keluarga dengan menggunakan beberapa pola yaitu pola komunikasi otoriter, pola komunikasi demokrasi, dan pola komunikasi otoriter-demokrasi. Dalam pengelolaan pola komunikasi didalam keluarga dapat menciptakan beberapa tindakan di dalam keluarga mulai dari impuls, persepsi, manipulasi, dan konsumasi, yang dilakukan oleh orang tua dan anak dalam kegiatan kesehariannya terdapat aspek perbedaan dalam pola interaksi tersebut.
