Abstract

Education is the most effective method for the internalization of character values. The most applicable character values are the values in the hadith of Muhammad. one of the books that discuss the hadith of the Prophet is the book of Al-Arba'īn al-Nawawiyyah. This study is intended to discuss what are the values of character education in Kitab Al-Arba'īn al-Nawawiyyah. Hadiths in Al-Arba'īn al-Nawawiyyah have been analyzed by using content analysis with hermeneutic method. Studies show that the book Al-Arba'īn al-Nawawiyyah contains the values of character education that emphasize the human relationship with God, either directly or indirectly. The values of character education contained in the book Al-Arba'īn al-Nawawiyyah include: obedient, able to control oneself, leave something dubious, have shame, leave useless deeds, love fellow Muslims like love himself, keep oral and glorify neighbors and guests, believe and istiqamah, zuhd, and do not procrastinate the work.* * *Pendidikan merupakan metode paling efektif untuk internalisasi nilai-nilai karakter. Nilai-nilai karakter yang paling aplikatif adalah nilai-nilai dalam hadis nabi Muhammad. salah satunya kitab yang membahas hadis nabi adalah kitab Al-Arba’īn al-Nawawiyyah. Kajian ini dimaksudkan untuk membahas apa saja nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam Kitab Al-Arba’īn al-Nawawiyyah. Hadis-hadis dalam kitab Al-Arba’īn al-Nawawiyyah telah dianalisis dengan menggunakan content analysis dengan metode hermeneutik.  Kajian menunjukkan bahwa kitab Al-Arba’īn al-Nawawiyyah mengandung nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang menekankan pada hubungan manusia dengan Allah, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terkandung dalam kitab Al-Arba’īn al-Nawawiyyah meliputi: taat, mampu mengendalikan diri, meninggalkan sesuatu yang meragukan, mempunyai rasa malu,  meninggalkan perbuatan yang tidak berguna, mencintai sesama muslim seperti mencintai dirinya sendiri, menjaga lisan dan memuliakan tetangga dan tamu,  beriman dan istiqomah, zuhud, dan tidak menunda-nunda pekerjaan.

Abstract

Economy is an inseparable thing in life. For that we need dialogue skills in various aspects of life related to the economy. The religious dialogue approach is an alternative to solving economic problems. This study uses an interfaith study approach. Islamic economics emerged with rules prohibiting all forms of usury. The prohibition of usury has been put forward by other religions. Religious dialogue regarding the economic view of Sharia has been carried out. The findings of this study are that there is a side of universality obtained from Islamic economics as a solution to economic problems that can be accepted by Islam and non-Islamic religions.

Abstract

The rise of radical intolerant understanding, the spread of the movement of exclusivity and fundamentalism of Islamic teachings poses a serious threat to internal Muslims and the global community. This phenomenon has an impact on the emergence of disputes between groups, internal and external to Muslims, which endangers the survival of the global community. Especially in the digital age where information flow seems to be in the grip. Everyone easily accesses and disseminates information, very easily. Although the digital era has positive impacts, the negative impacts are no less terrible. Through sophisticated electronic devices that collaborate with the development of information technology dissemination of negatively charged content such as hate speech, hoaxes, radical propaganda and streams that threaten public harmony spread easily and can be accessed by anyone and anywhere. The real concern is not only in the general public, but among adults and educated people, but the younger generation is also potentially exposed to these things. To stem the onslaught of intolerant radical radical propaganda, the right solution is to counter this, namely multicultural Islamic education. Multicultural Islamic education is expected to be a surefire solution to the problem. The atmosphere is that the spirit of Islam as a religion that spreads mercy for all nature will be truly realized. Through case study research and qualitative approaches, this paper examines how radicalism, fundamentalism and exclusivity of Islamic teachings spread easily through digital media. How multicultural Islamic education can become a vaccine that can eradicate the virus of radicalism, fundamentalism and exclusivity of Islamic teachings. The results of this research are through the concepts and principles of multicultural Islamic education that will be able to reduce and become a solution to the threat of radicalism, fundamentalism and exclusivity of Islamic teachings that endanger the life of society, nation and religion.

Abstract

Expressing gratitude and responding it are rare things in Indonesia. It is interesting and surprising because in the Holy Quran there are so many verses about gratitude commands, moreover, God will give Muslim more if he is grateful. But we find most Muslims who are ungrateful. Based on this problem, this article aims to elaborate the significance of expressing gratitude and its correlation to the quality of faith to God, emotion, and happiness, and interpersonal relationship using the Quran and psychology as the conceptual framework and also based on empirical findings. The conclusion of this paper underlines that the Quran and psychology have common view on gratitude. The research results that grateful correlated with intrinsic religiousness positively and with extrinsic religiousness negatively and prayer increases gratitude, prayer plays a causal role in promoting gratitude as well. It is similar with the teaching of Surah An-Nisa’ (4): 147 and Surah Luqman (31): 12. People who often say thank you have strong relationship with the other as they do not only think of their relationship to God but also to other humans. All these findings are strongly in line with the research that gratitude is correlated to fewer depressive symptoms.AbstrakMengekspresikan rasa terima kasih dan menanggapinya adalah hal yang masih langka di Indonesia. Sangat menarik dan mengejutkan, karena da-lam Al-Quran ada begitu banyak ayat tentang perintah syukur, apalagi Tu-han akan memberi lebih banyak muslim jika dia bersyukur. Tapi kami menemukan sebagian besar muslim yang tidak tahu berterima kasih. Ber-dasarkan masalah ini, artikel ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan pentingnya mengekspresikan rasa terima kasih dan korelasinya dengan kualitas iman kepada Tuhan, emosi dan kebahagiaan, dan hubungan interpersonal menggunakan Al-Quran dan psikologi sebagai kerangka kerja konseptual dan juga berdasarkan temuan empiris. Kesimpulan dari artikel ini meng-garisbawahi bahwa Al-Quran dan psikologi memiliki pandangan yang sama tentang rasa terima kasih. Hasil penelitian yang bersyukur berko-relasi dengan religius intrinsik secara positif dan dengan religiusitas ekstrinsik negatif dan doa meningkatkan rasa syukur, doa memainkan peran kausal dalam mempromosikan rasa syukur juga. Ini mirip dengan ajaran Surah An-Nisa '(4): 147 dan Surah Luqman (31): 12. Orang yang sering mengucapkan terima kasih memiliki hubungan yang kuat dengan yang lain karena mereka tidak hanya memikirkan hubungan mereka dengan Tuhan tetapi juga untuk manusia lain. Semua temuan ini sangat sejalan dengan penelitian bahwa rasa terima kasih berkorelasi dengan gejala depresi yang lebih sedikit

Abstract

The Islamic moral value of self-reliance is a value system that has been emphasized in numerous Ayat of the Glorious Qur’an and Ahadith of the Prophet (SAW). Kontagora Emirate consists of six local government areas with diverse cultural values and different languages, but with the majority of its population being Muslims and women. This paper seeks to look into the moral obligation in the conduct of business or trade by women in Islam and the conditions to be observed by Muslim women during vocations. It also aims to find out how they acquire the entrepreneurial skills; the duration taken to learn a particular skill and the types of businesses, trades, vocations etc. What impact does it have on the Muslim woman’s status economically, socially, educationally, politically? In order to achieve the above objectives, the paper adopts the survey method complimented with interview. The findings of the paper are that most Muslim women in Kontagora Emirate engage in one form of trade/vocation or the other through self help efforts such as Adashi and mini-women self help efforts kungiya. The paper concludes that with the help of Government and non-governmental/private individual’s assistance the women in Kontagora Emirate will achieve more and contribute more to economic growth of the Emirate and the state at large.

Abstract

Globalization has affected all the cultural subsystems of today's society, especially in media. How Islamic da’wa opportunities in the midst of media globalization is the focus of this article. Library studies have been used in this study. The result shows that Islamic da’wa is in the marginal position and has not been able to become a major player. There are four opportunities that can be used in preaching Islam in the era of media globalization. First, the freedom of information media is filled with enhancing creativity in making Islamic content more interesting and reflecting Islam's rahmatan lil 'alamin. Secondly, Islamic missionary media participated in the formation of public opinion. Third, the education of Muslims based on morality. Muslims must be faithful to the teachings of religion and consistent with the religious ideal. Fourth, to maximize the source of Islamic capitalism such as zakat, as a tool to achieve the welfare of all people.* * *Globalisasi telah memengaruhi semua subsistem budaya masyarakat saat ini, terlebih di bidang media. Bagaimana peluang dakwah Islam di tengah globalisasi media merupakan fokus dari artikel ini. Studi kepustakaan telah digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa posisi dakwah Islam berada di posisi terpinggirkan dan belum mampu menjadi pemain utama. Terdapat empat peluang yang bisa digunakan dalam berdakwah Islam di era globalisasi media. Pertama, kebebasan media informasi diisi dengan meningkatkan kreativitas dalam membuat konten-konten Islami yang lebih menarik dan mencerminkan Islam rahmatan lil ‘alamin. Kedua, media dakwah Islam Ikut serta menjadi pemain dalam pembentukan opini publik. Ketiga,  pendidikan umat Islam berbasis  moralitas. Muslim  harus setia pada ajaran agama dan konsisten terhadap idealitas agama. Keempat, mendayagunakan secara maksimal sumber kapitalisme Islam seperti zakat, sebagai alat untuk mencapai kesejahteraan seluruh umat.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bermaksud melakukan sedikit penjelasan mengenai hadis-hadis tentang keutamaan surat al-Ikhas dengan langkah-langkah operasional: melacak hadis-hadis terkait, memaparkan redaksi hadis, melakukan takhrij hadis, melakukan i’tibar dengan skema sanad, melakukan kritik sanad dan matan, memaparkan syarah matan dan analisa. Sejauh penelusuran penulis banyak didapati hadis tentang keutamaan surat al-Ikhlas, namun dalam hal ini penulis fokus pada keutamaan surat al-Ikhlas yang menyamai sepertiga Al-Qur’an dalam Sunan Abi Dawud hadis nomor 1461.Sebagai hasil, terdapat perbedaan pendapat di kalangan ulama terkait pemahaman hadis tersebut, di antaranya mengatakan bahwa al-Ikhlas disebut sepertiga al-Qur’an karena ia mengandung unsur tauhid yang merupakan salah satu kandungan isi al-Qur’an, di samping itu, sebagian ulama berpendapat bahwa pahala membaca surat al-Ikhlas sama dengan pahala membaca sepertiga isi al-Qur’an, dan sebagian lagi berpendapat al-Ikhlas menyamai sepertiga al-Qur’an khusus bagi pelaku peristiwa sahabat ketika Nabi masih hidup. Kemudian dari ketiga pendapat tersebut, penulis setuju dengan dua pendapat pertama bahwasannya al-Ikhlas menyamai sepertiga al-Qur’an dilihat dari segi isinya dan pahala orang yang membacanya sama seperti membaca sepertiga al-Qur’an juga. Selain itu menurut penulis secara tidak langsung hadis tersebut mengajarkan kita untuk memegang teguh tauhid, memotivasi untuk mengkaji al-Qur’an lebih dalam dan memotivasi untuk gemar membaca al-Qur’an.Kata kunci: hadis, keutamaan qul huwallahu ahad.

Abstract

One of the main problems of the information age is how to get the information that would be credible. The issues outlined in this paper, is how naqd al-hadith as a method of criticism credibility of information. The method was used deductive, by discussing the theory of the credibility of the information developed at this time, then discuss the concept of credibility of information on Islam, namely 'ulum al-hadith, then offered naqd al-hadith as a method of criticism credibility of information. The results showed that naqd al-hadith can be used as a method of credibility of the information at this time.* * *Salah satu problematika utama era informasi ini adalah bagaimana mendapatkan informasi yang dapat dipercaya kebenarannya (kredibel). Persoalan yang diurai dalam tulisan ini, adalah bagaimana naqd al-hadits sebagai metode kritik kredibilitas informasi. metode yang digunakan adalah deduktif, dengan mendiskusikan teori kredibilitas informasi yang berkembang pada saat ini, kemudian mendiskusikan konsep kredibilitas informasi dalam Islam, yaitu ‘ulum al-hadits, kemudian menawarkan naqd al-hadits sebagai metode kritik kredibilitas informasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa naqd al-hadits dapat digunakan sebagai metode kredibilitas informasi pada saat ini.

Abstract

This paper is about to discuss discourse as the identity of the Qur'an which is now in the form of writing (Mushaf). In its history, the Qur'an is present in an environment that is familiar with oral traditions, delivered in oral form from the Prophet (speaker) to the Arab community (listeners). Based on the oral delivery, the Al-Qur'an indicates to be examined in the discourse discourse. The result of this paper is the discourse on the oral level of the Qur'an and even the naming as the Qur'an. Until the Qur'an takes the form of a text (mushaf) which is met today by Muslims, but the structure of orality can still be found clearly. With the structure of orality, it certainly presents a specific understanding of orality, as was the revelation understood by the Prophet Muhammad as a speaker and the Arab community as opposed to speech. The occurrence of understanding between the Prophet Muhammad and the Arab Society gives an understanding that the Qur'an contains understanding at that time, so that if there is an inertia, then the Arab community will question the purpose of the verse delivered. From this, the context that is presented in the discourse of oral Qur'an is a clear context, which binds the speaker and listener, or also commonly referred to as contextual.

Abstract

The aftermath of the Iranian revolution and emergence of Shia Immamiya as the religion of government in Iran in 1979. The Razavi charitable Endowment under the Iran’s supreme religious leader has been spending a lot of money, especially in Africa to indoctrinate and convert Muslims to Shia. The paper traced the origin of Shia in Nigeria. Identified the factors that facilitated the spread of Shia in Nigeria. A desk review methodology was adopted. The study found out that the Iranian government has devoted a lot of funds to Africa and under the pretext of aid in the area of building Mosques, establishing schools and giving the scholarship to study in Iran. It has been observed that ignorance of Shia among most Islamic scholars, teachers, and preachers has contributed its spread until when Nigerians started studying in Universities in Saudi Arabia, the real identity of Shia is known.
