Abstract

The movement of humanities solidarity that is widely voiced is the women's movement specifically to wear the hijab (hijab) as a form of solidarity with Muslims. women take a role that is based on the awareness of the importance of togetherness wearing headscarves as a symbol of strength to reject any rhetoric of hatred on any basis, be it identity, religion, race, and ethnicity. This paper describes the veiled women's movement as a form of humanitarian solidarity in the aftermath of the New Zealand tragedy. A descriptive qualitative study of library research was conducted using the Durkheiminism approach. This study produces findings that the hijab has a symbol of religious meaning that is closely related to solidarity and social identity. The veil becomes a symbol of social solidarity as well as resistance to abuse. The hijab movement was born as a collective act to revive the spirit of togetherness among religious followers in combating various acts of radicalism and terrorism.

Abstract

Schools are strategic institutions to fight for gender equality. There is one school in South Sumatera that applies the concept of gender, namely SMA 2 Sekayu. This study aims to analyze the social aspects of gender-responsiveness in schools. The approach used is descriptive qualitative phenomenological. The informants consisted of school principals, teachers, students, school committees, and education staff. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation and analyzed using an interactive model of analysis consisting of reduction, presentation, and verification. Meanwhile, the social aspects of gender-responsiveness were analyzed through Longwe. The results showed that the implementation of gender-oriented schools on social aspects involved women and men of the school committee. Teachers' and parents? interactions run well. The school had a puberty management forum for male and female students. The interaction of all school members is in accordance with the concepts of gender equality. But the teacher did not yet have the ability to control and detect sexual harassment against students. To realize gender-responsiveness, all components in the school must have gender sensitivity.

Abstract

Abstract

Verbal abuse for child is often unrealized by teachers at school and parents at home. It is worrying because it brings negative impact until he grows into adulthood. As a result, the spoken words may affect his emotional condition. Generally, verbal abuse is committed by adults to child for the sake of expressing caring and affection. However, it is actually forbidden for parents and teachers to control their child's behavior by committing violence. They might give punishment to their children by abandoning his right to do what he likes, while parents could reward their children when he does goodness. Indeed, parents and teachers should not give punishment or scold their child in front of his friends because it can break his self-esteem. Before scolding or punishing a child, parents or teachers should try to find out the reason why the child commits bad behavior._________________________________________________________Kekerasan verbal terhadap anak sering tidak disadari oleh guru di sekolah dan orang tua di rumah.

Abstract

Bacıyan-ı Rum (Anatolian Sisters Organization) is known as the world’s first women’s organization in history, but very few pieces of literature exist about this medieval organization. Thus, the aim was to reach up to all available historical documents about the topic and systematically analyze the nature and function of such an organization in the medieval era. Preliminary findings show that no written documents existed in English nor other languages except the Turkish language. It was also observed that this topic has emerged as an exciting area for many disciplines recently, leading to a sudden development of recent write-ups on such a topic. Therefore, awareness of gender roles in Turkish society, especially in the historical context of the Bacıyan-ı Rum Organization, is very important to be elaborated to form complete awareness of gender roles in society. In addition, awareness of the role of gender is excavated from various literature, both histories, economics, politics, travelogues, art, sociology, and anthropology to provide an extensive and detailed understanding of such remarkable phenomenal women organizations that existed in the Islamic world of the Medieval Era in Anatolia, Turkey.

Abstract

Akibatnya UU Nomor 23 Tahun 2004 diberlakukan.

Abstract

Adolescents are known for their critical development period due to problems they often face in their daily lives. The problem occurs as a result of adolescent developmental tasks that have not been appropriately fulfilled. One of the problems of adolescents is social media abuse. This study analyzes college students' mental health and their relation to life satisfaction and social media abuse. This research is a quantitative approach that involved 302 college students from the Vocational School of IPB University as respondents. The sampling technique used convenience sampling considering the data is taken online and distributed to as many population members as possible. With this technique, respondents are assumed to be willing to fill out the questionnaire because they feel more comfortable and safer. The results prove that male students in this study more often abuse social media than female students. College student life satisfaction in this study is not related and does not influence mental health and social media abuse. Mental health is proven to be related and influenced by abuse behavior, where an increase in mental health will decrease the tendency of social media abuse on college students.
