Abstract

This research was conducted in order to determine that the application of learning models and Explaining Student Facilitator (SFE) is able to enhance the activity and student achievement on economic subjects in class X Cross Economic Interests D SMA 02 Batu. This study used a qualitative research approach, with a type of action research. Data from this study colected through student activity observation sheet, documentation, field notes, test questions in the form of pre-test and post-test.

Abstract

Student consumption activities Prodi Economic Education in addition to the purposes of study, consumption activities are also carried out to support the appearance. This research aims to discover (1) how is the motive of the transactions in the purchase of food and fashion products, (2) how the strategy to allocate the allowances of the students of Faculty of Economic Education, State University of Malang. This study uses a qualitative method with the kind of phenomenology, the snowball sampling technique. and uses snowball-sampling technique. The data was collected by doing an interview and documentation, and the data was analyzed by using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The results of this research are, firstly, motif transaction in the purchase of a meal, the students of Faculty of Economic Education choose where to eat certain then documented and published in social media, Secondly, motif transaction in the purchase of fashion products, there is a student who is often influenced by friends, trends, brand, advertising and discounts. Thirdly, there are students who create a list for their consumption planning, and there are students who do not in allocating their allowances as the strategies used by the students of Faculty of Economic Education.Keywords: consuming behavior, transaction motives, students of Economic Education.

Abstract

Consumption behavior, also known as consumption patterns, is a way for someone to fulfill all her needs by buying and using goods and services required to meet the rational needs.thus, in order to fullfill the need, someone should choose what will be consumed so as not to buy anything that is not in use and buy something excessive or often called consumptive behavioral. Consumption behavior of students is influenced by several factors such as the parents 'attention, the response to the advertisement, the intensity of the peers, and students' understanding on economic subjects. Abstract

This study uses a Class Action Research conducted in two cycles. The subjects were students of class X IIS 4 in SMAN 1 Batu with the number of students as many as 28 students consisting of 9 male students and 19 female students. Data collection techniques in this study includes observation, interviews, field notes, student questionnaire responses, the issue of pre-test and post-test, and documentation.From the series of data analysis results and the ability to ask students' learning outcomes by implementing learning methods Time Token Arends (TTA) in the first cycle and the second cycle has increased significantly and the results of this study to get a positive response from teachers and students of class X IIS 4. Thus, recommended for teachers to implement teaching methods Time Token Arends (TTA) to improve the ability to ask and learning outcomes, as well as to avoid students who dominate in learning.

Abstract

In higher education, especially at S-1, students are trained to produce a scientific paper called thesis. Thesis is a scientific work created by the students as a graduation requirement in education S-1 which contains a philosophical objective of the study to a problem along with a review of the analysis based on specific research methodology used to solve these problems by The theoretical and accountable authenticity. But in writing a scientific work are still many students who committed plagiarism. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach to research that is naturalistic. Source of data in this research is secondary data in the form of student thesis S1 Economic Education Development 2010 to 2014. This research included in the research literature. Analysis of the data in this literature review is content analysis, which is a form of analysis that is used to provide a picture of a form of the object, which aims to describe the forms of plagiarism and layout arrangement acts of plagiarism in student thesis economic education development.

Abstract

In the daily life, humans cannot be separated with economics activity to fulfil varying of their needs which are not balanced with the available resources, so they have to behave rationally in economic activity, especially consumption. This study aims to determine the partial and simultaneous effect of allowance management, modernity, emotional quotient, and economic literacy against rationality of consumption behaviour’s students in the 10th grade of Social Science MAN 1 Malang. This research used quantitative approach with explanation research. The population are students in the 10th grade of Social Science MAN 1 Malang with a sample of 54 students is calculated using Slovin Formula and sampling technique is proportional random sampling. The data were obtained through questionnaires and written test. To analyze the data, this research used multiple linear regression analyze technique. The result in this research showed: (1) allowance management affects the rationality of consumption behaviour for students in the 10th grade of Social Science MAN 1 Malang, (2) modernity affects the rationality of consumption behaviour for students in the 10th grade of Social Science MAN 1 Malang, (3) emotional quotient affects the rationality of consumption behaviour for students in the 10th grade of Social Science MAN 1 Malang, (4) economic literacy affects the rationality of consumption behaviour for students in the 10th grade of Social Science MAN 1 Malang, (5) allowance management, modernity, emotional quotient, and economic literacy affect simultaneously to the rationality of consumption behaviour for students in the 10th grade of Social Science MAN 1 Malang.

Abstract

This research is done with the objective to develop Audio Visual Comics instructional media which can be used in Economics learning in senior high school with foreign currency exchage rate subject. Research and development model used in this reaearch is Borg & Gall model with 3 kinds of validity tests. Those tests are subject test, media test, and product trial test. Product trial test consist of small group test and field test. The collecting of the validity data is using questionnaire and written test instrument. Based on the result of the research can be concluded that Audio Visual Comics has judged very appropriate to be used in economics learning either in subject aspect, media aspect and its effectivity in classroom.Keywords: foreign exchange rate, audio-visual comic, instructional media

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) whether or not the influence of the amount of the allowance to the pattern of consumption of students from the Department of Economic Development, Faculty of Economics, (2) whether or not the influence of self-control on the consumption patterns of students from the Department of Economic Development, Faculty of Economics, (3) there is or whether the effect of the amount of pocket money and self-control of the consumption patterns of students from the Department of Economic Development Faculty of Economics, University of Malang. The data taken is primary data obtained through a questionnaire which was distributed by the researchers to students who then analyzed using SPSS 16 for windows. Results of the study are: (1) the effect of which is directly proportional to the amount of the allowance towards the consumption patterns of students, if the amount of pocket money students high and good management, the consumption patterns of students will be rational, but if the amount of the allowance is high and management is low, the pattern of consumption is not rational (2) high self-control, the impact on both the consumption patterns of rational consumption patterns, (3) The amount of pocket money and self-control simultaneously affect consumption patterns.

Abstract

The ability of teachers to manage a class which the teacher is very important to create and maintain a learning conditions and activities become optimal in case of disturbances during the learning process. This study is to determine the ability of classroom management examined included the ability to provide responsiveness, dividing attention, focusing groups, provide clear guidance, reprimand, provide reinforcement, behavior modification, manage groups, find and solve behavior that cause problems, and avoid some of the mistakes in the classroom. This research method was using descriptive qualitative approach, type of research used in this research was phenomenology. The subjects in this study is one of the economic teacher in grade X SMAN 8 Malang which certified and the students of grade X. The research instruments used were observation and interviews. Methods of data collection using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Analysis of data using Data Reduction, Presentation of Data, and collecting Conclusions and Verification. Research results show that the ability of teachers in the management of economic subjects in grade X SMAN 8 Malang have been effective. Meanwhile in response attitude indicator, dividing attention, focusing groups, give clear instructions, admonishing student, provide reinforcement, behavior modification, manage groups, find and solve behavior that cause problems, and avoid some of the mistakes in the classroom have been effective. Keywords: The ability of classroom management, classroom management on grade X SMAN 8 Malang

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between socio-economic variables of parents and the motivation of students to study in college. Number of dependents and family support stand as intermediate variable, which connects to theanother one, namely student motivation. The subject of this research was the high school students of class 11, and 12 including their parents in three regencies: Belu, TTU, and TTS. Using path analysis showed that there is a positive relationship between education, employment, income, and savings and the motivation of students. Variable of number of dependents have negative relationship but are significant with motivation of students. It also happened when the testing was done through the intermediate variable (indirect relation), that only a dependent and the family support variables have negative relationship with the motivation of students. Keywords: social status and motivation
