Abstract

Family education institution is an educational institution that is first and foremost for the children in building the foundations of moral life, social and religious. When educational institutions intersect with science and technology, it appears the two polarization family, namely the nuclear family and the extended family. The presence of concomitant effects can impact on alienation of science and technology and inconsistency in the status of the family. According to the three stages of development C.A. glasses Van Peursen, extended family in the category of mythic stage, while the nuclear family in the category of ontological and functional stages.

Abstract

This work is a report of research from Dual Mode System’s universtity students at Tarbiyah Faculty in teaching the subject of Islamic Theology. The research aims to understand the teacher’s competence in teaching Islamic Theology. The results of the research indicates that all teachers, generelly, have tougt well according to their teaching plans. But from metodological aspects especially material development, they do not not have competence in their work. The process of teaching is still dominated by lecturing; there is no connection other disciplines, and the teachers do not have interconnetive and integrative perspectives when teaching. The doctrinal approach is dominan.The main problem exists in teaching Islamic Theology is reducting of material, for examples, when they teach the subject of belief in Prophets and Books. Explaining of Prophets is only by explaining the Prophet of Muhammad. And so does for Books. When they teach Belief in Books, their explaination is only to the Qur’an. Of course, the problems of teaching is caused by competence of teachers who do not have philosopical perspectives when teaching, particularly,teaching religion like Islamic Theology. For example, they can not differenciate between universalism and particularism, and it is difficult to differenciate between Prophets and Muhammad.

Abstract

The background of this research is the emergence of problems in general about the ignorance of teachers PAI affective assessment instruments in schools, even in schools that in fact madrasah. However, there is a teacher at SMAN 1 Yogyakarta PAI that besides knowing affective assessment instruments also developed the use of affective assessment instruments. Teachers PAI also showed readiness to make lesson plans by attaching affective assessment instruments. Based on this study aims to determine the shape of affective assessment instruments and their use, as well as scoring and assessment results from the use of assessment instruments PAI affective learning in the school.This research is qualitative. Data was collected through interviews and documentation techniques. Examination of the validity of the data is done by holding the data triangulation.The results showed that: 1) Form of assessment instruments PAI affective learning in SMAN 1 Yogyakarta include: assessment of noble character and personality, instantly records, statements of honesty, self-assessment implementation IMTAQ in life, and mentoring questionnaire; 2) The use of assessment instruments for moral values and personality by observing the students, notes for the record by chance instantaneous behavior of the student and the actions/solutions provided, honesty statement given at UTS to develop an attitude scale instruments, implementation of self assessment IMTAQ in life filled by students and known by the by modifying old techniques Likert scale attitude, mentoring questionnaire given to the students of class X when he first dimentoring by Rohis the school by developing a questionnaire technique. 3) given scoring is always = 5, often = 4, 3 = rarely, never = 1, while the final assessment by using the formula NA = ( 2A + B + 2C ) / 5, where A is the liability aspect, B aspect and C is a plus aspect of noble character who do.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the application of the theory of humanistic learning in Islamic Religious Education learning, would like to know the results of Islamic religious education learning through the theory of humanistic flow with the method (active learning) in SDN Nugopuro Gowok. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative method using data collection such as interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the results of the study that the application of the theory of humanistic learning (active learning) in PAI learning in SDN Nugopuro Gowok has been done quite well and has been going well by educating and guiding students to learn to use various methods or strategies actively. It was marked by positive responses and changes in behavior such as, interactive, learning motivation, strengthening memory and tolerance.

Abstract

The presence of moral education in schools must be able to become a forum in realizing the tolerance attitude of students for the realization of harmony in society. The purpose of this study is to find out how the role of the teacher of the Islamic Morals in actualizing the tolerance attitude of the students and how the tolerance of the students in MTs YAPIS Pattiro Bajo. The method is descriptive qualitative with data collection such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are, First: the role of teachers in instilling an attitude of tolerance towards students, namely acting as an informator, motivator, director, facilitator and evaluator that aligns with tolerance material. Second: the tolerance of students in this case, namely the attitude of tolerance towards friends, the attitude of tolerance towards teachers, the attitude of tolerance towards the school community and the attitude of tolerance towards parents.

Abstract

This study is a case report primarily conducted to analyze the factors which brought about the unsuccessful implementation of learning with an optimal scientific approach administered by the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training students during the Internship III at Senior Islamic School Paradigma in Palembang. The research method employed was qualitative research. Data collection was carried out by direct communication techniques through observation and interviews. Meanwhile, the tools employed for data collection were observation guides and interview guides. The final results showed that the majority of Internship III students had inferior knowledge and practice in carrying out scientific learning. Some factors that dominated the lack of optimal learning with a scientific approach were incomprehension, unpreparedness, and the students' inability to manage time effectively. Only 3 (three) out of 15 (fifteen) respondents really understood, were ready and able to carry out procedural and scientific learning at its utmost.

Abstract

The development of information technology lately can harm the character of a nation. One creative effort to overcome this problem is the character in educational institutions. This study aims to determine the application of religious character education. This research uses a descriptive-analytic method with a qualitative approach. The location of the study was at Bandung Hikmah Exemplary Junior High School, the subjects of the study were the principal, curriculum waka, educators, and students. The results of his research are; (1) religious character values that are applied are spiritual values and insanity, (2) implementation is carried out by integrating learning with various activities in school, (3) the supporting factor is adherence to discipline, while the inhibiting factor is environmental differences association and the community environment, (4) the results of the implementation of religious character education can be seen from the existence of self-awareness in religion and show good academic results.

Abstract

Z generation lives in the era of high technology. Their life is based on the technology such as depending on the social media. So, this generation has moral degradation, disrespect others and surroundings’ ignorance. Then, Islamic education has a big role to create characteristic of empathy toward this generation. This research is aimed to develop Islamic educational model which is simple, effective and applicable in creating empathy’s characteristic toward Z generation. The method of the research is developmental research. The researcher uses questionnaire, interview and documentation technique to collect data. Then the object of the research is Islamic educational model. Therefore, this research creates Islamic education which covers; purpose, material, source of study, method, media, studying process, evaluation and living practice. The result of individual test, group test and limited-test shows the average score 3.90, 3.93, and 4.00. So that, that result is applicable. However, the effectiveness of test analysis’ result by using SPSS 16 application is gained t value 4.817 and p=0.00 <0.05. So that, the mentioned result shows that this Islamic educational model is effective to create characteristic of empathy toward Z generation.

Abstract

The akhlakul karimah is the main goal of Islamic education. Psychological factor that contribute to akhlakul-karimah is critical thinking. This study aims to examine the correlationbetween and contribute of critical thinking and akhlakul-karimah. This research is a quantitative approach, using two scales in data gathering. The subjects are 61 students, class of VIII MTs Ma`had Islamy Banguntapan Bantul. Analysis techniques using descriptive analysis and product moment. The results shows: 1) Akhlakul-karimah of students are in the good category, it seem from mean score (of 83.21). 2) Critical thinking of students are in the quite good category, it seem from mean score (57.87). 3) There is a significant and positive correlation between the critical thinking and akhlakul-karimah of students, it seem from r=0.331 and p=0.009 (p <0.05). Critical thinking contributed to akhlakul karimah is 10.9%; the rest (89.1%) is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

Individual research article aims to present a clear picture of the learning Kyai Mlangi construction and relevance for lslamic learning (PAI) in school. Setting location of a community school in Mlangi, Northwest city of Yogyakarta in Yogyakarta Nagari Pathok Mosque complex, which consists of 13 boarding school. After participant observation, in-depth interviews and qualitative analysis, the conclusion that; the first one, learning construction Kyai Mlangi mapped into three types (1) the child-nurse Pype, (2) the parent type, and (3) the grandparent type. Type of Learning Ny. Khunah close to the child-nurse type with a tendency of learning bequeathed a sense of satisfaction in female students when he was able to memorize or read the Qur 'an correctly and fluently. Meanwhile Kyai H. Munahar, Kyai Wirdanuddin and Gus Jfik closer to the parent type Kyai where all three are likely to have committed and skilled to teach and bring new ideas to the students. Parody, jokes, and even tried to evoke imagery Kyai gradually a success oriented students. Than Kyai Suja'i conservated the grandparent type with characteristics similar to the approach of a philosopher and a little attention to the material Kyai Sufism. The second one, the construction of learning Kyai Mlangi learning value. more emphasison the value of the substance (matter) itself. The third one, construction Kyai Mlangi learning is relevant to learning nilia PAI values education in schools such as patience, diligence, obedience, discipline and example through a method that dibelajarkan through proverbs and uswah hasanah.
