Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of Arabic teacher personality with student motivation in learning Arabic. The research method used in this study uses a quantitative approach, and takes the population of students at MTs Darul Hidayah Bandung by using a sample of eighth grade students. Sampling was determined by random sampling technique. Data collection using the questionnaire method. While the analysis of statistical data with the Pearson correlation formula. The results showed that the relationship between the teacher's personal competence and student motivation in MTs Darul Hidayah in Bandung obtained a correlated significant value of 0.02 which was smaller than 0.05. The Pearson Correlation value between these two variables is of moderate correlation, with a value of 0.546 located between 0.41 to 0.60. In the comparison of Pearson Correlation with r table also achieved results that have a relationship with a value of 0.546 that is greater than 0.296 or it can be said the percentage of the relationship between the teacher's personal competency (X) with student motivation (Y) is 25%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was (1) to find out the language media in Mahārat al-Kalām learning (2) to find out the function of learning media according to Kemp and Dayton (3) to find out the language media in learning Mahārat al-Kalām Tsanawiyah Madrasah based on the function of instructional media according to Kemp and Dayton. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, the researcher as a key instrument, data analysis is inductive, and the results of the study emphasize the meaning rather than the generalization of objects. Data collection techniques used were observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings of this study are: First, the language media that can be used by teachers in learning Mahārat al-Kalām are: Analogy, Antonyms, Synonyms, Give examples, Direct instruction, repeating words and sentences, and question and answer. Second, the function of learning media according to Kemp and Dayton, namely: motivating interests and actions, presenting information, and giving instructions. Third, there is a significant relationship between language media and the function of learning media according to Kemp and Dayton, so that it can be known the steps of learning by using language media in learning Mahārat al-Kalām.

Abstract

Students often experience stress that comes from academic activities. For final-year students, finishing a thesis often become a stressor. Symptoms of stress in students are feeling tired, anxious, not eager to do the thesis. The impact is the thesis is delayed and the students chose to forget it, avoided their lecturers, complained in the social media about the difficulties encountered and ultimately delayed the study period. When experiencing stress, students share their problems to the peer group to get a solution or just to relieve his feelings, called self disclosure. This study aims to determine the influence of self disclosure on stress levels, using method of correlation with simple linear regression analysis. The measuring instrument were the Revised Self Disclosure Scale and the Student-Life Stress Inventory. The participants were 49 students of psychology UIN who are working on thesis. The results showed no influence of self disclosure toward stress levels.

Abstract

According psychology-philosophy perspective, various pattern in education caused by different view about human being.. Abdurrahman an-Nahlawi stated that how human view about themselves will give strong effect toward education system.[1]. If human is viewed as creature with an evil talent, then education means as an effort to supress those evil factors.[1] On the other hands, if human is viewed as an active creature with potential, interest, and good basic competency, education means drawing out process in which taken out everything the children have not pouring in like water jar.

Abstract

Today, education face many kind of problems that indicate student maladjustment behavior. All sorts of students maladjustment behavior stretch from the lower level to the higher level. For example; cut class, engage in the gang fight, hold-up, free sex and consume the narcotics. Counseling is the process of connection between counselor and counselee that help the counselee solve the problem to find the behavior that conform the rule of the society. Albert Ellis sparked the theory of rational emotive therapy that give the assumption that human had brought the potential to think rationally, honest, and think irrationally and bad. Human has two tendencies, they are positive and negative tendencies.The rational emotive therapy using ABCD analysis can help the counselor to understand the client’s problem holistically.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the fact that the process of learning the Quran Hadith subject in Madrasah Aliyah is still far from developing the students' critical thinking skills, caused by the learning process most focused on result and value (product oriented). This study aimed to generate and develop a learning model to improve student’s critical thinking skills. This research was conducted using research and development approach (R & D), included (1) a preliminary study, (2) Model Development, and (3) Test validation. Model testing carried out by experiment in the form of a quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest control group design. The results showed that the learning model developed proved more effective to improve the processes and outcomes of learning the Qur'an Hadith. In terms of the learning process, the implementation of this model can improve the performance of teachers, namely; more effective learning time, learning more concentrated and more controlled learning activities.

Abstract

This writing aims at describing the affixation process of verbs in Arabic andMinangkabau language, the differences and similarities between the two languages. This is a type of library research. It uses qualitative approach that presents data and analysis descriptively. The result shows that affixes in Arabic consist of certain letters that have been set while those in  Minangkabau language consist of morphemes. Arabic has its own pattern of turning basic verbs into command verbs while in Minangkabau language it uses suffix to make basic verbs as command verbs. Subjects in Arabicverbs are joined as prefixes while in Minangkabau language the stand-alone subject is not combined with verbs. The similarity is that the process of affixation of the two languages are the same, namely prefix, suffix, and infix. Another similarity is that both languages can change intransitive verbs into transitive. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses afiksasi verba dalam bahasa Arab dan bahasa Minangkabau berikut perbedaan dan persamaan proses afiksasi kedua bahasa tersebut. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pustaka atau library research. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang memaparkan data dan analisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa imbuhan pada bahasa Arab terdiri atas huruf-huruf tertentu yang sudah ditetapkan, sedangkan imbuhan pada bahasa Minangkabau terdiri atas morfem. Bahasa Arab memiliki pola tersendiri untuk menjadikan verba dasar sebagai verba perintah, sedangkan bahasa Minangkabau menggunakan sufiks untuk menjadikan verba dasar sebagai verba perintah. Subjek pada verba bahasa Arab disambung sebagai imbuhan, sedangkan subjek pada bahasa Minangkabau berdiri sendiri atau tidak digabung dengan verba. Sementara itu, persamaannya adalah proses afiksasi kedua bahasa yaitu prefiks,sufiks, dan infiks. Selain itu, kedua bahasa tersebut sama-sama dapat mengubah verba intransitif menjadi transitif

Abstract

إن لفظ الطهر ومشتقاته في القرآن الكريم له معنى متنوع وفذ، حتى ينبغي أن يبحثه. يهدف هذا البحث إلى معرفة المعاني المعجمية والسياقية من لفظ الطهر والقيم التربوية منه. أما طريقة البحث المستخدمة في هذا البحث طريقة تحليلة دلالية إلى تحليل معاني الألفاظ، بحيث جمع الكاتبون الآيات المشتملة على لفظ الطهر ومشتقاته بمساعدة المعاجم والتفاسير والكتب الدلالية والتربوية . فالأسلوب أسلوب دراسة مكتبية أي جمع البيانات بمطالعة المصادر المكتوبة. ومن النتائج المحصولة هي أن المعاني المعجمية التي تشتمل على لفظ الطهر هي معنى انقطاع دم الحيض، معنى الاغتسال، معنى الطهر من جميع الأحداث والأقذار، معنى ما يتطهربه. والمعاني السياقية التي تشتمل على لفظ الطهر هي معنى الاستنجاء بالماء، معنى التنزه عن اللواط، معنى الطہر من الذنوب، معنى الطہر من الشرك، معنى طهر القلوب من الريبة، معنى الطهر من الكفر، معنى الحلال، معنى الطهر مما في نساء الدنيا، معنى الإخراج، معنى الطهر من الباطل. فأما القيم التربوية منها القيم العقيدية والقيم العبادية.

Abstract

لفظا غني وحميد من مصطلاحات القرآن حيث يدلان على اختلاف المعنى في أنواع الآيات. ولفظا غني حميد المتتابعين نظرا إلى اختلاف معناهما يندرجان في مباحث التضاد عن علم الدلالة. والقرآن الكريم يستخدمهما في السياقات والموضوعات المختلفة، وهناك القيم التربوية في الآيات المشتملة إلى لفظي غني حميد حتى يقصد الكاتب أن يحلل من ناحية علم الدلالة مع الغرض كشف الإعجاز في القرآن الكريم. يهدف هذا البحث إلى معرفة المعاني المعجمية والسياقية من لفظي غني حميد والقيم التربوية منهما. وطريقة البحث المستخدمة فهي طريقة تحليلية دلالية إلى تحليل معاني الألفاظ، حيث جمع الكاتب الآيات المشتملة على لفظي غني حميد بمساعدة المعاجم والتفاسير والكتب التربوية. فأما الأسلوب فهو أسلوب دراسة مكتبية أي جمع البيانات بمطالعة المصادر المكتوبة. والنتائج من هذا البحث فهي: إن المعنى المعجمي للفظ غني هو كثر ماله، الكفاية، لا يحتاج إلى شيئ آخر. وأما لفظ حميد فهو كلمة واحدة وأصل واحد يدل على خلاف الذم. فأما المعاني السياقي للفظي غني حميد يتضمن على موضوعات؛ الإنفاق والشكر والهدى والنعمة والإيمان والفقر والعظة. فأما الأسرار من اتباع لفظ غني بحميد أن الغني لا يسبب التكبر والإعجاب وإنما المطلوب به حميد بصفات المحمودة، فأما النكرة والمعرفة منهما يدلان على التعظيم والتأكيد.  فأما القيم التربوية منها: القيم الاعتقادية والقيم العملية والقيم الخلقية.
