Abstract

Education is an "investment". Education is the process of forming the basis of the fundamental capabilities, both related to cognitive (intellectual) and emotional power (feeling), which is directed to human nature and to each other. Problems of teachers in secondary education in Indonesia are as follows. (1) Lack of teachers: deployment of teachers in Indonesia is not in accordance with the needs in each educational unit; there is a tendency surplus of teachers in certain areas, while other areas (outside Java) are lack of teachers. (2) The qualifications of teachers: many teachers have not their minimal education qualifications (S1 degree). (3) Academic competence and qualifications: the results of the competency test conducted on random teachers in 2004 are not satisfactory. (4) Unsuitable education background: Many teachers teach subjects that are not in accordance with their educational background. In order that the planning formulated at the national level is supported and implemented in the education ranks below, it is recommended to implement an optimal management, "Planning Philosophy", asdepicted in the "Sustainable development planning pentagon" in this article. Pendidikan merupakan suatu ”investasi”. Pendidikan merupakan proses pembentukan kemampuan dasar yang fundamental, baik menyangkut daya pikir (daya intelektual) maupun daya emosional (perasaan) yang diarahkan kepada tabiat manusia dan kepada sesamanya. Permasalahan Tenaga Pendidik di Pendidikan menengah di Indonesia adalah: (1) kekurangan guru. Penyebaran guru di Indonesia tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan di setiap satuan pendidikan, terdapat kecenderungan surplus guru di daerah tertentu, sementara di daerah lainnya (di luar Jawa) kekurangan guru. (2) kualifikasi guru, masih banyak guru yang kualifikasi pendidikannya belum S1. (3) kualifikasi kompetensi akademik. Berdasarkan hasil uji kompetensi yangdilakukan terhadap guru secara random pada tahun 2004, hasilnya belum memuaskan. (4) Ketidaksesuaian latar belakang pendidikan dengan mata ajar. Agar perencanaan yang dirumuskan di tingkat pusat terdukung dan terlaksana pada jajaran pendidikan di bawahnya, direkomendasikan agar menerapkan manajemen secara optimal, “Planning Philosophy” sebagaimana tergambar dalam “Sustainable development planning pentagon” dalam artikel ini.

Abstract

Nowadays, sex education for children with special needs becomes a necessity. In term of it, besides based on philosophical and juridical, sex education is the preventive efforts in order that every child with special needs can recognize, understand, handle his/her biological development and change. In addition sex education for children with special needs also aims at guiding them to appreciate other people’s sexual behavior and not to make them being stuck on deviate sex conduct as well as not getting violence and sexual abuse from others. This is because their physical and psychological condition, which has some problems, enables them to be easily manipulated and courted, so that many of them are often stuck to be the object of sexual harassment of irresponsible person. This writing specifically is going to explain the concept of sex education for children with special needs, which includes characteristic of children with special needs, theory of sex education, the anvil of sex education, as well as material, method, and teacher competencies in the implementation of sex education for them. Pendidikan seks bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus kini menjadi sebuah keniscayaan. Perihal tersebut selain didasarkan secara filosofis maupun yuridis, pendidikan seks merupakan upaya preventif agar setiap anak berkebutuhan khusus dapat mengenali, memahami dan mengelola perkembangan dan perubahan secara biologis pada dirinya, menghargai perilaku seks orang lain, serta tidak terjebak pada perilaku seks yang menyimpang ataupun mendapatkan kekerasan dan pelecehan seks dari orang lain. Sebab seiring dengan kondisi fisik dan psikologi yang bermasalah menjadikan anak berkebutuhan khusus mudah dimanipulasi, dirayu, sehingga kerap kali terjebak untuk dijadikan objek pelampiasan syahwat oleh orang yang berkepribadian buruk. Tulisan ini secara khusus akan menguraikan tentang konsep pendidikan seks bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus mencakup karakteristik anak berkebutuhan khusus, teori pendidikan seks, landasan pendidikan seks, materi, metode serta kompetensi guru dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan seks.

Abstract

Education was always faced with the problem of the complex, start from the competition in the management of education institutions, leadership, finance staffing, curriculum community support and the level of trust. Adult private schools is growing rapidly along with the needs of the community will be better quality education. Private schools based on Islam is currently has become a trend by the users of education along with the demands and changes of the age.The changes occur in the environment education institutions requires a paradigm shift in respect of the environment around. In order to achieve their aims and various mission of an educational institution, then the interaction between stakeholders that there must be intertwined with one another. External and internal environment in the educational institution must be understood by all the stakeholders. The introduction of the internal and external environment in the right educational institutions, then will affect the strategic decision makers about the direction that will be taken and the action to be taken in order to make the innovation of education institutions which they manage.

Abstract

The education system of Islamic Religion in school is a form of elaboration of the mandate of Act No. 20 of 2003 on National Education System, in order to prepare students to be a man of faith and piety and morality, but in practice they have drawn criticism from the public that PAI in school during is rated only equip learners only religious knowledge (cognitive) less emphasis on the aspect of practice (affective and psychomotor). Where necessary the development of PAI itself, so that PAI is not only limited knowledge but also can be practiced in everyday life either at school or in everyday environments. Either by teachers, and students.Therefore, it is necessary to build a culture of religious (religious culture) in religious activities in schools to improve the practice of affective so in tune with our educational goals.

Abstract

Discipline is one of the factors of success in achieving learning goals. Discipline teacher will bring a positive impact on the development of students, it requires dedication and a high responsibility. A teacher required to cultivate the mindset, have extensive knowledge, must also have competencies that qualified, good pedagogy, methodology, or disciplines to be taught. The teaching profession is a noble profession, although sometimes underestimated, but it is crucial in preparing the next generation, which will continue nation's leadership in the future. Teachers are also required to be able to provide examples of good models, in order to produce generations that can be better in the future. xThe benchmark of whether good nor bad of one community is the education itself. While the main character in the world of education is the teacher, because the teacher are able to single handedly carve a student's future whether it's good nor bad.The people's expectation on the products of the education system can be seen on the student's both academic and non-academic achievements.This research is using a quantitative descriptive method, whereas the type of approach used in this study is a partial correlation by analyzing the relationship (influence) between the variables of work discipline in the teacher with student achievement.Data collection technique is to spread the Likert scale questionnaire form which contains a number of questions about the indicators of work discipline and student achievement. The data obtained was then added to the partial correlation formula per variable, then connected, whether there is a significant relationship between teacher's work discipline with student achievement in SMA Negeri 1 Bumiayu, Brebes Regency, while the author used determinant coefficient to analyze the relationship between teacher's work discipline and student achievement.The results of the study is showing that teacher's work discipline will affect student achievement, because there is a relationship of 0.786 or 78.6% that were classified as very strong based on the level of its relationship.

Abstract

An educational institution should try to create an positive image in the heart of the people, so that people are able to make the decision to enroll their children and participate actively in the institution development. Positive image can be realized by developing quality and organizing some productive activities that have public relation with clear vision and mision. This paper offers an alternative for implementation and development of the vision and mision of public relation based on customer satisfaction in order to realize institution positive image. Customer satisfaction can be realized by the commitment in understanding the customer expectation, so education institution need to identify “the needs and pretentions” of customer expectations. Some things need to be done in improving customer satisfaction related to the development of the vision and mission of public relations, namely: Compiling identification program of costumer expectation, measuring customer satisfaction consistently, designing services based on costumer expectations, communicating effectively, building proactive, friendly, anthusiastic and trust of personal profile, building anorganizational structure that accommodates customer service, and developing participative management.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the rehabilitation of victims of drug abuse in the H.Mustajabah Special Hospital Mental Purbalingga. Drug abuse has become widespread in the community, for it required no special approach to medical and non-medical in handling by the stakeholders of government agencies, non-governmental, and private sectors. This was in line with the current development paradigm in which the three main pillars play an important role in the development process. This article utilizes literature studies, interviews, documentation and observation as a means to get information about how to implement a holistic approach in the rehabilitation of victims of drug abuse in the H.Mustajabah Special Hospital Mental Purbalingga. The results of the study concluded that the handling of victims of drug abuse in the H.Mustajabah Special Hospital Mental Purbalingga by promoting the Islamic religious aspect that comes from al-Qur'an, al-Sunna. Spiritual approach Islamic way is referred to as "Psychoreligious" "Psychotherapy Islamic", that is a process of treatment and cure of the disorder / mental illness, spiritual, moral and physical victims of drug abuse through the direction and guidance of Allah Swt. Prophet / Apostle, and the beneficiary of his.

Abstract

This study describes the Contextual Teaching and Learning method for Islamic religion subject at SMP Al-Azhar Banjar Patroman. This research resulted in: 1) Islamic religion subject teachers perceived the students as subjects of teaching whose knowledge always developes in accordance with their experience; 2) The clasroom activities of Contextual Teaching and Learning method was implemented by creating a conducive learning atmosphere while for assessment was carried out thoroughly, on the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects; 3) The response of students to the Contextual Teaching and Learning method was good. It was shown from high learning motivation and anthusiastic involvement of the students in the learning, mostly the students reached above of KKM score and possessing good spiritual or social manners.

Abstract

The role of parents as the first educators and primary injecting mental development of children. Religious education should be able to color the child's personality, so religion was actually to be part of his personality will be in control of his life in the future. In order to achieve the formation of a good personality, then the religious education should be given to parents who truly reflected religion in attitudes, behavior, gestures, how to dress, how to speak, how to deal with the issueand the overall personality. In short it can be said that religious education will be successful, if the teachings of that religion reflected in the personal life and parents themselves.
