Abstract

The globalization era has imperceptible impacts on all sectors, one of which is education. The rapid changes in the era lead to a significant increase in the environmental community, which are driven by transculturation and the development of information and communication technology and the booming of information and knowledge. As a result, the world of education has gone in such a dynamic way as the era of globalization. The development of knowledge, experiences, innovations and a variety of things related to the globalization of education make up what is called the information resources. The information literacy has been needed by the education community, so that education will be able to compete on a global level. The information literacy will be proper in complying with the development. This is the actual demand for the academic community. Moreover, the information literacy will meet the demands of development faster. This is actually a request for the academic community.

Abstract

This research is aimed to examine the influence of high intensity and low intensity in using learning resources to students’ achievement. This is an ex post facto research with the population of 155 students in the Department of History, Faculty of Education, University of PGRI Yogyakarta. The sampling technique used in this research was cluster random sampling, by which 80 sample students were taken. Data were collected through two techniques, i.e. a questionnaire for collecting data on students’ intensity in using learning resources, and a test for collecting data on learning achievement of teaching profession. Data are statistically analyzed with analysis of variance (ANOVA). The research result point out that: there is a significant difference of students achievements of teacher profession subject between the students who have high and low intensity of learning resources usage (P = 0.011 < 0.05).

Abstract

This study is aimed to find out the significance of a radio broadcasting evaluation, the method of educational radio broadcasting, and the strategy of broadcasting evaluation for radio partner of BPMRP Pustekkom (The Center of Communication Technology) of the Ministry of Education and Cultures. This study uses a descriptive analysis. The evaluation is carried out to understand the development of the broadcasting, to identify its audience categories, to monitor the audiences, to take the audience data, to meet to audiences, and to survey the audiences. The study shows that the evaluation of radio broadcasting is of important to carry out in order to re-examine a program proposal that is already arranged beforehand. The evaluation is also important to find out the success and the failure of a program.

Abstract

Nowadays, the change and the development of society run faster and more dispersely than before. In this era of globalization, Islamic education, as a means to bring out a competent human capital that can compete in the era of 21st century, needs to pay closer attention to the "process" than to the "outcome", and this way can be regarded as an alternative to the development of creativity. This paper shows some significant ideas to explore how to emphazise the "process". The ideas include motivation, learning strategies, self consciousness, work ethic, participatory approach to fostering creativity, musing space, and change in attitudes. With the spirit of change and the passion of work, this paper offers some ideas to foster a good quality of Muslim generation as a solution to the educational crisis of this nation.

Abstract

Islamic education is considered to be very important to the life. Therefore, the Islamic education should be regulated by the government. Education in Indonesia is aimed to change better characters of Indonesian citizens. To achieve this aim, education is expected to foster a good generation by continuing noble ideas, i.e. advancing the state of Indonesia to compete with other countries. For that reason, the government is trying to promote this nation through the education sector, especially Islamic education. Education is a conscious and deliberate effort to create an atmosphere of learning so that learners can actively develop their potentials to have the spiritual power of knowledge, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and other skills needed by themselves, their society, nation and the state. In other words, Islamic education is aimed to create human dignity as well as noble and virtuous behavior. Pendidikan Islam merupakan hal sangat penting dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara, oleh karena itu pendidikan sebagai bekal dalam kehidupan sehari-hari diatur oleh pemerintah. Pendidikan di Indonesia diharapkan dapat merubah karakter atau budi pekerti bagi warga Negara Indonesia yang mengarah kepada hal yang lebih baik. Oleh karena itu pendidikan diharapakan mampu menciptakan genenrasi yang dapat atau mampu meneruskan cita-cita luhur bangsa srehingga dapat memajukan negara Indonesia dapat bersaing dengan negara lain melalui pendidikan. Oleh karena itu penerintah berusaha memajukan bangsa ini melalui sektor pendidikan khusnya pendidikan Islam. Pendidikan merupakan usaha sadar dan terencana untuk mewujudkan suasana belajar mengajar agar peserta didik secara aktif dapat mengembangkan potensi dirinya untuk memiliki kekuatan spiritual keilmuan, pengendalian diri, kepribadian, kecerdasan, akhlak mulia, serta keterampilan lain yang diperlukan oleh dirinya, masyarakat, bangsa dan negara. Oleh karena itu pendidikan Islam dapat menciptakan manusia yang bermatrabat, beraklak mulia dan berbudi luhur.

Abstract

Teachers in pre-learning activities of appreciation of poetry in high school need to select appropriate learning materials in order to meet the curriculum 2013. In 2013, the educational curriculum is oriented to national values, because it is one of the parts of the character education, which consists of education of values, education of ethics, education of moral, and education of characters. One of the implementations of the character education is by selecting instructional materials for appreciation of poetry that focuses on religious and nation values. In the pre-stage of this learning activity, the teacher needs to prepare the content of the poem that contains character education, namely religious and nation values, by means of interpreting connotative words, ambiguity associated with denotative words, and interpreting the meaning of the poem to understand its meaning. An alternative learning material of appreciation of poetry in high school can be taken from W.S. Rendra’s poems called Penance, After Confession, Come O God, Prayer of Hunger, and A Soldier's Prayer Before the War. Guru dalam tahap pra-kegiatan pembelajaran apresiasi puisi di Sekolah Menengah Atas perlu melaksanakan pemilihan materi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan Kuriklum 2013. Dalam Kurikulum 2013 nilai pendidikan tersebut berorientasi kepada 18 nilai pendidikan karakter bangsa yang merupakan bagian dari pendidikan karakter yang terdiri atas pendidikan nilai, pendidikan budi pekerti, pendidikan moral, dan pendidikan watak. Salah satu implementasi nilai pendidikan berkarakter bangsa dalam pemilihan materi pembelajaran apresiasi puisi ini berfokus pada nilai religius. Pada tahap pra- kegiatan pembelajaran ini guru perlu mempersiapkan materi puisi yang mempunyai kandungan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter bangsa, yaitu nilai religius dengan cara mengartikan kata-kata konotatif dan ambiguity yang dihubungkan dengan kata-kata denotatif, dan menginterpretasi makna dalambait puisi sehingga makna puisi secara keseluruhan dapat diketahui. Alternatif pemilihan materi pembelajaran apresiasi puisi di Sekolah Menengah Atas dapat diambil puisi-puisi karya W.S. Rendra yang berjudul Tobat, Setelah Pengakuan Dosa, Datanglah Ya Allah, Doa Orang Lapar, dan Doa Seorang Serdadu Sebelum Perang.

Abstract

Curriculum network is a system of cooperation between central and local government and among the local divisions in developing curriculum which meets the local characteristics, need, and progress. The implementation of curriculum networking model and the policy of KTSP (Curriculum in each Institution Level) is expected to produce output that can satisfy the stake holders and are welcome in job market to meet the need of the society. To achieve such a condition, the improvement of academic qualification and competency of teachers as the agents of education can be realized through self-study, formal study, training, and in service training. Curriculum 2013 is issued to solve some problems that could not be solved in Curriculum 2006. For that reason, the government issued a new policy to implement Curriculum 2013, which has new structure and standard of competency. Jaringan kurikulum merupakan suatu sistem kerjasama antara pusat dan daerah,dan antar unsur di daerah dalam mengembangkan kurikulum yang sesuai dengan karakteristik, kebutuhan, dan perkembangan daerah. Implementasi model jaringan kurikulum dan kebijakan KTSP di harapkan mendapatkan out put yang memuaskan pelanggan pendidikan, dan bisa di terima di pasaran kerja sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat. Agar mendapatkan out put yang memuaskan maka diperlukan Peningkatan dan pengembangan kualifikasi akademik dan kompetensi guru sebagai pelaksana pendidikan dapat dilakukan melalui pembelajaran mandiri, studi lanjut ataupun pelatihan, dan pemberdayaan dalam tugas (in service training). Perubahan kurikulum 2013 bermula dari permasalahan-permasalahan yang belum bisa di pecahkan dalam kurikulum 2006. Pada akhirnya pemerintah membuat kebijakan baru dengan memberlakukan kurikulum 2013 yangmemiliki struktur dan standar kompetensi yang baru.

Abstract

National educational orientations that tend to ignore the development of value dimension have inflicted students both individually and collectively. The problem that arises is that the students will know much about anything but they are lack of system of values, attitudes, interests and positive appreciation of what they know. The students will experience an unbalanced intellectual development compared to their maturity of personality, wherein this condition can bring out a figure who is less concerned with the surrounding environment and susceptible to distortion of value. As a result, the students will practice moral offense easily, because the value system that should become a benchmark for standardized everyday behaviors is not so sturdy. By reflecting on the limited efforts of the educational institutions to equip the students with moral values nowadays, a number of people committed to providing character education. Character education as a part of religious education aims to develop values, attitudes and behaviors of students who bring out noble characters. Orientasi pendidikan Nasional yang cenderung melupakan pengembangan dimensi nilai, telah merugikan peserta didik secara individual maupun kolektif. Tendensi yang muncul adalah, peserta didik akan mengetahui banyak tentang sesuatu, namun ia menjadi kurang memiliki sistem nilai, sikap,minat maupun apresiasi secara positif terhadap apa yang diketahui. Anak akan mengalami perkembangan intelektual tidak seimbang dengan kematangan kepribadian sehingga melahirkan sosok spesialis yang kurang peduli dengan lingkungan sekitarnya dan rentan mengalami distorsi nilai, sebagai dampaknya, peserta didik akan mudah tergelincir dalam praktik pelanggaran moral karena sistem nilai yang seharusnya menjadi standar dan patokan berperilaku sehari-hari belum begitu kokoh.Bercermin pada keterbatasan upaya lembaga pendidikan dalam membekali nilai-nilai moral peserta didik selama ini telah mengilhami munculnya komitmen dari sejumlah kalangan untuk memberikan pendidikan budi pekerti. Pendidikan budi pekerti sebagai bagaian yang memperkaya pendidikan agama bertujuan untuk mengembangkan nilai, sikap dan prilaku siswa yang memancarkan akhlak mulia / budi pekerti.

Abstract

One of the characteristics of today's globalization era is that there are various competition in people's life. The globalization era is marked by a variety of scientific progress and the success of technology. The globalized world gives a challenge for people who can compete and deal with it, other wise it can become a threat to those who are not ready to deal with it. The era of globalization is one of the advantages for educated human resources. Education as one of the main pillars of human resource development will be the benchmark for excellence of human resources. A teacher is one of the main pillars for human resource development, without which the education process will not run. Efforts to improve human resources, especially teachers, are mainly by increasing their competences, qualifications and certification of educations. Improving teachers' qualification, competencies and certification of education is a “condicio sine qua non” or an indispensable and essential action for the Indonesian government. Salah satu ciri era global seperti sekarang ini adalah kompetisi dalam berbagai kehidupan, dengan ditandai oleh berbagai kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi.Iindividu yang sukses adalah yang dapat bersaing dengan dunia global sehingga era global merupakan tantangan dan sekaligus ancaman bagi mereka yang tidak siap menghadapinya. Salah satu bekal untuk menghadapainya adalah sumber daya manusia yang unggul. Pendidikan sebagai salah satu pilar utama pengembangan SDM akan menjadi tolok ukur sebuah keunggulan SDM. Guru adalah salah orang yang utama dan pertama sebagai pilar peningkatan SDM, tanpa guru proses pendidikan tidak akan berjalan. Upaya peningkatan SDM terutama guru adalah dengan melalui peningkatan kualifikasi dan kompetensi serta sertifikasi pendidik. Peningkatan kualifikasi, kompetensi serta sertifikasi pendidik adalahmerupakan condition sine quanon atau suatu kefardhuan Nasional bagi bangsa Indonesia.

Abstract

To be able to read and write and translate the Arabic writing, then the required mastery of nahwu shorof adequate. constraints faced by students during this time is the difficulty of formulating theories and nahwu shorof shorof yellow book with an easy way of learning. These constraints are: must learn to read the book and nahwu shorof; must learn to translate the book; must learn to understand the theory of the book; must learn to apply thetheory of the book is on the yellow book, even on a particular book should memorize nadhom. Tamyiz method is innovation and new breakthroughs in quantum nahwu shorof learning. With the basic assumption that a small child can, a small ever can. Submission of material is so fun from easy to difficult, so students do not feel pressured, even students without the burden of memorizing and translating the Qur'anic verses with ease. And Tamyiz this method is really a method that is able to deliver the students and those studying this method can quickly translate the Qur'an. Untuk dapat membaca dan menulis serta menterjemahkan tulisan yang berbahasa Arab, maka dibutuhkan penguasaan ilmu nahwu shorof yang memadai. kendala yang dihadapi santri selama ini adalah sulitnya memformulasikan teori nahwu dan shorof dengan cara pembelajaran yang mudah. Kendala tersebut adalah : harus belajar membaca kitab nahwu dan shorof; harus belajar menerjemahkan kitab tersebut; harus belajar memahami teori kitab tersebut; harus belajar mengaplikasikan teori kitab tersebut pada kitab kuning, bahkan pada kitab tertentu harus menghafal nadhom. Metode Tamyiz merupakan inovasi dan terobosan baru dalam pembelajaran nahwu shorof quantum. Dengan asumsi dasar bahwa anak kecil saja bisa, yang pernah kecil pasti bisa. Penyampaian materi begitu menyenangkan dari yang mudah ke yang sulit, sehingga santri tidak merasa tertekan, bahkan santri tanpa beban menghafal dan menterjemahkan ayat-ayat Qur‟an dengan mudah. Dan metode Tamyiz ini benar-benar sebuah metode yang mampu mengantarkan para santri dan mereka yang belajar metode ini dapat menterjemahkan Qur‟an dengan cepat.
