Recently, the value of arts studies in higher education level is often phrased in enrichment terms- helping scholars find their voices, and tapping into their undiscovered talents. IJCAS focuses on the important efforts of input and output quality rising of art education today through the experiences exchange among educators, artists, and researchers with their very own background and specializations. Its primary goals is to promote pioneering research on creative and arts studies also to foster the sort of newest point of views from art field or non-art field to widely open to support each other. The journal aims to stimulate an interdisciplinary paradigm that embraces multiple perspectives and applies this paradigm to become an effective tool in art higher institution-wide reform and fixing some of biggest educational challenges to the urban imperative that defines this century. IJCAS will publish thoughtprovoking interdisciplinary articles, reviews, commentary, visual and multi-media works that engage critical issues, themes and debates related to the arts, humanities and social sciences. Abstract

This paper explores the strategies necessary for creating an effective tone of voice for brands with a regional presence in Southeast Asia. Considering the diverse cultural, ethnic, and religious landscape, the study emphasizes the importance of understanding linguistic nuances, audience segmentation, aspirational values, and political contexts to craft brand messages that resonate with local consumers. Through a mixed-methods approach that includes qualitative interviews, focus groups, and quantitative surveys, the research identifies key cultural and linguistic factors influencing brand communication in countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. The findings reveal that preferences for tone vary significantly across countries, with a general preference for formal tones in Malaysia and Thailand, while humor resonates more in the Philippines and Vietnam. Additionally, religious and aspirational values strongly influence brand perception, particularly in Indonesia and Malaysia. Overall, the results suggest that a flexible and culturally sensitive approach is essential for successful brand communication in this region. The paper also discusses the challenges and opportunities of managing linguistic diversity and provides practical guidelines for developing a brand tone of voice that can be effectively applied across different markets. By incorporating insights on how to address various audience segments and religious considerations, the study aims to equip brand managers with the tools needed to build a cohesive and resonant brand identity in Southeast Asia. Mengembangkan Strategi untuk Membangun Nada Suara bagi Merek di Asia TenggaraAbstrak Makalah ini mengeksplorasi strategi yang diperlukan untuk menciptakan nada suara yang efektif bagi merek-merek dengan kehadiran regional di Asia Tenggara. Mengingat keragaman budaya, etnis, dan religi, studi ini menekankan pentingnya memahami nuansa linguistik, segmentasi audiens, nilai-nilai aspiratif, dan konteks politik untuk merumuskan pesan merek yang dapat beresonansi dengan konsumen lokal. Melalui pendekatan metode campuran yang mencakup wawancara kualitatif, kelompok fokus, dan survei kuantitatif, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi faktor budaya dan linguistik kunci yang memengaruhi komunikasi merek di negara-negara seperti Indonesia, Malaysia, Filipina, Singapura, Thailand, dan Vietnam. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa preferensi untuk nada bervariasi secara signifikan di berbagai negara, dengan preferensi umum untuk nada formal di Malaysia dan Thailand, sementara humor lebih beresonansi di Filipina dan Vietnam. Selain itu, nilai-nilai religius dan aspiratif sangat memengaruhi persepsi merek, terutama di Indonesia dan Malaysia. Secara keseluruhan, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan yang fleksibel dan sensitif terhadap budaya sangat penting untuk komunikasi merek yang sukses di kawasan ini. Makalah ini juga membahas tantangan dan peluang dalam mengelola keragaman linguistik dan memberikan pedoman praktis untuk mengembangkan nada suara merek yang dapat diterapkan secara efektif di berbagai pasar. Dengan memasukkan wawasan tentang cara mengatasi berbagai segmen audiens dan pertimbangan religius, studi ini bertujuan untuk membekali manajer merek dengan alat yang diperlukan untuk membangun identitas merek yang kohesif dan beresonansi di Asia Tenggara.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a new discourse of eroticism based on the experience of sexual fantasy as an effort to find "self-meaning" through the practice of creating works of art. So far, the concept of eroticism is still widely misunderstood as a taboo that is narrowly interpreted as a reflection of sexuality through works of art, thus creating a negative impression and contradicting the values that develop in society. Eroticism contains a great essence as a concept that can bring the paradigm of sexuality to a different level. The psychoanalytic perspective, the theory of the Four Discourses, the Graph of Desire, and George Bataille's Transgression theory support synthesizing the new concept of eroticism as a manifestation of desire in fantasy. This is related to efforts to strengthen self-conceptualization of the sensation of fear of cruelty due to a strong association with transgressive behavior and longing for the fulfillment of a sense of loss. As a tool in realizing the above research, the Practice-led Research (PLR) Method is used, namely research driven by the practice of creating art, which is a way to systematically reflect and evaluate in creating works. Thus, creating works is carried out simultaneously in stages and back and forth. The results of this study are in the form of installation art, and illustration-augmented reality as a medium for manifesting the sensation of erotic experience (sexual fantasy). Based on the study conducted, three critical things were concluded as research findings: first, erotica can be used as a medium to reflect erotic experiences; second, the method of creating "Erotika Fantasiana" involves the experience of sexual fantasy as the main material object; the third, sexual fantasy that is full of the concept of transgression, experiencing pain, and efforts to restore "loss" of self-esteem through the fulfillment of the object of desire is an important element in the concept of "Erotika Fantasiana". Transgresi Hasrat dalam Erotika Berdasarkan Psikoanalisis Jacque Lacan dan George Bataille Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan wacana baru erotisme berdasarkan pengalaman fantasi seksual sebagai upaya menemukan “makna diri” melalui praktik penciptaan karya seni. Selama ini konsep erotisme masih banyak disalahpahami sebagai hal tabu yang secara sempit dimaknai sebagai refleksi seksualitas melalui karya seni, sehingga menimbulkan kesan negatif dan seolah bertentangan dengan nilai-nilai yang berkembang di masyarakat. Padahal erotisme memuat esensi besar sebagai konsep yang mampu membawa paradigma seksualitas di tataran yang berbeda. Perspektif psikoanalisis, teori Empat Wacana, Graph of Desire, serta teori Transgresi George Bataille digunakan untuk mendukung pembentukan sintesis atas konsep baru erotisme sebagai perwujudan hasrat dalam fantasi. Hal ini terkait dengan upaya penguatan akan perseptualisasi diri pada sensasi ketakutan terhadap kekejaman sebagai akibat dari asosiasi yang kuat dengan perilaku transgresif serta kerinduan terhadap pemenuhan rasa kehilangan. Sebagai alat dalam mewujudkan penelitian di atas, digunakan metode Practice Led Research (PLR) yakni penelitian yang didorong oleh praktik penciptaan seni, merupakan cara untuk melakukan representasi sensasi pengalaman sublum dan mengevaluasinya secara sistematis sebagai serangkaian proses penciptaan karya seni. Dengan demikian, proses penciptaan karya dilakukan secara bertahap dan ulang alik secara bersamaan. Hasil penelitian ini berupa karya seni instalasi, lenticular, videografi, serta ilustrasi-augmented reality sebagai medium representasi sensasi pengalaman erotisme (fantasi seksual). Berdasarkan studi yang dilakukan, disimpulkan tiga hal penting sebagai temuan penelitian: pertama, erotika dapat digunakan sebagai medium untuk merepresentasikan sensasi pengalaman erotis; kedua, metode penciptaan Erotika Fantasiana melibatkan pengalaman fantasi seksual sebagai objek material utama; ketiga, fantasi seksual yang sarat akan konsep transgresi, penghayatan rasa sakit, dan upaya pemulihan loss harga diri melalui pemenuhan objek hasrat menjadi unsur penting dalam konsep Erotika Fantasiana.

Abstract

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain technology in curatorial practice offers transformative potential for managing, presenting, and distributing both traditional and digital art. This study explores how AI enhances curatorial processes through advanced data analysis and personalized visitor experiences. AI assists curators in organizing collections and recommending artworks tailored to individual preferences, fostering greater engagement with dynamic, customized exhibitions. Blockchain technology, on the other hand, ensures the provenance of decentralized artworks, guaranteeing authenticity and transparency. It addresses issues like counterfeiting, ownership disputes, and secure transactions, while supporting artists through smart contracts that ensure equitable compensation. However, ethical concerns remain. These include biases in AI algorithms, intellectual property challenges in decentralized NFT platforms, and limited digital access for marginalized artists. Academic studies and case analyses underscore these challenges and advocate for collaboration among curators, artists, technologists, and policymakers. This approach seeks to resolve ethical dilemmas, promote inclusivity, and maintain cultural integrity in implementing these technologies. The study emphasizes the need for public policy frameworks to regulate AI and blockchain, ensuring fair compensation and equitable access to their benefits while safeguarding cultural values. By addressing these concerns, these technologies can unlock new possibilities for the art world. Transformasi Praktik Kuratorial: Peran AI dan Blockchain dalam Membentuk Paradigma Seni-Sains yang Etis untuk Kebijakan Publik Abstrak Integrasi kecerdasan buatan (AI) dan teknologi blockchain dalam praktik kuratorial menawarkan potensi transformatif untuk mengelola, menyajikan, dan mendistribusikan seni baik tradisional maupun digital. Studi ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana AI meningkatkan proses kuratorial melalui analisis data yang mutakhir dan pengalaman pengunjung yang dipersonalisasi. AI membantu kurator dalam mengatur koleksi dan merekomendasikan karya seni yang disesuaikan dengan preferensi individu, mendorong keterlibatan yang lebih besar dengan pameran yang dinamis dan disesuaikan. Di sisi lain, teknologi blockchain memastikan asal-usul karya seni yang terdesentralisasi, menjamin keaslian dan transparansi. Teknologi ini mengatasi masalah seperti pemalsuan, sengketa kepemilikan, dan transaksi yang aman, serta mendukung para seniman melalui kontrak pintar yang memastikan kompensasi yang adil. Akan tetapi, masalah etika tetap ada. Ini termasuk bias dalam algoritma AI, tantangan kekayaan intelektual dalam platform NFT yang terdesentralisasi, dan akses digital yang terbatas untuk seniman yang terpinggirkan. Studi akademis dan analisis kasus menggarisbawahi tantangan-tantangan ini dan mengadvokasi kolaborasi di antara kurator, seniman, ahli teknologi, dan pembuat kebijakan. Pendekatan ini berusaha untuk menyelesaikan dilema etika, mempromosikan inklusivitas, dan menjaga integritas budaya dalam mengimplementasikan teknologi ini. Studi ini menekankan perlunya kerangka kerja kebijakan publik untuk mengatur AI dan blockchain, memastikan kompensasi dan akses yang adil terhadap manfaatnya sambil menjaga nilai-nilai budaya. Dengan mengatasi masalah ini, teknologi ini dapat membuka peluang baru bagi dunia seni.

Abstract

The working environment setup in small-scale fashion and textile establishments in Ghana face numerous ergonomic risk factors such as low environmental temperatures, noise levels, seating, and ventilation. Due to the continuous precision activities as well as the highly repetitive actions, fashion and textile designers are often exposed to muscle diseases and non-neutral joint postures. This study investigated the impacts of ergonomic risk factors on the productivity of the fashion and textile designers. We used descriptive, cross-sectional and correlational designs under the quantitative research approach to investigate the phenomenon of ergonomic risk factors faced by fashion and textile designers in the Kumasi Metropolis, Ghana. Three hundred and eleven respondents were selected using a random sampling procedure to respond to a closed-ended questionnaire. Additionally, an observation checklist was used to record workers activities at the various workshops. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, an independent sample t-test, and correlation. The findings provided strong evidence of the detrimental effects of ergonomic risk factors on the productivity levels of fashion and textile designers in Kumasi Metropolis. The study underscores the need for capacity building in ergonomic risk management to enhance the levels of productivity of fashion and textile designers. Faktor Risiko Ergonomis dan Dampaknya terhadap Tingkat Produktivitas Desainer Mode dan Tekstil di Wilayah Metropolitan Kumasi, Ghana Abstrak Lingkungan kerja yang diatur dalam perusahaan mode dan tekstil skala kecil di Ghana menghadapi banyak faktor risiko ergonomis seperti suhu lingkungan yang rendah, tingkat kebisingan, tempat duduk, dan ventilasi. Karena aktivitas presisi yang berkelanjutan serta tindakan yang sangat berulang, perancang mode dan tekstil sering kali terpapar penyakit otot dan postur sendi yang tidak netral. Penelitian ini menyelidiki dampak faktor risiko ergonomis terhadap produktivitas perancang mode dan tekstil. Kami menggunakan desain deskriptif, cross-sectional, dan korelasional dengan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif untuk menyelidiki fenomena faktor risiko ergonomis yang dihadapi oleh perancang mode dan tekstil di Kumasi Metropolis, Ghana. Tiga ratus sebelas responden dipilih menggunakan prosedur pengambilan sampel acak untuk menanggapi kuesioner tertutup. Selain itu, daftar periksa observasi digunakan untuk mencatat aktivitas pekerja di berbagai bengkel. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji-t sampel independen, dan korelasi. Temuan tersebut memberikan bukti kuat tentang efek merugikan dari faktor risiko ergonomis terhadap tingkat produktivitas perancang mode dan tekstil di Kumasi Metropolis. Studi ini menggarisbawahi perlunya pengembangan kapasitas dalam manajemen risiko ergonomis untuk meningkatkan tingkat produktivitas perancang busana dan tekstil.

Abstract

The importance of emotional intelligence in maximizing individual potential has sparked various studies related to this topic. In addition to research focusing on the mechanisms of emotional intelligence, several studies aim to explore ways to develop these skills more efficiently. Music has not escaped the attention of researchers due to numerous claims about its potential to enhance intelligence and optimize individual potential. One such area of focus is ensemble activities in both instrumental and vocal group contexts. The argument and theoretical framework supporting the potential of musical activities to improve emotional intelligence are based on the characteristics of routines in ensembles that overlap with general indicators of emotional intelligence. This research examines the influence of musical ensemble activities on emotional intelligence through an ex-post facto study involving 104 subjects divided into three groups using the adaptation of Goleman's emotional intelligence questionnaire. The subjects are orchestra musicians, choir singers, and those not engaged in musical activities. The selection criteria for musicians/choir singers involved in this study are as follows: They must have at least 5 years of experience in music ensemble. Based on a one-way ANOVA test, there was a significant difference in emotional intelligence scores according to the type of musical activity participated by the respondents (F(2,101) = 5.254, p=.0007). Post-hoc analysis using the Bonferroni correction revealed a significant difference between the group that did not participate in musical activities and the choir group (p=.006), with higher emotional intelligence scores observed in the choir group. No significant differences were found between the orchestra/ensemble group and the other groups (p>.05)  Kecerdasan Emosional dan Aktivitas Musikal: Studi Ex-Post Facto Praktik Musik di Indonesia Abstrak Pentingnya kecerdasan emosional dalam memaksimalkan potensi individu telah memicu berbagai penelitian terkait topik ini. Selain penelitian yang berfokus pada mekanisme kerja kecerdasan emosional, beberapa studi juga bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi cara-cara mengembangkan keterampilan ini secara lebih efektif. Musik tidak luput dari perhatian para peneliti karena banyak klaim mengenai potensinya dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan dan mengoptimalkan potensi individu. Salah satu fokus kajiannya adalah aktivitas ansambel, baik dalam konteks kelompok vokal maupun instrumental. Argumen dan kerangka teoritis yang mendasari potensi aktivitas musikal dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional didasarkan pada karakteristik rutinitas dalam ansambel yang tumpang tindih dengan indikator umum kecerdasan emosional. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh aktivitas ansambel musik terhadap kecerdasan emosional melalui studi ex-post facto yang melibatkan 104 subjek, yang dibagi ke dalam tiga kelompok berdasarkan adaptasi kuesioner kecerdasan emosional dari Goleman. Subjek terdiri dari musisi orkestra, penyanyi paduan suara, dan individu yang tidak terlibat dalam aktivitas musikal. Kriteria pemilihan musisi dan penyanyi paduan suara dalam studi ini adalah memiliki pengalaman minimal 5 tahun dalam aktivitas ansambel musik. Berdasarkan hasil uji ANOVA satu arah, ditemukan perbedaan yang signifikan dalam skor kecerdasan emosional berdasarkan jenis aktivitas musik yang diikuti oleh responden (F(2,101) = 5.254, p = 0.007). Analisis post hoc menggunakan koreksi Bonferroni menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok yang tidak mengikuti aktivitas musik dan kelompok paduan suara (p = 0.006), dengan skor kecerdasan emosional yang lebih tinggi pada kelompok paduan suara. Tidak ditemukan perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok orkestra/ansambel musik dengan kelompok lainnya (p > 0.05).

Abstract

This study aims to reconnect Cambodia with its rich cultural heritage amid cultural similarities that have been happening in Southeast Asia’s neighboring countries. This research used an exploratory descriptive research method with non-probability sampling technique and the application of pattern exploration. Drawing inspiration from a powerful historical figure Queen Soma, the Naga princess, a ready-to-wear collection was created with the fusion of traditional Cambodian attire and contemporary designs. Overall, this study brought a modern approach to traditional clothing to redirect the attention of people towards embracing Cambodian authenticity and promoting its significance to the modern world that could contribute to the cultural preservation. Koleksi Wanita Siap Pakai: Kenangan Raja Pertama Kamboja Ratu Soma Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghubungkan kembali Kamboja dengan warisan budayanya yang kaya di tengah kesamaan budaya yang terjadi di negara-negara tetangga di Asia Tenggara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif eksploratif dengan teknik non-probability sampling dan penerapan eksplorasi pola. Mengambil inspirasi dari tokoh sejarah yang kuat, Ratu Soma, putri Naga, koleksi pakaian siap pakai diciptakan dengan perpaduan pakaian tradisional Kamboja dan desain kontemporer. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini membawa pendekatan modern terhadap pakaian tradisional untuk mengarahkan kembali perhatian masyarakat terhadap keaslian Kamboja dan mempromosikan signifikansinya bagi dunia modern yang dapat berkontribusi pada pelestarian budaya.

Abstract

This article presents the results of a cultural reflection conducted over the past four years (October 2021 to early 2025) through research on Sesolahan Rêjang Kuno at Pura Luhur Batukau. Employing the epoche phase of Husserlian phenomenological methodology alongside the sahådaya–sahådayasamvàda approach derived from the Nāṭyaśāstra's rasa theory, qualitative data were systematically collected, analyzed, and validated through triangulation techniques. The study identifies factors facilitating transcendental experiences, outlines the processes by which transcendence occurs, examines its psychological impact on the dancers, and explores the theological frameworks of the supporting community and the cosmological context of Pura Luhur Batukau. Findings indicate that this transcendental potential remains largely unrecognized by both dancers and the community, as the performance of the Rêjang dance tends to be oriented primarily toward fulfilling ceremonial completeness (jangkep). This study therefore serves not only as a source of insight but also as a proposed solution for enhancing collective energy toward transcendence. More broadly, it offers a framework for the revitalization of ancient Sesolahan traditions in other regions and provides conceptual inspiration for the development of modern agricultural technologies grounded in traditional and even ancient agrarian civilizations, such as that flourishing on the southern slopes of Mount Batukau. Transendensi Pemujaan Ratu Hyang Tumuwuh di Balik Rangkaian Sesolahan Rêjang Kuno Pura Luhur Batukau Abstrak Artikel ini merupakan hasil refleksi budaya setelah empat tahun terakhir (Oktober 2021, sampai awal 2025) melakukan penelitian terhadap Sesolahan Rêjang Kuno Pura Luhur Batukau. Didukung penerapan tahapan epoche teori fenomenologi Husserlian dan metode sahådaya-sahådayasamvàda teori rasa Nāṭyaśāstra, diperoleh data-data kualitatif yang di analisis secara verstehen, kemudian diuji validitasnya melalui trianggulasi data berdasarkan waktu dan sumber data. Kesimpulan bermakna menarasikan tentang; faktor-faktor pendukung terjadinya transendensi, proses terjadinya, berikut dampak transendensi terhadap kondisi psikologis penari, prinsip teologis masyarakat pendukungnya, dan kondisi kosmologis Pura Luhur Batukau. Selama ini potensi tersebut belum disadari sepenuhnya oleh para penari maupun masyarakat pendukungnya, sehingga pelaksanaan setiap Rêjang lebih terkonsentrasi pada tuntas atau ‘jangkep’nya upacara. Oleh sebab itu, temuan ini menjadi informasi sekaligus solusi bagi peningkatan energi kolektif atas proses transendensi. Pada ruang lingkup lebih luas, dapat memotivasi pelestarian Sesolahan kuno di daerah lain, juga inspirasi bagi perkembangan teknologi agraris moderen berbasis peradaban agraris tradisional bahkan kuno, seperti peradaban agraris pegunungan di lereng selatan Gunung Batukau.

Abstract

The integration of cultural beliefs with nationalism is one of the most intriguing aspects of the development of national identity and unity. Pandji Pragiwaksono, an Indonesian stand-up comic, consistently integrates shared cultural values and representations into his performances to contribute to understanding Indonesian society towards nationalism issue. In his stand-up comedy performance, he emphasizes the importance of nurturing a sense of nationalism toward Indonesia as a nation. This article aims to investigate how Pandji incorporates cultural assumptions and representations into his performances, Nasional.is.me. This study used Stuart Hall's Representation theory as the data and Relevance theory for analysis to examine how he integrates shared cultural knowledge into his performances. In the performance, he engages in creative interactions with cultural beliefs and representations to mediate and negotiate the principle of nationalism. Konsep Nasionalisme dalam Komedi Stand-up Indonesia oleh Pandji Pragiwaksono Abstrak Integrasi antara keyakinan budaya dan nasionalisme adalah salah satu aspek yang paling menarik dalam pengembangan identitas dan kesatuan nasional. Pandji Pragiwaksono, seorang komika stand-up Indonesia, secara konsisten mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai dan representasi budaya bersama ke dalam pertunjukannya untuk berkontribusi dalam memahami masyarakat Indonesia terhadap isu nasionalisme. Dalam pertunjukan stand-up comedy-nya, ia menekankan pentingnya memupuk rasa nasionalisme terhadap Indonesia sebagai sebuah bangsa. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Pandji memasukkan sudut pandang dan representasi budaya ke dalam pertunjukannya, Nasional.is.me. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Representasi dari Stuart Hall sebagai data dan teori Relevansi untuk menganalisis bagaimana ia mengintegrasikan pengetahuan budaya yang dimiliki ke dalam pertunjukannya. Dalam pertunjukannya, ia terlibat dalam interaksi kreatif dengan kepercayaan dan representasi budaya untuk memediasi dan menegosiasikan prinsip nasionalisme.

Abstract

The Javanese culture of Cangkruk, a tradition of casual social interaction, has a positive chain effect for aspiring graphic designer students. This research aims to analyze the role of Cangkruk in developing creativity in junior graphic designers in Surakarta. The method used is a case study on students majoring in fine arts education at Sebelas Maret University, with a Peer Teaching approach and analysis of the creativity process according to Wallas, which includes four stages, which are preparation, incubation, illumination, and verification. This research found that Cangkruk culture functions as a space that supports peer learning and collaboration, a medium for reflection and design criticism, a source of inspiration and creative exploration, as well as emotional support and motivation. The creative process that occurs in Cangkruk allows designers to learn through real practice based on social interaction. By creating an open space that encourages dialog of ideas, collaboration, and reflection of design work, it can enrich the creative process to produce creative products that are compatible with the design industry. In conclusion, cangkruk can be positioned as an alternative pedagogical tool or informal learning space in developing the skills and creativity of junior graphic designers. This research recommends further exploration of the potential of Cangkruk culture in other disciplines and diverse cultural backgrounds and institutions. Peran Budaya Cangkruk dalam Mengembangkan Keterampilan dan Kreativitas pada Desainer Grafis Junior di Surakarta Abstrak Budaya Cangkruk merupakan tradisi masyarakat Jawa berupa interaksi sosial santai, memiliki efek berantai positif bagi mahasiswa calon desainer grafis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Cangkruk dalam mengembangkan kreativitas pada desainer grafis junior di Surakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus pada mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan seni rupa di Universitas Sebelas Maret, dengan pendekatan Peer Teaching dan analisis proses kreativitas menurut Wallas, yang meliputi empat tahap, yaitu persiapan, inkubasi, iluminasi, dan verifikasi. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa budaya Cangkruk berfungsi sebagai ruang yang mendukung peer learning dan kolaborasi, media refleksi dan kritik desain, sumber inspirasi dan eksplorasi kreatif, serta dukungan emosional dan motivasi. Proses kreatif yang terjadi dalam Cangkruk memungkinkan desainer untuk belajar melalui praktek nyata berbasis interaksi sosial. Dengan menciptakan ruang terbuka yang mendorong dialog ide, kolaborasi, dan refleksi karya desain dapat memperkaya proses kreatif untuk menghasilkan produk kreatif yang seusai dengan industri desain. Kesimpulannya, cangkruk dapat diposisikan sebagai alat pedagogis alternatif atau ruang pembelajaran informal dalam pengembangan keterampilan dan kreatifitas desainer grafis junior. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan eksplorasi lebih lanjut terhadap potensi budaya Cangkruk dalam disiplin ilmu lain dan latar belakang budaya serta institusi yang beragam.

Abstract

The main objectives of this study were to examine the situations, to analyze selected factors and to investigate the perceptions toward Rhynchostylis Gigantea Illustrations and Stress Levels of College of Communication Arts (CCA), Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Nakhon Pathom Campus. Data from 91 undergraduate students, questionnaires were analyzed. Understanding how visual representations influence psychological and emotional responses among students is a growing area of interest in educational research. In particular, the use of botanical illustrations in academic settings not only serves aesthetic and educational purposes but may also impact students' mental well-being. This study focuses on Rhynchostylis gigantea, a native orchid species of Thailand, and explores how illustrations of this flower are perceived by undergraduate students in terms of both visual appreciation and emotional impact at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Nakhon Pathom Campus—specifically within College of Communication Arts (CCA)—student stress levels are a concern due to academic pressures and personal challenges. In this context, the integration of botanical illustrations into the learning environment raises important questions about their potential role in influencing student perceptions and reducing stress. The main objectives of this study were to examine the current situations related to student perceptions of Rhynchostylis gigantea illustrations, to analyze selected influencing factors such as academic standing and prior exposure to visual arts, and to investigate overall student perceptions and associated stress levels. Data were collected from 91 undergraduate students through structured questionnaires and analyzed to identify patterns and relationships between the illustrations and student well-being. Faktor-Faktor yang Memengaruhi Persepsi Mahasiswa terhadap Ilustrasi Rhynchostylis Gigantea dan Tingkat Stres di Universitas Rajabhat Suan Sunandha Kampus Nakhon Pathom Abstrak Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memeriksa situasi, menganalisis faktor-faktor terpilih, dan menyelidiki persepsi terhadap Ilustrasi Rhynchostylis Gigantea dan Tingkat Stres di College of Communication Arts (CCA), Universitas Suan Sunandha Rajabhat, Kampus Nakhon Pathom. Data dari 91 kuesioner mahasiswa sarjana dianalisis. Memahami bagaimana representasi visual memengaruhi respons psikologis dan emosional di antara mahasiswa merupakan bidang minat yang berkembang dalam penelitian pendidikan. Secara khusus, penggunaan ilustrasi botani dalam lingkungan akademis tidak hanya melayani tujuan estetika dan pendidikan, tetapi juga dapat memengaruhi kesejahteraan mental mahasiswa. Studi ini berfokus pada Rhynchostylis gigantea, spesies anggrek asli Thailand, dan mengeksplorasi bagaimana ilustrasi bunga ini dipersepsikan oleh mahasiswa sarjana dalam hal apresiasi visual dan dampak emosional. di Universitas Suan Sunandha Rajabhat, Kampus Nakhon Pathom —khususnya di dalam Fakultas Seni Komunikasi (CCA)—tingkat stres mahasiswa menjadi perhatian karena tekanan akademis dan tantangan pribadi. Dalam konteks ini, integrasi ilustrasi botani ke dalam lingkungan belajar menimbulkan pertanyaan penting tentang peran potensialnya dalam memengaruhi persepsi mahasiswa dan mengurangi stres.Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti situasi terkini terkait persepsi mahasiswa terhadap ilustrasi Rhynchostylis gigantea, menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi seperti status akademis dan paparan sebelumnya terhadap seni visual, dan menyelidiki persepsi mahasiswa secara keseluruhan dan tingkat stres terkait. Data dikumpulkan dari 91 mahasiswa sarjana melalui kuesioner terstruktur dan dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan hubungan antara ilustrasi dan kesejahteraan mahasiswa.
