Abstract

Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are often faced with a number of problems that are very influential on their growth and can reduce their competitiveness, where one of them is the increase in Basic Electricity Tariff. The increase in Basic Electricity Tariff will occur every three months and the average annual increase is 15%, which will result a direct impact on surging production costs. The increase in Basic Electricity Tariff will result in declining growth of MSMEs, making it difficult to compete because MSMEs have to make adjustments to prices and ultimately result in weakening purchasing power. The Sensitivity Analysis of Basic Electricity Tariff increase on the sustainability of MSME businesses aims to (1) Know the structure of production costs in relation to electricity usage and (2) Create a sensitivity model for TDL increase on the sustainability of MSME businesses using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). This research is analytical descriptive and useful as an effort to focus on actions in anticipating the sensitive increase in Basic Electricity Tariff on the sustainability of MSME businesses. These actions include reducing the ratio of electricity costs to production costs and increasing capital to increase business turnover. This research is focused on MSMEs which are very sensitive to the increase in the Basic Electricity Tariff.

Abstract

WMSD frequently occurs in agriculture works, because the working conditions that require awkward posture in standing or sitting position as well as lifting and carrying heavy loads. Preliminary study showed that oyster mushroom farmers experienced pain in several of body parts especially their waist.  Therefore, this paper aims to evaluate the working posture of oyster mushroom farmers using AWBA (Agriculture Whole Body Assessment) and provide recommendation to reduce risk of musculoskeletal disorder. AWBA evaluates working posture and duration of upper (AULA) and lower extremities (ALLA). The result showed that activity of oyster mushroom production was risky, since 46,7% of all activities were categorized as “very high” and “high” level. Skor of AWBA posture correlated significantly with ALLA (0.812) and and AULA (0,56). Regression analysis showed that AWBA positively correlated with AULA and ALLA. Duration analysis showed that 86,7% working duration were classified as “very high”. The riskiest activity was harvested mushroom from top shelf. Furthermore, distribution and mixing raw materials, taking out baglog from sterilizer, harvesting mushroom from middle shelf, and packaging mushroom into plastic bag also risky activities, since the duration and posture measurement were classified as very high and high, respectively. Recommendation for reducing WMSD were redesigning working area and facilities of oyster mushroom production, such as design ergonomics baglogs’ shelves so that farmers position when reached the baglog was neutral, utilizing table and chair with suitable height in filling media into baglog, inoculation, releasing baglogs’ ring, and packaging activities.

Abstract

In order to increase economic growth through infrastructure development in Indonesia, the Government has agreed to increase strategic projects that are urgent to be implemented in the short term. The total project investment reaches IDR 4.183 trillion must be controlled and managed properly, this is where the Inspection Body is needed. The number of Inspection Bodies in Indonesia registered with the National Accreditation Committee (KAN) is 169 institutions. Of the total inspection bodies, 120 are active and have ISO 17020 certificates, while 44 other inspection bodies have their operational licenses revoked and 5 other inspection bodies have been suspended. Seeing this phenomenon, the question arises, why do 26% of the total inspection bodies in Indonesia have their operational permits revoked and the other 3% are frozen? Whereas the existence of this Inspection Agency is very strategic and needed in assisting the supervision of the implementation of national development projects, especially with the large potential benefits, namely 1% of the total value of national projects? This research uses the Balanced Scorecard with Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) weighting, the results of performance measurement at inspection service companies in 2020, the high score is financial performance 84%, second place is customer performance at 68%, learning, and growth with a score of 42% is in third place, and the last position is 38% of internal business processes. The total score of the inspection service company's performance is 231% (with an average of 57.76%) which means that the performance of the inspection body/company is currently not good. To test employee satisfaction, a questionnaire was conducted on 23 respondents from 4 inspection companies who were randomly selected from various positions ranging from managers to field inspectors, the results were still quite good, namely 3.99 (scale 1-5).

Abstract

The automotive industry is a mainstay because it has a contribution to the national economy. To maintain existence and survive in the midst of intense competition, every industry must be able to continuously improve the quality and performance company in general. Plastic injection manufacturing companies for automotive components are experiencing a decline in machine performance. Machine performance is related to losses that occur in the company. To find out the cause of a decline in machine performance, research is carried out by identifying processes, outputs, losses that occur and taking other actions if needed. Results of OEE calculation analysis, machine 7 has the lowest performance of a total of 8 machines. Low OEE value is influenced by availability, performance, and quality, of three components, the lowest average availability value is only 90%, machine 7 OEE is 81%. Factors affecting OEE are low because the value of availability is low. After analyzing with fishbone diagram, the cause of low availability is due to machine and method factors. Improvement to machine 7 using the SMED method showed a decrease in setup time by 36%, while improvements were made by changing setup flow, replacing machine components, and purging process. Impact of improvements increased availability by 96%, performance, and quality by 99%, while machine efficiency/OEE increased by 93,98%.

Abstract

Existing literature, as well as empirical studies on Bancassurance, emphasize that there has been a shifting business in the bank from selling bank products to IKNB (Non-Bank Financial Industry). In this study, Bancassurance is one of the IKNBs that must be sold because the feather-based income is quite large and has a small risk because the bank is a referral as a distribution agent. The purpose of this research is to determine the characteristics of Bancassurance in various countries for the first time in Indonesia so that our human resources are not unfamiliar with the insurance sold in banks and can adjust the strategy to market characteristics in Indonesia. This paper discusses Bancassurance with various methodologies ranging from Expert Judgment to Risk Management by involving 15 international journal studies related to the implementation of Bancassurance in various countries including Google Scholar, Elsevier, and Science Direct. This paper will be useful as a topic for further research where researchers can identify the effect of bancassurance on banking, risks that occur in bancassurance practice, solutions to sales strategies, and system bottlenecks that occur between bank sales and sales bancassurance. The result of this research is the reluctance of selling banks to sell insurance products because they do not understand the concept of life insurance and unit link. In addition, bancassurance sales resources placed in the bank are not as good as insurance agents in general due to different incentives, incentive problems, and bottlenecks in the sales execution flow also make insurance targets cannot be achieved optimally. The solution is that Re-skills must be done in the "Virtual Century" era because the insurance link unit has also shifted from offline meetings to online so that all systems are done digitally. Coordination between resources is expected to go through a digitization process so that customer claims are quickly resolved, referrals are quickly executed and periodic coaching can be carried out by prohibited branch heads/superiors. Bancassurance with unit link customization/personalization will be a new value proposition.
