Abstract

The analytical Hierarchy process (AHP) is a multicriteria decision making approach can be used to solve complex decision problems. This study aimed to use this objective tool to build ship fuel suppliers' selection model, utilizing competitive priorities administrative requirement, quality, delivery, finance, technical and price as an evaluation and selection criteria. The researcher has developed an evaluation questionnaire distributed to couple functional managers in the shipping company. This study concluded that the price is the most important criterion among competitive priorities criteria for selecting and evaluating suppliers as it got a percentage of 0.202, followed by technical criterion that got a percentage of 0.197 and finance got 0,191. Other criterion was quality that got 0.169 followed by delivery with 0.133 and the last criterion was administrative requirement with 0.108.

Abstract

PT Saptaindra Sejati (SIS) is a company engaged in coal services, the company produces pallet boxes which is a fabrication product that is currently the demand is always there and desirable customers. The pallet uses the main raw materials such as iron elbows, iron pipes and iron plates. The production of pallet-making boxes is strongly influenced by the increase in material prices and the costs required for the process. One method of product improvement is approximated by design for manufacturing (DFM). This method is a design method that will be used for manufacturing minimum product requirement of components, printing and quality. PT Saptaindra Sejati in the fabrication section that makes pallet boxes focus on reducing components and improving production quality. Reduce components done by non-tobacco materials but still improve product quality. The production process can be improved by simplifying the production process. The main purpose of the process is the cost that can minimize production and quality. The result of DFM implementation to produce 1 pallet box will produce production cost up to 20,0% and quality cost up to 27,1%.

Abstract

Various organizations in Indonesia  collaborate to make various types of medical ventilator prototypes due to Covid-19 demand. PERMENKES RI no. 54/2015 obliged all medical devices must go through testing and inspection process by authorized institution Badan Pengamanan Fasilitas Kesehatan (BPFK) under the Ministry of Health of  Republik Indonesia. This article has designed a performance measurement for the ventilator testing laboratory using MBNQA (Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award) approaching which is integrated with ISO/SNI-17025 requirement of both management and technical. There are ten technical requirements and fifteen management requirements of ISO/SNI-17025 inserted into seven Baldrige criteria: leadership, strategic planning, customer focus, management of assessment, analysis & knowledge, personnel, operations and results. Data and information is designed to be collected through interview and questionnaire on a Likert scale. The response score for each question and feedback will be evaluated based on the process and outcome dimensions. Further research is required to validate the questionnaire, conduct interviews, segregate management and laboratory technician questions, and add evaluation of ADLI (approach, dissemination, learning & integration) and LeTCI (levels, trends, comparisons & integration) methods as well the ADLI & LeTCI score and matrix results. The obtained MBNQA score will indicate award category of the laboratory as world leader or benchmark leader or only at early development stage.

Abstract. Bearing the title of public universities do not make the Department ofGraphic and Publishing - PNJ can relax in getting prospective students , this canbe seen from the decrease in the number of students who follow the specializationin the admission of students from year to year. The Department needs to do propermarketing efforts . One form of marketing that can be done is the Word of Mouth(WOM) marketing. Word of Mouth Marketing, can only be achieved if studentsare satisfied with the services provided. The results of the satisfactionmeasurement using SERVQUAL method, students are not satisfied with theservice and the value of the gap all the negative attributes, while basedmeasurements with IPA and QFD obtained five priority improvement is toprovide a suggestion box for students and accommodate the needs/complaints ofstudents through the PA (academic supervisor), makes excellent service standardsfor each division there, strengthen and expand the internet network and theexisting intercom especially classrooms, complete the number of books, the layoutof the book and reading room and create an e-library system to facilitate thesearch, borrow and return books, make plans for the procurement of laboratoryand workshop equipment .Keywords: education, SERVQUAL, IPA, QFD

Abstract

The existence of Industry 4.0 has a disruptive impact on the economic sector, which results in a complex level of competition. Anticipating this, the Indonesian government launched making Indonesia 4.0 in an effort to improve the performance and competitiveness of the national industry. One of the priorities is Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), because MSMEs are the backbone of the economic sector in Indonesia. On the other, MSMEs have a number of constraints in the form of limited capital and costs, lack of infrastructure and facilities, lack of work networks, inadequate human resources in the field of business and low use of information technology, which makes it difficult to compete. Therefore, MSMEs need information technology solutions that meet their needs. Adoption of cloud computing is one of the information technologies that is a solution for MSMEs to be able to improve their performance towards a better direction so that they can be competitive. The adoption of cloud computing in MSMEs has several consideration factors that are seen from the aspect of TOE. The purpose of this study, in the form of analysis of decision factors from the aspect of TOE in the adoption of cloud computing to the performance of MSMEs in Karawang Regency, using the SEM-PLS method with 100 samples of MSMEs. The results of this study indicate that the aspects of TOE affect cloud computing adoption and MSME performance, while cloud computing adoption does not affect the performance of MSMEs.

Abstract

Easier access to the global marketplace today makes local product competition with products from the global market increasing, pushing designers better to make machines as efficient as possible while still paying attention to their reliability. In obtaining good reliability, from the design stage of the machine and its manufacture must have root cause analysis that can help to guide design and manufacturing processes. However, for renewable energy fields, it is very difficult to build from the beginning as raw materials come from overseas acquired in the global market. In the domestic raw material is processed creatively to gain added value of the product and make it a superior product that is installed and marketed locally. Photovoltaic monitoring will independently keep the grid stable and conceptual able to monitor the health of every photovoltaic photo for its reliability can also be maintained. Good design with good manufacturing will also increase the reliability of solar power plants, with the appropriate field-based design and appropriate installation procedures in the root analysis of the problem increase significant reliability.
