Abstract

This research is based on the less optimal use of student books as teaching material and unavailability of modules, mainly facilitating students to learn in groups. Modules with NHT cooperative learning model can be used as teaching materials to ease students in learning mathematics by group discussion. This development research aims to manage and develop teaching materials in the form of Mathematics Module with Numbered-Heads Together (NHT) Cooperative Learning Model on the two-dimensional figure (Square and Triangle) for VII grade students. This study also aims to determine the feasibility of modules developed based on material experts, media experts, and student responses. This research was conducted using the ADDIE development model. The development steps include Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The Mathematics Module on two-dimensional figures (Square and Triangle) for grade VII Students is developed by integrating NHT cooperative learning steps. This product has passed through a revision phase based on the advice and inputs of material experts and media experts. This research shows that the teaching materials in the form of Mathematics Module with Numbered-Heads-Together (NHT) Cooperative Learning Model on the two-dimensional figure (Square and Triangle) for Junior High School Students in Grade VII have excellent quality proven from validity criteria. Based on the materials expert assessment, the average score of 137 meets the very - good criteria, and the assessment of media experts obtained an average of 136.3 that fulfills the criteria very well. The students' responses obtained an average of 131.6, which meets the criteria very well as well. Based on the results of the research, the Mathematics Module with Numbered-Heads-Together (NHT) Cooperative Learning Model on two-dimensional figure material (Square and Triangle) for Junior High School Students in Grade VII is suitable for mathematics learning.

Abstract

The mathematics students are learning outcomes are associated with many factors. Interest independent and parents attention some of the factors related to learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the presence or absence of a positive and significant relationship between interest independent and parents attention with learning achievement mathematics comes students class VIII Islamic Junior High Scool (MTs) Muhammadiyah Karangkajen Yogyakarta semester in the academic year of 2016/2017. This study's population is all students of class VIII MTs Muhammadiyah Karangkajen Yogyakarta semester in the academic year of 2016/2017, consisting of 5 classes with 151 students. The experimental class and the sample class were taken by random sampling technique to the class. They obtained the trial class VIII A and VIII B as the sample class. The technique of collecting data is done by test, questionnaire method, and interview. The instrument using the test, questionnaire method, and interview. Test the instrument using the validity test, a test of different power and reliability test. Test prerequisite analysis that is normality test, independent test, and linearity test. Analysis of data using product-moment correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.             The results showed a positive and significant relationship between independent interest and parents' attention to mathematics learning. Students class VIII in even Semester of MTs Muhammadiyah Karangkajen Yogyakarta semester in 2016/2017. Abstract

The lack of attention given to the materials the students by the teacher in the learning outcome processed studied mathematics students. One of the learning strategies that focus student against teacher is Role Playing learning strategies. The purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness of learning strategies among students who are using Role Playing learning strategies with students who use direct learning outcomes learning mathematics in grade VII semester odd SMP Negeri 1 Kebumen Regency Sempor school year 2016/2017. This research population is grade VII SMP Negeri 1 Kebumen Regency Sempor school year 2016/2017, with a total of 256 students. Penelitaian is a sample class VII A and VII B as a class experiment and control that is selected by random sampling against class. Method of collecting data using the method of documentation and tests. Research instrument in the form of a test of the ability of the beginning and test results of learning math. Data analysis is a test of the hypothesis.  Hypothesis test results of two parties with the significance level 5% and 62 degrees of freedom shows that: (1) there is a difference in the results of learning math learning strategies that use Role-Playing with Direct learning. This is shown on   = and 1.86763 = 3.0869 so   >  and (2) Learning Mathematics using Role Playing strategy is more effective than Direct learning. This is shown by the value = 3.0869 and = 1.6702,   > value.

Abstract

This research was initiated against the backdrop from a lack of enthusiasm about her three-way students in participating in learning to promote disorder to mathematics; the learning process is still had been centered on teachers are and lack of variation the use of kind of classroom in the learning process. The research aims to understand the whereabouts of the difference of the results learn math and effectiveness study results that use learning model cooperative type Group Investigation ( GI ) and Think Pair Share ( TPS ) to their students class VIII State Junior High School (SMP Negeri) 2 Pajangan Bantul. The research population is a student VIII at SMP 2  Pajangan Bantul in the academic year 2017/2018, Consisting of 4 classes. The sample took two classes, class VIII C as a class experiment 1 and class VIII B as a class experiment 2, was randomly selected, and agreed with the tutor. This research is research his experiments using to form designs experiment design research used is post-test-only control design. Technique analysis the data used to test a prerequisite is test normality, a test of homogeneity, and the hypothesis covering test-t.  Based on the results of test-t two parties obtained t_count= 2.25126  and t_table= 2.00134 so t_count>t_table means that there are significant differences between the results of learning math on the kids who taught by using learning model cooperative type GI than students who had by using learning model TPS on class VIII SMP 2 Pajangan Bantul. Moreover, based on the results of the t-test, one hand obtained t_count= 2.25126  and t_table= 2.00134, so t_count>t_table, which means that learning model cooperative type GI more important than the learning model think twisted share on class VIII SMP 2 Pajangan Bantul.

Abstract

The low of mathematics learning outcome is influenced by many factors. Learning independence, learning discipline and numerical ability are some of the factors that may affect the mathematics learning outcomes of students. Therefore, this research was conducted in order to determine whether there is a positive and significant relationship between learning independence, learning discipline and numerical ability with mathematics learning outcomes of students grade VII SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Yogyakarta in even semester of the academic year 2015/2016. The population in this research was all students of class VII SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Yogyakarta in the academic year 2015/2016 consisting of 5 classes with a total of 183 students. Random sampling techniques used to get class samples and collected VII C as a sample that consists of 37 students. Techniques of data collection were conducted by questionnaire to learning independence and learning discipline, being a test method for numerical ability and mathematics learning outcomes. Test instruments used validity and reliability. Prerequisite test analysis using homogeneity, normality test, independent, and linearity test. Hypothesis testing data analysis using simple linear regression analysis and multiple regression analysis and correlation. The results showed that there is a positive and significant correlation among learning independence, learning discipline and numerical ability with mathematics learning outcomes with F count = 12.1486271 > F table = 3.27 multiple correlation coefficient (R) is 0.497054456 and the coefficient determination (R2) is 0.5248098361. While multiple regression equation  = 91.67974362 + 0.2721162468X1 + 0.4013598791X2 + 0.4720896167X3, relatively contribution (X1) = 25.78224833%, the relative contribution (X2) = 36.63257052%, the relative contribution (X3) = 37.58518115% and effective contribution (X1) = 13.53077742%, the effective contribution (X2 ) = 19.22513318% and the effective contribution (X3) = 19.72507261%.

Abstract

The results of students' mathematics learning associated with many factors. Learning interest, learning independent, and learning facilities at home is factors that may be related to mathematics learning outcomes of students. This study aims to determine whether or not a positive and significant relationship between learning interest, learning independent learning facilities at home with mathematics learning outcomes in students class VIII at SMP Muhammadiyah Pakem Sleman on the even semester of the academic year 2016/2017.The population in this study was all eighth-grade students at SMP Muhammadiyah Pakem Sleman on even semester of the academic year 2016/2017 which consists of 4 classes with a total of 152 students as a sample class was class VIII A, which includes of 37 students using a random sampling technique to the class. Methods of data collection used questionnaires and tests—the instruments using validity, reliability testing, and different test power. Test requirements analysis was used the normality test, the independent test, and the linearity test. Data analysis for hypothesis testing used correlation analysis and linear regression analysis. The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between the learning interest (X1), learning independent (X2), and learning facilities at home (X3) with mathematics learning outcomes with  means  with R = 0,7114 and R2 = 0,5061 with , and RC(X1) = 34,4358 %, RC(X2)= 36,4429 %, and RC(X3)= 29,1214 %, EC(X1) = 17,4279 %, EC(X2) = 18,4437 %, and EC(X3)= 14,7383 %.

Abstract

The level of activity the students became a benchmark of success in learning. Student learning interactions are still low. This research aims to increase mathematics learning interaction using cooperative learning model type Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) grade VII C of even semester at State Junior High School 2 (SMP Negeri 2) Bantul Regency 2017/2018 the school year amounted to 32 students. The technique of data collection by observation and interview. Data collection instruments using sheets of observation, interview guidelines, and triangulation. The data analysis technique using data analysis, the results of observation, interviews, and data analysis triangulation. The results showed an increase in student learning interaction in the learning of mathematics. This is proven by the data observations on learning mathematics that has increased at every cycle, i.e., the average percentage in cycle I of 49.95% criteria enough. In cycle II, it increased to 66.90% with the criteria either.

Abstract

This research was conducted because the independence of learning mathematics in class X AK 1 even semester of SMK Muhammadiyah Kretek Bantul in the 2015/2016 academic year was still lacking. The purpose of this study is to improve the independence of learning mathematics using a reciprocal teaching approach to class X AK 1 even semester of SMK Muhammadiyah Kretek Bantul in the academic year 2015/2016. This research is a type of classroom action research. Subjects in this study were students of class X AK 1 even semester of SMK Muhammadiyah Kretek Bantul in the 2015/2016 academic year. While the object studied in this study is the reciprocal teaching approach as an effort to improve mathematics learning independence of students of class X AK 1 even semester of SMK Muhammadiyah Kretek Bantul in the academic year 2015/2016. The study was conducted in 2 cycles, namely, cycle I and cycle II, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. Cycle I and cycle II use the Reciprocal Teaching Approach. Data collection techniques in this study, namely observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Analysis of the data used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that learning using the Reciprocal Teaching Approach could improve mathematics learning independence of students of class X AK 1 even semester of SMK Muhammadiyah Kretek Bantul in the academic year 2015/2016. This is evident from the results of observations of students 'mathematics learning independence in each cycle has increased, namely the average percentage of students' mathematics learning independence in cycle I amounted to 48.5119% who achieved enough criteria, and in the second cycle increased to 64.88095% which achieved good criteria. The results of interviews with students showed a positive response to the independence of students learning mathematics.

Abstract

This research aims to know if there is a positive and significant of Relationship between Understanding Basic Concepts, Creativity Problem Solving, and Utilization of Learning Resources with Students Mathematics Learning Outcomes in Class VII in State Junior High School (SMP Negeri) 1 Bambanglipuro Bantul Regency of Even Semester Academic Year of 2016/2017. The sample class in SMP Negeri 1 Bambanglipuro Bantul in 2016/2017 consists of 7 classes. A sample class is a class VII D using random sampling. Data collection instruments using an Understanding Basic Concepts test, Creativity Problem-Solving test, questionnaires Utilization of Learning Resources, and mathematics achievement test. Test research instruments used validity, different test power, and Reliability test. Analysis prerequisite test, including normality test, linearity test, and independent test. Data analysis for hypothesis testing using correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between Understanding Basic Concepts, Creativity Problem Solving, and Learning Resources with Mathematics Learning Outcomes. The significant level of 5%, v1=3, v2=23, Fcount=4.3028 and Ftable=3,0279,Fcount> Ftable with multiple correlation coefficient of R2 = 0,3595, and multiple regression equation there variable is = -81,06 + 0,3948X1 + 1,3489X2 + 1,0474X3. Donations are relatively X1=26,8851%,  X2=37,6980%,  X3=35,4168%, with multiple determination coefficient of 0,750 and the effective contribution X1=9,6647%, X2=13,5518%, X3=12,7317%.

Abstract

The learning model is still used for the submission of verbal / lectures make students who have the ability to listen to high would be effective, but the students who have poor listening skills will be difficult to understand the material presented. It is thought to make low yields mathematics learning. This study aims to determine whether there is a difference in learning outcomes of students learning math using TANDUR and expository models and assess the effectiveness of the model TANDUR and the model Expository towards learning outcomes in mathematics class VII SMP Negeri 3 Kasihanin the Academic Year 2015/2016. The population in this study there are five classes. Samples were taken two classes with the technique of random sampling of classes and class VII D was chosen as an experimental class and class VII B as the control class. The design of this research is the control-group posttest only design. Data collection techniques using documentation technique and test technique. Data collection instrument in the form of test results to learn. Test data collection instruments used validity, distinguishing features and reliability testing. Data were analyzed using analysis prerequisite tests including normality test and homogeneity, continued to test the hypothesis using the T-test. Results of research on the significant level of 5% and dk = 52 show that: (1) There are differences in students' mathematics learning outcomes using models TANDUR with mathematics learning outcomes of students who use the Expository models. This is indicated by the value of tcount = 2.4125 and ttable = 2.01025 so tcount>ttable, and (2) a model TANDUR more effective than Expository models on the results of students' mathematics learning. This is indicated by the value of tcount = 2.4125 and ttable= 1.67492 so tcount >ttable.
