Abstract

This research aims to know the level of employees satisfaction, influence of compensation variables and which variable that may influence the level of employees satisfactory, also to know the position of each compensation variable toward level of employees satisfaction in Kopi Banyuatis Company. One of method that’s applied in this research was survey method. Data of this research were collected by spreading the questionnaire to 48 chosen respondents. The test which is done in this research, there are validity test, reliability test, index of satisfaction test, F test, and importance performance analysis. Result of the research shows that the level of employees satisfactory is as high as 82,43 percent toward variable of company compensation. The twelve chosen variables are very significantly influenced toward the level of employees satisfactory. Position of each variable which included in quadrant I are: the variable of company policy, responsibility of manager toward their task, chance for employees to pray, variable of comfortable working environment, comfortable working area, amount of salary, amount of employees social security, amount of holiday allowances, working uniform, rights leave fulfillment, and dispensation for illness, and self training & developing for employees.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: 1) pola dan alokasi pengeluaran masyarakat secara umum dansecara khusus untuk kebutuhan preventif kesehatan di Provinsi Jambi; 2) faktor-faktor sosial ekonomi yangmempengaruhi pengeluaran masyarakat untuk kebutuhan preventif kesehatan di Provinsi Jambi. Data yangdigunakan adalah data sekunder berupa data mentah hasil Survai Sosial Ekonomi Nasional (Susenas) Tahun2015 di Provinsi Jambi. Data bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Provinsi Jambi. Untuk menganalisispengeluaran masyarakat untuk kebutuhan preventif. kesehatan dilakukan secara deskriptif. Untuk menganalisisfaktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengeluaran masyarakat untuk kebutuhan preventif kesehatan digunakanmodel binary logit. Variabel dependen adalah alokasi pengeluaran rumah tangga untuk kebutuhan preventifkesehatan (mengalokasikan atau tidak mengalokasikan), sedangkan variabel independen adalah karakteristiksosial ekonomi rumah tangga. Hasil penelitian menemukan: 1) Pola konsumsi masyarakat Jambi terkategoripola konsumsi sedang; 2) Alokasi pengeluaran rumah tangga untuk kebutuhan preventif kesehatan di ProvinsiJambi masih relatif kecil yaitu hanya 7,08 persen dari total pengeluaran aneka barang dan jasa; 3) Faktor-faktoryang berpengaruh nyata terhadap pengeluaran rumah tangga untuk kebutuhan preventif kesehatan adalahumur kepala keluarga, pendidikan kepala keluarga, lapangan usaha pekerjaan kepala keluarga, jumlah anggotarumah tangga. Penelitian ini juga menemukan terdapat perbedaan nyata pengeluaran untuk kebutuhan preventifkesehatan antar kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Jambi

Abstract

From several decades, research about leadership has been directed toward exploration of informationrelated to determinant of leadership effectiveness. One out of these thousands of researches is done byLocke et al. (2002) which based on their study wrote a book about leadership effectiveness. They thendeveloped a leadership effectiveness model in organizational and business fields through qualitativeapproach. In this model there are four components must be fulfilled by a leader, i.e motive and traits;knowledge, skill, and ability; vision; and implementation of vision. This book provide a comprehensiveperspective about the essence of leadership because its picture deeply and detail related to key componentsof leadership effectiveness. However, they not discuss about leader ability to affect follower at all. Thislimitation may be due to this study has carried out through qualitative approach. Despite this limitation,there is one interesting matter must be observed attentively. Locke et al. points out the importance ofmanagement of meaning must be possessed by a leader, so he/she can manage and define situations as acritical ability that can be used as a guidance of action by the followers.

Abstract

The aim of this study to analyze the effect of household characteristics in Indonesia on child activities to workand school. Tendency to work and school are estimated by OLS and logit models using IFLS data 2000 and 2007.The estimation results prove that there is difference between boys and girls on child’s decision to work or school.These two activities are also influenced by gender of household head, parental education and income. Location ofresidence only affect the intensity of working children and not children’s education.

Abstract

Abstract The growth of Balinese population is increasing. In 1980 ? 1990 period the population growth is 1,18 % a year. It is moving up to 1,26 % in 1990 ? 2000 period. During 1990 ? 2000, from the nine regencies/city in Bali, the population growth of Denpasar City is higher than other regencies even higher than population growth of Bali, with is constitutes 3,20 %. The influence factors of population growth is consist of natural increase ( includes the number of birth and death ) and social increase with migration. The Denpasar population growth is not depending on natural increase component ( The government of Denpasar City, 2001) The registration data of migrant in Denpasar influence positively to the population growth. It means the number of in migrant is higher than the number of out migrant. In 1999 the number of net migrant in Denpasar is 5,448, 6,253 in 2000, and about 19,589 in 2001. The increase of migrant from 2000 to 2001 are about three times more. During this period the institution which has an authority to do the population registration at Denpasar City is the official staff of district (desa/kelurahan). However since several years, the participation of the traditional institution (banjar/desapakraman) has been involved with the establishment of some rules of Denpasar City, that is The Denpasar Regency?s Rule No : 5 year of 2000, and The Denpasar Regency?s Rule No : 14 year of 2002. Before the establishment of its, the participation of traditional institution at Sumerta area in handling migrant has been done. But the authority which is possessed only in the level of controlling. After the establishment of the regency?s rules, the authority of traditional institution spread wider. The authority of traditional institutional staffs are doing controlling, coordinating, and giving information to the migrant. Next, traditional institutional staffs have an authority to give recommendation to the migrant, even though they can register as inhabitants in this area.

Abstract

Handicraft industry has a very important role in Bali in general and in Badung regency especially in providing employment opportunities for the community. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of capital, raw material, wages and product price to the brick handicraft industry in revenue Badung regency. The method used is observation, structured interviews, and in depth interviews. This study used a technique sampling jenuh with 61 samples of entrepreneur of brick handicraft industry. Data were analyzed with multiple linear regression. The analysis showed that, simultaneously variable capital, raw material, wages and product price experience a significant effect on the revenue of brick handicraft industry. Determination coefficient of 80,3 percent, which means a variation or fluctuation revenue of entrepreneur of brick handicraft industry in Badung regency simultaneously influenced by the independent variables (capital, raw material, wages and product price capital). In partial capital, raw material, wages and product price positive and significant effect on the revenue of entrepreneur of brick handcraft industry in the Badung regency.

Abstract

This paper provides extensive review and categorization of the work-family conflict (WFC) literature. Review is begun with existence of six theoretical frameworks which most widely utilized in role conflict literature: role-related theory, resource-related theory, spillover theory, scarcity hypothesis, institutional theory, and social identity theory. The review is completed by recommendation of study and theory extension in the future by their shopistication from culture-neutral study and theory to culture-sensitive study and theory. This extension is expected to beneficial for both developing three ways interaction study and theory of role conflict and giving additional knowledge for organization and management in arranging role-balance initiative programs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keadilan organisasi, budaya organisasi, dan pemberdayaankaryawan terhadap komitmen organisasional. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada karyawan LPD Desa Adat Jimbaran.Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 78 responden dengan metode sampling jenuh. Pengumpulan datadilakukan dengan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Teknik yang digunakandalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel keadilanorganisasi, budaya organisasi, dan pemberdayaan karyawan berpengaruh positif terhadap komitmen organisasionalkaryawan LPD Desa Adat Jimbaran. Disarankan agar perusahaan harus mampu memberikan jadwal kerja secaraadil kepada seluruh karyawan, perusahaan harus mampu memotivasi karyawan dengan memberikan penghargaansehingga karyawan berkemauan kuat dalam bekerja, dan perusahaan juga harus memfasilitasi kapasitas potensialdengan memperoleh kompetensi karyawan sehingga karyawan mempraktikkan kemampuan yang dimiliki sepertiide-ide dan inovasi terbaik meraka bagi perusahaan.

Abstract

This article discussing about Indonesian’s labor. Many out of workersused the special way that was supplied by Government; the legalization ofrequirement agency was showed by Government. It was called the servicemobilization of Indonesian’s labor (Pengerah Jasa Tenaga Kerja Indonesia). Butthe requirement process and the place process of Indonesian’s labor were alwaysas disadvantages side. Many problems of the cost that have to be guaranteed byIndonesian’s labor candidates before they went to abroad. The law of enforcementto guarantee safety of Indonesian’s labor has not been priority yet. According tothe quantity, Semarang city sent many Indonesian’s labor to Malaysia. Thispurposes of this article are; 1) to describe the processing of sending managementIndonesian’s labor to Malaysia by Semarang’s PJTKI.2) to explain Indonesian’slabor interaction toward PJTKI and Government sent Indonesian’s labor toMalaysia by Semarang City. 3) To know the sending effects of Indonsian’s laborto Malaysia by Semarang’s PJTKI. According to the article result could beconcluded that Indonesian’s labor of Semarang has ever worked or will work toMalaysia that the age and education were contradiction to Government rule.Beside that, the sending process of Indonesian’s labor to Malaysia, either predeparture,placement, or return. It was still difficult and the deflection. BeingLegal Indonesian’s labor was more difficult and very bureaucratic that illegal –way.

Abstract

Human capital is one resource that can produce goods and services. Human capital as a multi-dimensional concept has meaning according to the interests of use. Similarly, human capital is the physical capital of the oldest in the world that is inherent in human beings that have been created since the human and born. Human capital has a narrower meaning than human resources, as more measure of the economic benefits alone. Report of the World Economic Forum includes human capital index of 122 countries in the world. However, the human capital index has not entered a real human character element is very important in improving the quality of human resources, in order to form a strong national character.
