Abstract

The student  learning results that low were indicated because the less of using innovative learning that make the lack of students' response in asking and responding to questions. These research aims to optimize student learning results of clss IX C SMP Negeri 27 Banjarmasin at the dynamic electrical subject through the application of cooperative learning type VAK. The specific purposes of this research were to describe: (1) adherence of the lesson plans, (2) student activities, (3) the student learning results, and (4) the student’s responses toward teaching and learning proces. These research were classroom action research that consists of 3 cycles. Collecting  data through observation, study test results, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. The  results were  analyzed by  descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results of this research were: (1) an increase in the percentage of adherence to the RPP in each cycle with the very well category, (2) the activity of student were categorized very well, (3) the results of student learning in the first cycle has not been completed in the classical completeness, in cycle II and III increased classically with complete categoy, (4) the student’s responses toward teacing  and learning proces were very well category. Based on the findings were obtained the conclusion that the student learning result of class IX C SMP Negeri 27 Banjarmasin on the dynamic electrical subject  can be optimized by the application of cooperative learning type VAK.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify student’s misconceptions on heat subject matter. For identifying student misconception, heat conceptual test instruments are developed. These test are three-tier essay and open-ended test items. These tests are validated by expert and tested empirically to 94 students. Based on empiric test, the validity, reliability, level of difficulty, and distinguishing matter are determined. The subject of this research is grade X Mathematics and Science Program SMAN 7 Banjarmasin that consists of 34 students in second semester of the academic year 2014/2015. This class is chosen by cluster random sampling. Data are analyzed qualitatively by data reduction, coding, data display, and conclusion drawing. Based on the data analysis, it is found that there are misconception and the test instruments can be used to identify student misconceptions.

Abstract

Penggunaan media pembelajaran di sekolah SMP Negeri 15 Banjarmasin masih sangat rendah terutama penggunaan media komputer, yang berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan umum penelitian ini untuk mengetahui ada/tidaknya perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media animasi dan media slide, dengan tujuan khusus untuk (1) mengetahui hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan media slide; (2) mengetahui hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan media animasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi  experimental design. Desain eksperimen yang digunakan pretest-posttest control group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara penggunaan media animasi dengan media slide terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 15 Banjarmasin, berdasarkan uji t  menunjukkan nilai asymp sig. 2-tailed sebesar 0,043. Hasil ini didukung oleh data-data: (1) hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan media slide berdasarkan nilai pretest dan posttest terdapat peningkatan dari nilai rata-rata siswa 46,5909  menjadi 68,7652; (2) hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan media animasi berdasarkan nilai pretest dan posttest terdapat peningkatan yang lebih tinggi dibanding hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan media slide yaitu dari nilai rata-rata siswa 44,6970  menjadi 75,0000.

Abstract

Learning materials used on the learning process in schools still considered not optimal and need to be developed. The impact of this is low cognitive results of students and consequently still need to be improved. Based on that, development of a learning equipment using a cooperative learning model conducted, which has specific purposes to describe: (1) validity of the learning equipment, (2) the practicability of learning equipment based on how it carrying out lesson plan, (3) the effecticeness of learning equipment based on student's cognitive achievement. The research stated: (1) learning equipment is considered valid with a good criteria, (2) the practicability of learning equipments are rated to be implemented very well, (3) the effectiveness of learning equipments has a high criteria. Based on the result of the research can be concluded that the natural science learning equipment which developed is viable for use in learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fakta yang didapatkan dari hasil observasi di SMA Negeri 5 Banjarmasin, diantaranya adalah berkembang pesatnya penggunaan media sosial dan terdapat hasil belajar yang rendah dalam bidang fisika. Pesatnya penggunaan media sosial ditandai dengan mayoritas siswa yang memiliki akun media sosial dan aktif menggunakannya.Sedangkan rendahnya nilai fisika terlihat melalui nilai hasil belajar pada ujian tengah semester yang berada di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara keaktifan penggunaan media sosial dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pelajaran fisika pada siswa – siswi kelas X dan XI IPA di SMA Negeri 5 Banjarmasin tahun ajaran 2015/ 2016. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X dan XI IPA di SMA Negeri 5 Banjarmasin tahun ajaran 2015/ 2016 yang berjumlah 200 orang. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini ditentukan dengan rumus Slovin, yaitu berjumlah 133 orang yang diambil menggunakan systematic random sampling.Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan angket dan nilai hasil belajar sebagai data penelitian.Berdasarkan hasil uji persyaratan analisis data diperolah bahwa data diambil dari populasi yang berdistribusi normal, homogen dan linier. Untuk teknik analisis data digunakan uji korelasi product moment one tailed dengan uji pihak kiri. Hasil dari data analisis adalah nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,196, dimana r hitung (0,196) > r tabel (0,169).Sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Artinya terdapat hubungan yang negatif dan signifikan antara keaktifan penggunaan media sosial dengan hasil belajar fisika pada siswa kelas X dan XI IPA di SMA Negeri 5 Banjarmasin.

Abstract

Based on interviews with a teacher of science at Junior High School 17 Banjarmasin are obtained that the result of student learning is still low. It is caused the pattern learning that takes place often using lecture method so that need to doing the research. The general objective of the research is to know the use of problem posing approach on static electricity subject to improve the result of student learning at IX grade in Junior High School 17 Banjarmasin. The specific objectives of the research are to describe (1) lesson plan adherence; (2) result of student learning; and (3) response of student towards learning. This research is a classroom action research of Kemmis and Mc Taggart model which consisting of two cycles in four times of meeting consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Devices and instruments are used are the lesson plan, handout, student worksheet, result of learning test, lesson plan sheet, and response questionnaire. Analysis of data is used are quantitative and qualitative. The results of the research are (1) lesson plan adherence increased from the first cycle of 80,42%, and the second cycle of 87,11%; (2) the result of student learning classically completed from the first cycle of 85,71% and the second cycle of 90,47%; (3) respond questionnaire of student got well response. Be obtained the conclusion that the problem posing approach can improve the result of student learning at IX grade in Junior High School 17 Banjarmasin on static electricity subject.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa serta tingginya persentase siswa yang tidak tahu konsep dan miskonsepsi dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas VIII B SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Banjarmasin, melatarbelakangi penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar sdan miskonsepsi siswa melalui model pembelajaran generatif. Tujuan khusus penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan: (1) keterlaksanaan rencana pembelajaran, (2) hasil belajar siswa, (3) miskonsepsi siswa melalui model pembelajaran generative. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart yang terdiri dari dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian adalah 23 siswa kelas VIII B SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Banjarmasin. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes, dan observasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriftif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar keterlaksanaan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) keterlaksanaan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran siklus I berkategori baik dan siklus II berkategori sangat baik, (2) Ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 33,33% dan siklus II sebesar 72,22%, (3) miskonsepsi mengalami pengurangan setiap siklusnya untuk semua butir soal. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII B SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Banjarmasin meningkat dan miskonsepsi siswa berkurang setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran generatif.The lack of student learning outcomes the high percentage of students that do not know the concepts and misconceptions in the process of teaching and learning in class VIII B SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Banjarmasin,  then research are conducted which aims to describe how to improve student learning outcomes of generative learning models. The aims are to describe how to improve learning outcomes of generative learning models. The specific objectives of this study are to describe: (1) the implementation of the lesson plan, (2) learning outcomes, (3) misconceptions through generative learning models. This research is a classroom action research model Kemmis and Mc Taggart consisting of two cycles and each cycle consists of two meetings. Data obtained through tests, and observations. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitative and quantitative. The instruments used in this study are the implementation lesson plan sheet and test for learning outcomes.  The results showed: (1) the implementation of the lesson plan of the cycle I learned in good category and the second cycle in the very good category, (2) The students' learning achievement classically in cycle I was 33.33% (unfinished) and second cycle is 72,22%, (3) misconception experienced a reduced each cycle for all items. The conclusion is that the learning outcomes of students of grade VIII B SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Banjarmasin increased and student misconceptions are reduced after applied generative learning model.

Abstract

The low of student learning outcomes in learning physics, because learning process tense, students interest to learning in science is low yet. It is necessary for research that aims to describe the effectiveness of the quantum teaching-learning development to improving student learning outcomes. The aim, in particular, are described: (1) the feasibility of the device, (2) implemented RPP, (3) student activities, (4) student learning outcomes, and (5) the student's interest. Learning refers to the development using of Dick & Carey model. Data collection techniques used observation, achievement test, and questionnaire. Data obtained by descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results showed: (1) a device in the effective category to be used, (2) implemented RPP at a meeting I, II, III are goods category, (3) each meeting student activity are increased in the excellent category, (4) increase every classical completeness meeting with percentages respectively 71.18%, 81.25% and 84.37%, (5) the student's interest towards learning well categorized. The retrieved conclusion that the effectiveness of the quantum teaching-learning teaching materials elasticity in the effective category.

Abstract

This research relates to the implementation of TGT in State Senior High School 12 (SMAN 12) Banjarmasin. The research objective is to describe that the Lesson Plan is well implemented, social skill, the learning result, as well as the students’ response through the learning process. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) of Hopkins model which is divided into 3 phases. To collect the data of this research is using questioners, observation, test, and documentation. The data is analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively.  The result of the research: (1) the Lesson Plan that implemented in phase 1 is 79%, II 93%, and III 100% with very good result, (2) The students’ social skill enhance in every phase, (3) the result of the students’ learning classically enhanced, in phase I is about 56% (not passed), II 80% (not passed), and III 92% (passed). (4) the response of interest and student’s motivation to follow cooperative learning is a good category. The conclusion is the application of cooperative learning TGT can enhance the students’ social skill.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran fisika diduga ada kaitannya dengan proses pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru sehingga kurang interaksi antara guru dan siswa yang menjadikan siswa pasif dan kurang perhatian untuk belajar kreatif dalam memecahkan masalah yang bersifat efektif. Oleh sebab itu penulis melakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada materi fluida statis. Tujuan khusus penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan: (1) keterlaksanaan RPP (2) hasil belajar (3) keterampilan sosial. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan tiga siklus yang terdiri: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah RPP, handout, LKS dan THB. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data terdiri dari: observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Temuan penelitian: (1) keterlaksanaan RPP pada terjadi peningkatan ditiap siklusnya 3.12 3.37, 3.67 ; (2) ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal juga terjadi peningkatan ditiap siklusnya yaitu sebesar 6.90%, 67.85%, dan 86.67%. (3) Keterampilan sosial pada siklus I yaitu 70%, 55%, 60%, siklus II 80%, 65%, 85% dan siklus III 85%, 90%, 90%. Simpulan berdasarkan temuan tersebut bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPA 2 SMAN 10 Banjarmasin pada materi fluida statis meningkat setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD.
