Abstract

Abstract. Responsibility as life skills and career 21st century. There is still limited knowledge and have not been integrated in a comprehensive manner. The goal of this study is to identify student’s responsibility Department PMIPA of Lambung Mangkurat University in learning Physics. This study used a qualitative approach with survey method. Subjects were 156 students of biology education; chemistry education, physical education, and science education are a program fundamental physics course. Data collected from questionnaires, observations, and interviews. Data were analized by descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results of questionnaire showed that most students feel responsible for participating, respect for others, teamwork, leadership, and expression with the criteria of good/excellent, but the observations and interviews show that  a lot of student are difficulties in leading and expression, as well as some students still deficient/sufficient in participating, respect for others, and team work. Keywords: Responsibility, Fundamental Physics Abstrak.  Tanggung jawab sebagai keterampilan hidup dan berkarir abad 21 ternyata masih diajarkan sebatas pengetahuan dan belum diintegrasikan secara komprehensif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi tanggung jawab mahasiswa Jurusan PMIPA Universitas Lambung Mangkurat dalam pembelajaran fisika. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode survey. Subyek penelitian adalah 156 mahasiswa pendidikan biologi, pendidikan kimia, pendidikan fisika, dan pendidikan sains yang memprogram mata kuliah fisika dasar. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, pengamatan, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa merasa bertanggung jawab dalam berpartisipasi, menghormati orang lain, kerja sama, memimpin, dan menyampaikan pendapat dengan kriteria baik/sangat baik, tetapi hasil pengamatan maupun wawancara menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa kesulitan dalam memimpin dan menyampaikan pendapat, serta beberapa mahasiswa masih kurang/cukup dalam berpartisipasi, menghormati orang lain, dan kerja sama. Kata kunci: Tanggung Jawab, Fisika Dasar

Abstract

Abstract :  This paper explain: (1) Background of civic education in Indonesia (2) Problems in implementing civic education in Indonesia (3) How the character of civic education in Economic Asean Society (MEA) is. Civic education in Indonesia as the background by along history of Indonesian since colonialism era until filling independence era that can make different ruled based on each era. Many problems in implementing civic educatioan in Indonesia is : (a) study more give high knowledge but less application, (b) some teacher not able to manage classroom efectivety, (c) between material of civic educatioan and time allocation is not balance, (d) civic education in Indonesia can make negative effect for students perceptions, (e) some teacher teach still use the conventional model, (f) activities teachers more dominant than students. The role of civic education in the face of Economic Asean Society (EAS) : (a) increasing awareness and sense of nationalism to local products, (b) propose an appropriate legal products to create a fovorable regulatory Indonesia for example, every citizen of a foregin working in Indonesia should be able to speak Indonesian, invested capital should be in rupiah. (c) mainting an attitude independent and active foreign policy and not fixated on intra-Asean trade, (d) promote and introduce the Pancasila economic system is Indonesian economic condition in order to stay awake. Keywords: Civic education, Economic Asean Society Abstrak. Makalah ini menjelaskan: (1) Latar belakang pendidikan kewarganegaraan di Indonesia, (2) Permasalahan dalam menerapkan pendidikan kewarganegaraan di Indonesia (3) Bagaimana karakter pendidikan kewarganegaraan dalam Masyarakat Ekonomi Asean (MEA). Pendidikan kewarganegaraan di Indonesia berlatar belakang sejarah Indonesia yang panjang sejak era penjajahan hingga era kemerdekaan yang mana tiap-tiap era memliki peraturan yang berbeda. Berbagai masalah dalam menerapkan pendidikan kewarganegaraan di Indonesia diantaranya adalah: (a) pelajaran lebih banyak memberi pengetahuan namun kurang aplikasinya, (b) beberapa guru tidak dapat mengelola kelas secara efektif, (c) tidak seimbang antara banyaknya materi ajar pendidikan kewarganegaraan dan alokasi waktu, d) Pendidikan kewarganegaraan di Indonesia dapat menimbulkan dampak negatif bagi persepsi siswa, (e) beberapa guru masih mengajar menggunakan model konvensional, (f) kegiatan guru lebih dominan daripada siswa. Peran pendidikan kewarganegaraan dalam menghadapi Masyarakat Ekonomi Asean (MEA): (a) meningkatkan kesadaran dan rasa nasionalisme terhadap produk lokal, (b) mengajukan produk hukum yang sesuai untuk menciptakan peraturan yang mengatur Indonesia misalnya, sebagai contoh, setiap warga negara asing yang bekerja di Indonesia harus bisa berbahasa Indonesia, modal yang diinvestasikan harus dalam rupiah. (c) mempertahankan kebijakan politik luar negeri yang independen dan aktif dan tidak terpaku pada perdagangan intra-ASEAN, (d) mempromosikan dan mengenalkan bahwa sistem ekonomi Pancasila adalah kondisi ekonomi Indonesia agar tetap mawas diri. Kata kunci: Pendidikan kewarganegaraan, Masyarakat Ekonomi Asean.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to describe the effect of emotional intelligence, parents’ attention, and mathematics learning habits on students' achievement in mathematics, both simultaneously and partially. This study is an ex post facto research that is correlational. The subjects of the study were students of Class XI of SMK 1 Tomoni. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique. The data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The results showed that there was a positive effect of emotional intelligence, parents’ attention, and mathematics learning habits on students' achievement in mathematics, both simultaneously and partially. Keywords: emotional intelligence, parents’ attention, mathematics learning habits, students' achievement in mathematics. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh kecerdasan emosional, perhatian orang tua, dan kebiasaan belajar terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa, baik secara simultan maupun secara parsial. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex post facto yang bersifat korelasional. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa Kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Tomoni. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan teknik statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif kecerdasan emosional, perhatian orang tua, dan kebiasaan belajar matematika terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa, baik secara simultan maupun secara parsial. Kata kunci: kecerdasan emosional, perhatian orang tua, kebiasaan belajar matematika, prestasi belajar matematika.

Abstract

Abstract: Result of a preliminary study showed that in general the collaborative problem solving skills, science process skills, and confidence of students of SMA Negeri 19 Surabaya, SMAN 1 Tegaldlimo, MA Roudlotun Nasyin Mojokerto are still low. Therefore, researchers developed a model instructional group science learning to enhance collaborative problem solving skills, science process skills, and confidence. The purpose of this research is to get validity of Group Science Learning (GSL) developed to improve collaborative problem solving skills, science process skills, and confidence. Methods of data collection validation using Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Group science learning model developed needs to be validated by experts through Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Group science learning model assessed the validity of the learning model based on content validity and construct validity. Results of the validation by experts through focus group discussions indicate that group science learning model to improve the collaborative problem solving skills, science process skills, and confidence in this study are included in the category of very valid. This group science learning model can be implemented in learning to improve the collaborative problem solving skills, science process skills, and confidence. Keywords:  content validity, construct validity,  and group science learning model  Abstrak: Hasil studi awal menunjukkan bahwa secara umum keterampilan pemecahan masalah kolaboratif, keterampilan proses sains, dan kepercayaan diri siswa SMA Negeri 19 Surabaya, SMA Negeri 1 Tegaldlimo, MA Roudlotun Nasyin Mojokerto masih rendah. Oleh karena itu peneliti bermaksud mengembangkan model group science learning. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan validitas model Group Science Learning  yang dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah kolaboratif, keterampilan proses sains, dan kepercayaan diri. Metode pengumpulan data validasi menggunakan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Validitas model pembelajaran Group Science Learning dinilai berdasarkan validitas isi dan validitas konstruk. Hasil validasi oleh pakar melalui FGD menunjukkan bahwa model Group Science Learning untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah kolaboratif, keterampilan proses sains, dan kepercayaan diri dalam penelitian ini termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Model Group Science Learning dapat diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah kolaboratif, keterampilan proses sains, dan kepercayaan diri.Kata Kunci: Validitas isi, validitas konstruk,  dan group science learning model

Abstract

Abstract. Utilization of chitin as a stationary phase of TLC to separate the compound components from plants had been carried out. The objective of this study was to investigate (1) the effectiveness of chitin as a stationary phase in TLC to separate the compound components of plants, and (2) composition of compounds in plant extracts that can be separated by chitin. Research method is experiment in laboratory. Sampling technique of plant extract (mahogany seed, turmeric rhizome, and pandanus leaf) using random sampling technique, while shrimp shrimp skin is shrimp waste from Indu Manis Banjarmasin factory. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitative. The results showed that chitin rendemen successfully isolated from shrimp skin was 36,44%. Chitin is effectively used as an alternative to stationary phase in TLC to separate the compound components from plant sample extracts (mahogany seeds, pandanus leaves, and turmeric rhizomes). Keywords: chitin, stationary phase of TLC, and separation of plant compound components. Abstrak. Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang pemanfaatan kitin sebagai fasa diam KLT untuk memisahkan komponen senyawa dari tumbuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) efektivitas kitin sebagai fasa diam pada KLT untuk memisahkan komponen senyawa dari tumbuhan, dan (2) komposisi senyawa dalam ekstrak tumbuhan yang mampu dipisahkan oleh kitin. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimen di laboratorium. Teknik pengambilan sampel ekstrak tumbuhan (biji mahoni, rimpang kunyit, dan daun pandan) menggunakan teknik random sampling, sedangkan kulit udang merupakan limbah kulit udang dari pabrik Indu Manis Banjarmasin. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rendaman kitin yang berhasil diisolasi dari kulit udang sebesar 36,44%. Kitin cukup efektif digunakan sebagai alternatif fasa diam  pada KLT untuk memisahkan komponen senyawa dari ekstrak sampel tumbuhan (biji Mahoni, daun Pandan, dan rimpang Kunyit).  Kata Kunci: kitin, fase diam KLT, dan pemisahan komponen senyawa tumbuhan.

Abstract

Abstract. Currently, there are more teachers who only use textbooks as the only medium of teaching and learning. For this reason, an alternative solution is needed by developing Microsoft PowerPoint as a teaching and learning medium. The objectives of the study are to develop positive attitudes and generate teachers’ interest in the use of informatics education media into teaching and learning activities. The research used school action research method conducted in 2 cycles. The data was analyzed by using percentage technique and was qualitatively descripted. The results showed that the performance of teachers in teaching by making, presenting material using the media presentation of MicrosoftPowerPoint in SMAN 1 Banjarmasin is categorized as active and very good. The lowest score for the assessment of teaching activities is 59 (81.94%) and the highest is 70 (97.22%). While the lowest value for the assessment of manufacture and presentation is 52 (86.66) and the highest is 60 (100%).  Keywords: teacher performance, presentation media, Microsoft PowerPoint  Abstrak. Saat ini masih banyak guru yang hanya menggunakan buku pelajaran sebagai satu-satunya media pembelajaran. Untuk itu perlu alternatif pemecahan masalah dengan mengembangkan Microsoft PowerPoint sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sikap positif dan membangkitkan minat guru terhadap penggunaan media pendidikan informatika ke dalam kegiatan proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan sekolah dengan 2 siklus. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik persentase dan dideskripsikan secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kinerja guru dalam mengajar dengan membuat dan menyajikan materi menggunakan media presentasi microsoft powerpoint di SMA Negeri 1 Banjarmasin termasuk kedalam kategori aktif dan sangat baik. Nilai terendah untuk penilaian kegiatan mengajar 59 (81,94%) dan tertinggi 70 (97,22%), sedangkan nilai terendah untuk penilaian pembuatan dan penyajian 52 (86,66) dan tertinggi 60 (100%).   Kata Kunci : kinerja guru,  media presentasi, Microsoft Powerpoint.

Abstract

Abstract. Research has been carried out which aims to develop feasible the props of Physics Energy course through project-based learning based on validity, practicality, and effectiveness of props. This research is research and development using the Dick and Carey development model. The subjects of this research trial were students of the Department of Physics Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education  Universitas Lambung Mangkurat who took  Physics Energy courses in the even semester of 2016-2017 academic year. The instruments used in this research were validation sheets, questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. Data were analyzed by using quantitative descriptive. The results of the study show that the validity of props is quite valid, the practicality of props is  practical category, and the effectiveness of props is effective category. Based on the results of the research, the props are feasible to be used as the props in Physics Energy course.Keywords: props, physics energy, project based learning.Abstrak. Telah dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan alat peraga fisika energi yang layak melalui perkuliahan berbasis project based learning berdasarkan validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas alat peraga. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan Dick and Carey.  Subjek uji coba penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Fisika Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Lambung Mangkurat yang menempuh mata kuliah Fisika Energi pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2016-2017.  Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi, angket, dan tes hasil belajar. Data dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan validitas alat peraga berkategori cukup valid, kepraktisan alat peraga berkategori praktis, dan efektivitas alat peraga berkategori efektif.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut alat peraga fisika energi layak digunakan sebagai alat peraga dalam perkuliahan fisika energi. Kata kunci: Alat peraga, fisika energi, project based learning.

Abstract

The general purpose of this action research is to describe the effectivity of the direct instruction (DI) model application in increasing the university students’ potential scientific basis in Basic Physics 2 under the subject of basic electrostatics. To study the materials and solve the problem of physics in this lecture, the scientific basis competence in the form of procedural skill and declarative knowledge is needed. The research result has shown that the effectivity of the instruction application in increasing the university students’ scientific basis competence is 76,4% in the effective category. It is suggested that in the lecture of Basic  Physics 2, it is best for the lecturer to apply the direct instruction (DI) model, especially in increasing the university students’ scientific basis competence in depicting, presenting, and    explaining the meaning of the basic physical formula of Physics.

Abstract

This article has the objective to state that farming by moving is not the cause of ecological disaster. Such activity is the local genius that is done and developed by masyarakat Bukit di Mount Meratus in order to keep the nature and human being. Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to improve the ability of students to analyze science learning material based on cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains. This Classroom Action Research uses the Kemmis & Taggart design. The subjects of this study were students of Science Education Study Program of Lambung Mangkurat University. The research instrument used was an observation sheet in the form of a check list. The results showed an increase in the ability of students from the dominant was quite good (55.32%) in the first cycle to be dominant in the criteria of good (63.83%) in the second cycle. Keywords: science learning material analysis, cognitive, psychomotor, affective Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menganalisis materi IPA berdasarkan ranah kognitif, psikomotor, afektif.
