Abstract

The 212 Movement was once a lively issue being discussed among academics. Each academician has his own perspective in terms of analysis of the emergence of the Islamic Defending Action. One of the highlights of an analysis from Vedi Hadiz which explains that the phenomenon of Islamic Defending Action is actually a formof disillusionment with the failure of the international system. Those who are marginalized then use the vehicle "right populism" as a tool to express injustice. But this article will explain the phenomenon of Islamic Defending Action with framing analysis. Framing is a method of presenting reality in which the truth about an event is not totally denied, but it is subtly deflected, by giving an emphasis on certain aspects (Sukmana, 2016). In general, framing analysis is used in media communication studies. But in this paper the framing approach used is viewed in terms of the social movement approach. The results showed the involvement of the mass media in forming framing related to the factors that led to the creation of a collective identity. A few months before the emergence of the Islamic Defending Action movement, there were important actors such as the GNPF-MUI and FPI who played dominant discourse related to the issue of blasphemy by Ahok. The emergence of the Islamic Action Movement I, II, and III shows the framing carried out to form a collective identity by the movement's actors in framing the events of blasphemy on religion committed by Basuki Tjahaja Purnama. The emergence of the movement then becomes a momentum of consolidation of Muslims in their efforts to fight the hegemony of the global political system which is manifested in the form of government power which in turn will bring up new discourse regarding the #2019GantiPresiden movement

Abstract

ABSTRACTWhen looking at social interactions between communities, we cannot deny the presence of the influence of religious frames as the basis for people's thinking and acting. It is not uncommon for clashes between communities on the pretext of differences in religion and religious understanding that lead to multi-faceted conflicts as a result of globalization and "migrant labor" in which everyone starts looking for a living overseas, which is sometimes different from SARA. One of the obstacles that arises and becomes the source of conflict in a pluralistic society is the low understanding of multiculturalism which results in an unfamiliarity and an ineffectiveness in thinking and acting, which ultimately reduces social ethics which are actually the nature of God. This paper is a literature study that focuses on the fields of ethics and multiculturalism in the world of higher education which must be well aware of both its theory and application. Therefore, this paper critically examines the concept of ethics education and multiculturalism for students as potential future figures so that they are able to apply well in public spaces, social media, and families when they are or have been in college.

Abstract

: On the teacher's side, the implementation of the 2013 curriculum includes a scientific approach, which is a more comprehensive approach at the stages of observing, questioning, associating / reasoning, gathering information and communicating. (Ministry of Education and Culture, 2014). The application of the scientific approach can be said to be a form of reform in the education sector. Reform that provides learning services and facilities to all students, where students can study in a learning environment that allows the development of knowledge, attitudes and skills. This approach aims to improve intellectual abilities, especially the thinking skills of high-level students, and shape students' ability to solve a problem systematically. In connection with these demands, the readiness of teachers to implement and apply them in the learning process is very important for the success of the scientific approach. Because no matter how ideal and good the educational curriculum is without being balanced with the ability of teachers to implement it, everything will be less meaningful (Sanjaya, 2010). From this statement, it can be concluded that the teacher's ability is the essence of the success of a lesson, both in the ability to plan and in implementing learning. Based on this, the authors are interested in conducting research with the title "Application of Scientific Approaches to Teaching Speaking Skills Using Songs in Eighth Grade MTS Al-Hidayah Dukupuntang"

Abstract

The Islamic Community Development is the implications of the concept of community development that emerged in response to the problems faced by human beings related to the development. From its history the islamic community development is a form of da'wah by deed (da'wah bil haal). The spirit of da'wah in community development is what characterizes the values of islamic goodness as an effort to overcome the problems that occur in society. As a perspective, the islamic community development can be used to capture the changes that occur in the community, especially in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic. The perspective of islamic community development also provides recommendations on adaptation and mitigation of the handling of Covid-19 by promoting islamic values sourced from the Qur'an and hadith.

Abstract

Abstract. Indonesia is a country that is rich in diversity in terms of culture, race, ethnicity, language, customs and religion. On the one hand, this condition could be a source of cultural wealth. On the other hand, this has the potential to lead to social conflict, particularly religious issues that could threaten Indonesia's integrity if it is not realized and cannot be managed properly. Therefore, good tolerance is needed to address these differences so that life harmony can be maintained. One of the manuscripts that contains tolerance is the Carub Kandha Carang Satus manuscript. This manuscript originally came from Cirebon in 1845. This manuscript uses the Pegon script (Javanese Arabic) and Cirebon Javanese language. Since this text has found more than one, it uses the plural method, namely the basis method. This research can inspire to revive tolerance, respect, and appreciate differences.

Abstract

Character Building Education (PPK) was born with the background of many juvenile delinquency, moral degeneration, the entry of radicalism that endangers the Republic of Indonesia and the decline in the sense of nationality and noble character in adolescents. However, the results of implementing KDP have not looked significant. Therefore, researchers are trying to uncover why this can happen and then provide a solution by creating a KDP model which is expected to be the best way to solve this problem. The KDP model that we designed was BITAUATI (guiding, monitoring and managing). To analyze the research, first the researcher used documentation data from books, newspapers, the internet and sources. To design the KDP model, the researchers used the Grounded method. Meanwhile, to analyze how the implementation of conventional KDP so far, how to implement the KDP Bitau'ati model and the results of its implementation, the researchers used the R and D method. the heart of the students so that they happily put it into practice. Basic skills training makes them ready to face the academic world, the world of work, the world of entrepreneurship. The student's delinquency rate decreased sharply, the students became more orderly and disciplined, with their awareness of maintaining order, tidiness, cleanliness and beauty.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there is the use of realia in class VIII SMP students. This research was conducted using experimental research and handled a quasi experimental design. The population of this study were students of class VIII SMP N 15 Cirebon. Researchers took samples from class VIII A as an experimental class consisting of 33 students and VIII B as a control class consisting of 33 students. The experimental class was taught using realia media in descriptive text and the control class was taught using conventional strategies (without using realia media). Data analysis was calculated statistically with SPSS 20. The results showed that t count> -t table or -11.455 and df (degrees of freedom) N-1 = 32 at the 0.05 degree of significance, the t-table was 2.037. So t-count> t-table - 11.455> 2.037 then t-count is higher than t-table. So H0 (null) is rejected. Then Ha (alternative) is accepted. So, the researchers found that the use of realia media for students' writing skills in descriptive text for class VIII at SMP N 15 Cirebon was effective after the researcher conducted research in the 2018/2019 academic year. It appears that students' writing has a significant influence on the use of realia media.
