Abstract

This paper would like to see the government responds to the military threats that facing Indonesia from its strategic environment, through its defense budget policy. Single equation, formed to capture the military threats to national defense budget. The model developed are from Smith Military Demand Model. The estimation result is that the level of threat have influence on the defense budget. Indonesia must remain vigilant, because of the military rising of other countries. The strategic environment situation can be suddenly rise the escalation of threat.Keywords: International Economics, Defense Economics, Military Threats, Defense Budget.

Abstract

Human resouce is considered as the key element in supporting organizational’s objectives. Hence maintaining the employees to stay loyal with organization and to always willingly give their best is definitely a homework which organization should do at their utmost. How to mitigate the turnover intention by building a working environment to maintain the talented employees and to put the incapable ones into the turnover circle can ultimately smoothen the way into the set objectives. The ultimate purpose of this research is to know working environment in PT XYZ and how working environment relates with employee’s turnover intention. The used methods are descriptive analysis and correlation of rank spearman by SPSS software version 20. The result shows a negative yet weak relation between working environment and turnover intention for Finance employees at PT XYZ (coefficient correlation is –0,071). The relation itself is not significant, because the significant level is 0,074 (way more than 0,05).Keywords: Human Resource, Turnover, Intention, Turnover Intention, Working Environment

Abstract

This research aims is to determine the effect of good corporate governance (GCG) as measured by the commissioners (meeting activity), the board of directors, independent board and audit committee on the financial performance of banks as measured by return on assets (ROA). Data are obtained from secondary data in the form of annual reports and company GCG Report for the period 2012-2015 contained in www.idx.co.id. Sampling using purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate simultaneous testing with a significance level of 0.030 <0.05 states that the board of commissioners (meeting activity), the board of directors, independent board and audit committee have a significant effect on the financial performance listed on the Stock Exchange. Partially board of directors and have significant influence with a significant level of thitung 2.027> 1.98 ttabel. Commissioners (meeting activity) does not affect the level of singnifikan of the t (1.176) <t table (1.98) on financial performance. Independent board does not affect the show singnifikan level of thitung (-0.567) <t table (1.98) on financial performance. The audit committee does not affect the show singnifikan level of the t (1.580) <t table (1.98) on financial performance. In improving the financial performance, the company should use four variables of good corporate governance (GCG) in order to synergize in implementing policies that have been defined.Keywords: Board of Commissioners (meeting activity), the board of director, independent board and audit committee

Abstract

Human resources (HR) is the central figure in an organization or company. In order for management activity goes well, the company should have employees who are knowledgeable and high berketerampilan as well as the effort to manage the company seoptimal possible so performance increases. The success of the organization can be achieved if employees are able to create a good working achievements are supported by the leadership style of superiors and the motivation is given. Within each activity must have a purpose, as for the purpose of this research is to know the relationship of leadership styles with the achievements of the work of employees. To find out the relationship with the work achievement motivation of employees. The research is descriptive-quantitative sample with as many as 30 employees and data analysis with SPSS analysis of Rank Spearman and T Test manually or statistical formulas. The results of this study suggest that (1) based on the results of the calculation obtained value t calculate of 3.241 and t table of 2.048 or t t > count table (3.241 > 2.048) so the then Ho is rejected and accepted which means there is Ha relationships significantly between leadership styles with the accomplishment of work. (2) calculation of the obtained results based on the value t calculate registration (5,267) greater than t table (2.048), Ho is rejected and accepted which means there is Ha relationship was significant between achievement motivation.Keyword: leadership styles, motivation, work achievement..

Abstract

Traditionally, external threat comes from the asymmetrical military power among countries, where the concept has now evolved into a natural balance of power. In this paper, the analysis of natural balance of power will be done through a literature review. Today, modern threats are always connected to the military force that is proportional to economy of a country. The level of militarization, which is too high and out of proportion with the ability of economies, perceived as a threat to countries in the vicinity. Instead strength in the economy with healthy competition is expected as a national power. Who owns the defense along with the strong economy was the one who could control the international relations in the strategic environment.Keywords : economic of defence, natural balance of power, strategic environment

Abstract

Traffic discovery is an identification process of software and traffic which passes wide area network (WAN) link. In one analyzing process, traffic discovery could identify 10 most active application in bandwidth usage, average bit use per second, and total percentage of bandwidth usage from each application. A study showed traffic network pattern and mirrored bandwidth usage pattern will change in future orderly. Network assessment report encourages traffic pattern. The key is web traffic Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), If there is an application is considered important traffic, it should become priority. Various non business applications which in network should be limited or time controlled. Abstract

This study aims to describe the impact of the application of financial technology to conventional banking institutions in Indonesia in terms of regulators and banks that are adaptation. The data used comes from primary data through direct research into Wisma Mulia Building-Office of Financial Services Authority and through interviews, as well as secondary data through internet media. The methodology used by the authors is with qualitative analysis techniques. The results of the research, sorted by the researchers into three points, namely: innovation disruption, fintech regulation and fintech to banking in Indonesia. The conclusion can be drawn from the research that disruption innovation that occurred in the financial sector with the emergence of fintech is not a phenomenon that must be feared and shunned but is a phenomenon that must be embraced to improve economic growth and prosperity. OJK as an institution that oversees the financial sector strongly supports the presence of fintech by issuing POJK regulation No. 77 / POJK.01 / 2016. For Bank Mandiri and BTPN, fintech can not be considered an ordinary phenomenon but the two banks are taking action to collaborate with fintech actors.Keywords: disruptive innovation, financial sector, conventional banking institutions, financial technology.

Abstract

There is not a general theory capable of explaining how the defense budget should be formulated. However, through the theory of economic behavior, estimation can be performed. The defense budget is generally a complex tug of war between the political, economic, social, military, and technology. This study is a qualitative research by reviewing a variety of literature dealing with the problem of motivation of state defense budget. Despite many obstacles, the estimate remains to be done, due to the projected budget in the long term, is an important instrument for a wide range of organizations plan to set goals and overcome the various problems that exist now and in the future. It also estimates the military budget is essential for economic operators, the parties concerned with all economic activity because the rise and fall of the military budget in general have an impact on the economy.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to know whether there were influence corporate social responsibility (CSR) and capital intensity of tax aggressiveness company. Independent variable used in research is disclosure of corporate social responsibility and capital intensity, while dependent variable the research is aggressiveness tax. The data used funded by primary data company to a period of five years from 2011 up to 2015. The methodology used writer is the kind of research causal, to know relations independent variable and dependent variable. The hypothesis used is H0 :βi = 0 (no influence between CSR and capital intensity to aggressiveness taxes). HA : βi ≠ 0 (Is influence between CSR and capital intensity to aggressiveness taxes). Significant level of used 0.05 if the value of the significance of smaller than 5 percent free Independent variable significant on dependent variables. This research result indicates that CSR and capital intensity simultaneously not affect significantly to aggressiveness tax .Keywords: CSR, capital intensity, aggressiveness tax.

Abstract

The research was carried out in PT. Inasa Lafacos to know the relationship of quality of service and trust of customer loyalty on all parts of the consumer at PT. Inasa Lafacos. As for the purpose of this research is to know the relation of quality service to customer loyalty, loyalty towards the trust relationship customers in all parts of the consumer at PT. Lafacos Inasa. The research is descriptive-correlation with sample as much as 97 of the consumer and the data were analyzed using analysis of Rank Spearman. The results of this study suggest that (1) there is a significant relationship between the quality of service of customer loyalty on the whole consumer PT. Inasa Lafacos. This is attempted with the obtained t hitung (27.809) greater than t tabel (1,985). (2) There is a significant relationship between confidence in the loyalty of customers in all parts of the consumers of PT. Inasa Lafacos. This is attempted with the obtained t hitung (13.105) greater than t tabel (1,985). Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the overall quality of service and trust have better relationship towards customer loyalty, then the company should further increase as do concern employees against customers, employees can meet consumer complaints properly and also employees can serve consumers well. Need for improved performance of employees at PT. Inasa Lafacos by providing training (Traning) so that employees can improve or master the skills and techniques against the implementation of a particular work. PT. Inasa Lafacos need to do a survey to consumers by way of providing a questionnaire or interview is directly related to the perceived satisfaction of consumers.
