Abstract

Az-Zarnuji proposes four considerations of strengthening the right intentionin looking for science. First, looking for a science is regarded as the religion task; second, looking for a science must be intended as an effort of getting happiness of life in the future; third, in looking for a science, it is properly awaken again to the Islamic teaching and religion; fourth, looking for a science is supposed to the frame of conveying the thanksgiving to Allah. The characteristic of Az-Zarnuji epistemology says that looking for a science is the religion task. It shows that Az-Zarnuji epistemology becomes Islamic epistemology, standard and traditional with idealistic type. It is a idealism containing many things, integration between organic and thinkingcomprehensively (reality, form) or absolutism consisting of the meaning as 1) view of life, the truth must be valuable, reality, final and forever objective. 2) There is only one belief and one explanation objectively, no change and right to the reality. The religion epistemology of Az-Zarnuji stresses on the characteristics of God, society and individuality with epistemology of principality based on utility principle. The implementation of science system is for thecase of the three characteristics above. The stress goes to the quality or religion ethicvalues. The concept of Az-Zarnuji epistemology is ideological focusing on value and the Islamic religion (theology) or faith epistemology.Key Words: epistemology; Islamic education;science; religion ethic.Az-Zarnuji menawarkan empat pertimbangan yang memperteguh niat yangbenar dalam mencari ilmu pengetahuan. Pertama, menuntut ilmu dianggap sebagaitugas agama; kedua, menuntut ilmu seharusnya dimaksudkan usaha memperolehkebahagiaan hidup di kemudian hari; ketiga, dalam menututi lmu, seyogyanyamembangkitkan kembali agama dan syiar Islam; Keempat, menuntut ilmu ditujukandalam rangka menyampaikan puji syukur kepada Tuhan. Ciri khas epistemologi Az-Zarnuji, epistemologi agama, menuntut ilmu tugas agama, ini menjadikan epistemologiAz-Zarnuji merupakan epistemologi Islam, baku dan kuna (Tradisional) bertipe idealistik.Idealistik adalah pandangan ideal (idealism) atau mencakup segala sesuatu, kepaduanpikiran dan organik saling terkait bersifat sempurna (realitas, wujud) atau Absolutisme,mencakup makna sebagai 1).Pandangan bahwa kebenaran (nilai, realitas) nyata, finaldan abadi secara obyektif. 2) Keyakinan hanya ada satu penjelasan obyektif tak berubahdan benar tentang realitas. Epistemologi religious (agama) Az-Zarnuji menekankanpada ciri Ketuhanan, individualitasdan masyarakat, dengan azas epistemologi yangmendasarinya azas manfaat (utility). Pelaksanaan sistem ilmu pengetahuan dalamrangka ketiga ciri tersebut. Penekanan pada kualitas atau pada nilai etika religious.Konsep epistemologi Az-Zarnuji bersifat ideologis, bertumpu pada nilai dan ajaran(teologi) Islam atau epistemologi iman (ketauhidan).Kata Kunci: epistemology; pendidikan Islam; ilmu Pengetahuan; etika Religius.

Abstract

Actually in quoting of ijma’ (consensus), it is in desperate need to study andresearch its validity. The consensus often solves many disagreed reasons. Because it’s appointreasoning is stronger and more accurate than Al Quran and Al Hadith but unfortunately,ijma’ has little attention in the study and test. The Ummah need to know the truth of quotingijma and it is not wise to leave the matter floating in uncertainty. This is the role of thescholars and researchers, wherein they can restore the understanding of kholaf generation tothe understanding of the salaf generation as well as move the attention of the people towardsthe scholars dispute to their agreement. This study uses the deductive method, that discussesthe problem from its roots, rules and their application in the book Naylul Author, and theinductive method which concludes many opinions in various matters. Including theimportant result of this study is that Imam Syawkany insists consensus in the book ofThaharah and Salah as many as forty three problems, thirty seven of them are proven validbut six of them are proven invalid.Keywords : ijma; thaharah; salaf.Sesungguhnya penukilan ijma (konsensus ulama) sangat membutuhkan studi danpenelitian akan validitasnya. Sebab Ijma seringkali menyelesaikan banyak ikhtilaf. Dankarena dilalah (penunjukannya) yang lebih kuat dan jelas dibandingkan Al Quran dan AlHadits, namun disayangkan sedikit sekali perhatian dalam mempelajari dan menelitinya.Umat sangat membutuhkan untuk mengetahui keabsahan penukilan ijma dan tidaksepatutnya masalah ini dibiarkan menggantung tanpa kejelasan. Di sinilah peran para ulamadan peneliti, di mana mereka dapat mengembalikan pemahaman generasi kholaf kepadapemahaman generasi salaf sekaligus memindahkan perhatian umat dari perselisihan ulamamenuju kesepakatan mereka. Studi ini menggunakan metode deduktif Kaify Ta’shilyIstiqra’iy, yang membahas permasalahan ijma dari akarnya, kaidah serta aplikasinya dalamkitab Naylul Author, serta menggunakan metode induktif yang menyimpulkan banyakpendapat fuqoha dalam berbagai masalah tersebut. Termasuk hal penting yang berhasildidapatkan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa Imam Syaukany menghikayatkan ijma dalamkitab Thaharah dan Sholat sebanyak empat puluh tiga masalah. Tigapuluh tujuh diantaranyaterbukti valid, namun enam masalah terbukti tidak valid.Kata kunci: ijma; thaharah; salaf.

Abstract

The lyrics and album cover of Dewa 19 wave of criticism with many symbols or emblemsthat allegedly represent the ancient mystical beliefs and visually turns almost identicalto the symbols on the Thesofi anf Freemason. It lead to the possibility of meaning similarity.Four main points discussed in this study is about the meaning of the lyrics of the album’ssongs of Dewa 19 band, regarding the visual appearance and meaning of symbols in the coverof the album of Dewa 19, reviewing the structure of the relationship between the lyrics and thesymbols in the album of Dewa 19 with Theosofi and Freemason, as well as explain the impactof visualization and dissemination of these symbols in a album of Dewa 19 cassette. Dewa 19has consistently display the lyrics of songs and symbols of Theosofi and Freemasonry teachingsstarted from his first album. Symbols are cleverly laid out in various ways and can onlybe seen with certain ways. The pattern of symbols has a characteristic appearance as well asits own theme. The structure of relations that are drawn in this study relates to the profile ofAhmad Dhani, Theosofi and Freemason teachings, text and lyrics, as well as a visual displayof Theosofi and Freemasons symbols in Dewa 19 album. Display representations of symbolscontained in the album cover of Dewa 19 concluded have relevance in form and meaning tothe symbols of the teachings or understood Occult, Paganism, Kaballah and Theosofi, as wellas movements such as secret Zionist, Illuminati and Freemasonry.Keywords: symbol; theosofi; freemason.Abstrak: Lirik dan sampul album Dewa 19 menuai banyak kritik dengan banyaknya simbolatau lambang yang diduga merepresentasikan kepercayaan mistik kuno dan secara visualternyata nyaris identik dengan simbol-simbol pada Theosofi dan Freemason.Hal tersebutmengarahkan pada adanya kemungkinan kesamaan makna. Empat hal utama yang dibahasdalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai makna dari lirik lagu album grup musik Dewa 19, mengenaitampilan visual dan makna simbol dalam sampul album Dewa 19, mengkaji strukturrelasi antara lirik lagu dan simbol dalam album Dewa 19 dengan Theosofi dan Freemason,serta menjelaskan dampak dari visualisasi dan penyebaran simbol-simbol tersebut dalam kasetalbum Dewa 19. Dewa 19 secara konsisten telah menampilkan lirik lagu dan simbol-simbolajaran Theosofi dan Freemason dari mulai album pertamanya. Simbol secara cerdik diletakkandengan berbagai cara dan hanya bisa dilihat dengan cara-cara tertentu. Pola pemunculan simbolmemiliki ciri serta tema tersendiri. Struktur relasi yang ditarik dalam penelitian ini berkaitandengan profil Ahmad Dhani, ajaran Theosofi dan Freemason, teks dan lirik lagu, sertatampilan visual simbol-simbol Theosofi dan Freemason dalam album Dewa 19. Representasitampilan simbol yang terdapat dalam sampul album Dewa 19 disimpulkan memiliki keterkaitansecara bentuk dan makna dengan simbol-simbol dari ajaran atau paham Okultisme,Paganisme, Kaballah serta Theosofi, serta pergerakan-pergerakan rahasia Zionisme Yahudi seperti, Illuminati dan Freemasonry.Kata kunci: symbol; theosofi; freemason.

Abstract

This paper discusses about the expansion of the MTA, as a puritan movement,in the countryside, with a sociological approach and a theory about the characteristicsof the purification. MTA is a purification movement, based on the Jama’ah and Imamateteachings. The implementation of the Imamate doctrine makes all followers of thepeasants, workers, and employees very obedient to a single leader. Their following iscaused by internal and external factors. The internal factors include the expertise of themissionary actors in dialogic preaching, the application of Imamate teaching, and socialsolidarity and brotherhood among the followers. The external factors included the moreopening chances for the Islamic missionary movements as the implications ofdemocratization. The relationship pattern between the elite and the followers is moreinfluenced by the charisma of the leader or authority positioned as an Imam to befollowed. The most prominent follower development pattern is that of sermons, whichcover general, branch, group (usrah), and special group sermons.Key words: Islamic puritanism, rural areas, Majlis Tafsir Al-Quran (MTA)Makalah ini membahas perkembangan Majlis Tafsir Al-Quran (MTA)sebagaigerakan puritan di pedesaan, dengan pendekatan sosiologis dan teori tentangkarakteristik gerakan purifikasi. MTA merupakan gerakan purifikasi yang berbasispada ajaran jamaah dan imamah. Pengikut dari kalangan petani, buruh, dan pegawaisangat taat kepada pemimpin tunggal. Kepengikutan mereka disebabkan faktor internaldan eksternal. Faktor internal meliputi kepiawaian aktor dalam berdakwah secaradialogis, penerapan ajaran imamah, dan ukhuwah atau solidaritas sosial antarpengikut.Faktor eksternal meliputi semakin terbukanya gerakan dakwah Islam sebagai implikasidari demokratisasi. Pola hubungan pengikut dan elite lebih dipengaruhi oleh kharismaatau kewibawaan pemimpin diposisikan sebagai imam yang wajib diikuti. Polapembinaan warga yang paling utama adalah melalui pengajian, yaitu pengajian umum,pengajian cabang, pengajian kelompok (usrah), pengajian gelombang khususi.Kata kunci: Islam puritan, pedesaan, Majlis Tafsir Al-Quran

Abstract

Since established, Universal Declaracion of Human Rights (UDHR) upheldas a global value by all the countries in the world. UDHR through the UN as a referenceas a common standard for measuring the level of success of a country in upholdinghuman rights. How this study focus on the implications of the secular epistemologyagainst the substance of the Universal Declaration Of Human Rights? and How doesIslam look at epistemology Universal Declaration Of Human Rights? To answer thesequestions used the data of literature with a philosophical approach as research methodsand using several analytical tools such as interpretation, induction and deduction,internal coherence, holistika and description. Results from this study indicate that thesecular epistemology epistemology UDHR as the foundation material implicationsfor cargo. Substance of the UDHR can be translated very freely and without limitvalues mengabaiakan even religiosity. Humans are considered as central, source anddestination at the same time the fi nal orientation of each human behavior. Religionand God are not regarded as something sacred, but only considered as a complement tohuman life into the realm of free privatization adopted or not by each individual. Such aview is contrary to Islam. Islam holds that religion and God is something that is sacredand can not be separated from every facet of human life. Abstract

Lately religious life in Indonesia experienced a fairly loud dynamics with theemergence of many cases of religious radicalism background. This has resulted in lossof lives wasted and physical damage to the building. But more horrible is the breakdownof social relations between the nation and the erosion of social capital of trust betweenone another. Though the government has taken various measures such as theestablishment of BNPT, Detachment 88 anti-terror legislation and government regulationon the prohibition of blasphemy/desecration of religion. However, this step does notreduce the percentage of religious radicalism. Even more days of religious radicalismincreasingly fertile. Pesantren Imam Syuhodo Sukoharjo Central Java have developedand internalized models of religious education curriculum-based multicultural inclusivismin order to counteract the movement of religious radicalism. The curriculum is a set ofvalues that are as straight as implemented by students, such as living together,understand each other differentness, diversity of teaching. The students are taught to live in peace, side by side with each other, in the middle of the variance differences exist between them. In addition, the value Uswah Khasanah (good role models) from Kyai and the Ustadz/Theacer of the main pillars in the internalization efforts multiculturalinclusivism values in Ponpes Imam Syuhodo Sukoharjo.Keywords: deradicalised of religion; pesantren; multicultural-inclusiv.Akhir-akhir ini kehidupan beragama di Indonesia sangat dinamis denganmunculnya berbagai kasus yang berlatar belakang radikalisme keagamaan. Radikalismekeagamaan telah mengakibatkan ribuan nyawa melayang dan kerusakan fisik yangluarbiasa. Tetapi yang lebih mengerikan adalah jalinan hubungan dan kepercayaanantarwarga sebagai modal social mengalami erosi yang cukup dalam. Pemerintah telahmengambil berbagai langkah seperti pembentukan BNPT, Densus 88, undang-undanganti-teror dan peraturan pemerintah tentang larangan penghujatan / penodaan agama.Namun, langkah ini tidak mengurangi persentase radikalisme agama. Semakin lamaradikalisme agama semakin subur. Pesantren Imam Syuhodo Sukoharjo Jawa Tengahtelah mengembangkan dan menginternalisasikan model kurukulum agama berbasisinklusivisme multikultural untuk menangkal gerakan radikalisme agama. Kurikulummerupakan seperangkat nilai-nilai yang disusun dan diterapkan oleh siswa, sepertihidup bersama, saling memahami keperbedaan satu dengan yang lain, dan keragamanmengajar. Para siswa diajarkan untuk hidup dalam damai, berdampingan satu samalain, di tengah-tengah ragam perbedaan diantara mereka. Selain itu, nilai UswahKhasanah (teladan yang baik) dari Kyai dan Ustadz menjadi pilar utama dalam upayainternalisasi nilai-nilai multikultural-inklusivisme di Ponpes Imam Syuhodo Sukoharjo.Kata kunci: deradikalisasi agama; pesantren; multikultural-inklusif.

Abstract

This paper discusses the problem regarding to the integrative knowledgeconcept at the four Islamic higher education —namely the State Islamic University,(UIN Sunan Kalijaga) Yogyakarta, the Indonesia Islamic University (UII) Yogyakarta,the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS), and the Wahid Hasyim Universityof Semarang (UNWAHAS). This is a field research study with using the snow balltechnique and the focus of discussion group for interview toward the primary resourcepersons, and using the crucial documents from the subjects elected with using the eclecticdata analyzes. This study uses a history-phenomenology perspective.The result of study toward the four universities put into practice in difference conceptfor each universities regarding to the new form on the relation of modern sciences andIslam as an effort completely building of Islamic sciences. The Sate Islamic University,Sunan Kalijaga, Yogyakarta follows the concept of integrative-interconnected knowledgewith combining the Islamic Knowledge Wealth, hadlarah al-nash, hadharah alfalsafah,and hadlarah al-’ilm. UII gave their lectures on having free choice to theconcept of Islamization of Knowledge, Scientification of Islam, and/or Integrative-Interconnected Knowledge. UII also takes the developing model on the concept of IslamicUniversity. UMS is more closely with the concept of interconnective knowledge withstrongly promoting to the Islamic economy, the professional medical doctor, the newruling elite in politics, and other sector in the life. UNWAHAS has not use an integrativeinterconnectedconcept but promoting the values of Islam (ruh) to appreciate the choiceof knowledge paradigm between scientification of Islam and integrativeinterconnectedknowledge.Key words: modern sciences; Islam; integrative knowledge.Makalah ini membahas konsep integrasi keilmuan di empat perguruan tinggiIslam, yaitu Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Kalijaga, Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII)Yogyakarta dan Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) Surakarta danUniversitas Wahid Hasyim (UNWAHAS) Semarang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitianlapangan, data dikumpulkan dengan metode wawancara, focus group discussion, dandokumentasi dengan analisis data mengedepankan analisis eklektik. Pendekatan yangdigunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah historis-fenomenologis. Hasil penelitian tentang Perdebatan tentang hubungan agamadan sains akhir-akhir ini menarik didiskusikan,karena terdapat beragam pendapattipologi hubungan keduanya.1Di antara tipologiitu yang sering menjadi sorotan ialahmasalah integrasi ilmu dan agama.Isu bertambahmenarik karena, pertama, pandangantentang kapan agama memberi spiritdalam pengembangan sains dan bagaimanakeduanya (sains dan agama) berjumpa.2 Kedua,dalam ranah kelembagaan pendidikandi Indonesia, isu itu menjadi lebih kompleksketika terjadi perluasan mandat wilayahkeilmuan IAIN. Semula IAIN hanya mengelolaprogam studi mayoritas ilmu-ilmuagama bertransformasi menjadi UIN yangmengelola beragam program studi, tambahanprogram studi itu di antaranya ialahprogam studi ilmu–ilmu sosial-humaniora,progam studi sains dan teknologi.Mulai tahun 2002-2004 tiga IAIN diIndonesia menjadi Universitas Islam Negeri:(1) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta,(2) UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, (3)UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim, Malang.3Transformasi dari IAIN ke UIN menandakandimulainya gagasan integrasi sainsIslam dengan sains sekuler, dalam Univerkonsepkeilmuan ini adalah bahwa format baru hubungan sains dan Islam dalam upayamembangun sains Islam seutuhnya di perguruan tinggi berbeda-beda dan memilikidistingsi masing-masing. Di UIN Sunan Kalijaga menganut paradigma integrasiinrerkoneksikeilmuan dengan merajut trilogi khazanah keilmuan hadlarah al-nash,hadharah al-falsafah, dan hadlarah al-’ilm. UII memberikan kebebasan kepada tenagapengajarnya mengambil pilihan paradigma keilmuan bisa islamization of knowledge,scientification of Islam, integration-interconnection). UMS lebih dekat pada konsepinterkoneksi dengan penekanan kuat kearah ekonomi Islam, tenaga medis kesehatan “dokterprofesional, membangun elit baru di dunia politik dan sektor-sektor yang lain. Unwahastidak menggunakan konsep integrasi-interkoneksi tetapi mengedepankan ruh Islam untukmengapresiasi pilihan paradigma keilmuan antara scientifation of Islam dan integrationinterconnetion.Keunikan konsep dasar keilmuan Unwahas adalah lahir atas pemikirandan prakarsa para ulama, intelektual, dan pengurus Jam’iyyah Nahdlatul ‘Ulama,diantaranya adalah menggunakan sistem pesantrenisasi tahfidul quran.Kata Kunci: sains modern; Islam; integrasi keilmuan.

Abstract

The presence of Act No. 1 of 2013 on Micro Finance Institutions, have given riseto legal problems for Cooperative of Syariah Micro Finance, because the cooperatives governedby two kinds of regulation, namely cooperative legislation and regulation of microfinance institutions(MFIs). Dualism of laws has given rise to overlapping regulation, supervision andoversight by the relevant agencies, as well as the contradictions settings between one to another.The legal problems required solutions through reformulation of laws of the Syariah MFI’s.Keywords: reformulation of law; cooperatives; syariah micro financeAbstrak: Kehadiran Undang Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 2013 tentang Lembaga KeuanganMikro, telah memunculkan problem hukum bagi lembaga keuangan mikro syariah yang berbadanhukum Koperasi, karena LKM ini diatur oleh dua macam regulasi, yaitu peraturanperundangan perkoperasian dan peraturan Lembaga Keuangan Mikro (LKM). Adanya dualismeperaturan hukum ini telah menimbulkan tumpang-tindih pengaturan, pengawasandan pembinaan oleh instansi terkait, serta adanya kontradiksi-kontradiksi pengaturannya diantara satu dengan lainnya. The use of the Deoxyribo Nucleic Acid (DNA) in the human embryo cloningis definitely a great invention of the centuries, yet the impact of its utilization bringsmore complicated problems. It is because the DNA can be taken from desired persons.It surely will lead to the problematical issues due to future offspring pedigree. It will behard to find out whose kids these cloning babies?
