Abstract

The purpose of this study is to help predicting the recipients of home improvement based on the optimized criterias. The classification method is using naïve bayes method. Naïve Bayes classification is one of data mining classification technique that can predict future probabilities based on past experience. But, naïve bayes method has a disadvantage that the independence characteristics of Naïve Bayes feature can not always be applied so it will affect the accuracy. Due to the independence characteristics, Naïve Bayes classification method needs to be optimized by feature selection technique. Genetic algorithm are one of the most commonly used methods of feature selection techniques. The results achieved is Naïve Bayes Method can be applied to determine the recipients of home improvement, which seeks the greatest opportunity or alternative probability by exploiting the conditional probability of each criterion that has been optimized. This can be used as consideration, reference, and facilitate in determining the community welfare and the program rolled right on target.

Abstract

Abstract

The development of development in urban areas will also have an impact on the land cover area. Efforts that can be made to determine urban development are by looking at land cover information through land cover maps. Land cover data can provide information in studying climate change and understanding the relationship between human activities and climate change. The method used is descriptive with interpretation of Landsat 8 imagery, using a Geographic Information System (GIS). Normalized Diffrence Vegetation Index (NDVI) is a calculation on an image that is used to determine the level of greenery as the initial division of vegetation and land cover areas. Klungkung Regency in the last five years continues to experience changes. The area of paddy fields in Klungkung Regency in the past five years tends to decrease. In 2013 the area of paddy fields was 3,843 Ha, reduced to 3,779 Ha in 2017. Based on the results of Landsat 8 satellite imagery, from 2016 to 2021 there was a decrease in the area of vegetation density by 35.11 km2 or 11.39% while the area of residential land cover increased by 29.98 km2 or 9.73%.

Abstract

Abstract— Bali is one of the provinces with quite complex cultural diversity in Indonesia. One of them is the characterization of traditional masks. Traditional masks in Balinese tradition are not only intended as performance accessories, but also as symbols of characterization, social status in indigenous communities, rites, and certain primordial activities. Every detail in the curve of the carving on the Balinese mask indicates an aesthetic richness that is certainly measurable as an ontological entity. In this case, the magnitude of this aesthetic measurability can be assisted by using various computational methods. This study tries to create a machine learning model with supervised learning to create a classification system for Balinese mask characterization. The methods used include: processing mask images into a 3-dimensional vector, each representing the red, green and blue color indices. Then each vector will go through a training process to create a measurability model for each characterization. The models used are EfficientNetV2 and Xception which are developments of convolutional models. The performance measurement metrics used are Accuracy, Precision, Recall & F1-Score. The Xception model produced an accuracy of 97%, while the EfficientNetV2 model produced an accuracy of 99%. Keywords— Bali, Classification, EfficientNetV2, Mask, Xception

Abstract

The rapid urbanization and tourism growth in Denpasar City, Bali, have led to increasing waste management challenges. Currently, only 22% of the daily 850 tons of waste is managed at the source, with the rest transported to landfills. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of Waste-to-Energy (WES) incineration systems as a potential solution to both waste disposal and energy production. The research uses a quantitative method involving primary data collection through interviews and secondary data from existing documentation. Three incinerator designs were analyzed based on parameters like energy efficiency, emissions, and environmental impact. The results show that the third incinerator system delivers the highest power output at 445.67 KW, although it also produces moderate pollutant emissions. The second design system, however, strikes a better balance, offering both lower emissions and effective power generation, making it the most environmentally favorable option. The study contributes to the growing body of research on WES technology, highlighting the need for advanced design optimization to minimize environmental impacts while maximizing energy output.

Abstract

Science literacy is a critical 21st-century competency, yet student achievement in this area presents significant challenges globally. This gap is exacerbated by conventional assessment methods that are misaligned with the learning characteristics of the digital-native Generation Z, who expect personalized, interactive, and instantaneous feedback. This study aims to analyze and synthesize the current research landscape on the application of AI-based adaptive assessment to map and enhance the science literacy skills of Generation Z. Employing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) guided by the PRISMA framework, this study identifies existing theoretical models, platforms, evidence of effectiveness, and implementation challenges. The findings indicate that AI-based adaptive assessment platforms, such as Inq-ITS and ALEKS, effectively measure various science sub-skills and improve learning outcomes. Key features including personalization, interactivity, and immediate feedback closely align with the preferences of Generation Z, thereby enhancing student motivation and engagement. Nevertheless, implementation faces significant challenges related to infrastructure, teachers' pedagogical readiness, and crucial ethical considerations, including data privacy and algorithmic bias. This study concludes that AI-adaptive assessment holds transformative potential, yet its effective and equitable adoption requires addressing existing challenges and future research gaps.
