Abstract

Rivers are one of the important water sources for life on earth. Both humans,animals and plants, all need water to maintain life. Rivers flow from upstream todownstream, moving from high places to low places. Microhydro, or MicrohydroPower Plant (PLTM), is a small-scale power plant that uses water power as itsdriving force, such as irrigation canals, rivers or natural waterfalls, by utilizing theheight of the waterfall (head) and the amount of water discharge. The Cianten Riverhas sufficient water potential throughout the year, reliable discharge, suitablecontours, and has been utilized for PLTM.Data collection techniques in this research include observation and data collectionin the field by observing and recording data on the area of each watershed and thearea of civil building planning. Several models used for hydrological analysis are theTank Model, FJ Mock Model, and Markov Lag 1 Model. Apart from that,researchers also carried out financial evaluations of Microhydro Power Plants(PLTM).The results obtained for the Cianten I PLTM scheme/layout include the dam andintake building, sand trap, waterway, headpond, penstock, powerhouse, and exhaustchannels (tailrace). The generation discharge that can be selected based on the plantfactor value is in the probability range of 35% - 55%. The Cianten I PLTM project isconsidered feasible to be realized if it is in a condition of normal value andincreasing benefits. Under normal conditions, financial analysis and sensitivityanalysis show the Project FIRR results are 9.88%, FIRR on Equity is 36.52%, NPVis IDR. 2,916,937,135, and a BCR of 1.03 with an investment payback period of10.87 years.

Abstract

Pengelolaan proyek merupakan terpenuhinya persyaratan mutu antara syarat, dan cara pelaksanaannya sesuai yang direncanakan. Untuk memenuhi persyaratan tersebut perlu adanya proses pelaksanaan konstruksi yang sesuai rencana. Sedangkan tercapainya mutu yang ditetapkan, maka diperlukan serangkaian kegiatan konstruksi mulai dari perencanaan, pengawasan, pemeriksaan, dan pengendalian mutu. Penerapan manajemen mutu dilakukan untuk menghasilkan produk konstruksi yang bermutu, memenuhi harapan pemilik proyek dan menjaga keunggulan bersaing dalam proyek kontruksi. Sehingga dalam pelaksanaan konstruksi untuk mencapai standar mutu diperlukan penggunaan suatu sistem manajemen mutu yang direncanakan untuk menghasilkan konstruksi yang sesuai dengan persyaratan dan yang direncanakan.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan manajemen mutu pada pembangunan gedung ITS Tower 3 di Surabaya. Batasan dalam penelitian ini hanya pada proses pembangunan khusus untuk struktur beton. dan analisis yang dilakukan dengan mengkaji metode pelaksanaan, survey lapangan, dan spesifikasi teknis yang direncanakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui manajemen mutu dalam pembangunan Gedung ITS Tower 3 Surabaya dan untuk menerapkan pekerjaan konstruksi khususnya pekerjaan struktur beton sesuai dengan standar mutu SNI.Hasil penelitian ini dengan menghasilkan manajemen mutu yang ditetapkan pada pada pekerjaan struktur beton pembangunan gedung ITS Tower 3 adalah sebagai berikut : Mutu beton fc 30 MPa, 33,2 MPa, 37,35 MPa dan 41,50 MPa atau setara  K-350, K 400, K-450, dan K-500, Baja Tulangan yang berstandart SNI,  Tulangan Ulir Mutu BJTD-40 (fy = 400 Mpa), dan Tulangan Polos Mutu BJTP-24 (fy = 240 Mpa).

Abstract

Semarang is one of the major cities in Indonesia with a population that continues to increase every year. The policy on urban density is not a transportation policy, but this policy has an impact, directly and indirectly, on the city's transportation system. The existence of public transportation facilities serving various urban areas is currently of poor quality, causing various impacts on the community. As a result, many people underutilize these modes and prefer to use private vehicles. The research method that will be used in this research is descriptive quantitative method with a rationalistic approach. The ratio used is a simple statistical method. The data used for the assessment of effectiveness and efficiency is seen from the ratio of Accessibility, Capacity, Punctuality, Ticket Prices, Organizational Characteristics, Environmental Characteristics, Worker Characteristics and Management Practices. The results of this study can be concluded that the pattern of movement of public transport users in the Penggaron-Kalibanteng route area of Semarang City (Trans Semarang Corridor 1) falls into the category of evenly accessible to public transport users easily and effectively by meeting all indicators of the effectiveness and efficiency of public transportation. The effectiveness level of the Penggaron-Kalibanteng route in Semarang City (Trans Semarang Corridor 1) has an average percentage value of 96.23% and is classified as very effective. Easy accessibility, bus capacity is in accordance with the number of passengers, and ticket prices are in accordance with the facilities. SPSS calculation of the effectiveness of public transportation services where what is considered effective is from the assessment characteristics of the elements of Capacity, Ticket prices, Organizational characteristics, Environmental characteristics, Worker characteristics and Management characteristics. Meanwhile, the efficiency level has an average percentage value of 94.50% (Vehicle Utility and Load Factor) which is classified as good and efficient. The results of the SPSS calculation of the efficiency of public transportation services where what is considered efficient consists of assessing accessibility, ticket prices, environmental characteristics and management characteristics.

Abstract

The inconsistency in the quality of paving blocks can result in uneven road surfaces, thereby increasing the risk of traffic accidents. This study aims to determine the compressive strength quality of Holland-type paving blocks from several producers in the city of Semarang, both those made manually and by machine, as well as to understand the reasons behind the dimensional inconsistencies of Holland-type paving blocks from various producers in the city. The research samples were taken from four paving block producers located in Semarang. The test results show that all paving block products from the four different producers meet or exceed the minimum compressive strength values set in SNI 03-0691-1998. This indicates that the products are theoretically capable of withstanding the applied compressive loads. The compressive strength test shows the lowest average value from producer AB at 17.21 MPa, while the highest average value was achieved by producer ADS at 19.3369 MPa. The dimensional inconsistencies of Holland-type paving blocks from several producers in Semarang can be attributed to various factors, including differences in production processes between producers, variations in the raw materials used, and differences in the settings of machines or production equipment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze road users' perceptions of pedestrian facilities in the Pemuda Corridor (Lawang Sewu – Mall Paragon), Semarang City. Variables such as safety, comfort, accessibility, and infrastructure quality are the focus of this research. Data were collected through questionnaires with a sample of 400 people, field observations, and interviews. Field study results indicate that despite many positive aspects of the current pedestrian pathways in the Pemuda Corridor, there are still deficiencies that need improvement. Certain areas require additional zebra crossings and traffic lights to enhance safety. Furthermore, cleanliness and maintenance of the sidewalks in some spots are still suboptimal. Accessibility for people with disabilities also needs enhancement, as there are still obstacles such as vehicles and vendors occupying the pedestrian paths. The physical condition of the pedestrian pathways is generally good, but some areas require upgrades. These findings imply the need for municipal government intervention to improve the safety, comfort, and accessibility of pedestrian pathways through the addition of safety facilities, stricter enforcement of regulations, and regular maintenance programs. Involving the local community in the planning and management process of pedestrian pathways is also recommended to identify problems more effectively and develop solutions that meet community needs. With these steps, it is expected that pedestrian facilities in the Pemuda Corridor and other areas in Semarang City can be improved to create a safer, more comfortable, and inclusive environment for all pedestrians.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe sloping land in Kampung Pelangi Semarang has unique characteristics, with gradients ranging from gentle to steep, posing challenges for creating residential areas that are safe from landslides.   This research aims to understand how housing forms adapt to occupy sloping land with gradients from gentle to steep in Kampung Pelangi. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach with samples consisting of residential buildings on the slopes of Kampung Pelangi. The findings of this research show that the spatial arrangement of housing in Kampung Pelangi adapts to the slope conditions, resulting in both wide and narrow flat spaces. The boundaries of the residential areas use retaining walls to enhance land stability and serve as the foundation for the outer walls of the buildings. There are private spaces such as terraces that are utilized as circulation paths between residences in Kampung Pelangi.Key words: Residential, sloping land, adaptation, structureABSTRAKLahan berlereng di Kampung Pelangi Semarang memiliki karakteristik  yang unik,   dengan kemiringan lahan dari landai sampai curam  akan menjadi tantangan menjadi area hunian, yang aman dari longsor.  Penelitian ini  bertujuan  untuk mengetahui bagaimana adaptasi bentuk hunian dalam menempati lahan lerengan dengan kemiringan yang landai sampai curam di Kampung Pelangi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian  ini menggunakan  pendekatan  kualitatif deskriptif dengan sampel adalah  bangunan hunian dilerengan Kampung Pelangi.  Temuan dari penelitian ini tata ruang hunian di Kampung Pelangi beradaptasi dengan kondisi lerengan sehingga ada yang memiliki ruang datar yang lebar maupun yang sempit. Batas lahan hunian menggunakan talud atau dinding penahan tanah dipakai untuk memperkuat stabilitas lahan sekaligus dipakai sebagai pondasi bangunan pada dinding luar bangunan. Terdapat ruang yang bersifat privat seperti teras dimanfaatkan sebagai jalur sirkulasi jalan antar hunian di Kampung Pelangi.Kata kunci: Hunian, adaptasi, lerengan, struktur

Abstract

The development of road infrastructure is a vital element in driving economic growth and improving the quality of urban life. In Semarang City, Jalan Gatot Subroto plays a crucial role as a major route connecting the north and south of the city, serving as a vital artery for inter-district mobility. However, in recent years, this road has faced serious challenges such as worsening traffic congestion, deteriorating road conditions, and their impacts on local social and economic activities. Therefore, efforts to enhance infrastructure on Jalan Gatot Subroto have become urgent given the complexity of these issues. This study aims to identify and determine variables that significantly influence the success of road improvement programs in the Gatot Subroto area of Semarang City. Data was collected using survey methods and deepened through interviews. The respondents involved in this study were 100 people with diverse backgrounds in terms of age and occupation. The collected data was then processed both quantitatively using SPSS and qualitatively to be used as a reference in answering research questions. Based on the analysis conducted, five variables are predicted to significantly affect the success of the road improvement project planned in the Gatot Subroto area of Semarang City: (1) User Satisfaction with a regression coefficient of 0.233, (2) Travel Time at 0.078, (3) Traffic Safety at 0.180, (4) Traffic Congestion at 0.163, (5) Accessibility at 0.551, and (6) Environmental Impact at 0.472. Referring to the field study results, it can be concluded that these variables have a significant relationship with the success rate of the Jalan Gatot Subroto improvement program in Semarang City, with important implications for more effective transportation infrastructure planning.

Abstract

Project management functions to oversee the process of implementing construction work from the start of the project until the end of the project. In this research, the strategy used is the project management optimization handling strategy which will dominantly influence the implementation of the Palir Kaliancar Road widening project for the 2022 Fiscal Year. The aim of this research is to find out the factors that cause delays in implementing the Palir Kaliancar road widening project not on time. using the SWOT method.To find out the SWOT indicators that most influence the success in implementing the Palir Kaliancar Road Widening project, Semarang City. This research uses the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) method to systematically identify various factors to formulate dominant project management optimization in the implementation of the Palir Kaliancar Road Widening project for the 2022 Fiscal Year. By conducting literature studies and research surveys, data collection includes data primary and secondary data then continued data processing. In the results of the IFE and EFE analysis of the components of the Palir Kaliancar Road Widening construction project in Ngaliyan, Semarang City, a value of Strength 4.24 Weakness 4.22 Opportunity 4.34 Threat 4.14 was obtained. For IFAS, you get a value of 0.01 from the Strength value minus the Weakness value, while the EFAS value gets a value of 0.1 from the Opportunity value minus the Threat value.From these results, you can determine the coordinates in the SWOT matrix quadrants. So the results of this combination show the coordinates of the SWOT quadrant matrix which is located in quadrant I, namely the strategy between the strength factor component (S) and the opportunity factor component (O). So the strategy developed for the Palir Kaliancar Road Widening Project component in Ngaliyan, Semarang City, uses a Progressive Strategy.
