Abstract

Flexible, rigid, and paving block pavements can be used as alternative roads because the soil conditions on the Pantai Utara Flores road are rocky soil with a relatively high CBR so that the most important role in withstand load is subgrade. The purpose of the Comparison of Construction and Costs for Flexible, Rigid, and Paving Block Pavement Structures on Jalan Pantai Utara Flores is to know which one most effective and efficient when viewed from the traffic load  with each  pavement using the Bina Marga method, AASHTO , and Direktorat Jendral Bina Marga. Jalan Pantai Utara Flores is access to Komodo Labuan Bajo airport which is a Class I road, rocky land with a relatively high CBR, rainfall of Labuan Bajo is relatively low, LHR in Labuan Bajo is relatively small, besides Labuan Bajo is a tourist area that should be supported  by road access that has driving comfort so the suitable pavement structure for Jalan Pantai Utara Flores is flexible pavement. Meanwhile, based on the recapitulation of the analysis results, the cost of flexible pavement is Rp. 28,793,604,705,600, the cost of a rigid pavement  is Rp. 34,218,430,585,828 and  the cost of paving block pavement  is Rp. 17,410,645,080,000 so it can be seen that the paving block pavement is most economical, but the paving block pavement structure has a very uncomfortable driving comfort besides that the paving block pavement structure cannot be passed by vehicles at high speed so that the paving block pavement structure is more suitable for controlling speed of vehicles such as roads in crowded urban areas and residential roads.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan Proyek Pembangunan Bendungan Bendo Lanjutan Kab Ponorogo Jawa Timur direncanakan selesai dalam 750 hari kalender, namun pelaksanaan proyek tersebut mengalami keterlambatan, yang dapat berdampak besar terhadap waktu dan biaya pada proyek tersebut. Karena itu diperlukan analisis metode percepatan dengan pengurangan durasi proyek agar dapat mengejar prestasi yang tertinggal. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis waktu dan biaya proyek jika dilakukan percepatan (crashing) dengan penambahan jam kerja lembur, menganalisis waktu dan biaya proyek jika dilakukan metode tumpang tindih (overlapping), menganalisis waktu dan biaya proyek jika dilakukan metode gabungan antara percepatan (crashing) dan tumpang tindih (overlapping), yang terakhir bertujuan untuk mengkaji waktu dan biaya yang paling optimal dengan menggunakan alternatif crashing, overlapping dan gabungan antara crashing overlapping. Data yang dibutuhkan yaitu data sekunder berupa data time schedule dan laporan mingguan proyek, rencana anggaran biaya proyek, jumlah tenaga kerja setiap item pekerjaan. Analisis dilakukan untuk mengetahui waktu dan biaya akibat percepatan dengan penambahan jam kerja (crashing), overlapping dan gabungan crashing overlapping, selanjutnya dicari perbandingan waktu dan biaya yang optimum dari tiga alternative tersebut. Dari hasil tiga perhitungan dapat disimpulkan bahwa waktu dan biaya akibat percepatan yang optimum adalah metode gabungan crashing dan overlapping dengan penambahan jam kerja (lembur) selama 3 jam serta mengubah relationship dan lag didapat pengurangan biaya sebesar Rp 5.854.374.553 dari total biaya pekerjaan normal yang jumlahnya sebesar Rp 287.227.881.577 menjadi Rp 281.373.507.024 atau turun 2,038 % dari total biaya pekerjaan normal dengan pengurangan durasi pekerjaan waktu selama 271 hari dari waktu normal 750 hari menjadi 479 hari.

Abstract

Paving blocks are considered advantageous over other road surfaces, and it is undeniable that paving blocks are an alternative road surface whose quality is still affected by water flooding. The objective of this study was to determine the effects of soaking time and age of paving blocks in terms of absorption, wear resistance, and compressive strength. The paving blocks used were manual (Holland) brick models obtained from Banyubiru and mechanical ones obtained from PT Pohon Cemara Semarang. The variations soaking times were 0, 12, 24, 36, 48 (hours) for 7, 14, 21, 28 (days) old pavers. The tests conducted were absorption, wear resistance, and compressive strength tests of paving blocks, carried out in the UNISSULA civil engineering laboratory. The results of absorption tests manual and machine paving block showed that value of the absorption test increased with increasing soaking time. The results of wear resistance of manual and machine pavers show that the untreated samples had a lower wear value and all test results met the requirements of SNI 03-0361-1996 Quality A. The maximum compressive strength of manual paving blocks at 28 days of age without treatment is 13.334 MPa. The maximum compressive strength of machine-made pavers is 25.297 MPa for paving blocks without immersion.

Abstract

The Old Town area of Semarang is a tourist area that will be projected as a pedestrian area. The first step starts with the Car Free Night policy. This policy was carried out by closing Jl. Letjen Suprapto as a pedestrian area. The purpose of this study is to determine the performance conditions of the intersections in the Old City Area. Data collection in this study used an intersection inventory survey method which included intersection geometry, speed, and vehicle volume. The analytical method uses the help of the PTV Vissim 2022 Student Version application. Based on PTV Vissim analysis for normal day intersection performance, it was found that the lowest intersection performance occurred at the Letjen Suprapto Intersection with service level F where there was a delay of 80 seconds/vehicle and a queue of 127 m long. During Car Free Night, the lowest intersection performance is shown by level of service D, delay of 38 seconds/vehicle, and queue of 57 m. this condition occurs at the Mpu Tantular Intersection. The Car Free Night policy has had a positive impact on the performance of the traffic flow network in the Old City of Semarang as indicated by the increased level of intersection service.

Abstract

The inconsistency in the quality of paving blocks can result in uneven road surfaces, thereby increasing the risk of traffic accidents. This study aims to determine the compressive strength quality of Holland-type paving blocks from several producers in the city of Semarang, both those made manually and by machine, as well as to understand the reasons behind the dimensional inconsistencies of Holland-type paving blocks from various producers in the city. The research samples were taken from four paving block producers located in Semarang. The test results show that all paving block products from the four different producers meet or exceed the minimum compressive strength values set in SNI 03-0691-1998. This indicates that the products are theoretically capable of withstanding the applied compressive loads. The compressive strength test shows the lowest average value from producer AB at 17.21 MPa, while the highest average value was achieved by producer ADS at 19.3369 MPa. The dimensional inconsistencies of Holland-type paving blocks from several producers in Semarang can be attributed to various factors, including differences in production processes between producers, variations in the raw materials used, and differences in the settings of machines or production equipment.

Abstract

Transportation is an important means to support the success of development and to facilitate economic activities in the community. Economic growth in Tegal Regency has resulted in increased mobility, which requires efforts to improve service quality and add effective transportation infrastructure. In order to improve transportation in Tegal Regency, the government has implemented a policy to relocate and build a representative Type C transport terminal with the aim of solving traffic problems in the Central Business District (CBD) area of Tegal Regency. Relocating the Type C transport terminal in Tegal Regency is necessary to improve the effectiveness of terminal relocation. Therefore, a study was conducted on the Optimization of Type C Terminal Relocation Utilization in Tegal Regency (Case Study: Dukuhsalam Village, Slawi District, Tegal Regency) using a quantitative descriptive research method to find out the effectiveness of terminal relocation. The analysis conducted includes technical analysis, economic analysis, traffic analysis, and environmental analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it was concluded that terminal relocation is considered effective. The technical analysis shows that the infrastructure and facilities of the new terminal are more complete compared to the revitalization of the old terminal. Economic analysis shows that the return on investment for the new terminal can be achieved 2 years faster compared to revitalizing the old terminal. Relocating the new terminal can reduce congestion costs by IDR 1,158,096.00 per day and reduce environmental damage costs by IDR 1,414,088.93. Therefore, optimizing the Type C terminal in Tegal Regency can be achieved by relocating it to a new location.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze road users' perceptions of pedestrian facilities in the Pemuda Corridor (Lawang Sewu – Mall Paragon), Semarang City. Variables such as safety, comfort, accessibility, and infrastructure quality are the focus of this research. Data were collected through questionnaires with a sample of 400 people, field observations, and interviews. Field study results indicate that despite many positive aspects of the current pedestrian pathways in the Pemuda Corridor, there are still deficiencies that need improvement. Certain areas require additional zebra crossings and traffic lights to enhance safety. Furthermore, cleanliness and maintenance of the sidewalks in some spots are still suboptimal. Accessibility for people with disabilities also needs enhancement, as there are still obstacles such as vehicles and vendors occupying the pedestrian paths. The physical condition of the pedestrian pathways is generally good, but some areas require upgrades. These findings imply the need for municipal government intervention to improve the safety, comfort, and accessibility of pedestrian pathways through the addition of safety facilities, stricter enforcement of regulations, and regular maintenance programs. Involving the local community in the planning and management process of pedestrian pathways is also recommended to identify problems more effectively and develop solutions that meet community needs. With these steps, it is expected that pedestrian facilities in the Pemuda Corridor and other areas in Semarang City can be improved to create a safer, more comfortable, and inclusive environment for all pedestrians.

Abstract

Ketersediaan angkutan sekolah yang layak dapat menjadi alternatif solusi bagi pemangku kepentingan untuk merubah perilaku pelajar yang saat ini banyak menggunakan kendaraan pribadi dalam melakukan perjalanan kesekolah. Kondisi ini dinilai tidak efisien, mengingat dampak yang ditimbulkan. Jaminan ketepatan waktu, kenyamanan, keselamatan, dan keamanan dalam perjalanan menggunakan moda transportasi angkutan sekolah menjadi parameter hasil kajian efektivitas angkutan sekolah di Kota Tegal. Hingga saat ini, pelayanan angkutan umum di kota Tegal dinilai masih belum dapat bekerja secara optimal. Tidak optimalnya fungsi layanan angkutan umum di kota Tegal, dianggap menjadi salah satu penyebab tingginya tingkat penggunaan kendaraan pribadi dikalangan pelajar. Oleh karena itu, penyediaan jasa angkutan sekolah yang layak dapat menjadi salah satu solusi alternatif untuk mengatasi kepadatan arus lalulintas di kota tersebut, khususnya pada jam sibuk seperti jam berangkat dan pulang sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa minat pelajar dalam menggunakan jasa angkutan sekolah masih cukup tinggi, dengan catatan bahwa moda transportasi yang dimaksud mampu menjangkau daerah dimana para pelajar tinggal.

Abstract

Economic growth in a country, especially in big cities such as Semarang Indonesia, has an impact to an increase in the number of vehicles passing through the area. This issue logically correlates to why the existing transportation facilities and infrastructure need to continuously improve. Semarang Public Works Department of Bina Marga as an extension of the central government has been continuously making efforts, including improving the quality and quantity of road sections in the areas deemed to need handling. These aim to expediting and accelerating traffic activities among regions. Using quantitative methods supported by SPSS V26 software, this study aimed (1) to investigate factors influenced the success of Sidodadi Sabara project, (2) to find out factors which most influenced the success of the project, and (3) to find out how successful the project was. From results of the analysis, it was recognized that the work management be the most dominant factor among the other factors. By anticipating this variable, the success rate of Sidodadi Sabara road project development would potentially increase. This research was expected to be an empirical input for related parties, especially the implementing agencies of the project.
