Abstract

Academic achievement is starting point for the students to succeed in learning. There are two factors that contribute to succeed of the students’ academic achievement such as achievement motivation and academic self-concept, both factors are non-cognitive factor that affect on students' academic achievement. This research aimed to examine the effect of achievement motivation and academic self-concept on academic achievement of students of all the Junior High School in Malang city. Path analysis method been used to analyze the data that been collected from 393 samples. Result of the research shown that there were positive and significant directly and indirectly influenced between academic self-concept and achievement motivation on academic achievement.Prestasi akademik merupakan tolak ukur keberhasilan siswa dalam belajar. Terdapat dua faktor yang berkontribusi dalam keberhasilan siswa mencapai prestasi akademik, yaitu motivasi berprestasi dan konsep diri akademik, keduanya merupakan faktor non-kognitif yang berpengaruh terhadap prestasi akademik siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh motivasi berprestasi dan konsep diri akademik terhadap prestasi akademik siswa SMPN se-Kota Malang. Metode analisis jalur digunakan untuk menganalisis data yang dikumpulkan dari 393 sampel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara langsung dan tidak langsung antara konsep diri akademik dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap prestasi akademik.

Abstract

KPL is one of the programs that must be implemented by students of the department of education at Universitas Negeri Malang (UM). The MPA Student is required to implement the program that is determined to implement the lesson study in the framework of lesson study. Based on the facts in the field, there are many obstacles faced by MPA Students, among them (1) the lack of presence of field supervisor in the learning activities; (2) lack of guidance of teachers in learning activities; (3) lack of material handout lesson study. Based on the problem, the researcher wanted to focus the research on how the effectiveness level of Lesson Study Module in Geography Learning for Students at school MPA activity. This research is one of descriptive research by using qualitative approach. The subjects of this study are students who have taken the MPA. Based on the research results can be seen that 77% of students give positive responses to the module. The developed modules are very effective and worthy of use for MPA Students. The developed modules can be used as reference material for MPA Students in conducting lesson study activities. In the future, it is expected that there will be further research in the field of lesson study geography. It is also recommended that modules can be experimented so that modules can be developed again for the better.KPL adalah salah satu program yang wajib dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa jurusan kependidikan di Universitas Negeri Malang. Mahasiswa KPL wajib melaksanakan program yang sudah ditentukan, yaitu melaksanakan pembelajaran dalam kerangka lesson study. Berdasarkan fakta di lapangan banyak sekali kendala yang dihadapi Mahasiswa KPL, di antaranya (1) kurangnya kehadiran dosen pembimbing lapangan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran; (2) kurangnya bimbingan guru pamong dalam kegiatan pembelajaran; (3) minimnya materi handout lesson study. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut peneliti ingin memfokuskan penelitian pada bagaimana tingkat efektifitas Modul Lesson Study dalam Pembelajaran Geografi bagi Mahasiswa pada kegiatan KPL sekolah. Penelitian ini adalah salah satu penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa yang pernah menempuh KPL. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa 77% mahasiswa memberikan respon positif terhadap modul. Modul yang dikembangkan sangat efektif dan layak digunakan bagi Mahasiswa KPL. Modul yang dikembangkan dapat dijadikan bahan rujukan bagi Mahasiswa KPL dalam melaksanakan kegiatan lesson study. Kedepan diharapkan ada penelitian lanjut di bidang lesson study geografi. Disarankan juga agar modul bisa dieksperimenkan sehingga modul dapat dikembangkan lagi menjadi lebih baik lagi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of motivation and student learning outcomes during the implementation of learning using learning model think pair share assisted images media. The subject were students of the fourth grade at Sd Inpers Mangga Dua Merauke. The analysis technique used descriptive analysis. Data collections teqniques used: observation, questionnaires, and tests. The result of this study showed that the implementation of learning model think pair share and images media was effective to improve motivation and learning outcomes. The implementation of learning model think pair share and images media can improve average score of learning motivation from 74.91% in cycles 1 into 87.27% in cycles 2. The improvement of student learning outcome was 68,81% in cycle 1 and 86.36% in cycles. The results indicate that implementation learning model of think pair share and images media can improve motivation and learning outcomes.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran think pair share berbantuan media gambar. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Inpres Mangga Dua Merauke. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, angket, dan tes. Hasil penelitian ini terdapat peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa rata-rata 74,91% pada siklus I menjadi 87,27% pada siklus 2. Peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif siswa meningkat pada siklus I sebesar 68,81% pada siklus II mencapai 86,36%. Dengan demikian, hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa melalui model pembelajaran think pair share berbantuan media gambar dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This research aims at investigating liberal life perspective of Indonesian language teacher at SMK Kartika IV-1 Malang in regard with general education objective, school aims, general characteristics, children as learners, management and administration, curriculum characteristics, learning subject materials, learning method, learning evaluation and classroom management. This research employed qualitative design using case study approach. The subject of this research were liberal Indonesian language teachers at SMK Kartika IV-1 Malang. The data of this research were obtained through in-depth interview and observation. The obtained data then were analyzed using Education Ideology Mapping by O’Neil (2008). The results of this study indicated that life perspective of liberal Indonesian language teachers at SMK Kartika IV-1 regarding general education objective, school aims, general characteristics, children as learners, management and administration, curriculum characteristics, learning subject materials, learning method, learning evaluation and classroom management is diversed. However, life perspective of liberal Indonesian language teachers at SMK Kartika IV-1 is not constantly similar with Education Ideology Mapping by O’Neil.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pandangan hidup guru bahasa Indonesia SMK Kartika IV-1 Malang yang berideologi liberal tentang tujuan pendidikan secara umum, tujuan sekolah, ciri-ciri umum, anak sebagai pelajar, administrasi dan pengendalian, sifat-sifat kurikulum, implementasi mata pelajaran, metode pengajaran dan penilaian hasil belajar, dan kendali di ruang kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru bahasa Indonesia liberal SMK Kartika IV-1 Malang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara yang mendalam dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan rambu-rambu ideologi pendidikan O’Neil (2008). Hasil penelitian ini adalah pandangan hidup guru bahasa Indonesia liberal SMK Kartika IV-1 Malang tentang tujuan pendidikan secara umum, tujuan sekolah, ciri-ciri umum, anak sebagai pelajar, administrasi dan pengendalian, sifat-sifat kurikulum, implementasi mata pelajaran, metode pengajaran dan penilaian hasil belajar, dan kendali di ruang kelas beragam. Akan tetapi, pandangan hidup guru bahasa Indonesia liberal SMK Kartika IV-1 Malang tidak selalu sama dengan teori rambu-rambu ideologi pendidikan liberal O’Neil.

Abstract

This present study intends to develop reading materials for physical education students’ of STKIP PGRI Jombang as an effort in improving students’ English ability especially on reading skill. The research and development procedures of this present study are obtained by adaptation the combination models of Borg and Gall (1983), Dick and Carey (2001) and Hyland (2003). It is adapted simplifier into four stages, those are: (1) need analysis; (2) developing material; (3) validation; (4) revisions. The material developed was based on the real field condition which is suited to the students’ and the lecturer’s need. It is also considered by the syllabus used by the lecturer.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan materi reading untuk mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan jasmani dan kesehatan di STKIP PGRI Jombang sebagi salah satu usaha untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa Inggris mahasiswa khususnya pada reading skill. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian diadaptasi dari Borg and Gall (1983), Dick and Carey (2001) and Hyland (2003) yang dikombinasikan dan disederhanakan menjadi empat langkah, meliputi (1) analisis kebutuhan; (2) pengembangan materi; (3) validasi; (4) revisi. Materi yang dikembangkan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan mahasiswa dan dosen. Pengembangan materi juga didasarkan pada silabus yang digunakan oleh dosen.

Abstract

The purpose of rhe research to explain PPG SM3T Program designs for building the grogrphy teacher competences, the graduates of  SM3T’s Program. The design implementation of PPG SM3T includes curriculum development process till the evaluation of geography teacher competences. Competence referred to are competence pedagogical, competence personality, social competence, and professional competency. The research is a case study researchs in Malang State University. Technique the data collection was done through in-depth interviews and documentation. Data analysis use the interactive model Miles and Huberman. This research result indicates that an implementation program PPG includes several stage are: (1) the developmental syllabus stages by the appropriate policy regarding university, (2) the pre the condition stages as the combined with plenary 1, (3) the learning system stages are consist of several stage and learning activities, thy are: (a) workshop SSP stages consist of the stage activity: plenary 2 namely the deepening of material curriculum 2013; pre-test; focus group discussion are the subject matter of geography and pedagogical that have not understood, yet; independent working group is composing device learning, combined the stage of plenary 3, revision and approval lesson plans that is peer teaching, formative tests , KKL and doing incidental activity such as writing journals and scientific paper; (b) the stage of PPL consist of procession submission the PPL students to school, KMD trainings by the PPG, doing some teaching and non teaching activities, PTK researchs, and a test of the performance by lesson study; (c) the competency test stages which are consist of intensification of the subtansial geography materials, also the local and national examination test. The implementation directed in developing geography teacher competences which are consist of pedagogik, personality, social and professional competences.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan bentuk implementasi Program PPG SM3T dalam membangun kompetensi guru geografi alumni program SM3T. Bentuk implementasi Program PPG SM3T meliputi proses pengembangan kurikulum hingga penilaian kompetensi guru geografi. Kompetensi yang dimaksud adalah kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi sosial, dan kompetensi profesional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus di Universitas Negeri Malang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bentuk implementasi Program PPG meliputi beberapa tahapan, yaitu (1) tahap pengembangan silabus oleh pihak terkait sesuai kebijakan universitas; (2) tahap pra kondisi sebagai gabungan tahap pra kondisi dan pleno 1; (3) tahap sistem pembelajaran yang terdiri dari beberapa tahapan dan kegiatan pembelajaran, yaitu (a) tahap workshop SSP terdiri atas tahapan kegiatan pleno 2, yaitu pendalaman materi kurikulum 2013, pre-test, diskusi kelompok yaitu diskusi materi geografi dan pedagogik yang belum dipahami, kerja kelompok mandiri yaitu menyusun perangkat pembelajaran, gabungan tahap pleno 3, revisi dan persetujuan RPP, yaitu peer teaching, tes formatif, KKL dan melakukan kegiatan insidental seperti menulis jurnal dan artikel ilmiah; (b) tahap PPL terdiri dari tahapan prosesi penyerahan mahasiswa PPL ke sekolah, pelatihan KMD oleh pihak PPG, melakukan kegiatan mengajar dan non mengajar, penelitian PTK, dan uji kinerja berupa Lesson Study; dan (c) tahap uji kompetensi terdiri dari, pendalaman materi subtansial geografi, Ujian Tulis Lokal, dan Ujian Tulis Nasional. Tahapan implementasi diarahkan dalam membangun kompetensi guru geografi, yaitu pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial, dan profesional.

Abstract

This research was aimed to result of Sustainable Reserve Food Garden Program (SRFGP) booklet learning media for ecopesantren students are (1) arrange SRFGP booklet for senior high school students in boading house, (2) to test feasibility of SRFGP booklet trough test the validity by material expert, media expert, and environment practitioner, (3) to test practically of SRFGP booklet trough students responses. Research method is  consists of  developmental research a model of ADDIE that have 5 phases are Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The result showed that material validation from material expert reaches 67.04% to the category of very valid. Validation results of media expert are 93.30% to the category of very valid. Environment practitioner validated it results 88.33% to the category of very valid, students responses to the booklet in small group trials results 98.82% to the category of very valid. The conclusion of this research SRFGP booklet is feasible and practice to implement for learning media for ecopesantren students in central Lombok.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran booklet program Kawasan Rumah Pangan Lestari untuk santri ekopesantren, yaitu (1) menyusun booklet KRPL untuk santri MA Pondok Pesantren, (2) menguji kelayakan booklet KRPL melalui uji validasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan praktisi lingkungan,  dan (3) menguji kepraktisan booklet KRPL melalui uji coba pendahuluan oleh santri. Metode penelitian ini ialah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, dan Evaluate). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan booklet dari ahli media sebesar 93,3% dengan kategori sangat valid, ahli materi sebesar 67% dengan kategori cukup valid, dan ahli praktisi lingkungan sebesar 88,3% dengan kategori sangat valid, dan uji pendahuluan sebesar 98,9% dengan kategori sangat valid. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini ialah booklet KRPL sangat layak dan praktis digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran santri di Ecopesantren Lombok Tengah.

Abstract

The ability to think critically must be owned by the student in order to face various personal and social problems in his life. The ability to think critically is the ability to think reflectively and reason in decision making. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with the aim to describe students' ability in construct critical thinking. The subjects of the study were the students of class VIII A SMPN 1 Delanggu Klaten regency for the academic year 2016/2017 which amounted to 29 students. The critical thinking instrument developed from the critical thinking of Ennis (2011). The instrument consists of 15 descriptions of the ability to think which consists of 13 aspects. The question instrument used has been validated by an expert lecturer. The analysis is done on the student's answers and is categorized into four categories: True (true), Partially correct (C), Correct (partially incorrect), and Incorrect (S). The results showed that students' critical thinking ability was low. This proves that students' critical thinking skills still need to be trained further in order to be improved.Kemampuan berpikir kritis harus dimiliki oleh siwa agar dapat menghadapi berbagai permasalahan personal maupun sosial dalam kehidupannya. Kemampuan berpikir kritis adalah kemampuan berpikir reflektif dan beralasan dalam mengambil keputusan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa dalam konstruk pemikiran kritis. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII A SMPN 1 Delanggu Kabupaten Klaten tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 29 siswa. Instrumen kemampua berpikir kritis dikembangkan dari kemampua berpikir kritis Ennis (2011). Instrumen berupa 15 soal uraian kemampuan berpikir yang terdiri atas 13 aspek. Instrumen soal yang digunakan telah divalidasi oleh dosen ahli. Analisis dilakukan terhadap jawaban siswa dan dikategorikan ke dalam empat kategori yaitu benar/correctly (B), cukup benar/ partially correct (C), kurang benar/partially incorrect (K), dan salah/ incorrect (S). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa rendah. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa masih perlu dilatihkan lebih lanjut agar dapat ditingkatkan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the learning process with the approach of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME), which can increase the motivation to learn mathematics student in materials Systems of Linear Equations in Two Variables on VIII-C students of SMP IT Ash-Shadhili. This research was a Classroom Action Research consisting of four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. In the RME approach, teachers initiate learning by giving realistic problems. Students are asked to understand the problem and then solve it by discussing based on their knowledge and experience on teacher guidance. Students are then asked to discuss and compare answers through presentation activities during class discussions. Teachers motivate students to ask questions, give feedback or feedback. At the end of the learning the students are given the opportunity to deduce the material they have learned. The results showed that the RME approach learning can increase student motivation. This was proven by the percentage of observation results of students' learning motivation classically reached 83.33%, while the average percentage of observation results every meeting of two observers reached 80.37% in either category.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar matematika siswa pada materi Sistem Persamaan Linier Dua Variabel di kelas VIII-C SMP IT Asy-Syadzili. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang terdiri atas empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Pada pendekatan RME, guru mengawali pembelajaran dengan memberikan masalah realistik. Siswa diminta untuk memahami masalah kemudian menyelesaikannya dengan cara berdiskusi berdasarkan pengetahuan dan pengalaman mereka atas bimbingan guru. Selanjutnya siswa diminta untuk mendiskusikan dan membandingkan jawaban melalui kegiatan presentasi pada saat diskusi kelas. Guru memotivasi siswa untuk berani bertanya, memberikan masukan atau tanggapan. Diakhir pembelajaran siswa diberi kesempatan untuk menyimpulkan materi yang telah dipelajari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan pendekatan RME dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan persentase hasil observasi motivasi belajar siswa secara klasikal mencapai 83,33%, sedangkan rata-rata persentase hasil observasi setiap pertemuan dari dua orang observer mencapai 80,37% pada kategori baik.

Abstract

The development research aims to produce learning materials Plantae such as devices based Guided Inquiry integrated Islamic values to improved understanding of the concept of high school students. Adapted development the procedure development according the Borg and Gall model. The results of the analysis of the learning device shows the value of the average percentage of expert learning device by 98.1%, 86.1% materials experts and teachers of 95.4%. Small groups of test results by 89.8%. The main test was conducted on the experimental class and the control class in high school Annur Bululawang. The results of data analysis using Anacova showed that the understanding of the concept of students in the experimental class is significantly different from the students in the control class. Scores understanding of the concept of students in the experimental class is higher (80.9) than the control group (67.5). The results of this study indicate that the application of Guided Inquiry-based learning device can significantly increase students' understanding of the concept.Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa perangkat pembelajaran materi Plantae berbasis Inkuiri Terbimbing terintegrasi nilai Islami dalam peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa SMA. Prosedur pengembangan mengadaptasi model pengembangan Borg and Gall. Hasil analisis perangkat pembelajaran menunjukkan nilai persentase rata-rata dari ahli perangkat pembelajaran sebesar 98,1%, ahli materi 86,1%, dan guru sebesar 95,4%. Hasil uji kelompok kecil sebesar 89,8%. Uji coba utama dilakukan pada satu kelas eksperimen dan satu kelas kontrol di SMA Annur Bululawang. Hasil analisis data menggunakan anakova menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep siswa di kelas eksperimen berbeda secara signifikan dengan siswa di kelas kontrol. Skor pemahaman konsep siswa pada kelas ekperimen lebih tinggi (80,9) daripada kelas kontrol (67,5). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis Inkuiri Terbimbing secara signifikan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa.
