Abstract

The purpose of this study relates to the state detention house which is basically a home for inmates who have committed criminal acts, perpetrators of crimes with various actions. However, the researcher analyzed that they had lost their way in life. So, it is not kept away but given a humanitarian approach. A powerful humanitarian approach by providing education to them. The approach to Islamic religious education is the bulwark of morality in their lives after leaving the detention center. Researchers divide Islamic religious education into five aspects, namely: (1) iqro, (2) fiqh, (3) moral aqidah, (4) quran hadith, (5) cultural history, and (6) deepening of the Koran. The researcher concludes: (a) the implementation of adding material is important, measuring the success of education, adequate teaching staff, (b) the curriculum must be standard, the material still depends on the ustad, the material is in accordance with the respective cleric's ormas, and (c) there are several obstacles inmates who are difficult to take to class, lazy to learn and low motivation from inmates, lack of teaching staff and incomplete facilities.

Abstract

This article examined Muhammad Abduh's renewed thinking in the field of Islamic education. This study was conducted to explain the importance of education in life through the thinking of one of the reformers in Egypt. This research was a library research in which data was obtained through documents analyzed by content analysis. The results of this study suggest that Islam strongly recommends that its adherents have a balance between mind and soul. This must be in the process of a person studying or studying. Where the community became imitation and did not want to accept technological advances in the West at that time. Muhammad Abduh also had a brilliant idea to renew the objectives, curriculum, methods of Islamic education that could be used as a reference in the education process.

Abstract

The article seeks to analyze the learning design of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) with the Briggs and Bela H. Banathy model at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Surabaya. One of the essential aspects in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning activities is learning design. Good learning design will have an impact on the quality of students and increase their competence. Through qualitative research based on field research with a case study approach and through in-depth interviews, this article shows three things, namely the design of Akidah Akhlak learning at MAN Kota Surabaya post Covid-19 Pandemic following the analysis model design of Briggs and Bela H. Banathy. The overall learning design is based on the Ministry of Religion and the Ministry of Education and Culture's 2013 Curriculum, KMA Numbers 183 and 184 of 2019 concerning Islamic Education and Arabic Language curriculum in Madrasas, which includes four elements: religious moderation, character education (PPK), anti-corruption education, and literacy improvement, and is adapted to the mission and vision of MAN Kota Surabaya.

Abstract

Madrasah are formal educational institutions that have a lot of Islamic studies in them, both from the formal curriculum, as well as supporting superior programs. However, the reality on the ground there are still Madrasah that do not have a superior religious program to support the identity of the madrasah, in fact many of the formal educational institutions that incidentally are not Madrasah that have a superior religious program. Of course this is a problem that must be solved. Therefore, this study aims to find out how the role of the madrasah principal in developing the tahfidz curriculum at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahussudur 01 Dagangan is to advance the madrasah and as the only superior religious program. This study uses qualitative research with descriptive analysis, while the data collection techniques were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the principal of the madrasah has carried out his duties well in developing the tahfidz curriculum. In addition to having innovation and a good desire for Madrasah, before this program is implemented, madrasah principals also bring in tutors who are experts in the field of the quran to provide training and guidance to teachers for learning methods and also equalize reading quality.Key word: Leadership, curriculum, Tahfidz

Abstract

Pesantren is a classical Islamic educational institution that is still transforming toward a better civilization. Transformation in pesantren is not something new, but an old thing that must be considered more critically. One of the most essential things in the framework of the transformation of pesantren in this era of globalization is the transformation of the curriculum. Pesantren must be able to design a curriculum that is adaptive to the times and all the things it needs. This is so that pesantren do not move towards conservatism and orthodoxy of Islamic teachings alone, but must be contextual and in harmony with the times. Therefore, pesantren must accommodate several important aspects of the needs of the times into the curriculum in it. It is starting from the foreign language aspect that is needed by the global world to prepare students to have good communication skills when entering a wider competition. Comprehensive literacy aspects so that students have broad insight and views and have all the basic phenomena. Aspects of information and communication technology so that students can use the latest tools. Finally, the cultural aspect, so that students understand and understand the noble culture of the pesantren and their nation.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the extent to which the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the multicultural-based curriculum at the Sabilul Muttaqin Foundation. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. The technique of collecting data in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzing and drawing conclusions from the field data obtained. The findings of this research are: Planning for a Multicultural-Based Islamic Boarding School Curriculum at the Sabilul Muttaqin Foundation: a) The teacher council as curriculum planner first becomes a good role model for students b). There is approval from the chairman of the Foundation. c) Conducting deliberation d) The prepared curriculum can be a forum for students to understand multicultural values. 2) implementation of the multicultural-based pesantren curriculum at MTs Sabilul Muttaqin, namely; a) Instilling multicultural values b) Implementing policies that are in line with the multicultural curriculum c) Supervising and encouraging all activities d) Adjusting the lesson plans that have been prepared with the curriculum e) Preparing exciting techniques and methods f) using classical and modern systems, with Arabic and English as the language of instruction g) combining the national education curriculum and the pesantren curriculum, and 3) Evaluation of the multicultural-based pesantren curriculum at the Sabilul Muttaqin foundation, a) Curriculum evaluation carried out in stages b) knowing the success of achieving educational goals, c) the mechanism for implementing the evaluation curriculum directly and at the end of the school d) holding monthly meetings e) evaluations carried out by the teacher council when learning takes place, and curriculum meetings participate.

Abstract

Karakter menjadi faktor terpenting dalam pencapaian pendidikan.  Karakter tidak terbentuk secara tiba-tiba, melainkan perlu adanya pembiasaan secara rutin. Indonesia sebagai negara humanis menjunjung tinggi sikap gotong royong, tenggang rasa, saling menyayangi dan mengayomi. Namun, hal tersebut kini sedikit demi sedikit mulai memudar lantaran kurangnya kepedulian terhadap sesama. Peristiwa tersebut menjadi landasan terkuat untuk menerapkan pendidikan karakter yang harus ditanamkan sedari dini khususnya di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan serta menganalisis implikasi dari pembinaan karakter melalui program Jumat Amal yang telah di terapkan di SDN 5 Gunung Agung. Oleh karena itu, peneliti perlu memahami proses pelaksanaan serta nilai-nilai karakter yang termuat di dalamnya. Pendekatan yang digunakan yakni pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari  kepala sekolah, guru PAI, guru kelas serta siswa kelas V dan VI. Lokasi penelitian berada di desa Tunas Jaya tepatnya di SDN 5 Gunung Agung. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan menunjukan adanya nilai karakter yang muncul di dalamnya. Implikasi tersebut terlihat dari hasil kuesioner yaitu 95% siswa menjawab tepat sesuai dengan karakter yang diharapkan dan 5% siswa menjawab tidak tepat terhadap karakter yang diharapkan. Artinya program Jumat Amal terdapat keterlibatan dalam pembinaan karakter. Oleh sebab itu, program Jumat Amal menjadi alternatif kegiatan untuk membina karakter siswa.Kata kunci: Pendidikan karakter, Siswa, Jumat Amal

Abstract                                              The lack of quality education in an educational institution can have a negative impact on various aspects of life, these educational institutions have different social conditions from other regions, the area has limited human resources, and lack of infrastructure in terms of health and education, but these educational institutions are Islamic boarding schools are very close to cultural traditions, and really need development to become an advanced educational institution, with its own characteristics in a certain cultural tradition. There are many learning methods that can be used so that students are interested in learning according to the scientific approach of the 2013 Curriculum. The purpose of this research is to develop the potential of students (interests and talents) and improve student learning outcomes based on learning methods and media (living culture). This study uses a qualitative approach to social phenomenology, the data collected comes from sampling sources, literature review and interview documentation, namely data from interviews with various sources and studies of library materials, in the form of: encyclopedias, books, articles, and scientific works. published in mass media such as magazines, newspapers and scientific journals as well as research carried out by going directly to the field without going through the media information to obtain the results of developing learning methods in the distribution of multi-cultural education at Islamic Boarding Schools. Keywords: Living culture, learning method, Islamic boarding schoolAbstrak Kurangnya kualitas pendidikan pada suatu lembaga pendidikan dapat berdampak negatif pada berbagai aspek kehidupan, lembaga pendidikan tersebut yang memiliki kondisi sosial berbeda dengan wilayah lainnya, daerah tersebut memiliki sumber daya manusia terbatas, serta kurangnya sarana prasarana dari segi kesehatan maupun pendidikan, namun lembaga pendidikan tersebut merupakan pondok pesantren yang sangat erat terhadap tradisi kebudayaan, serta sangat membutuhkan pengembangan untuk menjadi sebuah lembaga pendidikan maju, dengan memiliki karakteristik tersendiri pada suatu tradisi budaya tertentu. Banyak metode pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan agar peserta didik tertarik dalam pembelajaran sesuai pendekatan saintifik Kurikulum 2013. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan potensi peserta didik (minat dan bakat) serta meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik berdasarkan metode dan media pembelajaran (living culture). Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of online learning using zoom and wa group media in Islamic and Science courses at the FEBI Faculty of ES Study Program UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta.  Methods of data collection using interview and observation techniques.  The results of this study indicate that: 1) online learning using zoom media and whatsapp group is effective but not optimal, 2) online learning makes learning creative, in order to add insight of course by reading more books, online journals and understanding lecture material,  3) the advantages of online learning are that it saves the cost of living and makes students not technologically stuttering, 4) the disadvantage of online learning is regarding the mastery of the language contained in the zoom media.  Then the computer language that is not so well known.  Difficulty accessing graphics, images and videos because the equipment used is not supported. Keywords : Effectiveness, Online Learning, Zoom, Whatsapp Group AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahu keefektifan pembelajaran daring dengan menggunakan media zoom dan wa group pada mata kuliah Islam dan Sains di Fakultas FEBI Prodi ES UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : 1) pembelajaran daring dengan menggunakan media zoom dan whatsapp group sudah efektif namun kurang maksimal, 2) pembelajaran daring membuat kreatif dalam belajar, guna menambah wawasan tentunya dengan cara lebih banyak membaca buku, jurnal online dan memahami materi perkuliahan, 3) kelebihan pembelajaran daring adalah hematnya biaya hidupdan menjadikan mahasiswa tidak gagap tekhnologi, 4) kekurangan dari pembelajaran daring adalah mengenai penguasaan Bahasa yang terdapat pada media zoom. Kemudian Bahasa computer yang belum begitu dikenal. Kesulitan mengakses grafik, gambar dan video karena peralatan yang dipakai kurang mendukung. Kata kunci : Evektivitas, Pembelajaran Daring, Zoom, Whatsapp Group

Abstract

At the beginning of the establhisment of the Al –Ishlah Jenggawah Islamic boarding school, it only focused on learning Islamic treasures such as reciting the traditional book and so on which aimed to scholars ora kyai. With the current developments, Islamic boarding schools must adjust by integrating the learning currulum with madrasah. so that in the current era, graduates of the Al-Ishlah Islamic boarding school can study at universities or work in government or private institutions. The research used is a descriptive qualitative approach and data collection by observation, interviews, and documentation. After the data is obtained, it is reduced, and final conclusion is presented. The Conclusion of this study are first, the concept of integration of the Al-Ishlah Jenggawah Islamic Boarding School curriculum is a combination or combination of cottage and madrasah materials simultaneously, continuously, Second, the integration of the Al –Ishlah Jenggawah Islamic Boarding School curriculum integration is carried ot as follws : 1) integration cottage of material in the form the of the nahwu sobah subject into madrasah material, 2) Application in the use of foreign language (Arabic and English) in daily activites, 3) Compulsory programs learning 6 years and 4 years, 4) Integration of Islamic boarding school materials, namely classic/yellow books into the madrasah subject schedule, 5) Application of the language of instruction in learning in foreign language class. Keywords: Integration, Curriculum, Islamic boarding school, madrasah.
