Abstract

The development of the concept of Internet of Things (IoT) makes people excited about making devices that can control electrical devices remotely even when they are not at home. This system is known as a smart home. This smart home system controls electrical devices such as lights, fans, sockets and door locks through a smartphone application with the Android operating system that is connected to the internet. The Android application has a login security system so that not just anyone can control the device. To be able to control the device, a NodeMCU ESP-8266 microcontroller is needed which is already connected to the internet network as a data receiver through the Realtime Firebase database and a relay as a regulator of electric current from the plug to the device. Device control can use 2 modes, namely voice recognition mode and manual button mode. Voice recognition mode uses a special command code listed in the application in the Guide menu or guide. Every activity in controlling electrical devices will be recorded in the activity log and stored in Google Sheets, so that these activities can be monitored and can save electricity usage.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar-belakangi oleh adanya potensi longsor yang cukup tinggi di daerah sekitar DAS Gung kabupaten Tegal. Salah satu faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap potensi longsor adalah penggunaan lahan vegetasi penutup di sekitar daerah tersebut. Lahan konservasi yang seharusnya ditanami berbagai tanaman keras diganti dengan tanaman pertanian yang memiliki akar serabut dangkal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendesain beberapa alternatif perbaikan tanah dan mengkaji sejauh mana penerapan analisis Value Engineering pada lereng sungai di Desa Guci, Kecamatan Bumijiwa, Kabupaten Tegal. Jenis penelitian ini adalah explanatory research, tentang proyek Perencanaan Konservasi DAS Gung. Pemodelan pada Penelitian ini diperlukan untuk menganalisis hasil Total Displacement pada tanah penurunan analisa stabilitas lereng pada pembangunan perencanaan Dinding Penahan Tanah dan hasil Value Engineering. Perencanaan struktur ini menggunakan program Plaxis 8.2, diperoleh 3 alternatif perbaikan lereng yaitu Retaining Wall, Sheetpile Wall dan Revetment Wall. Penerapan Stabilitas Lereng Pada 3 Alternatif perbaikan lereng menggunakan Plaxis 2D menghasilkan keluaran berupa Safety Factor dan Penurunan Tanah mencapai angka aman untuk dilakukan pekerjaan konstruksi dikarenakan nilai keamanan melebihi ambang batas yaitu lebih dari 1,5 (>1,5). Melalui analisa value engineering dapat disimpulkan bahwa setelah dianalisa dengan perbandingan nilai cost dan worth DPT Alternatif 1 Sheetpile Wall menunjukkan nilai penghematan yang paling besar dan dengan analisa metode paired comparison didapatkan nilai DPT Alternatif 1 Sheetpile Wall dengan biaya Rp. 345.543.185 atau ada penghematan sebesar Rp. 893.037.900 dari DPT Rencana Retaining Wall dan ada Penurunan biaya dari DPT Rencana Retaining Wall sebesar 57,8%.

Abstract

The development of buildings in Blora Regency continues to increase along with the development of the city. Every building has the potential and risk of fire hazard. Fire is one of the disasters that can cause considerable losses. Building safety is a must in a building. Building construction must be balanced with prevention of fire hazards. This prevention must be planned from planning, implementation and post-construction, so that the handling of fire hazards can be applied to the construction itself.The purpose of this study was to determine the weight of priority variables, building safety against fire hazards and the level of reliability in the PEM AKAMIGAS Vyatra VIII Cepu building. The method applied in this study uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method which is effective in helping to solve the problem of the reliability of fire fighting access in buildings, by distributing questionnaires to respondents who work in the construction of the PEM Akamigas Vyatra VIII Building.The results are the reliability of the value system for building fire safety (NKSKB) in the Cepu PEM AKAMIGAS Vyatra VIII building with an assessment of access and water supply for firefighters 13.32%, means of rescue 9.12%, passive protection 8.82%, active protection system 13, 86%. The level of reliability of protection in the PEM AKAMIGAS Vyatra VIII Cepu building is overall "Good" with a percentage of 87.12%. Research on fire risk, both in terms of buildings, occupants and the environment, is expected to be able to reduce and overcome the risk of fire hazards that can occur at any time.

Abstract

Data collection system Distribution of disaster relief aid in evacuation centers which is still carried out conventionally where data collection on the identity of disaster victims will be recorded on a sheet of paper during the entry process at the refugee barracks, resulting in long queues and making it less conducive when distributing aid, it is necessary to design a system data collection service distribution of assistance to record the identity of disaster victims by using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) in the form of a bracelet, by applying single-phase and multi-channel single-phase queuing models and using the prototyping method. The purpose of this research is to reduce the waiting time for the distribution of aid, so that there is no queue buildup. a data collection system with a conventional single-channel single-phase model should take 16 seconds, while a data collection system for distribution of assistance integrated with RFID takes only 2 seconds, while a data collection system for distribution of assistance with a conventional multi-channel single-phase model takes 22 seconds and which uses RFID takes 2 seconds. The trial results show that the distribution of assistance is faster when using a single-phase multi-channel queuing model.

Abstract

Staphylococcus aureus adalah salah satu bakteri pemicu terjadinya diare dan penyakit pada kulit. Salah satu tanaman yang telah diteliti sebagai antibakteri adalah tanaman daun teh putih (Camellia sinensis L.). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui formulasi sediaan gel hand sanitizer ekstrak daun teh putih yang memberikan efektivitas antibakteri paling baik terhadap bakteri S. aureus. Daun teh putih diekstraksi menggunakan etanol 96% dengan metode maserasi. Gel dibuat 3 formula dengan konsentrasi ekstrak etanol daun teh putih sebesar 2%, 4%, dan 6%. Gel diuji sifat fisik, stabilitas dan aktivitas antibakteri terhadap bakteri S. aureus. Uji antibakteri dilakukan dengan metode sumuran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan gel ekstrak etanol daun teh putih memenuhi persyaratan pH, viskositas, dan homogenitas. Gel ekstrak etanol daun teh putih bisa dikatakan stabil selama penyimpanan karena tidak terdapat perubahan yang berarti pada gel, baik itu organoleptis, pH, dan homogenitas. Pada pengujian antibakteri ketiga formula yang dibuat memiliki aktivitas antibakteri. Semakin tinggi konsentrasi ekstrak (2-6%) maka daya hambat yang dihasilkan semakin besar.

Abstract

Ketersediaan energi fosil dalam penggunaan bahan bakar semakin menipis dan tingkat residu yang dihasilkan semakin menigkat, sehingga diperlukan sumber energi alternatif untuk menunjang kebutuhan energi salah satunya bioetanol. Alang- alang (Imperata cylindrica) memiliki kandungan selulosa sebanyak 40,22% dapat digunakan sebagai bahan dasar bioetanol dengan bantuan Saccharomyces cerevisiae pengubah glukosa menjadi etanol. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis karakteristik bioetanol berdasarkan densitas dan persen rendemen bioetanol dengan variasi massa ragi roti Saccharomyces cerevisiae dan waktu fermentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Jumlah takaran larutan untuk setiap perlakuan adalah 100 ml. Nilai densitas tertinggi pada perlakuan 4 massa   roti Saccharomyces cerevisiae 15 gram dengan lama fermentasi 6 hari sebesar 0.9041 g/ml, nilai densitas terendah pada perlakuan 1 massa ragi roti Saccharomyces cerevisiae 10 gram dan lama fermentasi 3 hari sebesar 0,9340 g/ml. Persen rendemen tertinggi diperoleh dari perlakuan 4 massa ragi roti Saccharomyces cerevisiae 15 gram dan lama fermentasi 6 hari sebanyak 23,11% dan persen rendemen terendah pada perlakuan 1 dengan massa ragi roti Saccharomyces cerevisiae 10 gram dan lama fermentasi 3 hari sebesar 17,90%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh variasi konsentrasi  Saccharomyces cerevisiae dan lama fermentasi terhadap nilai densitas dan persen rendemen.

Abstract

Kulit biji kakao merupakan hasil samping pengolahan kakao dengan pemanfaatan dan nilai ekonomis yang rendah, padahal memiliki kadar serat yang tinggi. Kulit biji kakao yang sudah mengalami alkalisasi dan rasa masam yang berkurang berpotensi ditambahkan ke dalam produk pangan padat seperti cookies. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sifat fisikokimia dan sensoris cookies mocaf dengan penambahan bubuk kulit biji kakao hasil alkalisasi. Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pada empat formulasi dengan perbandingan tepung mocaf : bubuk kulit biji kakao sebesar 80:20 (F0), 80:20 (F1), 75:25 (F2), 70:30 (F3). Pengujian pada cookies meliputi sifat fisik warna menggunakan chromameter, sifat kimiawi meliputi kadar air, kadar abu, kadar lemak, protein total, karbohidrat, dan serat kasar, serta uji hedonic pada parameter rasa, aroma, warna, tekstur. Data diolah menggunakan One Way Anova dan uji Duncan pada tingkat signifikansi 0,05%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cookies mocaf kulit biji kakao hasil alkalisasi mengandung kadar air antara 1,02% - 2,32%, kadar abu antara 2,11% - 3,04%, kadar lemak antara 23,75% - 24,62%, protein total antara 4,77% - 5,19%, karbohidrat by difference antara 65,32% - 67,16%, serat kasar antara 5,50% - 6,73%. Hasil pengujian sifat fisik cookies mocaf pada uji warna diperoleh tingkat kecerahan berkisar antara 27,40% - 33,61%. Hasil pengujian sensoris secara umum panelis menyukai perbandingan mocaf : bubuk kulit biji kakao 70:30 beraroma coklat kuat, cookies berwarna coklat tua, dan tekstur yang renyah, sedangkan pada aspek rasa panelis lebih menyukai cookies dengan perbandingan 80:20.

Abstract

Research has been to produce a system that can help facilitate the process of drying clothes, so that it can handle the process of drying clothes. The system development method used in this study is the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method which has stages, namely requirements planning, workshop design and implementation, data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, literature study, and documentation. The software used is the Arduino IDE application. The tool that will be designed will work automatically, Raindrop sensor to detect raindrops, so that when it rains, clothes will automatically fall under the roof. LDR sensor to detect the weather in dark or light. Stepper motor to move clothes as detected. The components used are Arduino Nano, Raindrop Sensor, LDR Sensor, Breadboard, Driver Module, Jumper Cable, and Stepper Motor. Based on the results of the Prototype Automatic Clothesline Using a Raindrop Sensor and a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) Sensor Based on Arduino Nano which has been successfully processed on the Raindrop Sensor, namely when it rains it detects and does not detect rain, the LDR Sensor, which is when the weather is bright, it detects and in dark weather it doesn't. detect. With an automatic clothesline, so that it can help Nugraha Laundry employees and the community in handling clothes drying.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to apply linear regression algorithm to smart e-resort applications using a codeigniter framework so that it can run effectively and efficiently. Hotel Pagar Alam is currently still using manual methods, such as distributing brochures, this of course hinders the activities of hotels which are usually crowded and crowded on holidays or other major holidays that require hotels as a means to stay overnight, systems that can speed up the work of the manager and make it easier visitors to access reservation information as well as hotel facilities. By using the system development method Software Defelopment Life Cycle (SDLC) method. This smart e-resort was created using the PHP programming language with the Codeigniter framework and MySQL as the database. Testing of this system uses Black Box Testing with a score of 3.5 and expert review with a score of 4.1 from the implementation of Betha recapitulation in the valid category. Thus the application of the linear regression algorithm in the smart e-resort application using a codeigniter framework can run validly and efficiently

Abstract

Limbah cair batik menjadi salah satu masalah di lingkungan khususnya di perairan sungai. Banyak industri batik yang relatif masih lemah dalam hal penanganan limbahnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kitosan dari kombinasi Cangkang Keong Sawah (Pila ampullacea) dan Cangkang Kerang Darah (Anadara granosa) sebagai Biokoagulan dalam menurunkan kadar logam Kromium dan TDS pada limbah cair batik.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 1 kontrol P0 dan 3 perlakuan larutan Kitosan dengan perbedaan dosis yaitu : P1(150mg/25ml), P2 (200mg/25ml), dan P3 (250mg/25ml). Masing-masing perlakuan diulangi sebanyak 3 kali ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kitosan berbahan dasar komposit Cangkang Keong Sawah dan Kerang Darah mampu memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda nyata dalam menurunkan kadar Kromium dan TDS pada limbah cair batik. Perlakuan Kitosan terbaik berdasarkan Uji Jarak Ganda Duncan untuk menurunkan kadar Kromium adalah P1(150mg/25ml) dan untuk kadar TDS adalah P3 (250mg/25ml).
