Abstract

Abstract: The Research on the development of Mobile Apps under the name "La Bird" and its effectiveness on student bird literacy abilities has been carried out. The purpose of this study is to produce a product in the form of Mobile Apps and test the effectiveness of the literacy skills of students. The development model used is the Lee & Ow-en development model following the stages of assessment / analysis, design, develop, implement, and evaluate. The effectiveness of "La Bird" Mobile Apps is carried out with a pre-experimental research design in the form of one group pretest-post test design. The diversity of bird species that are used as content in Mobile Apps is obtained from the exploration results of the composition of bird species in 6 Water Resources of Malang Raya. The data obtained were analyzed based on the average NGain score of bird literacy. The average NGain score of bird literacy score was 0.50, which means that the level of effectiveness of using Mobile Apps on the ability of bird literacy is included in the medium category. Thus the Mobile Apps "La Bird" effectively trains the ability of bird literacy students who take the Ornithology course at the State University of Malang.Abstrak Penelitian tentang pengembangan Mobile Apps dengan nama “La Bird” dan efektivitasnya pada kemampuan literasi burung mahasiswa telah dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan produk berupa Mobile Apps dan menguji keefektifan pada kemampuan literasi burung mahasiswa. Model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu model pengembangan Lee & Owen mengikuti tahapan assessment/analysis, design, develop, implement, dan Evaluate. Efektivitas dari Mobile Apps “La Bird” dilakukan dengan desain penelitian pre-eksperimental berupa one group pretest-post test design. Keanekaragaman spesies burung yang digunakan sebagai konten di dalam Mobile Apps diperoleh dari data hasil eksplorasi komposisi spesies burung di 6 Sumber mata air Malang Raya. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis berdasarkan  nilai rerata NGain score literasi burung. Hasil rerata nilai NGain score literasi burung diperoleh sebesar 0,50, artinya tingkat efektivitas penggunaan Mobile Apps terhadap kemampuan literasi burung termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Dengan demikian Mobile Apps “La Bird” efektif melatih  kemampuan literasi burung mahasiswa yang menempuh mata kuliah Ornitologi Universitas Negeri Malang.

Abstract

Abstrak. Keberhasilan calon guru dalam pembelajaran ditentukan oleh banyak hal, salah satunya adalah kesadaran metakogntif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengukur kesadaran metakognitif calon guru di Universitas Islam Balitar (UNISBA) Blitar. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik survei yang menggunakan angket Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI). Angket terdiri dari dua aspek yaitu pengetahuan metakognitif dan regulasi metakognitif. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan kesadaran metakognitif calon guru di UNISBA Blitar tergolong tinggi (rentang skor 35-49). Pengetahuan prosedural memiliki nilai presentase tertinggi dalam aspek pengetahuan metakognitif.  Pada aspek regulasi metakognitif, skor tertinggi ada di indikator mengoreksi (93.75 persen). Skor terendah berada pada indikator mengevaluasi (76,25 persen).Abstract. The success of prospective teachers in learning is determined by many things, one of which is metacognitive awareness. This study aims to measure the metacognitive awareness of prospective teachers at the Balitar Islamic University (UNISBA) Blitar. This research was conducted using a survey technique using a Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI) questionnaire. The questionnaire consists of two aspects, namely metacognitive knowledge and metacognitive regulation. The results of the study show that the metacognitive awareness of prospective teachers at UNISBA Blitar is high (score range 35-49). Procedural knowledge has the highest percentage value in the aspect of metacognitive knowledge. In the aspect of metacognitive regulation, the highest score was in the correcting indicator (93.75 percent). The lowest score is on the evaluating indicator (76.25 percent).

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi penggunaan Augmented Reality (AR) dalam memfasilitasi perubahan representasi konseptual siswa tentang sistem endokrin dan penguasaan konsep. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi Experimental dengan desain penelitian Non equivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 30 siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran AR dan 30 siswa yang menggunakan video pembelajaran. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes uraian representasi konseptual dan tes pilihan ganda penguasaan konsep. Hasil tes representasi konseptual menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas eksperimen menggunakan bentuk representasi yang lebih beragam dengan bentuk tulisan, diagram, gabungan tulisan–diagram, tulisan–gambar, dan diagram–gambar setelah pembelajaran menggunakan AR. Mayoritas siswa kelas eksperimen juga menggunakan gabungan level representasi makroskopik-mikroskopik-submikroskopik dengan kedalaman dan akurasi konsep yang lebih baik dibandingkan siswa kelas kontrol. Siswa kelas eksperimen memiliki nilai penguasaan konsep yang lebih tinggi pada jenjang C3 dan C4. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan AR dapat memfasilitasi perubahan representasi konseptual siswa tentang sistem endokrin dan penguasaan konsep.Abstract. This study aims to identify the use of Augmented Reality in facilitating changes of students’ conceptual representation in endocrine system and enhance students’ comprehension to the concepts. The method used in this study is Quasi-experimental with the design Non equivalent control group design. The samples in this study are consisted of 30 students that use AR in learning and 30 students that use learning video. The instrument used in this study is an essay test about conceptual representation and multiple choice test about concept mastery. The conceptual representation test result shows that students in the experimental class use more diverse modes of representation changes with text, diagram, combination of text-diagram, text-picture, and diagram-picture after the learning with AR. The majority of students in the experimental class also use a combined macroscopic-microscopic-submicroscopic level of representation with better concept depth and accuracy than students in the control class. The experimental class students achieved higher concept mastery for the C3 and C4 levels. The results of this study indicates that learning by using AR can facilitate changes in conceptual representation and mastery of students' concepts in the endocrine system.

Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan dari pengembangan ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran androbiocation berbasis SETSI (Science, Environment, Technology, Society dan Islamic integrated) dan HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill) pada materi sistem koordinasi dan menguji kelayakan androbiocation yang telah dikembangkan. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran androbiocation adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yaitu (Analyze, Design, Development, Implemetation dan Evaluation) yang dikembangkan oleh Robert M. Branch pada tahun 1975. pada penelitian ini menggunakan evaluasi formatif yaitu hasil penilaian terhadap media yang dilakukan setiap tahapnya sehingga dapat mengetahui kualitasnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran androbiocation yang dibuat sangat layak dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran. Penilaian media didasarkan para ahli dan peserta didik yakni ahli materi 85 persen (sangat layak) , ahli media 91 persen (sangat layak), ahli integrasi 100 persen (sangat layak), dan guru biologi 93 persen (sangat layak), serta terakhir peserta didik kelas XI SMA mendapat presentase 90 persen (sangat layak).Abstract. The purpose of this development is to develop androbiocation learning media based on SETSI (Science, Environment, Technology, Society and Islamic integrated) and HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill) in the coordination system material and test the feasibility of androbiocation that has been developed. The method used to develop androbiocation learning media is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) which was developed by Robert M. Branch in 1975. In this study using formative evaluation, namely the results of the assessment of the media carried out at each stage so that they can know the quality. The results showed that the androbiocation learning media that was made was very suitable to be used as a learning medium. Media assessment is based on experts and students, namely material experts 85 percent (very decent), media experts 91 percent (very decent), integration experts 100 percent (very decent), and biology teachers 93 percent (very decent), and finally students’ class XI SMA gets a percentage of 90 percent (very decent).

Abstract

Abstrak. Self efficacy dalam kaitannya dengan literasi lingkungan adalah penilaian individu terhadap kemampuan diri sendiri dalam mengambil sikap dan tindakan yang diyakininya benar untuk memecahkan permasalahan lingkungan. Literasi lingkungan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kepedulian manusia terhadap lingkungan melalui sikap dan perilaku positif dalam berinteraksi dengan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan self efficacy dan literasi lingkungan siswa jurusan MIPA dan IPS di SMA Negeri 9 Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah  siswa kelas XI dan XII jurusan MIPA dan IPS SMA Negeri 9 Malang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan stratified random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes self efficacy dan literasi lingkungan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata nilai self efficacy siswa jurusan MIPA dan IPS yakni 65,8 dan 62,8, sedangkan rata-rata nilai tes literasi lingkungan adalah 278,95 dan 257,97.Abstract. Self-efficacy in relation to environmental literacy is an individual's assessment of one's own ability to take attitudes and actions that they believe are correct to solve environmental problems. Environmental literacy aims to increase human awareness of the environment through positive attitudes and behaviors in interacting with the environment. This study aims to determine the differences in self-efficacy and environmental literacy of students majoring in Mathematics and Natural Sciences at SMA Negeri 9 Malang. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The samples used in this study were students of class XI and XII majoring in Mathematics and Natural Sciences and Social Sciences at SMA Negeri 9 Malang. The sampling technique was done by stratified random sampling. The instruments used are self-efficacy and environmental literacy tests. The results showed that there were differences in the average self-efficacy scores of students majoring in Mathematics and Natural Sciences, namely 65.8 and 62.8, while the average environmental literacy test scores were 278.95 and 257.97.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan dan capaian supervisi pembelajaran melalui daring di SMA Negeri 10 Malang. Instrumen supervisi disusun berdasarkan pengalaman melaksanakan kegiatan lesson study. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara proportionate stratified random sampling. Para guru terbagi ke dalam tiga kelompok yaitu kelompok baby boomer, generasi X, dan generasi Y. Hasil penelitian supervisi pembelajaran melalui daring menunjukkan, bahwa pada tahap pra supervisi, kemampuan guru dalam menyiapkan pembelajaran dari terendah ke tertinggi secara berurutan adalah kelompok guru baby boomer, kemudian kelompok guru generasi X kelompok guru generasi Y memiliki kemam­puan sama. Pada tahap kunjungan kelas persentase ketercapaian kegiatan awal dalam pembelajaran, dari tingkatan terendah ke tertinggi diperoleh kelompok guru generasi X, kemudian generasi Y, dan selanjutnya kelompok guru baby boomer. Dalam proses pembelajaran kegiatan inti, ketercapaian kegiatan dari rendah ke tertinggi diperoleh oleh kelompok guru baby boomer, generasi X, dan generasi Y, sedangkan ketercapaian kegiatan penutup dalam pembelajaran dari urutan terendah ke tertinggi, diperoleh kelompok generasi X, diikuti kelompok guru Baby Boomer, dan kelompok guru generasi Y. Pada tahap pasca supervisi, diperoleh data kendala dan solusi yang berbeda dari kelompok guru baby boomer, guru generasi X , dan guru generasi Y.Abstract. This study aims to describe the implementation and achievements of online learning supervision at SMA Negeri 10 Malang. The supervision instrument was prepared based on the experience of carrying out lesson study activities. The sampling technique was carried out by proportionate stratified random sampling. The teachers were divided into three groups, namely the baby boomer group, generation X, and generation Y. The results of online learning supervision research showed that at the pre-supervision stage, the teacher's ability to prepare learning from lowest to highest in sequence was the baby boomer teacher group, then the group of teachers of generation X, group of teachers of generation Y have the same ability. At the class visit stage, the percentage of achievement of the initial activities in learning, from the lowest to the highest level, was obtained by the X generation teacher group, then the Y generation teacher group, and then the baby boomer teacher group. In the learning process for core activities, the achievement of activities from the lowest to the highest was obtained by the baby boomer, generation X, and generation Y teacher groups, while the achievement of closing activities in learning from the lowest to the highest order was obtained by the X generation group, followed by the Baby Boomer teacher group, and Generation Y teacher group. In the post-supervision stage, data on different constraints and solutions were obtained from the baby boomer teacher group, generation X teacher, and generation Y teacher.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penggunaan powerpoint dapat dikembangkan lebih dinamis dan komunikatif dalam bentuk powerpoint interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan powerpoint interaktif sebagai media pembelajaran pada submateri peran tumbuhan di bidang ekonomi dengan optimalisasi ubi jalar ungu. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis data menggunakan perhitungan RTVTK. Validasi media powerpoint interaktif dilakukan oleh tiga orang ahli materi dengan tiga aspek dan sembilan kriteria penilaian dan tiga orang ahli media dengan enam aspek dan 14 kriteria penilaian. Hasil validasi mendapatkan rata – rata total validasi (RTVTK) ahli materi sebesar 3,40 dan ahli media sebesar 3,80. Penilaian ini dinyatakan valid karena memenuhi kriteria kevalidan yaitu 3≤RTVTK≤4. Dengan demikian, powerpoint interaktif layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada submateri peran tumbuhan di bidang ekonomi kelas X SMA.Abstract: Powerpoint usage can be developed more dynamic and communicative into the form a interactive powerpoint. The research method used quantitatively descriptive and data were analyzed using RTVTK calculations. The media validation was carried out by three material experts with three aspects and nine assessment criteria and by three media experts with six aspects and 14 assessment criteria. The validation results obtend the average total validation (RTVTK) of material experts of 3.40 and media experts of 3.80. This assessment was declared valid because it met the validity criteria, which was 3≤RTVTK≤4. Thus, interactive powerpoint is suitable to use as a learning medium in the sub-material of the plant roles in the economy at class X SMA.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian dan pengembangan (Research And Development) ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah media berupa kartu pintar biologi dengan teknologi augmented reality dalam meningkatkan kemampuan habits of mind pada peserta didik kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Terbanggi Besar. Penelitian ini merupakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan Research And Development  (R&D) dari model Borg & Gall yang terdiri dari sembilan langkah. Penelitian ini teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, instrumen berupa lembar validasi media, angket respon peserta didik dan angket uji kemampuan Habits of Mind. Berikut ini nilai yang diperoleh dari hasil validasi oleh ahli media adalah 95%, ahli materi 98%, ahli bahasa sebesar 94% yang berarti produk tersebut valid dan hasil uji keefektifan penggunaan media kartu pintar biologi terhadap peserta didik memperoleh nilai sebesar 88% dengan kategori sangat baik. Selain itu didapatkan Hasil dari pengukuran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan Habits Of Mind dengan nilai ngain 0.51.Abstract. This research and development aim to produce a media in the form of a biology smart card with technology augmented reality in improving the ability habits of mind in class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Terbanggi Besar. This research is a research and development method of Research And Development  (R&D) from the Borg & Gall model which consists of nine steps. In this study, data collection techniques used interview methods, instruments in the form of media validation sheets, student response questionnaires and ability test questionnaires Habits of Mind. The following values obtained from the validation results by media experts are 95%, material experts are 98%, linguists are 94% which means the product is valid and the results of the effectiveness test of the use of biological smart card media on students get a score of 88% in the very category good. In addition, the results obtained from measurements in increasing the ability of Habits Of Mind with value of n-gain 0.5.

Abstract

Penelitian  ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan e-modul materi sistem pertahanan tubuh dengan instagram sebagai bahan ajar biologi dan potensi efektivitas e-modul guna mengembangkan keterampilan argumentasi siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Research and Development dengan tahap Analysis, Design, dan Development. Subyek penelitian terdiri atas dua orang ahli materi biologi, dua orang ahli media pembelajaran biologi, satu guru biologi, dan 30 siswa kelas XI IPA di salah satu SMA di DI Yogyakarta. Data penelitian meliputi nilai kelayakan e-modul yang dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen penilaian ahli materi biologi, ahli media, dan guru biologi, serta data kemampuan argumentasi siswa yang diperoleh dari soal pretest dan postes. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul layak digunakan berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi biologi yaitu sebesar 92%, ahli media sebesar 81.5 %, dan hasil penilaian guru biologi yaitu sebesar 77.5% untuk indikator kelayakan modul tergolong layak. E-modul ini potensial efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan argumentasi siswa berdasarkan nilai gain score sebesar 0.54 yang berarti keterampilan argumentasi siswa setelah belajar menggunakan e-modul mengalami peningkatan  dengan kategori sedang.This research aims to determine the feasibility of an e-module developed using Instagram as a biology instructional media on the topic of immune system and to find out its potential of effectiveness to develop students' argumentation skills. This research was conducted based on Research and Development framework through Analysis, Design, and Development stages. The subjects of the study were two biology experts, two biology instructional media experts, a biology teacher, and 30 grade-11 students of a high school in Yogyakarta province. The research data include the value judgements of the e-module feasibility which were collected using expert judgement sheets for biology experts, instructional media experts, and biology teachers, while data of students' argumentation skill obtained by pretest and posttest. All data were analyzed descriptively. The findings show that based on the feasibility judgements by 92% of biology experts reviews, 81.5% media experts reviews, and 77.5% of teacher review towards the feasibility criteria it is noted that the developed e-module is feasible to be used in biology instruction. Thus, the e-module is noticeably effective in fostering students’ argumentation skills based on the gain score obtained by 0.54 which means reached to medium category of students’ argumentation skill achievement.
