Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul berbasis guided inquiry pada materi bakteri kelas x SMA/MA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah model Bord and Gall dengan menggunakan 5 tahapan saja yaitu tahap penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi awal, tahap perencanaan, tahap pengembangan format produk awal, tahap uji coba awal, dan tahap revisi. Validator terdiri dari 1 ahli materi, 1 ahli desain, dan 1 guru biologi. Responden terdiri dari 6 orang siswa kelas XI IPA MA Muallimat NW Pancor tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan angket dengan skala likert menjadi skala 4 sesuai modifikasi peneliti. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif  kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahansan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk bahan ajar berupa modul yang dikembangkan memiliki kriteria layak, baik dari segi materi (81,05%), segi desain nahan ajar (96,42%), guru biologi (74,25%), dan respon siswa (93,18%). Dengan demikian, modul ini layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.Abstract. This study aims to develop a guided inquiry-based module on bacterial material for class x SMA/MA. This type of research is development research. The model used in this research and development is the Bord and Gall model using only 5 stages, namely the initial research and information collection stage, the planning stage, the initial product format development stage, the initial trial stage, and the revision stage. The validator consists of 1 material expert, 1 design expert, and 1 biology teacher. The respondents consisted of 6 students of class XI IPA MA Muallimat NW Pancor for the 2021/2022 academic year. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a Likert scale to a scale of 4 according to the researcher's modification. The data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the product of teaching materials in the form of modules developed has feasible criteria, both in terms of material (81.05%), in terms of teaching design (96.42%), biology teachers (74.25 %), and student responses (93.18%). Thus, this module is suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

Along with the development of 21st century technology, we are required to face the industrial revolution 4.0 in which the implementation of learning is expected to be more innovative, critical and creative. With progress in this level of education, superior and good quality human resources can be created in terms of religion, attitudes, and knowledge. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) learning model by using Google Classroom (GC) on students' critical thinking skills at the Biology Education Study Program in the Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu. This study was pre-experimental research using a one-group pretest & post-test design. The population was fourth-semester students of the Biology Education Study Program at the Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu especially for the Plant Physiology Course. This study only used one class with a similar sample which consisted of 29 students in the pretest and post-test groups. The data collection used the test to measure students' critical thinking skills involved use essay test. Data were analyzed using the t-test paired samples test (in pairs). Based on the result there was a significant influence from the application of the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) learning model by using Google Classroom (GC) on students’ critical thinking skills at the Biology Education Study Program in the Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk berupa Modul Elektonik Berbasis Anchored Instruction dengan menggunakan metode penelitian Research dan Development (R&D). Metode penelitian ini di gunakan untuk menghasilkan produk dan menguji kelayakan produk tersebut.Model penelitian ini yaitu melalui : 1) penelitian dan pengumpulan data, 2) perencanaan, 3) pengembangan draf produk awal, 4) uji coba lapangan awal, 5) revisi hasil uji coba, 6) uji coba lapangan produk utama, 7) revisi produk, 8) uji kelayakan, 9) revisi produk final, 10) desiminasi dan implementasi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Produk yang telah dikembangkan telah divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan validasi ahli media. Adapun hasil penilaian validator ahli materi, kelayakan media mendapatkan 91,73 %, skor validator 111, dan skor maksimal 121. Ahli materi menyatakan bahwa Modul Elektronik Anchored Instruction  yang dikembangkan “sangat valid” dan yang diperoleh dari penilaian validator ahli media, kelayakan media mendapatkan 97,11%, skor validator 101, dan skor maksimal 104. Ahli media menyatakan bahwa Modul Elektronik Anchored Instruction yang dikembangkan “sangat valid” atau Modul dapat digunakan tanpa revisi. Modul sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.Abstract. This study aims to produce a product in the form of Anchored Instruction-Based Electronic Module using Research and Development (R&D) research methods. This research method is used to produce products and test the feasibility of these products. The research model is through: 1) research and data collection ,2) planning, 3) development of initial product drafts, 4) initial field trials, 5) revision of test results, 6) main product field trials, 7) product revisions, 8) feasibility tests, 9) final product revisions, 10) dissemination and implementation. Data collection using a questionnaire. The product that has been developed has been validated by material experts and media expert validation. As for the results of the material expert validator assessment, the media feasibility got 91.73%, the validator score was 111, and the maximum score was 121. The material expert stated that the Anchored Instruction Electronic Module developed was "very valid" and obtained from the media expert validator assessment, the media eligibility got 97.11%, validator score 101, and maximum score 104. Media experts stated that the Electronic Anchored Instruction Module developed was “very valid” or the Module could be used without revision. So the module is very feasible to use in learning.

Abstract

Abstrak. Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin maju, mempengaruhi proses pembelajaran yang mengaplikasikan perkembangan teknologi dan melatihkan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan di abad 21 yaitu keterampilan berpikir berpikir kreatif. E-book yang dikembangkan dengan strategi mind mapping, dilengkapi berbagai fitur yang dapat mendukung kreativitas siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan e-book ensiklopedia serangga dengan strategi mind mapping untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif kelas X SMA Negeri yang dinyatakan efektif. Keefektifan e-book ensiklopedia serangga ditinjau dari hasil belajar , keterampilan membuat mind mapping dan respon siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) yang dimodifikasi dan dilakukan di Pascasarjana Sains Unesa pada bulan Juni 2020 – Februari 2021. Teknik pengambilan data melalui validasi, observasi, angket dan tes. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh rata-rata skor hasil belajar siswa sebesar 82,60% dan nilai N gain sebesar 0,50 kategori sedang. Skor rata-rata keterampilan siswa membuat mind mapping sebesar 79 dengan kategori tinggi. Dan ditinjau berdasarkan keterampilan membuat mind mapping dengan rata-rata 79 kategori baik dan berdasarkan respon siswa (dengan hasil 99,46% merespon positif).Abstract. The development of increasingly advanced technology affects the learning process that applies technological developments and trains the skills needed in the 21st century, namely creative thinking skills. The e-book, which was developed with a mind mapping strategy, is equipped with various features that can support student creativity. This study aims to produce an insect encyclopedia e-book with a mind mapping strategy to practice creative thinking skills for class X SMA Negeri, which was declared effective. The effectiveness of the insect encyclopedia e-book in terms of learning outcomes, mind mapping skills and student responses. The method used is a modified research and development (R & D) method and was carried out at the Unesa Science Postgraduate in June 2020 - February 2021. The data collection technique was through validation, observation, questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique was carried out quantitatively. Based on the results of the study, the average score of student learning outcomes was 82.60% and the N gain value was 0.50 in the medium category. The average score of students' mind mapping skills was 79 in the high category. And reviewed based on the skills of doing mind mapping with an average of 79 good categories and based on student responses (with the result of 99.46% responding positively).

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan modul biologi berintegrasi nilai-nilai Islam dengan pendekatan inkuiri pada sub materi pencemaran lingkungan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Development or Production, Implementation or Delivery and Evaluations). Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik MAN Kendal kelas X MIPA 6 yang berjumlah 31 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket kelayakan modul pembelajaran biologi berbasis nilai Islam. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu hasil validasi modul oleh ahli materi diperoleh presentase sebesar 77,41%, hasil validasi ahli materi bidang integrasi nilai Islam diperoleh presentase 80% dan hasil validasi oleh ahli media diperoleh presentase 71,33%. Penilaian guru terhadap modul diperoleh presentase 66% yang termasuk kategori layak. Dan penilain peserta didik terhadap modul yang dikembangkan diperoleh presentase rata-rata 76.67% yang menyatakan bahwa modul layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar.  Abstract. This study aims to determine the feasibility of the biology module integrating Islamic values with an inquiry approach on environmental pollution sub-material. This research is a development research using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Development or Production, Imple-mentation or Delivery and Evaluations). The subjects of this study were 31 students of MAN Kendal class X MIPA 6. The data was collected using a feasibility questionnaire for the biology learning module based on Islamic values. The results of this study were the results of module validation by material experts obtained a percentage of 77.41%, the results of the validation of material experts in the field of integration of Islamic values obtained a percentage of 80% and the results of validation by media experts obtained a percentage of 71.33%. The teacher's assessment of the module obtained a percentage of 66% which is in the feasible category. And the students' assessment of the developed modules obtained an average percentage of 76.67% which states that the modules are suitable for use as teaching materials.

Abstract

Abstrak. Salah satu elemen penentu keberhasilan dalam proses pembelajaran adalah keterampilan berpikir kritis, namun faktanya masih dijumpai permasalahan. Permasalahan keterampilan berpikir kritis dijumpai pada peserta didik kelas X  SMAN 4 Malang yang menunjukkan 15% keterampilan berpikir kritis sedang, 38% peserta didik dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis rendah, 47% keterampilan berpikir kritis sangat rendah. Rendahnya keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik berdampak pada hasil belajar kognitif yang dibawah KKM. Keterampilan berpikir kritis dapat ditingkatkan dengan inovasi pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning, Namun, sintaks PBL tersebut menjadikan implementasi PBL tidak mudah, maka dibutuhkan asesmen formatif sebagai alat bantu. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menguji pengaruh problem based learning berbantuan  asesmen  formatif terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik kelas X MIPA SMAN 4 Malang pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Penelitian ini ialah penelitian kuasi eksperimen menggunakan rancangan penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh peserta didik kelas X SMAN 4 Malang tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas X MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X MIPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian adalah soal tes esai keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kognitif pada materi perubahan lingkungan yang telah di validasi sebelumnya. Data penelitian berupa data kuantitatif skor keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar kognitif. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis kovarian (anakova) dengan bantuan SPSS 17.0. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat pengaruh problem based learning berbantuan asesmen formatif terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar kognitif. Disimpulkan bahwa integrasi problem based learning dengan asesmen formatif menjadi inovasi yang dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif pemberdayaan keterampilan berpikir  secara kritis dan hasil belajar.Abstract. The study aims to know the impact of problem based gaining knowledge of assisted by way of formative assessment on critical thinking skills and cognitive learning outcomes of college students of class X MIPA SMAN 4 Malang on environmental change material. This studies is a quasi-experimental take a look at the use of a nonequivalent control group design. The populace on this look all students X SMAN 4 Malang in the 2020/2021 academic year. The studies sample was class X MIPA 1 as the experimental class and X MIPA 2 as the control class. The research tool is a essay test of critical thinking and cognitive skills on environmental change material that has been previously validated. Studies data in the shape of quantitative data scores of critical thinking skills and cognitive learning outcomes. The records have been analyzed the use of analysis of covariance (anacova) with the help of SPSS 17.0. This examine received the results that there is an effect of problem based learning assisted with the aid of formative assessment on critical thinking skills and cognitive learning outcomes. It's far concluded that the integration of problem based learning with formative assessment is an innovation that can be used as an opportunity to empowering critical thinking skills and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional yang menghubungkan antara kecerdasan naturalis dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada materi pencemaran lingkungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah korelasional dengan populasi yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas X MIPA 1 sampai X MIPA 7. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 32 peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 instrumen yang sudah tervalidasi yaitu berupa soal uraian (test) untuk kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan angket kecerdasan naturalis (non-test). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas dan linearitas sebagai uji prasyarat analisis, serta uji regresi korelasi bivariat untuk uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada korelasi antara kecerdasan naturalis dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan nilai koefisien korelasi (R) sebesar 0,416 yang termasuk kedalam kategori sedang. Kemudian didapat juga nilai koefesien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,173 atau 17,3%.Abstract. This research is a correlational study that connects the naturalist intelligence with the learners' critical thinking ability on the environmental pollution material. The research method used is correlational with the population namely all students class X MIPA 1 to X MIPA 7. The research sample consisted of 32 students. The research instruments used this study consist of 2 validated instruments, namely the form of a description (test) for critical thinking skills, and non-test intelligence questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used are normality and linearity tests as prerequisite analysis tests, as well as bivariate correlation regression tests for hypothesis tests. Based on the results of the study can be concluded that there is a correlation between naturalist intelligence and critical thinking skills with a correlation coefficient value (R) of 0,416 which belongs to the medium category. Then obtained a coefficient determination value (R2) of 0,173 or 17,3%.

Abstract

Abstrak. The development of printed media in the form of an encyclopedia was carried out in this study to become a learning solution in schools that still have less IT facilities. Sub material of Invertebrate is one of the materials that is considered difficult because it contains a lot of material and unfamiliar terms, while the lesson hours are few. The inclusion of macro-zoo-benthos diversity in the encyclopedia media for use in schools located close to the aquatic ecosystem is believed to be able to provide more rich concepts for teachers to teach to their students. Abstract

Abstrak. Pemecahan masalah Keterampilan merupakan salah satu keterampilan siswa yang perlu digunakan. Salah satu upayanya yaitu pembelajaran berbasis Flipped Classroom dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh implementasi model Project Based Learning berbasis Filpped Classroom terhadap Problem Solving Skills siswa kelas X IPA SMAN 11 Muaro Jambi. yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperimental Designs dengan subjek penelitian yang dibuka 53 siswa yang terbagi dalam Rancangan dalam dua kelas eksperimen dan sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian berupa kemampuan Problem Solving siswa yang dilihat dari nilai pretest dan posttest.Kelas ekperimen diperoleh nilai rata-rata 83,33 sedangkan kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai rata-rata 73,70. Hasil uji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini didapat thitung = 3,19 dan ttabel = -1,67, dapat diketahui nilai thitung lebih dari ttabel. Merujuk pada hasil analisis data maka dapat dikatakan bahwa model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek Kelas Berbasis Flipped berpengaruh terhadap Keterampilan Pemecahan Masalah siswa.Abstract. Problem solving skills are one of the student skills that need to be trained. One of the efforts is Flipped Classroom-based learning by using Project Based Learning model. This study aims to find out how the effect of the implementation of the Filpped Classroom-based Project Based Learning model on the Problem Solving Skills of class X science students at SMAN 11 Muaro Jambi. The design used was Quasi Experimental Designs with 53 students as research subjects divided into two classes, the experimental class and the control class. The results of the study are described as follows, the problem solving ability of students is seen from the pretest and posttest scores. For the experimental class, average value was 83.33 and control class obtained an average value of 73.70. The results of hypothesis testing in this study obtained tcount = 3.19 and ttable = -1.67, so it can be seen that the value of tcount lebih ttable. Referring to the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the Project Based Learning model based on Flipped Classroom has an effect on students' Problem Solving Skills.

Abstract

Abstrak. Artikel merupakan kajian literatur yang membahas mengenai karakterisktik sistem reproduksi manusia sebagai materi pembelajaran. Materi sistem reproduksi manusia seringkali dianggap tabu untuk diajarkan, terutama di Indonesia. Tujuan dari kajian literatur pada artikel ini adalah menganalisis karakteristik materi sistem reproduksi manusia, media pembelajaran pada sistem reproduksi manusia, keterkaitan antara guru dengan pembelajaran sistem reproduksi manusia, asesmen untuk menilai pemahaman siswa terhadap materi sistem reproduksi manusia, dan cara pemberdayaan pembelajaran sistem reproduksi manusia. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengkajian tentang literatur yang berkaitan dengan karakteristik materi sistem reproduksi manusia, literatur yang dikaji berasal dari tahun 2010 hingga 2022 yang berasal dari jurnal bertaraf nasional dan internasional. Hasil pengkajian literatur adalah diperlukan pemberdayaan dengan inovasi pada bahan ajar dan bentuk penilaian yang digunakan dalam materi sistem reproduksi manusia.Abstract. The article is a literature review that discusses the characteristics of the human reproductive system as a learning material. The material of the human reproductive system is often considered taboo to teach, especially in Indonesia. The purpose of the literature review in this article is to analyze the material characteristics of the human reproductive system, learning media in the human reproductive system, the relationship between teachers and human reproductive system learning, assessments to assess students' understanding of human reproductive system material, and how to empower human reproductive system learning. The method used is an assessment of literature related to the material characteristics of the human reproductive system, the literature studied is from 2010 to 2022 from national and international journals. The result of the literature review is that empowerment is needed with innovations in teaching materials and forms of assessment used in the material of the human reproductive system.
