Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out: (1) How much influence does customer satisfaction have on the four-star hotel service recovery in Semarang City. (2) How much impact of customer trust on the service recovery of four-star hotels in Semarang, (3) How big is the influence of customer commitment on service recovery for four-star hotels in Semarang City. The sample in this study amounted to 57 respondents or customers. This study was analyzed using multiple linear regression includes the T-test, F test, and the coefficient of determination. Based on the results of the research and discussions, it can conclude that there is an effect of customer satisfaction on service recovery, there is an effect of customer trust on service recovery also there is an effect of customer commitment on service recovery.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the direct and indirect effects of product knowledge, brand image, brand love, and word of mouth as intervening variables on purchase decisions. The population in this study were all JimsHoney bag consumers in Semarang. Sampling was carried out using the purposive sampling technique, the number of samples was 116 respondents. The data collection method used a questionnaire and documentation. Methods of data analysis using classic assumption tests and hypothesis testing with the IBM SPSS Statistics 25 program. The results of this study indicate that product knowledge and brand love have a positive effect on purchase decisions. The brand image does not effect on purchase decisions. As well as product knowledge, brand image, and brand love have a positive effect on purchase decisions through word of mouth. Word of mouth has an important role in influencing purchase decisions. Therefore, companies must be able to create and maintain good word of mouth among consumers to attract attention and win consumers' hearts.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the effect of Intellectual Capital on the company’s financial performance and market value. The population used in this study are all large trasing subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2009-2018 studi period. The sampling technique in this study uses a purposive sampling technique that uses criteria that have been determined by researches in order to obtain a sample of 13 companies. The testing tool used is Partial Least Square (PLS) version 2.0. The result of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence of intellectual capital on the company’s financial performance and intellectual capital also has a positive and significant on the company’s market value.The suggestion in this research is companie wish to consider the use of intellectual capital to improve financial performance and market value of the company.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the determinant of the value of companies pre-and post-crisis global 2015 about companies registered on the Indonesian Stock Exchange 2012 - 2018. The population of this research were companies registered on the Indonesian Stock Exchange 2012 - 2018. The number of samples were 906 datas consist of 151 companies. The research sample was taken using purposive sampling technique. The datas analysis in this research used descriptive statistical analysis, a test model with the best panel data regression estimation, and multiple analysis. The model test results showed that the best panel data estimation model was the fixed effect model, while the best post data crisis estimation model was the random effect model. The hypothesis test results showed that institutional ownership did not influence with pre- and post-crisis company values, capital structure has a significant positive effect on pre- and post-crisis company values, company size had a significant negative effect on pre-crisis company values, and company size did not influence post-company value crisis. The conclusions of this research were that no contradiction about institutional ownership and capital structure to the values of the company both pre and post crisis, while the size of the company was related to the values of the company, where the pre-crisis influenced significant negative effect and post-crisis did not influence.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to determaine the effect of spiritual leadership (X1) and quality of work life (X2) on performance (Y2) with organizational commitment (Y1) as a mediation on employees of Wimarion Hotel Semarang. The type and design of the research used in this study is quantitative research. Sampling in this study using a saturated sampling system and obtained the sample size that must be used is 70 employees. The analytical method used is the test instrument (validity and reliability), classic assumption test, and hypothesis testing with IBM SPSS Verse 23 and mediation testing with Sobel test. Application methods of data collection using interviews, quetionnares, and literature studies. The result of this study show that all of seven hypotheses were accepted. Therefore could be known that spiritual leadership has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Quality of work life has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Spiritual leadership has a positive and significant effect on performance. Quality of work life has a positive dan significant effect on performance. Organizational commitment has a positive dan significant effect on performance. Organizational commitment is able to mediate the relationship between spiritual leadership and performance. And organizational commitment is able to mediate the relationship between quality of work life and performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of job satisfaction and personality on organizational citizenship behavior through the organizational commitment of employees in the production section of PT Timatex Salatiga. This type of research used in this research is quantitative research. The number of samples used was 100 respondents. The sampling technique used random sampling. The analytical method used is the instrument test (validity and reliability), descriptive analysis test, regression test and path analysis with the SPSS version 23 program. Data collection methods are by means of interviews, observations and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that job satisfaction and personality have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Job satisfaction and personality have a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior. Organizational commitment is able to mediate the relationship between job satisfaction and personality on organizational citizenship behavior. Suggestions from this research are that company management needs to reinforce rules and give verbal sanctions to gradual warning letters to employees who are often late, also applies to employees who leave work before the due time.

Abstract

Investors believe that economic factors have a major impact on developments in the Islamic capital market. This study aims to describe and analyze macroeconomics of the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI). The sample of this study consisted of 84 data consisting of all population data, namely all data on closing prices at the end of each month from exchange rates, BI Rate, inflation, world oil prices, world gold prices, and the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) for the period January 2013 - December. 2019. The analysis technique used is the Error Correction Model (ECM). The results showed that in the short term the exchange rate variable had a significant effect on the ISSI, while the BI Rate, inflation, world oil prices and world gold prices had no effect on the ISSI. In the long run, the variable exchange rate, BI Rate, inflation and world gold prices have a significant effect on the ISSI, while the world oil price variable has no effect on the ISSI

Abstract

Abstract Career commitment is motivating force for a person to work in that career continuously, which is based on belief in value of job that has been chosen. Career commitment is influenced by several factors such as psychological capital, subjective well-being, and job satisfaction. This study aims to examine the mediating effect of subjective well-being and job satisfaction in the relationship of psychological capital to career commitment. The population in this study were State Civil Servant (ASN) of Regional Secretariat in Banjarnegara. The sampling technique in this study used is saturated sampling technique with a total sample of 112 ASN. Methods of data analysis using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with analysis tools namely SmartPLS 3.0. The results of study indicate that psychological capital has a positive and significant influence on career commitment and also positive and significant on subjective well-being and job satisfaction. In addition, subjective well-being and job satisfaction also have a positive and significant effect on career commitment. Then, subjective well-being and job satisfaction mediate the effect of psychological capital on career commitment. Suggestions for the head of the department to hold training for work of an administrative nature in accordance with their position or duties and to create a pleasant work environment, for example, holding a State Civil Servant (ASN) gathering. If the State Civil Servant (ASN) is satisfied at work, then higher the career commitment will be.
