Abstract

Social interaction ability is a part of the social development which is important to be developed early, with good social interaction ability, children will be able to cooperate, sharing, respect and help other people. The stimulation of the childs social interaction ability can be done by implementing an innocative and appropriate learning models, one of them is a project-based learning model.The purpose of this research is to determine the difference the social interaction ability on children aged 5-6 years be examined the project-based learning model implementation in Dharma Wanita Bumimulyo Kindergarten Batangan District Pati Regency. This research is using pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest types design. The sampling technique using purposive sampling with Dharma Wanita Bumimulyo Kindergarten as the experimental group. Based on the hypothesis testing results of this study, obtained a value of  tcount amounting -22.148 with sig value (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is a significant differences between the pretest and posttest. So, Ha is accepted or there is a difference between before and after treatment with project-based learning model in the experimental group.

Abstract

The childs readiness for entering primary education is characterized by the development of all the potential of the child. One of the potential that needs to be developed early on was the base for the preparation of skills in reading, writing and counting. On the cognitive field is the addition of knowledge into long-term memory therefore age 4-5 years children can get knowledge about simple concepts in everyday life today, as does the math to know the beginning. In Indonesia, learning counting can be taught on children provided in accordance with tahapanya and methods used should be fun, realistic mathematics learning strategies could be options of teachers to introduce children in the learning of mathematics in particular the introduction of the basic concept of the symbol number. This study aims to describe the application of learning strategies in realistic mathematics introduces math beginning in children.This study is a qualitative research approach with the approach of case studies and using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation in and gather data. Technique of data analysis research is Miles: with Huberman& presentation data, reduction of data, summary and verification.The research results showed that introducing math commencement through learning strategies in realistic mathematics done in kindergarten the include Ananda Kudus planning learning strategy, organizing, delivery strategies, and management strategies. Introducing mathematics beginning kindergarten teacher AnandaKudus one of them invites children to play traditional games, traditional games with children indirectly learning about the introduction of the concept. So child-centered learning and the teacher is a facilitator for the children, where the main activities facilitate teacher needed by the child. The main activities will be explained by teachers in the delivery of the material to the next teacher freed children to perform the play. Teachers evaluate the child by means of observation during the activities of the main and petrified children when children have difficulty in completing the game activities.

Abstract

The background of the research is based on many cases of the Early Childhood Education (ECD) institutions which provide its service to early childhood students within limited time range only. This resulted the government to act by the release of ECD development policy through holistic integrative approach that includes health, nutrient, nurture, care, and protection in 2003. To support the enhancement of the access and quality of the Holistic Integrative ECD service, locals have a very vital role. This research employs qualitative descriptive method. The research subject of the research is locals, teachers, and principal. The data collection employs observation and interview. The data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion deduction and verification. The result of the results shows that (1) Holistic Integrative ECD service at PAUD Pelangi Post, Pedalangan specifically in giving service to their students to ensure the essential needs of the students is fulfilled, in the practice of the Holistic Integrative ECD program has been done well and successfully. PAUD Pelangi Post has given and prepared what are needed by students through integrative holistic service, both in giving facilities and infrastructure. (2) Locals’ participation in the development of Integrative Holistic ECD service at PAUD Pelangi Post is in the level of planning in balancing the ideas in the form of Posyandu and PMT reinforcement; implementing through sending their children to school from early childhood, following Bina Keluarga Balita (BKB), parenting, participating in Posyandu, and donating voluntarily; and supervising by reporting problems of children’s development to the principal and school through Puskesmas (Health institution) to find the best solution, hence children could get the best care from the best party. Locals’ participation arises due to self-awareness, outside reinforcement, and out of habit. The recommendations of the research are as follow: (1) the local to actively contribute and participate in the effort to equip the ECD institution with facilities and infrastructure to maximize service, (2) the school to develop their Holistic Integrative ECD service that is integrated with Posyandu and Bina Keluarga Balita (BKB), but also actively participate in activities within the area.

Abstract

Modernization and globalization can erode the national identity if not addressed wisely, one of the nations identity is culture, while cultural elements that most prominent is arts. Puppet art is original art from Indonesia, but nowadays puppet is only in demand by the elderly person and many young children not familiar with puppets, in fact it is they who will preserve the culture of this nation. Puppet Art Creation Learning is a learning which is expected to increase the childrens interest toward puppet. The Learning is implemented in accordance with the early childhood development. This research is using an experimental method. The study population was all students in Pertiwi Ngargomulyo kindergarten. The sampling technique that used is purposive sample technique. The sample collection at Pertiwi Ngargomulyo kindergarten class B1 and B2 Pertiwi Ngargomulyo kindergarten.It can be seen from the table 4.10 Shows there is an increased mean pretest value that originally 102,50 into 139,97 resulting in increased of the mean posttest amounted to 37,47. After being given a treatment, there is an increase in children’s interest, it seems from the mean (average) in the experimental group is 139,9. The t test calculation results obtained  value= 12,863 with sig value (2-tailed) < 0,05 so  is accepted. Based on these descriptions, it can be concluded that the giving of Puppet Art Creation Learning can provide significant improvement to the childrens interests.

Abstract

The high number of cases of child sexual abuse committed by the nearest children including the family shows the importance of early child sex education. Parents as educators in the family must have knowledge about sexual education for children. This study aims to find out whether there are differences in parental knowledge about early childhood sexual education based on education level in Krasak Village, Pecangaan Sub-district, Jepara Regency and whether parents graduate from Higher Education have knowledge about early child sexual education higher than parent who graduated High school and junior high school. This research type is quantitative with sample of parents who have children aged 4-6 years in Krasak Village, Pecangaan Sub-district, Jepara Regency. Data collection in this research is by using Parents Knowledge Scale of Early Childhood Sexual Education. Method of data analysis in this research is by using F test. The results of the study based on the calculation of statistical values ​​obtained F arithmetic> F table and Pvalue <0.05. Mean value in the group of parents who graduated from junior high school equal to 85.3, for the group of parents who graduated from high school 103.2, for the group of parents who graduated from college of 123.2. The result of research stated that there are differences of knowledge of parents who graduated from college based on education level and parents who graduated from higher education have higher knowledge than parents who graduated from high school.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the Learning of Entrepreneurship of AUD to improve the attitude of child self-reliance in kindergarten Khalifah Sukonandi Yogyakarta, as well as supporting factors and inhibiting the attitude of independence of children through entrepreneurial learning in kindergarten Khalifah Sukonandi Yogyakarta. This research is a qualitative research by using the method of observation, interview, and documentation in collecting data. Data analysis technique with interactive model. Data validity uses triangulation of methods and sources. Based on the results of data analysis conducted, the implementation of the entrepreneurship learning of AUD in TK Khalifah Sukonandi Yogyakarta includes: the initial activities, core activities, rest and cover. Children perform dhuha prayers together, where it is the way that is done to instill the value of successful entrepreneurs in the childs self by praying dhuha before learning begins. Because by training a child praying dhuha there is a value of discipline which is one of the values ​​of entrepreneurship. General learning activities with centers and there are special activities for entrepreneurship, such as market day, outing class and cooking class. Children look spirit and child independence attitude is good in offering merchandise. Childrens collaboration is good where children remind each other of their friends when choosing food or drink taken. In the implementation adjust the theme and conditions. For the special activities of market day TK Khalifah Sukonandi Yogyakarta made a semester program and the process of preparing a daily activity plan is incorporated into learning such as role play. The curriculum is centralized and distributed in the finished form. Teachers develop their own activities that will be implemented and adapted to the situation. Cooking class activity done twice a month. Market day activity is done three times. Outing activities are conducted two to three times. The factors supporting child self-reliance through entrepreneurship learning include: (1) from their own children, (2) the relationship between teachers and students, (3) good teamwork between teachers and (4) geographical location. Inhibiting factors of child self-reliance through entrepreneurial learning include: (1) limited places for outing, (2) limited number of children in market day activities, (3) limited educational game tools.

Abstract

The impact of globalization that is happening today brings Indonesian society to forget the character education of the nation. This study is based on the phenomenon of violence in children. Based on data from Tempo.co news uploaded on Wednesday 28 September 2016 declared a four-year-old Elderly Student in Wates Sub-district to be the victim of brutal brutal persecution of her class. This study aims to reveal the value of character education values ​​contained in Jlamprang Pekalongan Batik dance and Jlamprang Pekalongan Batik dance as a medium of character education in kindergarten B TK Batik Pencongan Wiradesa Pekalongan. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. Based on the results of this research is Batik Jlamprang Dance as a medium of character education is given as a means to achieve learning objectives. Implementation of character education is done through the process of planning, learning and habituation. Through this Jlamprang Batik Dance learning, it is expected that children can grow the character of patience, independence and hard work and change the character of the child from the bad to be good.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Personal safety knowledge of landslide disaster is knowledge of personal security against landslide disaster. Children who are not equipped with personal safety knowledge will have anxiety. A medium that can be used to provide personal safety knowledge in early childhood is by play and pictures. This study aims to determine the difference of adobe flash cs5 media application to personal safety knowledge of landslide disaster in Kindergarten of PGRI Tunas Patriot Banjarnegara Regency. This research uses experimental method with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study population is 70 children with 35 children as control group and 35 children as experimental group taken with purposive sampling technique. Moreover, data collection method in this research is test method and documentation method. Hypothesis test results obtained t posttest of control group has no significant difference because the value of 0.340> 0.05, thus personal safety knowledge on landslide disaster before being given the treatment is relatively same. After the treatment in experimental group, there is an increase in personal disaster safety knowledge, as seen from the Sig score. (2 tailed) 0,00 <0,05, therefore in experiment group equal to 137,14 and control group equal to 103,71 with difference of 33,43 and t statistic at posttest equal to -24,185. Based on the description, it can be concluded that adobe flash cs5 media provides enhancement to personal safety knowledge of landslide disaster in children aged 5-6 years. Abstract

Children’s social emotional development aged 5-6 year in Permendikbud number 137 year2014 on national education early childhood standards there are level of achievement in child development (STPPA) PAUD 2013 curriculum which consists of self-awareness, a sense of responsibility for themselves and other people, and social behavior. Self-awareness covering on how to show the ability of themselves based on situation, shows prudence to the unknown people (then brought belief in a right adults), and knowing his own feelings and work them in (to exercise restraint in appropriately). A sense of responsibility of themselves and others covering on how she knows her right, obey the class rules (rules, activities), organize themselves, and responsible for her own doing for her own goodness. The act of pro-social is by playing with their peer, knowing others feeling and response it appropriately, sharing with others, appreciate others’ right/argument/and works, using acceptable norm in solving the problem (using their logical thinking in solving their problems), being cooperative with their friends, being tolerant, expressing their true feeling (happy, sad, enthusiastic etc), and acknowledge themselves with norms in their surroundings.   The Purpose of this study is to find an improvement in children’s social emotional development aged 5-6 years in kindergarten in Pertiwi kindergarten Pakis sub district Magelang regency through Geculan Bocah Dance treatment. A method of this research is experimental research with one group pretest posttest design. In this case treatment is given to children aged 5-6 years which consist of 33 children. Technique of analyzing data is using paired sample t-test. Children’s social emotional development aged 5-6 years in Pertiwi kindergarten Pakis sub district at first of 47,24 %. Then Geculan Bocah dance treatment was given. Children’s social emotional development aged 5-6 years in Pertiwi kindergarten Pakis sub district increased to 82,12 %.The size of the increase occurring of 34,88%. Conclusion that obtained in this research is: there has been increasing on children’s social emotional development aged 5-6 years in Pertiwi kindergarten Pakis sub district Magelang regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of open inquiry approach in introducing the early science learning to 5-6 years old children at TK Muslimat NU 14, Kendal. The type of this study is pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. The sampling applied purposive sampling technique with group B of TK Muslimat NU 14 Plantaran as experimental class. Hypothesis test in this study applied paired sample t-Test calculation obtained from pretest and posttest results. The t-test result obtained t value of -14.777 with significance (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05, which means there is a significant difference between the value of pretest and posttest. The mean is -12.76. The minus sign indicates that the average of the first group (pretest data) is smaller than the second group (posttest data). So, HO is rejected and Ha is accepted. It shows that there is difference of mean of pretest and posttest value. It can be concluded that the open inquiry approach is an effective approach used for the introduction of early science learning on 5-6 years old children.
